Oh wow! One of the best pizzas we have ever had. Exceptional service, great prices, and it took about 15 min to get our order. It's now in the top 5 for us must order when you get that "I want pizza" feeling. You will not be disappointed!

This is one of our favorite pizza places in East County! The pizza is delicious, the prices are very affordable, and the customer service is excellent. We love ordering the "Dinner for Two" (a medium pizza, a salad, and two drinks). They deliver for free within 2.5 miles which is another great perk. The customer service here is phenomenal - I've ordered over the phone and in the store, and every time have been impressed with how accommodating and friendly the staff is!

New to the neighborhood and was looking for a local non-chain pizza place. This place is just a couple blocks away and had great reviews and prices so I gave it a shot and was not disappointed! Loved the softness of the thick crust I ordered and am already excited to come back to give the calzone and wings a try! Also, the online app made ordering a breeze. Ordered, got a pick-up time and received a call my order was ready to the minute. Walked in, grabbed my pie from the friendly staff and was out the door. Definitely will be coming back!

Small pizzeria that stocks an unbelievable amount of non-alcoholic teas and beverages. The pizza isn't bad either. I had the 5 cheese pizza which was great as they handed it to me less than a minute after it came out of the over. Nice and hot and delicious! Definitely going back to try another one. Looks like the place is family owned and they value their customers. Go check it out.

Expect a beautiful spirit of welcome in this place! 😍 Each customer is treated well even with customized orders. Substitutions may be allowed. Just ask for what you want, and accommodations will be made if at all possible! No public restroom. There is no table dining. Only takeout or free delivery provided. Pizza is even served by the slice! This is a nice grab 'n go lunch place! ✔️💯🎯😁

People there were so friendly. Even though they were busy they still helped me carry my order to my car. The food was great. Could taste every ingredient. We ordered the lasagna, a large pizza with pineapple, a slice of cheesecake and a cannoli. I'm so happy we finally found a pizzeria!!!

My husband and I, absolutely love Monavala Pizza. The Staff puts passion into everything they cook. You can tell they genuinely want to give you the best of quality, so everything is cooked to perfection. The wings are always a must, and their Philly Cheesteak Pizza (well done, give thes cheese the extra stretch). By far the best in town, won't disappoint!

Best pizza in east county! Sooo good. Pizza is always consistent, flavorful, and they are generous with the ingredients. They are friendly and quick. It really is so good that it's hard to order from anywhere else. One drawback...I wish they had a nice sit down location. The pizza is so good that it would be nice to enjoy as full service with drinks 😁

This pizza place knocked Dominoes out of the saddle. Lately I've been unable to handle pizza , but that wasn't the case here . It was delicious . It didn't hurt my stomach . And they delivered . Great choice with not too much more in costs. Try it you'll like it!!

I ate here for the first time and got their 5 cheese pizza and their Greek salad, and I am sooo pleased I did. The pizza was so good and I can’t believe I have never ordered from here before. I will never get pizza from a chain restaurant again. It was legit brag worth and I never write reviews. I can’t wait to bring my sister here this weekend to try it. Highly highly reccomend and the price is right and I love the family run atmosphere. Also, their salad was amazing, didn’t skimp of the toppings at all and was a very very very good price.

Amazing pizza!!! The sauce was loaded with flavor. The toppings delicious. We ordered for our office and have some vegans. The pizza without cheese was as good as the pizza without cheese. The salad was crisp and fresh and the delivery was timely. Great customer service!!!!

Ordered three pizzas, all we're great. Speciality Pizza, a White Pizza and good old Pepperoni. Nice family owned pizzeria with free delivery. I used Doordash but next time, straight through the restaurant. They gave fast and friendly service. My new favorite. Very friendly staff who remember you if you go in :)

Pizza was great, especially compared to the usual go-tos for people. Cheese Ravioli was delicious, and the raviolis were huge! Their sauce is a bit sweet so it complimented the filling well. But by far the BEST THING WE ORDERED WERE THE CANNOLIS. We got two CANNOLIS and it was NOT enough. The flaky crust was delicious and the pastry was clearly handmade. The filling was sweet but not overpowering and the ratio of the chocolate chips was just *chefs kiss* 10/10 would order again. Maybe even just for more cannolis.

We tried this local business on Valentines Day. What an amazing experience. They were so nice and accommodating. The heart shaped pizza was great! All the food was delicious. I'm a regular and the pizza and wings are always awesome. In regards to some of the reviews about timing and delivery, it's a small locally owned shop that offers free local delivery at a low price. They aren't one of the massive chains, the pizza is worth the wait honestly. They're both always so friendly and helpful. Side note, if you want to order online, go through the Slice app and save them money on fees.

I've been looking for another pizza place to use as my regular spot. I have been wanting to try Monavala for a few weeks. I was in the area so I dropped in to get a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and check the place out. I had a seat and waited for my sandwich, he said it would be about 15 minutes. I could tell when he started making my sandwich because it smelled so good. I was facing their wall to wall refrigerators with a huge selection of sodas and drinks and saw the reflection of my sandwich going into the oven. Yum. When it was done they cut it in half and showed me before closing the box and bagging it up. The two people working there were very nice and asked if it was my first time. I said I'd be back to get pizza next time and she said to try the wings as well. I snarfed that sandwich down right in the parking lot. I wish I had thought to snap a photo but the sandwich was gone in no time. The onions, peppers, mushrooms and steak was cooked perfectly. The cheese was nice and melted. The bread was hot and soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. Perfect! Best darn Philly cheese steak I've had in a long time. I'll be back!

This is, hands down, the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life!!! Not only was the service AMAZING but the food beat my expectations by MILES!!! I would drive 45 minutes just to get the service and the food!!! Chicken wings included! The owners treated my daughter as if she was family! I pray that this business succeeds!!! The food here was fantastic, and the portions are huge! Make sure you are hungry when you walk in, and plan to leave with a to-go box (or share with a friend). Because of the location, the restaurant has the "mom and pop" feel, which I love in an establishment. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable, but that may be a good business decision. They have a very small dining area, so they need you to eat and get your butt out of the seat so they can feed the next customer and stay in business. From what I saw while we were there they do a really sizeable amount of takeout business. That's reassuring, because I am planning on going back, and I would like them to still be there.

This was my first time at this place. Not sure I will go back. The food was just ok. They did have some gluten free options (which was good as one of our party needed them). The guy that took our order worked with us to make sure the gluten free pizza was indeed gluten free. The portions are huge, so I suggest sharing. The "small" calzone could have fed 3 people. The biggest complaint was that the food did not all come out together. Everyone in my party got their food and was mostly done eating by the time my ravioli came out. I could see my food sitting on the counter for several minutes before anyone brought it to the table. Side note: there are only 2 tables inside the restaurant and 1 outside. They can only accommodate about 8-10 people if they all get cozy.

Very friendly staff, the pizza was ok i do love the crunchy crust. They have a huge selection of sodas. I’m a little disappointed that the wings I ordered you can totally see the freezer burn on them truthfully I don’t think I’ll return back and won’t be recommending my family or friends to this place.

Reviews were good so I thought I would try the chicken parmesan sandwich. The few simple questions I had proved to be overwhelming for the staff members because I was given a regular chicken sandwich that was about half the size of anything I would buy from a real Italian restaurant. I left before they "fixed" my order, which was offering the marinara and mozzarella on the side so I could put it together myself.

This was one of the saddest pizzas I have ever had. I spent 80 bucks with a tip and received two boxes of uncooked dough and warm cheese and veggies. This is the first and last time i order from this place. The guy on the phone had the nerve to tell me that everyone loves his pizza and doesn’t know how to help me. Really….how about an apology to start. It was a total rip-off. Ironically my wife spent 16 bucks at little caesars and you know what that pizza was better than this sloppy mess. What a disappointment.

Delivered cold nasty pizza and chicken wings that look like they were freezer burnt. Stay away. Threw all of it in the trash!!
