Opinions de A-Town Diner El Camino Real
There food is good here & you get big servings & the prices are fair. If you remember the old Virgil Burgers on El Camino Rl. In atown. They still use the old recipes they even have the original 1950's Virgil Burger. I got that tonight it was so good. I highly recommend this place for a really good meal. The hours have changed & there now open until 8pm. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Great breakfast! Our server Ana was great & friendly, the food was delicious and there were great options for kids as well. We really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back.
I've been coming to the A-Town Diner for many years. This review is long overdue. The food is always fantastic! Service is above par! And the diners atmosphere is very nice in its retro feel.
Food was good, the carrot cake was absolutely delicious. Friendly service, not overly crowded but steady. Seemed popular with locals. Only issue I had was no one was wearing masks but since it isn't mandated in Atascadero very few wore masks any where.
Great diner with a variety of food options. Great service, big portions even on the half salad!
If your looking for a memorable dining experience then look no further! The A-Town diner was s wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anybody. Between delicious foods and drinks, excellent customer service and reasonable prices and a warm family atmosphere it was a fantastic diner to discover.
I have been here a few times now. Wonderful food. HUGE portions. It has a very lovely hometown feel. The burgers are very very good. And I stare down the desserts everytime I'm in here. Definitely a great place to swing in for lunch and have some leftover for dinner.
As someone who grew up in Atascadero I have been a loyal patron of this establishment for many years. These days I ride my Harley 50 miles to enjoy the wonderful service and incredible food. If you've had a better chicken fried steak I'm willing to bet it was made for you by a loved one. I consider it a blessing that after everything which has transpired in the last year to still be able to visit and stuff my belly to my heart's content.
A-Town is our favorite locally owned restaurant to eat at! Everything is wonderful. Our favorites are The French Toast, The Ultimate BLT, & their Black & Tan Onion Rings. My oh my they wonderful! I really like that I can bring my family of 3 here to eat for the same cost as going through a drive thru, but we get a home cooked meal. The portions are large and the service is so friendly. It’s a place where everyone knows your name and your regular order. A-Town is #1 hands down!
A-Town Town Diner is exactly that a diner. It has everything you need to be a diner, and it serves it up well. I recommended for breakfast and lunch, and it's popular for all three meals with everybody. I guess I just use diners for breakfast and lunch myself, but don't let my habit slow you down rumor has it the dinners are pretty nice as well. Anyway quality breakfast, quality lunch, we're happy every time, and my son loves his place so I have to keep coming back and coming back. It's worth it
Classic American diner. The decorations were cool and very retro/vinyl. Good place to stop and get some American food. I loved the sweet potato fries! The service staff was also very nice here!
Consistently good. Dinner, Breakfast are our favs. Order anything, all the menu items are delicious and presentation is superb, great staff and the owner sat down with us on numerous occasions just to visit. Super lady! Love it. Worth the drive up from Los Osos/Morro Bay area. We go often. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
After moving to Atascadero I've tried many restaurants. And have been left so so disappointed. BUT I finally got the chance to get food at Atown Diner and honestly THE BEST FOOD! They definitely know what they are doing here! So so good! Will forever recommend them from now on! (I work at a hotel doing the front desk, daily asked about local good food) Finally found a restaurant that seasons their food! And their peanut butter pie is to die for!!! 😍 10 out of 10! Will definitely be going back!
Awesome service, attentive staff, great food. We go there a few times a month and I enjoy trying different things on the menu. The Ultimate BLT is one of my favorite sandwiches, really top notch. The Cobb salad is good too!
A retro themed diner of the 50's and 60's. Had two breakfasts there during my visit to Atascadero. Both very good. I especially liked that the condiments were full and the tables were nicely set
This last time i came to the diner they made a small mistake and seated us after the kitchen was closed unknowingly. They were so incredibly sweet about it. They gave us a gift card and we came back the next day! For 30 dollars we got enough food for 2 meals! And it was great. (Please do yourself a favor and get onion rings and/or mozzarella sticks)
Great service. Waiters constantly checking that food was okay and coffee was filled. I had the biscuit with gravy which was hearty, warm and delicious. My husband had a homemade Belgian waffle that he also loved. Very affordable menu.
I have been coming here off and on for around 2 years. It now is almost a given to head here for breakfast on the way up north to Paso and beyond. The dinner is pretty no frills from the visual perspective but don’t let that fool you. Food is always on point and consistent. Also good portions as well. My favorite is the Ortega chili omelette (without the olives). So good. What is your new favorite there?
Absolutely delicious food, fast service, and wonderful staff. Definitely will come again
We absolutely love this place! Their Virgil burgers are DELICIOUS and so are their onion rings!! The staff is always super nice and friendly. Great family environment or for a group of friends. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! 👍 👍 Fine holiday fun! 🎉
Great menu, great food, responsive staff. Wonderful nightly specials. The salads are large and very filling - lots of items loaded on. They have gluten free bread to substitute for their other breads and it's very good. So glad we discovered this place and realized that the seed for this restaurant was Virgil's Burgers, which I used to go to in the 80's. Down right great food and very satisfying. Pleases the pickiest eaters (I've taken some there and they were very happy).
Great service and food! The portions were unexpectedly large, so no need to worry about getting filled up. We witnessed a rude customer while we were there. The staff handled the situation very professionally. We will definitely be eating here if we pass through this area again. Keep up the good work A-Town!
Have always had great service and food here and today is no exception. As the name implies, this is a diner, not a white cloth gourmet restaurant and the food and atmosphere reflect that. Not sure what the “out of town” previous reviewer was expecting, but over years of coming here, I have always had great service and great “diner”food including with the new owners. I will definitely recommend and return.
This is the best place for anytime of day..the service is always the best and the outdoor area is pet friendly. They treat my dog like a customer too. I love this place!
We ate breakfast a few times during our stay. Service is great, friendly staff. There are many breakfast choices. We had pancake combo and the waffle one with eggs, choice bacon, etc. There is 50s, 60, and music in the background. Staff is very attentive to your needs. There are many locals who come to meet together and eat.
Stopped here tonight on our way home from the Bay Area. Service was top notch - our server was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, served hot, and in a timely manner. We met the owner, and she is one amazing lady! Helping out in the back doing dishes because one of her employees was out sick. DEFINITELY a place we will come back to again and again.
This place has changed so much! The food is amazing and the wait staff are super friendly. I'll definitely be back. If you are local or just passing through, this is a diner you don't want to pass up. Enjoy!
Great food and fast, friendly service. It's nice to go to locally owned business that really goes above and beyond in making sure that their customers are happy. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient. IMHO, they have the best burgers around, beating out, In & Out and The Habit by a mile. Actually, I'm glad that this place is more locally known so it's not inundated by tourists and you can generally get a seat for lunch right off while seeing other friends and neighbors from around town rather than a bunch of passer through people from the Bay area or the Valley.
Great customer care. The food was delicious. The french fries were nice and crunchy And not greasy. That is always a big plus. We have the French dip and the flavor was outstanding. So I was you wasn't too salty it was perfect. The desert case is to die for. Loved loved loved their carrot cake. Definitely be going back for another piece of that soon. Wait staff was ugly and very personable and attentive. If they seen my drink getting low they were right there to get it. The coffee kept coming and it was piping hot. Cute little place with a long time history
Fantastic food and the service was exceptional. 1st time there and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service was quick and friendly and I was surprised how fast the food got to us. Prices are reasonable, not the cheapest but fairly priced compared to other places. I ordered the Mushroom burger and it was huge and delicious. We'll definitely go again
A-town Diner in Atascadero is truly a gem! Their food is delicious and tastes just like home-cooked comfort meals. I love their turkey dinner and the turkey sandwich dip-both are incredible! The au jus is rich and flavorful, and everything is always fresh. On top of that, service is great, the staff is so warm and welcoming every time we visit. It’s one of those places where you feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
We sure wish we had known about this restaurant a long time ago. If you miss the 60's era, you need to go here asap. The ambiance, food, prices, and good feelings you'll have are irreplaceable. I only wish it was closer to where we live.
Such a sweet hometown diner! I loved the cobb salad (ginormous and fully loaded) and the classic juke box just makes me smile. Casual crowd, friendly, and quick service. I was grateful that I was able to be seated, order, and eat in under 45 minutes since I had somewhere to be, but I could definitely enjoy hanging out with family and friends here! Obviously a local favorite, it was crowded for a random Tuesday night in Feb! I'll definitely be back for that salad again, and I want to see if the jukebox still works!
This was our first time to Atown diner since the new ownership took over. We stopped going a while ago because it wasn’t great but went in today because they are doing a grad night fundraiser for the high school. Let me tell you, it is SO much better than it used to be. Food was seasoned well, service was great, super cute upgrades to the dining room and it was clean! We will definitely be going back now knowing how much it’s improved! Great job guys!
Mimi and her team are amazing! True down home feeling with delicious food and excellent service. The serving size is perfect for a family of boys. A-Town Diner supports local youth, so any friend of our youth is a friend of ours. It's a bonus that this place is so delicious. Im told by our kids that their new decor in the mens bathroom is really charming. A-Town Diner is an all-time favorite in our family!
Have eaten here a few times, and they do a nice job. I just had onion rings (nicely coated and cooked to perfection) and a milkshake (very tasty). My friend had a Reuben that he said was great. I think the waitress forgot to put in the order for my milkshake, as it took a LONG time to make its appearance at the table.
Had the meat loaf (stuffed with mashed potatoes & wrapped in bacon). Served with garlic toast. Great! Also had steamed broccoli, cauliflower & carrots. The wide carrot slices had the same flavor as when eating home grown. Next, the slice of peach pie was excellent. It didn't taste sickening sweet like syrupy pie filling from a can... it tasted like my homemade peach pie with my homegrown peaches. The restaurant looks like a 1950's diner, with chrome legs on the tables & red vinyl upholstery. They also have booth seating. Old hit songs play on the overhead sound system. They serve comfort food such as country fried steak, biscuits & gravy, fried chicken, etc. There's also various sandwiches, burgers & milk shakes, salads, apple pie, & ice cream a la mode. Kid friendly. Give it a try. I will be returning!
So fast and nice i really need to come again. So yummy!
I love this place, old school dinerbAll the way! great food great people!
Fast, friendly and efficient. All wait times accurate and my favorite when I need a burger always consistently awesome
Great food consistently at a fair price. This is actually a diner where you can order your food a certain way and they will cook it that way. The jukebox and music is very enjoyable. The atmosphere is comfortable and conducive for families and the staff is wonderful! I have been coming here since they opened.
The hostess was very nice and was willing to take my order right away. The food here has always been great, every time I stop by. And it has great tin signs that are fun to read. A must stop for good food and good service.
I was visiting a atascadero and was craving breakfast at 7:00 p.m. The staff was so welcoming to me and Dexter (my little 4 legged baby) They were accommodating and service was excellent and the food was just delicious. I will definitely come back when I'm in this area.
Eating great tasting food in retro style! Oldies music good burgers! Gluten-free buns! Breads are delivered fresh daily from San Luis Obispo bakery 😄🤙Drive over in your HOT ROD and enjoy 😉
Great old school dinner. Always have good food and nice waiters. They are always fast in taking care of us.
We were greeted by an enthusiastic waitress, who gave us excellent service. I ordered the New York Steak, and my wife ordered fish and chips. Both meals were outstanding. The steak was perfectly pan seared and very large. I've paid twice this amount for a smaller steak that wasn't as good as this one. The salad and vegetables were fresh too. We'll be back.
We’ve been here twice and both times were great. We received friendly and fast service and the food is pretty good too! Can’t beat it for the price. We love their mozerella sticks and their burgers the most. Their serving sizes are big without being too much, and the atmosphere has a cute diner type feel. I definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat!
If we were locals, we'd for sure make this a regular stop. As it was, we were in the area for one day on our California vacation, and the online menu looked like this was our type of place. We were there around 7:00 on a Wednesday night. It wasn't very busy at all; the cafe appeared clean and well-organized. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. My husband had a old-school diner greasy double cheeseburger, which was exactly what he wanted. I had the apple walnut salad and asked to add chicken... the portion size was ginormous! It was delicious and fresh. We also split a chocolate shake, because that's what you have to do when you're in a 50s diner. Prices were right in line with what I'd expect and it was definitely a good value for the money!
After a long day driving through Carrizzo Plains we were hungry for comfort food. Google popped this up on the search and the menu was just what we were looking for. The food was hot and tasty, and the service was good. It's the type of diner where the locals hang out. I had the hot chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. It's hard to find good ones, but these were crispy and very well done. My friend was looking for a pastrami sandwich, but as soon as he saw the pastrami burger he was sold. He actually came back a few days later for another one. I think this will be a favorite stop when we ate in the area.
The kids enjoyed the children's menu. The had the grill cheese and the pancakes! My kids are picky so this is a plus. We had the Cobb salad and Caesar salad. They were good and our server was very kind. The price was reasonable.
If you're trying to decide between Denny's and A-Town Diner, come to A-Town. The food is better and the service is WAY better. They take custom orders and have a variety on the menu. If your group has trouble deciding what to ear, just come here. They have something for everyone. There is some cool historic photos on the walls. I have found a favorite on the menu yet. But I'll keep trying. Chicken fingers and the waffle was pretty good. They should add it to the menu.
Lots of good food choices; breakfast, lunch and dinner, and breakfast is served anytime. Daily specials are available.I had a pastrami sandwich. It was loaded with plenty of meat, served with large cut fries. You can get a half sandwich if you're not that hungry, but it's still lots of meat. The service was excellent, and the prices are reasonable. There's plenty of free parking. Enjoy!
I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. I've been to this place at least a few times and the staff was always attentive and courteous. The food is great if you're looking for anything from a serious burger to a veggie sandwich (that actually tastes great and not like something you just left the meat off of).
Breakfast was good. Eggs cooked as I ask. The potatoes were overcooked for me but I failed to ask for litely cooked. Staff was friendly. Place wasn't very busy. Considering food was good, kinda surprised not a lot of customers. I wanted eggs Benedict, but they are only served on weekends! Thus I'm not likely to stop there again on a weekday for breakfast.
Great to be able to sit down. Great service. The only reason it's not a 5 star is, while Virg's Original Pastrami tasted wonderful, maybe better than normal, the meat was pretty fatty and somewhat tough. Not the 1st time lately. Mesquite Chicken sandwich was very good as were the fries.
Had an early lunch, ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. Waitresses were very nice and quick. Food was out fast and hot. Good variety on the menu. Definitely coming back for a milkshake.
Very enjoyable breakfast. Large menu with plenty of options for everyone. We chose omelets and they were fresh, tasty and filling without being heavy. Waffles, pancakes, hash, meat and eggs, biscuits and gravy plus many other breakfast options with large portions. Lunch and dinner also available - looks like standard dinner options - burgers, steak, sandwiches, salads and all look like large portions. Staff was very friendly and helpful, too. Clean facility with clean, stocked bathrooms. If you're like us and you like diner food, you will not be disappointed. And plenty of parking, too!
I ordered a basic, plain bacon cheeseburger, to which I only added ketchup. It was fantastic! Amazing flavor in that burger. The 4 instead of 5 is because the seasoned fries were bland, way under-seasoned. The chocolate shake was good, worth ordering. Prices are incredibly fair.
Every visit to A-Town is pretty good. Pastrami is delicious. Good variety of comfort foods. Good kids selections and very reasonable priced. Beware, it can be easy to over eat! Portions are large but not ridiculous. Great place to go if your kids are loud like mine! Staff is friendly and helpful. Not too many places like this left. Enjoy!
This place is sooo good. We had a large order and it was about 20-35 maybe minutes to close . So we called out of courtesy to ask if it was ok.to order and that we had a big order..She was so lucky me and said absolutely..We went in to pick it up and even the cook was smiling..Great service is hard to find for sure. We made sure to tip them both generously. A great attitude goes a long way.
It's a nice place. At the time we went, it was not busy. The service was great and the food is good. I had the tri-tip sandwich. The wife had a Ruben and it was loaded with meat. Our friend ordered the cold turkey and it too was loaded with truckey. Our server, Zack, was attentive and polite. Next time we are in town, we'll stop by.
Stumbled on this place by accident heading up to Paso. Got off the road to grab a quick bite and saw A-Town. It had a good rating on g-maps so we gave it a shot. The place has some cool history. Dug all the old photos on the wall. The staff was friendly and the food was definitely good. Would return for sure
Mixed feelings I hate to leave this review been here many times. Before Covid19 used to go once a month and met a friend for a bite and chat. Went back the first time since Covid, first time eating out since sat outside the tables were wiped down in front of us which was nice spoke with the owner who was very friendly. I noticed most of the employees were not wearing masks when we walked in along with my friend said the restrooms were very very dirty. When she came back to the table we decided we weren't comfortable staying. We always had good food and nice people working there and clean but this time we didn't even get to order and the place wasn't clean I even noticed a musky smell or some kind of unclean smell when we walked in along with the place just didn't look as clean and employees were NOT wearing masks not even shields if they couldn't wear masks. I hate to leave this review because I had always liked eating here but not sure if I will go back now.
This has always been one of our favorite places for a quick bite. Last Tuesday, we were on a tight schedule, and it seemed a perfect choice. We didn't get seated right away; we, usually, are seated promptly or directed to choose. They were busy, but there were plenty of empty tables. Our Seater brought beverages, and said that the Server would be right with us. Much later, our Server took our orders. Quite a while later on, our sandwiches were delivered by the Seater (and we told him that our order was incomplete). We watched (and ate what he had delivered) as he proceeded to clean and set up tables, seated several groups, but made no attempt to finish delivering our order--nor did the "Server" who had taken our order. After an hour there, no one had come by to see if we wanted anything else, to check on us, or even to drop off the tab. It was, sadly, the worst service we've ever had there! 😒 After searching around for a "to go" box (as we were, now, very late for our appointment), I headed to the register area to pay. After even more delay, our "Server" came to process the payment. When I told her that we hadn't received part of our order, she took it off the bill (with no apology nor any thanks for our patronage). Other than the above, we've been very pleased with what the new owners have done--and seem to be continuing to do; the quality and cleanliness keeps improving.
Don't go for dinner. Stick to a burger. Pork chops were awful. The burgers are very thin, just like In & Out but cost 3x more. One server with all of the tables, the other server had nothing to do and did it well. Maybe instead of station assignments, they just rotate tables as ppl come in. Lots of great memorabilia on the walls, just poorly managed.
Service was slow. We ordered an appetizer but they didn't bring it until they brought our dinner. I had a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was a little raw and the burger was lacking flavor. My husband had the ribs-spicy (which they werent) and the flavor was off putting. Ordered strawberry shake from 1 server who didn't relay to our 2nd server. When we finally got her attention she was very nice but...it was the end of the meal. Don't think we'll be going back soon.
We were happy to find a family style diner for the end of our vacation trip. The staff was attentive enough and our food came out quickly. The asada fries had what looked like frozen steak strips on it but it a problem. The burgers were delicious but seemed a little undercooked. My big problem was the bleach water they used was mixed incorrectly. Not only did it stain my 18 month old son's tank top, it gave him a bleach rash. When I brought this up to the waitress, they said oh sorry, it must have been the morning crews fault. Then 2 of us got an upset stomach on the drive back home. 😒 I really wanted to like this place but it was a bad experience all the way through.
Wasn’t a great experience. Saw other people that arrived after us be served before we did. After 40min+ we decided to leave and the food was ready then. Offered us just a 15% discount for food. Still charged us full $3 price for each drink. Paid for food anyway since we were hungry and took it to go. Food is overpriced even with the trivial 15% discount. Mistakes happen and I’ve heard good things. But this was one of the least enjoyable experiences I’ve had at a diner in a long time. Tough luck I guess
We haven't been here in years, but figured we would give it another chance. Bad idea and we won't be going back anytime soon. The table was dirty when we sat down, I wiped it clean myself. The waitress was rude (older lady). I asked what some kind of mustard was listed on a sandwich and her answer was I don't know. Not let me find out. My mom wanted to order a make your own sandwich, the waitress left and grabbed the paper mid order and came back. I too wanted one so she had to go back for a second paper. My boyfriend wanted one too, but didn't want to make her go back a third time and ended up ordering something else instead, The food took awhile to come out and it was one person's order at a time. The food was ok at best. The people next to us were frustrated as well. Hopefully they can find some better servers or get more cooks maybe to make it a better experience.
I have tried this restaurant multiple times for takeout, hoping that my experience would improve, but unfortunately, it has only gotten worse. Each time I place an order, they manage to forget at least one item. Whether it's a side dish, a drink, or even the main entrée, something is always missing. It's incredibly frustrating to get home and realize that part of my meal is missing, especially after paying for it. I've called to inform them of the missing items, and while they're polite on the phone, the problem persists. It seems like they don't have a proper system in place to ensure orders are complete before handing them off to customers. The food itself is decent when it’s all there, but the constant mistakes with takeout orders make it not worth the hassle. I hope they can address this issue soon, but until then, I won’t be returning for takeout.
The fruit was spoiled, breakfast sandwich was gross the egg I had asked medium rare but it was sunny side up, and bread was soggy and the lettuce was too plus it had no taste to it what so ever and I had asked with bacon and it had came without bacon. Would not recommend eating there.
Rude over the phone consistently. Their online menu does not represent what they serve anymore. I constantly get orders mixed up or missing items especially in the evening. The quality is good. Just the general incompetence and congeniality of the staff is below acceptable. I have been going there consistently over the last couple years and will be going to Cowgirls Cafe from now on for breakfast or Country Touch. At least I can expect to not be treated like garbage over the phone or not have wrong orders or wait a half hour to get my drink and an hour for food when it's not busy. More people need to do this so Atown Diner changes for the better. The competition is too high for them to continually do this garbage.
I get it. You gotta take care of your locals. There is a lot of them. They know all of you servers by name. They keep you in business. But you're right off the highway ignoring the guys passing through who walked in sat down before those half dozen different tables of said locals is bit much. I ordered the BBQ pineapple turkey burger of which there was no BBQ sauce, hot sauce, or "special" sauce when it arrived. The turkey patty was razor thin. Might as well have been a meatless sandwich. More insulting was the fact that this "burger" cost $13. This was actually $3 more than what is posted on their website, $4 more than user posted image of the menu from a year ago, and didn't come with a side of any kind; not even a pickle. None of their burgers come with sides. It cost $20 for a burger and onion rings. I can get that plus much more fanfare at dozens of other more restaurants with arguably higher operating cost than this one. A 40% increase in 12 months is a bit much. Good luck with that.
i don't know how to rate it cause i've liked the place but experience tonight will keep me from going again. i ordered the special beef tornadoes a burger, fries and a shake.i showed up (15 minutes) and the woman at the entrance was making the menu board. she looked at my order sitting there and said that it's still coming up and it would be a few minutes so i sat at the counter and saw three burger orders were their too.so she does a very stellar job making the sign in only about 10 minutes.makes sure that it's in it's holder, picks up the three burger orders, comes back in another 5 minutes rings up mine and about 20 minutes after my food was cooked off i go to get home and discover!!! no shake.i call and they say sorry, come get it. i tell the (other)woman how long the food took and she was sorry for that too.so i show up too get the shake and guess what!!!! it'll be a few minutes.clearly terrible service good food!!
Not one to really like to talk negatively on a place, however I will have to say my experience was not that great! I ordered fish and chips with a side of fried zucchini and let me say this I wish I took a picture but didn’t think about til i was gone, but the fish was fried til it was almost black! When you broke the fish in half there was over cooked dried meat, no flaky juicy typical fish it was jerky and same with the zucchini. It was black. Not sure if it was a new cook or the oil was way to high or what but it was so burnt I couldn’t even eat it. Super disappointed.
Bad costumer service, the waiter with black hair, ignored my husbund, she had a very bad accitude, plus she took the order wrong. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
I don't know what happened but this is not the Atown diner I've come to know and love. My Atown club had literally 3 slices of meat, so little avocado that I only got some on the last bite and no cheese. Primarily lettuce to make it look full. And even though the server repeated back my salad order, it came out wrong. Steve would be embarrassed if he saw what I saw today.
The owner of the establishment needs to hire waiters with a positive attitude, they are there, but there are few of them! The old lady with a tattoo on her left hand who works there is unhappy with those who do not speak English! I saw hatred and anger on her face! I will avoid this place!)
Picked up corned beef dinner for.myself and 93 year old aunt. It was the toughest piece of meat that couldn't be salvaged. I may try simmer tomorrow to make corn beef hash. There wasn't a spec of juice in the whole container. The Cabbage was boiled in water and had no taste. I'm so disappointed. This is the 2nd time in a year I've gotten a bad meal. I can't afford to go out much on retired SS. I know people like this place so you all enjoy.
I've tried to eat here twice. The first time we were seated and nobody ever came back to get our drink order let alone our food order so we left. We tried again tonight, after standing there for a bit without being acknowledged we decided to leave. I've heard good things about the place so I'm going to try again on a different night. Maybe Wednesday night is thier off night. 🤔
From my fried chicken dinner that was still frozen in the middle of it, cold mashed potatoes and looking like a bite taken out of my toast after I complained never going back again! Instead of the waitress saying Ill inform the manager she informed the cook instead!
