Opinions de Sushi Park El Centro
I'm a sushi lover and this is the closest to original Japanese cousine. Soups are great and my favorite roll is the Nebraska. I always have a good time with friends. Excellent service. Waiters/Waitress great. However, I can feel that the waiters are stressed out but their professionalism makes it up.
If I could give 10 stars I would! Awesome service! Food is outstanding! I tried the beef pho this time. Really hard to do as I remembered how wonderful the seafood soup was on my last visit. Their broth is some of the best I have ever tasted. The sushi is perfection of course. I had the salmon with very nice sized slices. I pass through this route at least once a month. That is just too long between visits. Hmm
In from out of town and had dinner twice. Amazing food. Spicy is on point and the music selection tion was fabulous from Iris. Make sure to have a gelato for dessert for a strong finish. Great family environment
Hands down the best ramen place I have ever been to. I have tried many at San Diego and this one in The Valley is way better than the San Diego ramen places! I have tried 4 different ramens and they are all so delicious and tasty!! Plus the customer service is so great, the workers are really friendly and amazing!
Had the Korean BBQ Buffett experience once more! It was delicious as always with an excellent service. The server was very attentive with our orders. Always happy to pay a visit to this place, couldn't try their fried chicken but had it before and it's just excellent.
Love their California and Arkansas sushi rolls. Very responsive to special request. Nice staff. Always smiling. They are never too busy and I can’t figure out why. Possibly it’s the time of day I swing by. No one that I’ve seen is ever left to wait at the entrance without being immediately acknowledged. I return often. Pricing is fair Facility very clean.
Very clean and nice sushi restaurant we stopped by when we were on the way to Phoenix. They offer a lot of types of Asian foods, including Chinese, Korean and Japanese foods. I had a bowl of salmon sashimi salad and my husband had a bento box of sashimi over rice. Both of them are pretty good, we are happy to eat this on the road. The service is very sweet and friendly. I’ll recommend you this place if you ever stop by.
This place is amazing because it's a 3 in 1. They have sushi, hot pot and Korean fried chicken. It was very exciting seeing all the options they have. We ordered many dishes to try. Bento boxes were really tasty and good portions. I've gone twice and both times we have gotten great service. The 2nd time was way more busy and the dishes were taking longer to come out but it's understandable.
The food is clean and good. The service needs help. It takes a while to be seated. Overall, 4 stars 🌟
I came here to eat some Ramen. I was greated immediately they have a very friendly staff. We were seated fairly quickly. I ordered some shrimp Ramen and a Connecticut roll. The food was amazing I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting sushi or Ramen.
The food was very good! The service is good too and the waitress served us well. I was so stuffed in the end 😂❤️
Outstanding!! We needed to fuel ourselves while passing through El Centro, and Rakuen turned out to be a Unicorn of an internet search for food. Delicious Ramen. Even though the service was a little slow I was so impressed I am still giving Rakuen a 5/5.
Large amount of sushi options, nice appetizers & the food taste great, just wish there was a greater selection of soft beverages too have
I ordered the Michigan roll and Iowa roll! I loved every bite and would highly recommend this place. Very high quality and the prices were reasonable.

Loved it. Got the 8pc with spicy tuna roll and I was very satisfied. The fish tasted fresh and really hit the spot. Great price, food and service.
The food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was tasteful and welcoming, while not being over whelming or tacky. Overall I will be returning and highly recommend. I do not recommend if your looking for a quick bite to eat, as this location is more of sit down and enjoy your meal.

Great place, clean atmosphere, and diverse clientele. I always stop here to park the truck and enjoy decent sushi. I was very skeptical the first time, but they rent space here and it's really good. Enjoy a cold beer and a few rolls before bed. I always recommend this spot! Haven't been disappointed yet.
It's a great place, just missing something. Really slow. Not sure why they don't have more business. Food quality is great almost as if everything is made in house just not quite there. Definitely will come back when I'm in town. People need to wake up this place where I'm from would be really an hr wait to sit.
The kbbq part is ok. I've had better for far less the price. The other foods from the connected restaurants are good. I recommend the Chi+Mac fried chicken 👌
We were 5 minutes after the lunch special and they said we couldn't have it. That was disappointing but I understood. Then I ordered an appetizer it never came and I had to ask it to be taken off the check. The food was good, nothing special just typical honey chicken and teryachi chicken. I doubt I would go back.
(12/15/22) THE BAD: I was semi-LIVID over the fact that I couldn't order a margarita at my table on my 30th birthday? *insert devastation* Only certain alcoholic drinks were allowed to be served outside of the bar? I was already confused about what restaurant I was entering. I'm curious why they would turn away that revenue? I would have ordered ~3 drinks @ 12.99 but instead stuck with water and a lemonade with free refills. If you're going to have 2 restaurants and a bar in 1 location, try your best to make it as consumer friendly as possible. Me having to go to the bar for a margarita, 1 section for a sushi roll, and another for a BBQ entree is not logical to me... The crazy onion is good but they only put sauce across the top so the ones on the bottom are plain, maybe get extra sauce on the side? THE GOOD: Service was friendly and no *super* long waits for anything at all. The sushi was really really good! The fried rice was the most perfect, beautiful fried rice I've ever seen! Tasted great and came out piping hot and fresh. Our server was adorable and sweet. The manager/owner(?) stopped by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It was my birthday so I really really didn't want to complain or bring up any negativity. I chose to stay even after the no margarita situation and really wanted to try the beautiful sushi and I'm thrilled that I did!!
Amazing customer service and food was delicious.
Ordered a ribeye steak, and was disappointed. What I received was 2 thin flank steaks. Took the server forever and did not receive all of our order.

Slow dine-in service. Too long to take order; 40 minutes before drinks; 2-hours and 15 minutes for lunch and we were reminding them of service. Food is fine, but I will not return. This is the 3rd time in this restaurant with same slow service; however, restaurant name changed from Rakuen Ramen House, so I thought it would be different--not.
The food was amazing and so was the ambiance. The waitresses were beyond rude and lack customer service. We weren't given spoons or napkins and gave us attitude when we asked so we could eat our soup. Then I had to get up and follow a waitress that saw my daughter asking nicely for service and ignored her. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in the valley ever like this. It all started when the waitress saw my son had a wheelchair and felt it was an ada discrimination.
Food is always delicious but their service is always very lackluster. I would go more often if it wasn't for their service
I want to give this place a higher review, I really do. Today's service doesn't reflect the service that they usually give to us in our prior visits. Today was lacking in some areas. The server we got today is usually very nice and attentive, but today it felt as if she didn't even want to be near our table and would toss us our plates or snatched my cup away when I asked for a refill on my water. She forgot to bring us a cup with ice for our soda and she rushed to take our orders, so much so that she didn't let us finish placing our order as she left too fast. The food for the most part was not bad, it was good except for one of the dishes. I got the chicken cutlets and it was a little overcooked and it was too salty. The vegetables weren't that good either, maybe they were a tad bit old. Otherwise, the food was pretty good. The portion sizes were pretty good, as usual. You definitely get your money's worth here, even though the service was lacking and it brought down our entire experience a bit. Today may have been an off day.
Honestly, it is pretty pricey for what it is; the selection of rolls is great, however, they are okay at best. The boba follows the same trend. I've never had Tapioca pearls that were crunchy before this place. At least the interior aesthetics are pretty nice (:
The service was nice. It took less than ten minutes for me to get my food to-go. In terms of the sushi I got, it was mediocre at best. I thought that the portion would be bigger for $10, but the roll was quite small. I liked the spice of the jalapeño, and the chipotle Mayo were a nice touch. I wish they gave hand cut pickled ginger to enhance the flavor of the fish. Also, the size of the fish on top was quite small and did not cover the whole roll. If you are hungry and need a quick bite to eat, I’d recommend eating from this place. If you’re a sushi connoisseur and have high expectations on sushi, I suggest you dine somewhere else.

I’ve been a long time customer of this establishment I try to go as often as I can and often get more than one roll or plate because their food is very tasty I have however had multiple instances with other customers who have expressed issues with staff and i unfortunately must say today this happened to me I had asked for a substitution on a roll and afterwards decided against it I had two rolls and I asked to substitute one roll with salmon instead of crab (the other roll does not have crab AT ALL) I decided against substitution and kept the crab and added the salmon regardless when I received my roll I mentioned to the server that the wrong roll had my salmon (extra charge) and the server began to tell me that was incorrect because she asked me about my order, both times that my order was asked I said yes to what I said, substitution on the second roll the server continued to insist that I was incorrect I finally gave up on the interaction and had to tell her 3 times that the situation is okay and that I’ll be quiet and eat my meal...she continued to insist that she was correct. When she produced the paper with the order she attempted to convince me that it had been lost and only showed me a glimpse of the paper when she finally found it. I also tried to explain that the roll with salmon substitution doesn’t even have crab to be substituted with . The altercation was completely out of hand and unnecessary I understand if I might have made a mistake in my hearing but the server could not be calmed in her insistence that she is correct going as far as to not leave me alone when I asked her. I do not wish any negativity but this was unnecessary and excessive. The food was still however delicious however the escalation by the server ruined my experience and has convinced me and my friends not to come back.
We to visit this restaurant tonight 2/14/18. The waitress was awesome. We noticed that the owner or we think was the owner (wearing a black and white chefs jacket) spoke to everyone in the restaurant, but did not speak or even look at us because we were the only persons of color eating tonight.
The tuna in the spicy tuna rolls is red paste and the soups smell weird and the meat in the soup is low quality. Waiters are nice tho

I don't know who is in the kitchen, but I pay too much for a disgusting flavor, too much salt in the food, and in the kids meal was so notorious the food was old, chicken has a taste old and the rice was so dry. Without talk about how the person who put the food in the bag, was soaking her fingers with his mouth and removing the mask as he put the order together. And I think she was the owner, I'm definitely not coming back. I order to take out.
Sadly, I had to change my review. I'm not sure what happened to this spot, but I ordered 3 avocado rolls and tofu teriyaki and never got my order. On the other hand my friend got his order before me. The waitress I had was very rude when I denied the food and no longer wanted to eat after waiting for so long. I guess at least my friend got to eat 🤷. It used to be my favorite spot, but i guess I will be looking for a new one.
My family would go to Sushi Park several times a month but after our experience today we will NEVER return!! Our waiter was awesome, unfortunately the night manager was horrible. She yelled at our waiter in front of everybody about a charge on a check. She made us feel super uncomfortable. The owner is usually there when we go and he is super nice. Unfortunately, you guys have lost regular customers because the night manager could not control her attitude.
literally horrible service. rude employees. if i could give negative stars, trust me i would. they cleaned our table and it was sticky, plus they took AGES to even get our drinks. if ur planning on coming here, make sure to bring ur patience. the other sushi's park location and staff was 10000% better.
Overpriced and options are not worth the price. How are you gonna charge extra for kimchi or make it a premium only option
So, they also have a Korean all you can eat buffet. I wish I could say that I know how it tasted but I ended up walking out after waiting about 45 minutes in total. I waited about 15 minutes to be seated with the family of three. Then it took about 15 minutes for us to even get water. We had yet to be able to place an order for about another 20 minutes. After, we decided enough was enough and left. It is worth noting that we did ask for the manager about halfway through all this. It was kind of something that was shrugged off.
Stopped in for lunch for the first and last time. Rude staff, we were one of two tables in there and felt invisible other than when the snippy server graced us with her holy presence. Their booths look new but don’t be fooled and plop down… they are horribly uncomfortable, like something is missing from the seats and you kinda sink in and hit the hard seat frame. Some elderly person is going to crack a tailbone one of these days. Neither my husband or I could finish our ramens, bad texture and taste and rubbery meat. The California rolls tasted good but we had to ask for ginger (comes with sushi in most places) and it looked super old and disgusting. There are much better places to spend your money that actually care about your business.
The food is atrocious. Run. Far. Away. In the opposite direction. Heed my warning. One of the worst meals of my life.

Placed an order 40 min ahead got there and my order was not only incorrect they said it’d take another 20-30 min to get the sushi. Unpleasant customer service.
Terrible service. We waited almost two hours for the food to arrive. After that, we had to wait another 20 minutes just to get the bill. Completely unacceptable experience.
