My kids love the egg and cheese Kolaches. I have a love-hate relationship with the cranberry muffin. I keep coming back to it, so.......

I'm obsessed with their kolaches and eat here like 3 times a week. 10/10

Texas hot was spicey, but not too much for my spicy-sensitive friend. My only complaint is that the kolaches sit for a while, so they had to reheat them when I ordered. My friend is hooked on your pastries, well me as well. The staff is great, everyone is very helpful. We call and have an order filled and they do a great job taking care of our needs. The shop is very clean, well stocked in all areas of the store. The pastries are awesome, fresh of course; the look & taste of your pastries are really great. I wish we had one a bit closer to where we live. We Come this side of town once a month. But come back before then when we had to feed our audition of Pastries. Thanks for feed us all are well eaten. I had the Hot Polish for breakfast and decided to buy the Cheeseburger for lunch. They both were filling and delicious! The Kolache's were freshly baked. I would add a photo, but I was hungry and just couldn't wait to eat. I actually wanted to go pick up another Cheeseburger! I highly recommend this place, oh and it's super inexpensive. I ate Breakfast and lunch for $7.50! Now that's my kind of restaurant.

Honestly one of my favorite food places in the city. I mainly go for breakfast, but they have such an impressive variety. The staff is always so friendly. Bacon egg and cheese is classic for breakfast, and the croissants are so flakey and buttery. BBQ brisket is one of my favorite lunch ones, but creamy spinach is really good too.

This place is AWESOME !!! The Kolache's are EXCELLENT and the staff, let's just give them ALL a big👍

Kolaches are really good. Service is hit or miss. There’s a really friendly lady there that always provides really good service. Honestly impeccable service. But there’s a gentleman there that just doesn’t provide the same service. I get so grossed out when he puts his hand into the bag to open the bag. Once he sneezed on his hand and then proceeded to opening the bag by putting his hand inside. I was so grossed out I threw the kolaches away. Update** company reached out and is correcting the way they open TO GO bags!

The Menu is not very clear but the kolaches are good tasting. I will definitely go again.

The food is always a delight to have , I just wish there was a better way to let the consumer know what items are what when they are taken home, instead of breaking them apart to know what each item is, maybe a toothpick flag attached with each item ?

I'm obsessed with some of the Kolaches this place has. It stinks, however, when they ran out of a product and didn't prepare beforehand and it's the only thing you wanted and they wont have anymore ready for 40-60 minutes. That needs to change.

Great service, great taste will come back. My only concern is that they need to add more cheese to the bacon and cheese kolache and more mushroom to the pepperoni and mushroom kolache.

I love them bacon and egg! They should make one closer to my city cause by the time I make it to mcallen there is not that much of the ones I like

I have been there twice. The first time, I found the place on Google and asked a friend from Mc Allen to take me. A young man was at the counter. It was a Tuesday around 11:00 am. I bought the cream cheese, apricot, strawberry Kolaches, the young man gave me the bread in a box since I told him I was going to travel and I wanted them to go. Three weeks later, I return to find an old Hispanic man behind the counter. He was not only rude but it was almost as he wanted me to hurry up and leave. It was around the same time as before (11: am) but it was Palm Sunday; he wanted me to buy coffee or an iced drink, I also told him I was going to travel (GOING To South Padre island) but he gave me the kolaches in regular paper bags even though I had told him in advanced that the last time I was there I had the kolaches in a box because I was traveling. The kilaches are good, tasty and soft. I like the food but the second time I went, I didnt like the service. I will not be making the trip again. I will not return to this place because of the service, even though the first time it was good.

I thought I would give a third try but I think this is going to be it for me? darn and I used to look forward to my Sunday kolaches.. okay I'm adding to my comment I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed, after getting these home cooking them and opening them up! I discovered that it's a meatball not a burger and if you think it's going to look like that picture up on the wall you're going to be disappointed, there's like very little filling in these kolaches now it's nothing but bread. I definitely discourage the purchase of the cheeseburger because it is disgusting, I threw it away it was soggy and the bread was like no way where you're going to be able to get it cooked enough to make it platible I guess nobody does taste testing or checks quality anymore

If you're in the mood for a good kolache, do yourself a favor and pass on this place. The food is mediocre at best.

How do you have no breakfast items and open for breakfast but only have lunch items ready and on a FRIDAY!? Make it make sense! So very frustrating and it is time consuming….

I feel they are rude and possibly racist because they were nice to white people with money but not me and I'm tan like a regular Latino. I was very patient with them both times I have gone and they try to make me feel stupid they shouldn't be in business at all. If they can't provide good customer service they are in the wrong industry.

The cashier was a tall guy with glasses.... he was acting like he hates his life. I think you guys need to help him with counseling sessions. He's making customers uncomfortable 😐 He didn't even warm up the kolaches or offer to. I love this pace but it feels very uncomfortable with the service.

(for the wrong reasons of course) I'm not a doctor but would suggest lots of hugs (not by me) and/or animal companion therapy ( I hear there is an outfit in Oregon that works with descented skunks). The sadness is that management was made aware of this issue a year ago, 4 weeks ago, and now again. I have been patronizing this place since inception and today was the worst visit all along; and before I forget "the tall lady in the back" Oh my! we dared ask for ketchup, yes, ketchup.....I believe this request will live in infamy, perpetually...whoever comes to this establishment, please, do not ask for ketchup...there is mustard, mayo, hot sauce, etc.....but no ketchup so you been warned. I rest my case caveat emptor

I wanted to try something different I went right know at 1:15 pm waisted 40$ on every kolache there was just to try them out, over priced for very little meat inside too much bread, Sorry to say it was horrible and they were cold when I asked them to be heated the ugly thing is that they heat them up in the microwave which kinda thru me off. Sad to say will never go back!

The employee there let me know of the change and she said that a lot of customers were complaining about no cheese . She says it has cheese, but very little. If it did have cheese, I could not tell. Also, the taste is different. One of the main reasons I go there was the Texas hot. I will not be going there anymore. If the old version of the Texas hot comes back. I will come back. The employees in that store are great they give excellent customer service.

I think instead of making the decision always offer a refund. They were trying to rush out bc they were 15 min before closing. It’s not about the money just customer service…. Felt like they were just trying to clock out.

So sad to be writing a bad review.Tall guy with glasses, did not even greet us, and provided horrible customer service to the point where I did not feel comfortable being there. We asked if he was okay since he seemed very unhappy to be there, he replied sarcastically and continued to make uncomfortable comments. The way he was behaving was extremely concerning and scary - like he was about to snap. I hope you all talk to him and get to the root of the problem in sake of the business and the poor guys health. :(

Or was it a racial thing since me and my wife were speaking Spanish? Regardless. I work at an automotive dealership in town and will definitely not recommend this place whatsoever. Do better.
