Simplicity usually equals success... This place keeps it simple with it's menu and ingredients but that in turn is why their burgers are top notch and need to be tasted. My wife and I kept it simple...she had the Bacon/cheese and I had to taste their namesake burger, I had the hamburgeluna. They got it right from the start...the patties are juicy, plump, and have a nice blend of flavors. You can't have a burger place with bland patties.... everything else is just extra. But the extras were great additions....the buns are nicely toasted. The fries tasted homemade and had great seasoning on them. Personally I love sesame seed buns so that was a little extra touch to the burger. When I went with my wife it was late in the evening so there wasn't a large crowd. The place isn't the biggest BUT it feels homey and the customer service was quick and attentive. This is definitely one place where every item on the menu is worth trying....

The hamburgers were large and delicious. I loved the chili and cheese fries and the service was quick and helpful in selecting what we wanted to order. Totally recommend Hamburgelunas and will come back again.

If you want a good, old-fashioned grill top burger, then this is the place for you. These are the juiciest, best seasoned meat patties in the RGV! Add some extraordinary combos, such as fried egg, bacon, ham, guacamole, and some fresh veggies, and you’ve got the best burger for your hunger. Fresh cut French fried potatoes make a great combo! We highly recommend this family owned restaurant!

Hello folks this is the one stop burger shop. LOVE the burger, they’re juicy, huge and flavorful. We chose the frito pie burger with onion rings and fries. Taking the first bite reminds me of the old fashioned burger joints we used to go to when we were kids. You won’t be disappointed. Definitely we’ll be returning to try the other burgers offered. Probably the best burger in the RGV.

I had the mushroom Swiss burger and added grilled jalapeños, and it was absolutely amazing! The burgers here are truly top-tier—homemade quality and full of flavor. Our server, Noe, made the whole experience perfect. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

I’m still thinking about that burger! It was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they care about the quality of their ingredients, because every bite was packed with deliciousness. The atmosphere was super chill and relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal. Whether you're with friends or just grabbing a bite solo, it feels welcoming and comfortable. To top it all off, our server was genuinely kind and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that nails the food and the vibe, but this place delivered on all fronts. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!

4/3/24: I was looking online to see if there was anything about our area cuz I was hearing alot of sirens. When I stumbled upon HamburgeLunas, they were doing a report on hidden gems so I looked up on Google and I think it 4.9 on review which to me is hella good so I decided to try it. The burger was great it had a very nice taste to it. The fries were nice and crunchy. The service was great, the lady who attended us was nice a polite. It was a small place but it was quite and cool. Pro every thing was good even there jalapeno poppers. Con it's is too far from were we live at.

First visit. Sorry to report I did not finish my burger. It was so huge!!! The fries were spectacular and they have aside from the regular can drinks, they have Mexican sodas and fresh lemonade. Definitely will return for another burger.

Definitely lived up to all the hype, great sized burgers 😇 got the bacon and cheese burger but added pineapple😍 I am the biggest fan of pineapple 🍍 any place that has pineapple as an add on I have to go! Pineapple itself was grilled but not dry at all and still held its moist and pineapple flavor, very difficult thing for most restaurants to accomplish because they either dry it out and serve it hard. This place managed to keep the pineapple in its amazing state. Fries were delicious! I am certainly picky with my fries and taste, the salt is crushed so those pieces you get with your fries compliment them so well 🍟 we got the hot loaded fries (fries,hot Cheetos and bacon and cheese) but I wanted them to be separated and they accommodated me with no problem! They put my hot Cheetos on the side, the fries with no cheese and no bacon 😇 I also got extra pineapple slices on the side 😎 for the other order we got the hamburgerluna, jalapeño poppers (2), 1 Mexican coke, 1 brisk drink. My only complaint would be that the patty needed a tad more flavor, maybe more seasoning? But delicious none the less 🤤 Total: $29.66 Overall this place is a place I’d definitely go back for a delicious burger and sides🍍❤️ certainly the place to be on a cold day ✨

WOW! Best burgers we've had in a long time. My husband and I both had the popper burger, I subbed mine for chicken! So good! Great service too!

Once on my brothers birthday they gifted him a brownie and ice cream (made his day, he’d been wanting to eat a burger from there) Overall, definitely recommend!

Ordered two pastor burgers, they failed to let us know they’re out of pineapple, spicy mayo and the salsa included in the burger. Would’ve been nice to know BEFORE waiting 20 minutes, that’s the whole point of the pastor burger. Ridiculous. Used to give way more fries too. Used to love this place but for the price I’ll go somewhere else!
