First time here at this wonderful modern-ish restaurant. Past by this restaurant several times and finally dove in. Was definitely NOT disappointed. Absolutely great food, really great service and absolutely amazing atmosphere. Truly tasteful food, absolutely incredible flavor in every bite. Amazingly fresh food for the hour of the day that my wife and I went. I truly can not brag enough about this place. Reasonably priced as well.

I honestly can't find a negative thing to write about this location. There's a few negative reviews on here but...it's about my experience right? First things first... practically all the seating is outdoors. I loved the ambience of the place...there's different types of chairs/benches to sit on. Whether you're on a date, with your family, or flying solo, they have a spot for you. Some people have complained about the wait...we went when no one was there and the food came out within 10 mins so no complaints. We ordered the basics...tacos and tostadas; the menu is fairly simple. We started off with their charro beans... delicious! The beans were flavorful and the perfect start to whet the appetite. The tacos came next and I don't know about the local food trucks down the street, but save your gas. If you read that maybe chicken tacos take longer to cook...maybe order something besides chicken tacos...just a thought? Not to mention their bistec tacos are well worth it! The tacos LOOKED appetizing and tasted just how they looked... amazing. They provided us with 3 different salsas...the perfect complements to the tacos. They also have aguas frescas....I ordered the cucumber mint and it was refreshing with just the right amount of sweet mintiness. I high recommend it.... Our service was also good...you place the order inside and they bring you the order wherever you sit outside. Only possible downside to this place is it's outside...so it'll be affected by the weather, so go when it's a beautiful night with your loved one and you'll enjoy the perfect tacos with them like I did.

The bright red “Old Chicago” neon sign is like a beacon guiding the hungry to this restaurant. A bit off the beaten path but well worth checking out. Get there early since their parking is kinda limited. We tried their Beef/Bistec Syncronizada and it was really tasty. The beef was soft and juicy. The melted white cheese was portioned perfectly and complemented the beef flavor. The HUGE flour tortilla was toasted just right. We also had their loaded Baked Potato. Both items were delicious. We’ll go back and try other items for sure. Definitely recommend!

Love the vibe here. Only wish they had adult beverages to hang out a little more on the patio, but I think they're working on making that happen. The food was delicious. Tacos and chorizo fondido was tasty. Being able tonwrap your tacos with lettuce instead of tortilla was a unique option that also felt like a healthy choice. I had a smoothie to drink which was also very tasty full of blueberries, strawberries and mango. I wish their hours were earlier so I could grab a smoothie in the morning. Others tried the lemonade mixes they had but stated that they were too sweet. Overall it wasn't a must-try dish that made this review, but the ambiance of hanging out on the patio with the neon lights, fire+water fountain, and great service. I'd come back just to hang out on this patio again 😃

Tacos are really good! We loved how cool this place is, the container is awesome! They have outdoor chairs and tables, can't wait to get some tacos on fall season haha, the guy who took our order was really unfriendly, he gave us really bad customer service BUT THE TACOS ARE GREAT AND THE PLACE TOO. I'll just ignore the service until next time.

It was a wonderful experience we loved the food. My boyfriend brought me here on national girlfriend day. He was even impressed with how clear the ice was and he said even the ice tasted great. Thank you! It was a wonderful experience!

I loved it here. It’s such a nice concept. Food is great. I had fish tacos. I wish they had adult drinks. But overall it’s a good place to eat.

Quick stop because we were walking nearby. Probably half their customers haha. Pretty juicy and gave lots of meat. Tacos took a while to come out (10 minutes) for there being almost nobody there... but not that big of a deal. Would come back!

I felt like the food longer than I should because when we got there we were the only customers but our food took long. The flies are a huge problem.

Corn tortillas not oiled before serving, beans were excellent and the baked potato requires at least 2 people Ample outside seating! Only lacking brewskies.. maybe more parking

So I'd recommend bringing off of you come. Now the staff is amazingly sweet, but they did get our order wrong. The food was ... okay. The sincronizada was the only decent thing we ordered. (We ordered hot dog, sincronizada, baked potato, birra tacos) It feels as if they try to be uppity and prices are a little steeper than the usual taco place, which I don't mind paying more for, but there isn't much love in the food.

Ok so why I did two they were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived we ordered to go and explained everything great to us . Once we got our order we realized we wasn’t satisfied with our food as some items were over cooked , our beans were half empty and our loaded potatoes were dry with a chipotle sauce . The company did reach out but instead of a apology they said we tainted the food for entertainment purposes which is a very strange claim to make

Came in with the desire to try what looks like very delicious food with a nice cold beer. I was disappointed that only they serve Bud Light beer and Michelob light . Had to turn around. Please get some other types of beer that go better with your establishment. Maybe some craft beers. We'll come back in a couple of months to see if the beer selection has improved. Looking forward to our next visit!

These tacos are no where close to a traditional taco. First and last time ordering from here, left me with an upset stomach. El matador has better quality then this place, but will continue to make the drive to Brownsville to eat better tacos. If you haven't already try Mr. Taco.
