While searching for ramen, we came across a Japanese sushi restaurant. It was great to see they had a nice ambiance with lots to check out, but of course, we went for the ramen. I loved the Shio Ramen with corn, my favorite topping for ramen and my friend tried the Tonkotsu. It was absolutely worth it for dinner. So delicious and server is nice!

Really good sushi, and super affordable prices! Love the 50% off menu items - I ordered the California roll and Crunchy roll. I ate here twice in the past week. I came here a few days ago with my family members and ordered a couple appetizers, and they were very good as well. I think this is going to become my go-to place when it comes to sushi!

This place is hidden in the shopping center. I didn't even know it was here. We shared the 3 roll lunch combo. We had a lot left. It easily could have fed 3-4 people. The food was good, the service was also good, no wait to sit and the food came out on a timely manner in a cool sushi boat. For 2 of us, $35 total plus a tip. No too bad.

Great sushi and awesome service. Their presentation is especially impressive and you can tell they've put a lot of thought into their menu. We had the seared salmon and volcano rolls, both of which were fantastic.

This is a great spot for sushi rolls, Ramen and cold beer. The oysters are always awesome (if you catch them when they're in stock, they go fast) Fire of Love roll is a favorite

I love AHI! Sushi is always fresh and delicious! Service is great and the staff is friendly! I have been coming here for over 20 years and always have a great experience! My favorite rol is the cherry blossom roll and the tuna tacos are amazing!

Loved this place, it's very cozy and the service is great. The sushi was delicious and id recommend getting the tofu shitake soup for starters, it's a small soup that is rich and salty. I will be coming back.

Great sushi in an unassuming no-frills shopping center. Terrific hand rolls here, highly recommended!

Service is prompt. Food is fresh. I liked the garlic chicken, it had lots of fresh vegetables and a tangy sauce with garlic, which reminded me a little of Indo Chinese food. The sushi is fresh here too. The tofu and mushroom soup had overbearing soya sauce flavor. I was expecting something more balanced and light. Service is great, we forgot to take our leftover boxes but they kept it aside and we got them back once we came back (in 10 mins)

We had an extremely friendly and attentive server named Linda. The portions are hearty and the prices are better than expected. They offer a coupon for a free California Roll with a minimum purchase. The Spicy Edaname was okay, a little more firm than we like. Garlic chicken dinner special was flavorful. The Vegetable Ramen was filling. Lots of noodles, but could have more vegetables. The Spicy Miso Ramen was flavorful. As for the atmosphere, there is adequate seating. The lighting in the evening is a bit on the dark side and there is a prominent fish odor as you walk through the door. The majority of our party would dine here again.

There are very few "good" sushi houses in East County with Japanese staff doing the traditional ways. Ahi does traditional with a twist. Beautiful presentations, fresh ingredients and tasty renditions. I'll be back!

I picked up for dinner for the first time and was a little disappointed in both the quality of the food and how long it took. I called in and was told it would take 30 minutes. I went in after 35 and ended up waiting another 15 before the food was ready. They were busy so I understand the wait. The food was edible and I didn’t get sick or anything, but the fish tasted old/some pieces were extra fishy. I’m not sure if it was sitting out for a while or just was lower quality. I would go here again but only for the lunch special/happy hour.

I only get sushi once in a while and really look forward to the treat, so for it to be like this was very disappointing. The staff was nice and prompt. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. Used to be great years ago... ordered the Ahi Bridge combo for anniversary lunch. $44 for a bunch of rice topped with maybe 4-6oz fish total

The rice was clearly not fresh at all, the tempura was just awful and impossible to chew, and the whole thing was drowned in mayonnaise, making it totally inedible. The wasabi was dry and obviously left out too long, and while the service was okay, the food was just unacceptable. I honestly couldn’t even eat it.

Only if there was a NO star! I have NEVER smelled or tasted sushi that was this bad! I ordered 3 rolls and one salad. It was on my way back home from work and From the first bite, it was all throwing in the trash! Fish looked so OLD and gross! I am also reporting this to the health department! Very very bad! These places should be closed down immediately or will get people sick! Terrible .
