Food was very good, order placed Togo through their 3rd party ordering service because they could not be reached by phone. We got chicken lollipops, shrimp korma and chicken vindaloo. Very flavorful and spicy. Large portions, plenty leftover. Only complaint is that not enough rice for the food portions. I will end up having to make rice to eat our leftovers. Maybe they forgot a serving? Anyway, food was very good and made on time.
Best Garlic and Butter Naan in the city. Their Tikki anything is exceptional as well. Fair warning order it mild. Asking for it spicy is asking to go on a euphoric trip, that you will feel for days to come. Lol if you have a wig, it will be knocked off! Would it be worth it, absolutely! It's delicious even though your mouth will be on fire, and your heart full of instant regret. Trust me have it mild. Their chicken and onion fritters with the red and green sauces are so delicious. Order extra for the table so you won't fight with your friends and family. The only con I have is that the wait time to have your order taken is always long and it's not because they are busy but it's always been because the young ladies taking the orders are always giggling and being teens. But honestly, that's the ONLY slight issue. Go have the best meal ever!
They're the best Indian restaurant in Beaumont, TX, no doubt about it. Customer service is amazing. I have never had anything bad in this place. 100 percent recommended.
The food was absolutely amazing! Perfect blend of spices. Can’t recommend the food highly enough! We had Tandoori chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were delicious!
Been eating here for several years now and it is one of our favorite places to get food in Beaumont! Buffet at lunch time always has delicious options. We have also gotten take out, so far our orders have been correct every time and food was nice and hot.
Absolutely amazing experience every single time! The food is always utstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly makes the night is unforgettable staff. Everyone is always elcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, making you feel taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Always a pleasure to dine in or take out with staff that feel like family. 🩷🩶🩷🩶
The Chili Chicken appetizer was my favorite! They serve bottled soft drinks, but they give you a fancy cup with ice in it and a full pitcher of water for your table. The Tandoori chicken was great as was the naan. Also, they box up your meal for you in reusable tupperware. I highly recommend them! Make sure you tell your server that you are doing separate checks when you order!
This was the absolute best Indian food I have had in over a decade! They have the standard selection and they have more authentic selections! You can’t go wrong here! Very reasonable prices for great food. The service was superb as well! If you get a chance to eat here I highly recommend it and ask for Maya, you will be glad you did.
Absolute best Indian and Himalayan food anywhere!! Fresh, perfectly cooked, spectacular flavors. This place stays in the top of my favorite places to eat. UPDATE: It's still amazing food and service. Maya was a superb hostess. The mixed grill feast, Bhindi Masala, Shrimp Vindaloo and cheese naan are ther best you'll ever eat. Absolutley love this place.
Our waitress, Maya, was friendly, attentive, and made some great reccomendations! All around good service. The Lamb Vindaloo with garlic naan is definitely my favorite! The Chicken Korma, Garlic Chicken, Shrimp Fried rice, and Chicken Tikka Masala were all delicious! They have different spice levels, I got medium but next time I'm getting spicy! There are so many more things I need to try on this menu. We'll be back again!
Absolutely delicious !! This was our very first time trying food like this and it did NOT disappoint. Mitt was our server and he did an exceptional job at helping us understand the food and ingredients we were getting. He kindly explained the whole menu and the “favorites” that other people enjoyed as well. The environment was very nice and clean, with clean bathrooms and amazing service. Upon entering, we were greeted and immediately served ice cold water while we waited to be tended to. While eating, they made frequent stops to make sure everything was going well and Mitt even helped us pack our leftovers as well as explain how to keep them good/how to reheat for a couple days after to eat on everyday. Price for everything is very reasonable with the amount of food that you get as well as how filling and delicious it is. Highly recommend! Best place we’ve ever dined at.
The food was amazing. I would recommend anyone trying Indian food for the first time to try the butter chicken and vegetable Samosas. For the people who like spice the medium version of the butter chicken will clean your sinuses, so you can just imagine what the spicy would do. Mitt was very accommodating and made the whole experience enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend Taz for a great time and meal.
I dine here almost every day, which speaks volumes about my experience. The food is exceptionally flavorful, the best in the Golden Triangle. The service is also excellent; Maya and the other servers are always friendly and efficient, readily assisting with explanations about the dishes, taking orders, and serving the food promptly. The restaurant is always spotless, and the music is pleasant and not loud. Overall, it's the best restaurant in Beaumont, hands down.
Don't let the location fool you... the food is awesome. Service is quick. Good came out hot, I actually had to wait a few minutes before I could eat, to let it cool off. We had the potato and pea samosas, they were killer... though I thought we usually got 3, instead of 2... but it was fine because they were much larger than they were. The butter chicken looked and tasted amazing, a rich orange color with loads of chicken. I tried something different, the Ginger/garlic Chicken. It was amazing, I'm glad I tried it. Overall... I'm satisfied!
I went for dinner, I ordered enough food for about 3 people. They have large portions. Once you sit down they bring out what looks like a large chip, and two sauces. One taste like mint with cilantro and lime juice? It’s very good! The other sauce is a sweet and mild tangy with a slight heat. For an appetizer I ordered vegetable Sarmosa. They were filled with spiced potatoes, onions and peas. (3PCS). For my meal I ordered lamb chops. I ordered a medium spice, a level of hotness for medium, it was like an 8! Pretty spicy. The lamb was tender, so tender! I then requested yogurt which helped dilute spice. They were delicious! The lamb chops were laid on top of chopped potatoes and spices. I ordered rice cooked in Cummin seeds, onion and cilantro . Excellent! Lastly I ordered a bowl of Chicken Tiki Masala, (medium heat) also very spicy. It included white rice on the side. The restaurant was clean. Table setting has a romantic feel of you get one of the tables on the ends. Quiet music playing. The only thing I would recommend is to not ask me if I’m ready for the check, because sometimes I like to order desert. Other than that the waitress was nice and the food was EXCELLENT. I had plenty of left overs for the next day. Thank you to the cook! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented.
The food is delicious, but we were charged gratuity for a table of 5 when it clearly states on the menu that any table for 6 people or above will be charged gratuity. When questioned all they said was that the table THEY told us to sit at had 6 chairs so we were forced to pay for a sixth chair. This makes no sense whatsoever! If you don’t want to be overcharged make sure to count your chairs.
Mitt was a good wait and the young lady. Excellent food. My only complaint would be for a table to have all their food come out together. I was almost done eating then my wife and her food. As she was about to finish her last dish came out. Other than that it was excellent.
Wow, this place is amazing. I've had Indian food before, but this grill is off the charts. The garlic and cheese naan is so tasty. The shrimp and butter chicken is extremely good. We had the Marsala along with the Goat, super good. The owners/staff were so helpful and accommodating. We will be back, and we will bring more friends and family. I'm so sorry that I didn't get any pictures of all the dishes that we ate. Next time, no doubt. Come enjoy with Mitt and his wonderful setting here!
Original Review "Overall a good place for some nice Indian Cuisine. Wait staff is very responsive and pleasant." Since my original review I have edited my review based on latest experiences. We recently visited and ordered a particular dish mild, what was served to us could only be classified as Hot. Also, we feel like we are rushed into ordering and once done also rushed into paying for the food. These changes have led to an overall sub par experience.
I wish I can rate the service a (0)! I understand that the restaurant closes at 3:00, but the way we were just treated was completely unacceptable, especially considering we had three kids with us and nine adults paying over $50 per person. For the amount of money we just spent, basic respect and grace should’ve been given. Instead, the staff kept flicking the lights on and off like they were trying to run us out, even though we were actively eating and not just sitting around talking. They also CHARGE US for a EXTRA buffet claiming someone “didn’t pay,” which was completely untrue. On top of that, we had to ask for drinks and ask for refills. They even rushed us with to-go plates while we were still trying to enjoy our food, the lady was extremely loud asking us did we need plates and that they will now start taking our plates. We came in as paying customers again nine adults plus children and we could’ve easily been the type of group to come back with 50 people and spend even more money. But after this? Never again. The service was rude, the treatment was embarrassing, and the lack of grace and hospitality was shocking. My feelings was truly hurt! I did a Buffett and couldn’t finish my second plate because we were rushed out…and since it’s Buffett I couldn’t take it to go $50+ dollars gone to waste! I will not be returning.
I usually don’t leave reviews, but today’s experience was bad enough that it needs to be said. My family and I nine adults and three kids with us, all paying over $50 a person. Easy $500 that was made They even charged us for a second buffet, saying someone didn’t pay. That was completely false. On top of that, I had to ask just to get a drink and still never got one. They rushed us with to-go plates and acted like it was a problem for simply trying to finish our meal. But what about the people who just paid for buffet and still on the first plate…sad! Terrible service, rude staff, and absolutely no hospitality. Just know they don’t care to give good service just pay $500 and have seven minutes to eat or I’m flicking the lights to scare your kids while they eat!
