This was our first time in Pulido's and we are glad we stopped by. The food was authentic TexMex and on so good. We even got a to go menu for my wife to look at. We will be stopping here more often when we travel that way.

We have loved Pulidos for years. It's where we gather as a large family for birthdays. Great people run it. Food is delicious! They have great margaritas!

I absolutely love visiting Pulido's. The food is always delicious, the serving staff is fast and very attentive, and the margaritas are some of the best. I really enjoy my visits here with friends and family.

We've been going to Pulidos restaurants for 50 years. They never disappoint. Best cheese enchiladas with chili corn carne anywhere. My husband says the cheese chili rellenos are the best a anywhere. Keep up the good work.

The food was EXCELLENT!! Stopped there for a quick bite and the service was very phenomenal, Lauren was pleasant and helped with any questions we had. Definitely will keep this place in mind as we travel this way next time!

Food is always amazing. The chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce is my fave. And the flan... Omg the flan was some of the best iv ever had.

Loved the carne guisada and rice, beans were okay, and our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Diego Rivera outside was a bonus, plus they have a line of their own sauces and pecan pralines...

Good Mexican restaurant in Eastland Texas. Stopped on our way through Texas. The front desk attendant at our hotel suggested Pulido’s for dinner. We had chicken fajitas for 2 and a margarita and a beer. The food was delicious and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Excellent guacamole. More than we could eat so we had to take some with us. We had a very attentive and helpful young waiter named Alex. Enjoyed the whole experience.

Let's just say that the food makes up for the staff... the food is delicious, but the wait staff is not. If you want someone that understands and speak English well I don't recommend this place, but the food is authentic and the nachos are phenomenal. Also you can get Margaritas by the pitcher which is always a nice plus. I do recommend and I will return.

This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside however, the food is great! Probably one of the best Tex mex places I have ever eaten at! Clean and delicious. Next time I am in town I will definitely make a point to stop for some awesome food! Surprisingly good.

This is a very good place to eat. We are in East Texas and travel West through Eastland Six times a year. We always try to time out trip to get there to eat lunch or supper. If you can, ask to have Luis as your waiter. We eat out all the time and never had a better waiter. Of course we really like this restaurant and highly recommend it. Try the tortilla soup!

I absolutely love the experience at Pulido's every single time. I have never had a bad experience there. The food is amazing, the staff is amazing, the alcohol is perfect, and I love the management. The place is very clean. I recommend everyone to eat at Pulido's at least once in their lives or so

Pulido's is a busy place, primarily because the food is great, but also because the employees are competent and eager to serve you. The manager does an excellent job of training his employees. You will enjoy your visit to this great restaurant.

We make this stop routinely when we drive from our home to Dallas. We’ve even driven an hour just to eat there. I’ve never been disappointed. The chips and salsa are always so tasty and fresh. Service is quick and friendly.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the waiters care enough about you as a person to make sure you are kept comfortable with the food you ordered. If a problem occurs it's fixed quick and no drama. Take out orders are extremely generous. They give you enough food for a couple days and the prices are good. The food is always fresh. Hand prepared they don't use bagged or microwave food. My husband and I go quite often and are always just as pleased sometimes even surprised at some changes.

I treated my mom to a birthday lunch here, and it was a flawless experience from start to finish. We were seated immediately, and the attentive staff ensured we never wanted for anything. The value is unbeatable—we ordered cocktails, appetizers, (guacamole), and two entrees, yet the bill was surprisingly affordable. A highlight was the personal touch: the manager stopped by specifically to wish my mom a happy birthday, and they even surprised her with a complimentary dessert. The food was phenomenal—I cannot recommend the flautas enough. They even handled the cleanup for us, boxing our leftovers and providing to-go cups as we departed. Whether you’re planning a family gathering, a professional business lunch, or a romantic date, the atmosphere is perfectly versatile. We both absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. Stopped in on our way down I-20, was greeted with a smile at the host stand and quickly seated our party of 11. The restaurant is clean and provides a great atmosphere. Our server Zeb M was very friendly, happy and knowledgeable of the menu. All of our needs were met promptly and with great hospitality! The food was excellent! Prepared well, plated with care… all of our orders were substituted to some extent(picky eaters) and the plates were all correct the first time! Overall this was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be making an effort to time out our trips west to coincide with making Pulidos the choice place for our meal! Thank you!

I have tried several of their menu items. So far...all have been great. My most favorite is the Chicken Tortilla Soup. It is sooo good.. and very filling. Try it! You will love it!

Good food with truck parking and friendly service

Had the arroz con pollo and beef taco salad. Taco salad quite good and enough for two, very happy with that. Arroz con pollo was good, not great. All white meat, which most people seem to want, so I'm probably the odd man out here, but I'll take thigh meat over breast meat in a dish like this any day. Service was quite good.

Pulido's has been a stop on family road trips since I was a child. Food has always been good, restaurant has been clean and the wait staff has always been friendly. Definitely worth a stop whether you live in Eastland or just driving through!

Best tamales I've had in years, but we just moved from Georgia. There were no good tamales in the state of Georgia. Fast service though not especially friendly.

The chips were crispy, the guacamole was excellent. The enchiladas were good, but the soft Taco with queso on top tasted like melted Kraft cheese. I was expecting authentic Mexican food, the tea was good also. The waitress had an attitude at first but she warmed up to us.

So much better than it used to be. The tacos weren't the best but everyone else liked theirs a lot. Need to have another waiter though. The one guy was really good but had to take care of to many tables and there were several other employees just standing around.

I have never listed Pulido's as my favorite mexican food. I've always preferred the place across the highway. I must say though, the last two meals I've had there have been quite good. Maybe they have stepped up their game with the close competition right there.

After being told by the woman sitting us that my dad's service dog was not allowed we explained it was a service dog, she then went and got someone else and he asked again. My dad showed him the certificate and he said ok. The dog was wearing a service dog vest, and we should not have been questioned once but twice was ridiculous. The waiter was very friendly and fast.

Another location of a familiar DFW chain. Prompt service, same menu and recipes that we know and love back in Fort Worth. Portion sizes were huge. We had to ask for refills, but flagging down a waiter wasn't that big of an issue. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It's definitely worth a stop the next time we drive through on I-20.

Went today for the first time since the re-open. Place is cleaner and brighter. My server Maddox was very attentive, making sure I was taken care of. I would recommend sitting at one of her tables. Food was great as well as always.

Glad this place is finally back open. Food is great. They are still breaking in. It is improving every time we go. The hostess is really sweet and funny!! We like seeing her smiley face when we come in. Great option for dinner in Eastland and and surrounding area.

Not the same as it was before covid. Went excited to get our usual dishes only to be told they aren't serving certain things. 5 minutes go by and we see what we were wanting to order, but we're told we couldn't, go to another table!!!

The beef fajitas were meat and onions. Rice and beans on the side..... No pico. No lettuce. No tomato. No sour cream. No guac. Just meat and onions. I was gonna tell the server but she was busy.... Won't be ordering that again!!

Always saw this place on the highway but never had the chance to stop until now. Maybe I was hoping for more. I enjoyed walking in and smelling the food. Ordered the Beef Fajitas for lunch. It was not bad but not what I was thinking it would be. Too much onions for me and not the caramelized soft ones but instead the halfway raw onions. Service was extremely poor, with no refill on chips, salsa, or beverages. After we received our food, we never saw our waitress until she dropped off the check. Overall, the experience was not what I expected. I was really hoping for so much more. Would I try it again? Maybe but not any time soon...

Interesting spot. So they didn’t have any al pastor street tacos which was very surprising (& my usual order). Instead I got the tamales 🫔 . On the menu it says you get 3, and the waitress told me I only get 2, when I tried to tell her which kind I wanted. And then there was 3 that came out… honest mistake I’m sure but I’m just noting it. And then there was some weird chili sauce all over the top of them. What a weird combination!! I’ve never had that before. And wasn’t the biggest fan of it either but I didn’t hate it. It was just kind of weird. I think the tamales themselves tasted good though. The rice and beans tasted great too. Then one more odd thing was that the bathrooms were located next to the entrance. Interesting spot overall lol. I probably would not come back personally but I don’t think it was the worst spot or anything bad!!

Queso was really good, wasn't too thrilled with my meal. It was almost like it was put into the microwave for too long. The enchiladas were hard and sauce was burnt, the beans tasted wrong, the rice was good. The fajitas were good and the taquitos were really good.

We still want Mama's food to be served. It will not be Pulido's without her food. Why use the name if you change the menu. It wasn't broke. Started eating there in 1970 and the food was constant till they closed in October 2023.

Food is mediocre and I will update when we go back. Service was pretty good. Wish they would refill salsa and drinks more often. Chairs are terrible for men. Just saying. Chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce was disappointing. Chicken is bland. Sour cream sauce tasted like nothing. Rice was bland. I won't comment on beans because I'm not a fan of refried beans at most tex mex places. Queso is great. 10/10 Ordered Papa plate and random bites were underseasoned or massive salt bombs. Was very odd. Chips that are set on the table are randomly so salty that it burned my tongue several times. Like they are re salting over and over in the same basket and some of the chips are coming out that have been salted several times. Very frustrating. Good salsa. They've got to figure out their seasoning. Also fix the parking lot please. It was terrible before the re opening.

Service was a bit rude the last time we visited. All I want in a waitress/waiter is just for them to be somewhat pleasant. I don't think that's asking too much.

The food wasn't worth the price. The service was lackluster. Some members of our party got the wrong food and it took a long time to get the food. We asking for salt & pepper multiple before actually getting it. Won't be back

Staff is sub-par, but most importantly the food was just bland. I understand that it's out in the middle of nowhere in Texas, but it's like people who haven't a clue what Mexican food is are the ones cooking here. Save your money/time and eat at La Hacienda down the road.

First off please dont call this mexican food. I'm from south texas ill show you mexican food. This is maybe texmex but leaning towards a very very expensive version of taco bell. The food is defenitely over priced, about 10 dollars for hard shelled tacos is way too much, add a drink and a tip and youre way out of budget for what you are getting. I would have been a lot happier with two 99 cent tacos from jack in the box then this. The only reason i gave it two stars is because the staff was very friendly, its not their fault the food aint great, they do their job, also the place looks nice and clean.

Great greeting when we arrived but it went downhill from there. The wait to be served was long and hit and miss when the server would come back around. The chips were all broken and the salsa was nothing more than tomato water with few peppers in it. The tacos al carbon were very bland with almost no taste other than the grease. The tacos jalisco my wife had were down right gross nothing more than dried meat in a greasy corn tortilla. The guac was already turning brown when it was served on our plates. Spent most of the visit fanning off the flies from our food. The only plus i can put down here was the pico was fresh and good.

The chicken enchiladas were so dry, and the waitress only came to the table once, and didn’t give us a refill. Their salsa also just tasted like spicy tomato sauce. Just wasn’t great, next time we will just go to la hacienda.

Well, normally this place is amazing, but today we showed up and the waitress was really rude and cutting us off when we ordered. Then the food was undercooked and cold. We asked to speak to a manager and she was very rude and had an attitude. Then the food came back and yet again it was poorly cooked and bland. Not sure what went wrong guys, hopefully it was a off day.

Their chips and salsa are really good, the food not so much. The enchiladas were good , but not the rice and beans. They tasted like old rotten beans and rice was worse. The meat chili on the enchiladas was still pink. I have been to other Pulidos and they've never tasted anything like that. The service on the other hand was superb. Our waiter was really nice and attentive.

Food was ok. Either the meat or the flúor tortillas had a weird taste. I would have been ok eating there even if it wasn’t as good as I have had at other mexican Restaurants, but there was a guy standing by the bar, he was probably the manager or the owner that kept staring at us while we ate, made me feel uncomfortable and ruches.

Haven't been to this place in over 30 years. I remembered that it was good food, so traveling through pretty late we decided to stop. I got Nachos and they were meh. Lacked flavor, but were better with salt. I will give it another try because it was pretty close to closing. Waitress forgot to bring my drink refill . . . Again maybe because closing time is hard. Bartender came and asked us if we were OK so that was nice.

Over priced food. I like the menu picture the food was kind of bland like taco bell. ALL AND ALL their food will make a poop I would eat here again but just for their chips and salsa the chips come out fresh and warm.

With the attitude that we received and then telling us that you forgot to put an order in. Telling us you don't know what is on your own menu and giving us the wrong orders. We will not be recommending this place to anyone.

BEWARE WHEN CHECKING OUT using a credit card. I usually leave a cash tip to help out the waitress and just put zero for tip when paying out. My card co notified me of a 34& 1/2% tip added to the card. Never had this happen at any other restaurant. No more Poledos for me!

The food was not great. The queso tasted like watered down velveeta. The parking lot was so small that I could barely get back out. I did not realize the parking lot does not circle around when I pulled in. The waitress was flakey as hell and couldn't remember 2 drinks to save her life. All around it was an awful, expensive experience, unfortunately. Would love to find a REAL mexican restaurant around here

Worst food I've ever had. Some friends suggested meeting here on our way to Granbury. I really wish they wouldn't have. The tortillas were awful, the beans tasted like water, and the rice had no flavor. The only edible items were the salsa and totopos. This restaurant serves Tex-Mex cuisine, not Mexican. They don't serve Horchata. Every authentic Mexican restaurant serves horchata and/or aguas. Highly recommend you avoid this place if you're looking for Mexican cuisine.

It’s misleading. It’s called Pulido’s Mexican Restaurant but it’s TexMex not Mexican food. We went in expecting carne asada and got ground beef instead. The burrito had too much cheese, in my opinion. The salsa wasn’t spicy either, and the tacos tasted like Taco Bell tacos. The waitress wasn’t friendly.

I must have ordered the wrong meal because it was not so good. The meat was dry and the cheese overwhelmed the dish. I wish I would have realized their nachos do not come with lettuce and tomatoes.

All I can say is yuck.. had high hopes for this place and was very disappointed. The worst thing about our experience was not only did the beans smell like cigarettes they also TASTED like cigarettes. Definitely would not recommend.

This is probably the worst restaurant I've ever ate. My enchiladas tasted like they came out of a can literally wolf brand chili in a can with rice and beans. The most Mexican thing about this Mexican restaurant was the Mexican coca cola other than that its straight trash I don't recommend 0 stars

unless you know the owner i wouldn’t go. couldn’t get any service and all of the food came out wrong. but when a group came in that knew the owner we were ghost. they’re lucky we didn’t dine and dash.

The restaurant was clean and our waiter was very friendly, but the food was terrible. Queso with beef had no flavor or spice, sour cream chicken enchiladas- chicken was dry with no flavor. It was like a big clump of shredded chicken. Horrible. My husband got enchiladas Ranchero and he said it was horrible with meat that looked like shredded roast beef. We will definitely not go back again.

I gave it 1 star because our waitress was very good & folks were friendly. But the food & tostadas tasted like they were fried & coated in old rancid oil. It left that taste in my mouth for several days. Maybe we just got in on a bad day.

The food was so bland. It was packed so we figured it would be delicious, not the case. Service was fine, price was fine, just so bland. The cheese dip tastes like water. The fajitas looked and tasted pre cooked like they threw it on a scorching hot plate for the "effect". The salsa is good tho!

All I can say is bad! We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for drink order to be taken We sat there for another 30-40 minutes waiting for food. The food wasnt anything to brag about.Salsa was plain. The nachos were extremely greasy. Chimmy was burnt, flavor was a 6/10. I would not recommend this place.

People around this area obviously don’t know what good Mexican food is. Didn’t have bad service but we were the only two people in there at the time so it’d be kind of hard to mess that up. From the chips all the way to tacos though, I’ve definitely tasted better. There is a Mexican restaurant on the other side of the interstate though that I would give a 3.5 star!

We met friends for dinner today. We had chicken fajita nachos and the other couple had deluxe nachos and everything tasted okay. Not long after we left everyone that was at our table was sick. Here we are about 4 almost 5 hours later still throwing up. This was my first and last time eating here.

After we were seated and had our drink order taken it took 15 minutes before the waitress ever came back to take our order. Then you would think that guacamole came with more than just squished avocados. But that is what I paid for was plain avocados. No onions no tomatoes no cilantro. Nothing. Then cheese enchiladas should have queso on them not sour cream sauce. Over all the margaritas were great but that's it.

Service is ok at best. The food comes out very very fast so fast in fact I'm pretty sure my refried beans came in a can and were microwaved and the ground beef was probably prepared first thing in the morning and used all day my food was barely warmer than room temp my wife's chicken enchiladas were made from chicken from a can with no added seasoning very bland we ordered a cup of queso was very watery and had no flavor. Just a terrible experience you should definitely pass this place up and go to the other side of the highway to La Hacienda

Mother in law lives here so we came to treat her. We have eaten at this one before it shutdown a few years ago. The food then was good. This one however lacks flavor. It’s bland at best if not just terrible. Ordered the Tacos Al Carbon(beef). You get three but they are small. Didn’t taste good at all. Rice and beans luke warm at best. They bring you the typical tomato sauce “hot sauce” with chips. It’s like actual tomato sauce. I asked for their “hot” one which is Salsa Verde. It’s thin and not even warm. After we paid(which was almost $60. For 3 of us plus $10.00 tip) we left. When we got home I asked my wife what she thought ( away from her mother). She immediately said it was gross. I agreed. She lives there so I’m sure she will go back, not us. Been nauseous ever since we got back home. I get this is a small town but y'all make like it that’s great. Maybe this is a fluke who knows…..wasn’t crowded for a Saturday afternoon……good luck!! Also the chips were bland and greasy. All in all save your money and health👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

If I could give zero stars I would! Was sat down in back corner and had 2 others walk in after us get served within 2min of them sitting. We sar for about 10min and no server came to our table! Horrible service! Can't rate the food because we didnt even served! HORRIBLE! There was terrible vibe even walking in! Highly DON'T RECOMMEND!
