No free refills on the drinks here. That's....yeah. It's next to a school so it gets crazy during school times. Avoid at those times if you don't want a crowd to eat with.

As a busy business owner, mother, and having a traditional job, I often come by the drive thrugh to order the family bundles. Although, their usual wait time, it's always a pleasure to be greeted by Eric. His excellent customer service in resolving any discrepancies with some of my orders and his respectful manner in explaining company policies when it has come to condiments are superb! Because of young adults like him, such establishments are a success! Wish they would get paid as much as all other burger joints.

Great place to grab good old fashioned hamburgers also their famous chili dogs and chili cheese fries. Not to mention their corn dogs. I have such a hard time choosing and let's not get started on their desserts rich ice cream with a variety of choices to choose from.

Its nice to go into a restaurant and get service instead of trying to figure out how to order on a kiosk. Cashier, Gabriella, has great customer service skills. This is my 4th time visiting Hamburger Stand #385 when I'm doing work in the Impwerial Valley, and she's been here 3 out of 4 times. She's very welcoming. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always consistent here.

We love their ice cream cones dipped in chocolate. If you need something extra kinda and drip-free, check out the soft serve chocolates dipped ice cream cones. They are decadent and definitely a crowd pleaser. There is no need for shade, especially if you hit The Hamburger Stand late at night as we did. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond their call of service. So remember, if you're having a bad day, try a chocolate dipped ice cream cone. You're smile will surely pop out.

Okay. Nausea has taken over this review, so this is a little biased. We grab food here every time we pass by during the holidays. Over 20 years my family has eaten from here. It's not the "best" food on the planet, but it is cheap, fast and reliable. Stop by if you are in a pinch.

Food is always gooood, but service is tooooo slow. They need to have more employees...especially on busy days/weekends🙄

Food here is pretty good and cheap. Their service is quick and usually they're on point about your order and condiment request. Just don't look a the kitchen, it's looks like it's time for an upgrade (or clean up to say the least).

Everything is delicious. My only complaint is that they never give you condiments in the drive through. You have to ask but I hate asking because I forget sometimes. Had to eat my corn dog dry.

Husband loves this place and has been going here since the burgers was 25¢. Good food, friendly people, but drive thru took us about 10-30 mins altogether. I understand places are busy! Just a tiny bit faster in drive thru would be lovely! Only complaint for here is drive thru time. It took us 10 mins to get to speaker to order, then a good 20 mins to get to window to pay for food and receive food. Great customer service though!

Love the Burgers an chili cheese fries, great work from the cooks. Unfortunately I put 3 stars because I always have issues with the personal up front. always talking an huddled up with out helping customers until they see fit.

I saw this place having driven by several times and decided to try it out. It was very average. For me Five Guys still sets the standard for freshly made burgers and fresh cut fries.

My issue with the service is only that they don't pay attention to the customer. I asked for a small combo and I got charged for a medium drink on my small combo. I didn't ask for the medium drink so I let them know. They then decide to attempt and belittle me for the extra 32 cents that I got charged, saying everyone orders their combos like that. As if my issue was that 32 cents. It's the fact that I never ordered it in the first place. Nice way to scam people cent by cent imagine the 32 cents they get away with every single day from each customer that orders a small combo. Good food. Shady service. Next time something like this shows up on the receipt I will definitely make it a big deal even if it's one cent!

I love the food and the staff is nice. I'd give a higher rating if the wait wasn't so long. Plus...one manager is openly rude to the employees in front of customers and it's super awkward. Dude, don't do that. Most of the time I don't understand the problem. Maybe the wait gets long because she's busy chewing them out instead of letting them work. Like, chill out lady.

This place is pretty good at times. The wait here is really long when they're busy. I waited 10 minutes just to order some bottled water in the summer and after ten more minutes they came back trying to offer a cup of water since they couldn't find anymore water bottles. Not the worst and not the best but food is pretty good.

Food was ok. I really disliked that there are NO REFILLS and no signs and they tell you when you want a refill. Biggest issue is I saw a weinersnitzel sign but the do things the hamburger stand way. No refills. I spent $50 with my family. No thank you. Change your policy. This city is 110 degrees or so!

The food is great, what's not to love about some of there chilli cheese offerings. However, it's a popular place with the younger crowds and some of the employees act accordingly. They can't seem to transition well between taking the order of a friend and that of a customer.

service is kind of slow. they will have everyone wait on their order even if it is ready just because the order for the person at the window isn't ready. Or they will go e you your order and you're stuck in line . they will not ask the person whose order isn't ready to wait out front and that they will take the food to them. Very Narrow minded suggestions not welcome. Every restaurant asks their customers to pull forward until their food is ready if taking longer than other orders. I don't see the problem.

Their fries are very good just about like McDonald's. If I blindfold yeah you could probably not tell the difference? Personally I don't like corn dogs but they have lots of them. I just had a couple of cheap hamburgers with my fries. prices are okay too.

1st time stopping here. Had a craving for ice cream. Went thru drive thru, was a very long wait.. account for extra time. Not a place to go if you are in a time crunch. Only reason why I rated as 3 stars. Got a banana split, was good.

The food is typically on point here however my last 2 visits were pretty bad. The oil used on the poppers tasted recycled and old. The poppers themselves were extremely burned so that may be what I was tasting. Parking is always easy. The atmosphere gets a 3 because of the parents that let their children run wild like its a park. Not the Stands fault but it still makes me want to wait for my food in my car and get out as fast as I can. The staff are fairly nice and polite. My order has always been correct. Final thought: I'll try one more time and see how the food comes out. If they cant nail that, with the rising prices and chaotic atmosphere, its not worth a return trip in my opinion.

This caught my eye as a chain I never heard of and it looked like it could be unique. We stopped late and it still was busy for stoner food. The cinnamon bun shake was unique and good , fruit loops wasn’t so good. The chilly cheese dog was solid ( fresh bun, dog cooked ok and weak chili). Fries were lukewarm. The servers were friendly but food was a little slow. Late night cheap food run it is worth a stop….. regular meal there are better choices.

The first two times that we bought food here were great!! But this last time was horrible. The hot dog and hamburgers tasted old and dried, the fries were cold and some of the fries in my batch were undercooked. Dissatisfied and left feeling like a fool because we purchased the family meal, only to have my Suegro say “meh” when asked what he thought of the chili dog. Sad. My husband was waiting for a good response regarding the food here. Which is good but I don’t know what happened this last time. The only tasty item were the poppers. They were on point! Hopefully this establishment gets the much needed help they need. It took a long time to place our order in the drive through.

The redhead cashier was very rude and let us sit with no explanation in the drive thru for approximately 20 minutes. At about 10 min the cashier was keeping her back to me while I was waving my hand and yelling. When she finally responded she briefing opened the window and repiled " I know sir, just a moment". The food alright tho. But I would avoid the place just because I don't want to be treated like that.

This establishment could have better potential, but their food is expensive for the quality. The dining area is dull, and feels more like a convenience store atmosphere. Drive thru line is almost always long, and average waiting time at peak times 5pm-8pm is about 10-15 minutes. My honest suggestion, is make the extra drive to Sonic for the same food choices and better quality food.

Food was okay, but the service was terrible. Our order was called, and we were still missing a few items-- large order, I get it. Went up to ask about it and the manager started yelling at us and explaining the way the receipt was broken down and how we were wrong. I gave up on trying to get the order of fries that was missing and asked but just the burgers. She gave us one, but we had to keep showing the receipt and explaining that we were missing more than I originally thought. Finally, she turned to the other employees, went "Seriously?!" And then got our other burger. She then yelled at the cashier for not double checking the order before calling it out. Needless to say, I was terrified to go back for ice cream. :(

Used to be a great place to grab a quick eat, now its awful. Defiently a get what you pay for place. Burgers suck, frys taste awful, only things really the same are the fountain drinks and desserts. I swear the fries have an insanely short lifespan, if you buy and dine as you drive they go stale fast.

One of those hit or miss fast food places. Sometimes its good, sometimes its bad. Though its mostly bad. Theres a lot of better places to eat close by than here. The one plus is they have decent ice cream. Employees are friendly, and professional. Just the food needs a rework.

I dislike leaving negative reviews but I was unable to finish the 🍔 from here. McDonald’s tastes better to me than this place. However, the majority of people ordered the 🌭 so I don’t know. Will not be returning. The fries and jalapeño poppers were decent. They forgot to make the jalapeño poppers and had to wait for a long time. After I asked how much longer it will take, the cashier had to remind the cooks to start making them. The cashier was nice so 3 stars for service. The restroom is neglected.

I know this place has been around for a long time and some people love it. I have been here twice and it took them over 30 mins to put a hotdog in a bun and pour a soda. On my third visit I gave up and left as did several others behind me in line. It's just not worth the effort for this place when I can get one at Costco in under 2 mins and a drink for less than $5. There was no acknowledgement of anyone in line. No "I'll be with you in a minute". Nothing.

We went through the drive thru and ordered 3 #5 combos and was charged extra for items we never ordered and charged for upgrades on drinks and we never ordered upgrades. When we got home we realized the receipt was even more incorrect and the items in the bag were not correct and no straws for the drinks. The server at the window did not want to take responsibility and said he didn't take the order. So we decided to call the manager and he did not do well at listen and kept trying to say that is what was ordered , however by the end of the call they he did offer to refund the extra charges.

Okay burgers and fries. No free refills. Eh, it’s affordable at least.

So sad that the effects of the pandemic are still present. First they stopped doing a lot of things due to health concerns. Then greed stepped in and altered or way of life as once known. When purchasing a soft drink from a fast food restaurant the biggest expense incurred by the restaurant is the cost of the cup and lid. The water, syrup, carbonation is pennies. At near $3 for a large drink and now you've made it permanent that refills are not available is a shame. You're near a school and perhaps the students destroyed the refills. Prior to the pandemic a vehicle crashed into your building and with those repairs you decided to eliminate the drink station. Understood! But as a single man who comes in on average 2 times a week and each visit my meal is $16.50 today is extremely hot outside and I wanted to take my drink with me. Having never asked for a refill until today I learned that you pushed your greed another inch. I love the Wienerschnitzel menu and have for 50 years. But as of right now I will never return to this location. I'll wait until I go to San Diego or palm springs to enjoy Wienerschnitzel..

I only enjoy a couple things at hamburger stand which is the food and ice cream but recently I have chosen to stop going and not spend my money at such a terrible environment i have realized that theirs always new employees working not much of the employees stay at the job for a long time and in my opinion i feel like it’s because of the rude management there I have heard Vicky the main manager yell at her employees and speak to them in a disrespectful manner that is not how managers are supposed to treat the employees something has to be done. We always come to this place but today was one of the worst times. I ordered but the drive thru lady gave us a whole different order than what it was. We corrected her and said this is not what we ordered and she went ahead and was going back and forth at the window that it was our fault. Drive thru ladys name is Julia. And just to let you know customer is always right. At least thats what training always says unless it’s different in this place. Doesnt look right to blame the customer for not hearing the order correctly. And going back and forth with the customer at the window. Dont forget we (customers) make your paycheck. Remember that next time you want to be going back and forth with a customer. A little but of refreshing training can be useful. I as former manager of a place wouldnt tolerate this from an employee.

Food is alright, but beware, the customer service is incredibly disappointing. I waited and waited for my order, only to be told that it was accidentally given to another customer. Asked for a refund, but they refused because they, "needed the burgers back". Obviously, the other customer was long gone by then, so I left with no food and no refund; ridiculous.

The place was semi dirty. The old lady upfront super rude (you ask her a question and she only answer no with a bulldog face, not going back because of her). The food upset my stomach gave me diarrhea. I don't recommend it. Also the don't have refills.

The customer service is the worst there can be. The manager Vicky argues to customers saying, they don't honor the customer is always right. When the employees try to help the customers properly, the manager would yell at the employees in front of everyone at the restaurant. They have a window on drive thru big enough to see into the kitchen. I saw one of the cooks dropping patties and buns to the floor and kicking them to the side. I think that's disgusting, especially since most of the staff doesn't wear gloves when stationed in kitchen. When I asked for the company's number they said they didn't know it, that I could look it up online. From what I've heard the manager has run the restaurant for over 40 years, and hasn't changed her way of running the business.

Forgot items, took forever, the Wienerschnitzel was cold all of it. We were on the road and had to turn around and go back. Then they questioned if we had gotten our fries or not, after we told them we hadn't?! Never again!

How can this establishment discriminate people and be rude with client at the same time? The food is very good, but the length of time it takes to get your order is absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure if this particular location is unaware of how a drive-through is supposed to work but you can wait upwards up to 40 minutes in line waiting for your food.
