10/10 Experience with Tyler! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tyler was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we were seated, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly and on time. Our drinks were always refilled, our questions were answered with confidence, and he checked in just the right amount without ever feeling intrusive. Tyler’s positive energy and professionalism truly elevated the entire experience. If you’re lucky enough to have Tyler as your server, you’re guaranteed an outstanding meal. Give this man a raise!

Everything was so yummy!! We got 6 different meals and drinks and everything was perfect! The paradise pomegranate margarita was my favorite. Our server Jeff W was great and made our dining experience fantastic!

Parked up to what I thought would be an immense wait, instead I was promptly seated after a quick queue, at a full size booth nonetheless. My server Kelsey swung by swiftly and was super sweet and friendly. She hit the nail explaining the specials, and *even got me refills through my meal.* At one point the manager came over to greet me, his name was Jesse, I could tell he was great with customers with on the ball thinking as a couple servers needed delegation. Food was great: burger, chicken, pizookie. Prefect night out for myself.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like I had to this time. It was my first time at BJ’s, and my server, Avery, made the experience so great. She was sooo friendly, patient, and helpful, especially since I had no idea what to order. She took the time to explain things and made us feel really welcome. Her service honestly made the whole visit better. Will definitely be returning!!

Our server, Jeff, was amazing — he gave us awesome recommendations, was super attentive, and had such a personable vibe. Came to celebrate my little sister’s championship game! Michael was an amazing server! He was funny, charismatic, provided great service. The wings were delish and of course the pazookie! They’re open until 12:00 am and the beers are so good!! Definitely will be back for a late night bite.

The shrimp scampi pas was totally overcooked. Pasta overcooked, shrimp overcooked. It didnt taste fresh either. I couldnt finish it. Dubai chocolate pizookie was way lower than the expectation. Only the cookie was good.

BJ’s La Mesa was surprisingly quiet for an evening, which should have been a good sign. The appetizer dumplings and calamari were actually very tasty — credit where credit is due. Unfortunately, that’s where the consistency ended. My main dish (salmon with rice and broccoli) was a bit of a culinary adventure… and not in a good way. The rice was sticky, clearly not fresh, and tasted like it had been reheated — unevenly. Parts were barely warm, others just sad. The sauce had a “funny” taste that didn’t exactly inspire confidence. I ended up eating only the salmon and broccoli, which thankfully were fine. The burger tasted good. What really elevated the experience (and by elevated, I mean puzzled) was the service. Our server didn’t check on us after the food arrived. When she finally came to clear the plates, I mentioned the rice. Her response: “Oh, let me bring this to the manager’s attention and we’ll see what we can do.” She disappeared for about 15 minutes, returned with a dessert menu… and somehow forgot to mention anything about the rice. Impressive memory skills. Desserts were okay. Overall, food quality feels very hit or miss, and the service unfortunately leaned more toward miss. I really wanted this to be better — but consistency and follow-through seem to be optional here.

It was my first time at this Bjs and it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the strawberry salad and a bowl of tortilla soup and it was just no good. The salad was so mid it’s not worth the 20 something dollars. I only had 3 slices of strawberries in mine; however, the tortilla soup was the worst! Looked like diarrhea in a bowl. The chicken was non existent. If anything it was more like tiny floating particles of left over chicken. It looked like they didn’t even bother to cut up avocado. They just threw a small glob of stringy old looking Avocado at the bottom of the soup that was so un appetizing I attached the picture so you could see what I’m talking about. $10 for this absolutely not!!! The waitress took around 5 to 10 minutes to even show up at our table when we were first sat down. She didn’t really stop by our table to check up on us so we went without refills of Water until the end. We had to hunt her down to get the check. I don’t understand why this establishment has so many good reviews. Maybe the chicken wings are good? I don’t know, but We spent close to $90 for Sysco Tasting food and the nastiest so-called tortilla soup I have ever had. If I could say one good thing about it is the broccoli cheddar soup in the bread bowl was the only redeeming thing that we ordered but it’s like $13. Our Pizzokie Was so burned at the bottom it tasted bad. For the price, I would recommend going somewhere else.

Me and my boyfriend went 12/30/25 around 8pm. We set a reservation for 8:30 and we got in sooner than expected which was nice. Our server was very kind even though she was busy and was very helpful with everything that was going wrong. We ordered boneless wings as our appetizer which were good and filling. For entrees, my boyfriend ordered a ribeye MEDIUM WELL with the roasted veggies (do not recommend) and loaded mashed potatoes and I ordered the smokehouse burger WELL DONE with chili and a child size fry on the side. We waited a good minute for our food after our appetizer had came and we finished it. When it did come, both of our items were not cooked to what we asked for. The ribeye was bright red and my 'well done burger' was red as well. We asked for both items to be remade and waited even longer for them to come out. When the steak came out, it was cooked better but did not taste good. It was very burnt on the outside. Literally all you could taste was like the burnt charred outside. This plate is a 34$ plate for a ribeye that didn't even taste good so we were pretty upset about that but we let it slide which I'm now regretting that we did. My burger didn't come for about another 10 minutes and ended up being more red than the one from before?? At that point, we just cancelled the burger because we were frustrated. I'm honestly unsure how it came back worse than the first time when all I wanted was for it to be well done. I work in a restaurant as well and if someones order isn't correct you should be triple checking that the food is right the second time. I also never got the frys i ordered on the side either but we were tired of it. We also ordered a dubai chocolate pizookie that was burnt, the ice cream is the only thing that was saving it from being disgusting. It was so disappointing for my first time here and it being almost $100 that we spent. We only spoke to a manager once for the steak and I feel we honestly should've been more upset with them about our food. The restaurant was also full of teenagers trying to get the $5 pizzokies so definitely don't recommend coming on tuesday :/

Ordered food for delivery, a large pizza and a pizookie. The both arrived burnt to a crisp. The food is not edible and I am very surprised that the kitchen staff would allow such horrible food to be served to any customer. Extremely disappointing to say the least. I am a beer club member and frequent custom but normally eat in the restaurant. I have never been served anything so terrible during my visits there in the past. I am now ordering from another restaurant so that my family can eat while we pass out Halloween candy.
