Haven't been to a sizzler in decades. Passing through el Centro we stopped at this one. Got the salad bar......but it has so much more than just salad. Staff was great and so was the food. Place was very clean.

Food is reasonably priced. You get plenty to eat. I ordered the chicken melt sandwich with fries. Pretty tasty. Lots of fries, couldn't eat them all. This was my second visit here.

Hector Gonzalez, the manager, is an absolute sweetheart! He always comes by our table to make sure everything is ok. Always friendly and makes us feel welcome. Jenny, our waitress, was on the ball. Made sure our plates were cleared and new ones brought. Always a pleasant experience at our El Centro Sizzler!

My wife and I are extremely pleased for the dining experience that we and many others always receive.The cleaness of the restaurant, the salad entrees, and my SALMON plate is always grilled and seasonally prepared.with no exceptions…!!!!! All of us here in the IMPERIAL VALLEY ARE EXTREMELY FORTUNATE TO HAVE SIZZLERS HERE IN EL CENTRO…. And thanks to HECTOR, MANAGER, and to his CREW….. Just a personal observation and recent experience: Manager Hector Gonzalez and Assistant Manager Jose Luis are very supportive with their employees. I've observed them assisting employees at the salad bar, dinning area, kitchen, fountain drinks and the cash register. As if though teaching both old and new employees the importance of team work as they demonstrate with example. Lead or hostess Beatrice is always polite and helpful. Capri is an attentive waiter who never hesitates to fulfill the smallest request and Ruby one of several line cashiers is extremely courteous and friendly. Not only is the food good, but the staff works with integrity. I was rushed due to a phone call I received while ordering. So, I paid but misplaced my cell. I took a seat and as I arrived to the salad bar Capri approached me and returned my cell. Apparently Ruby found it and gave it to Capri for a safe return. Thank you all again and see you soon.

We've been going for 20+ yrs and it's never let us down...the wait-staff are amazing, some have been there for years and they know how to make a person feel welcome and taken care of...thank you!!

We stopped here on our way to Oceanside. We both had the salad bar it was really good. Nice and fresh. The albondigas soup was delicious. My hubby loved the ice cream and the chocolate fluff.

My experience was a mind-blowing one and not in a negative light. For $48.68 I was able to feed 3 people including me! I love how clean and professional the servers are. So Caesar if you see this please relax don't need to call me sir every five seconds. Take it easy man you're doing amazing! To the manager your employees are nice and I'd love to work for you. 10000/10000 stars for y'all.

To be honest, some of the past reviews made us leary of trying Sizzler. Because it was within walking distance of our motel, we went. My husband and I are young seniors and I must say that, the fellow behind the counter explained how it worked, we decided on the salad bar idea which included a full delicious salad bar, fresh and any and every thing that you would want in a salad, delicious soup (we both had the broccoli cheese), fried chicken that was yummy and because we were totally full, we did not try the taco bar. But, to be honest, we had to try the brownies, the pound cake with strawberry and whipped cream. We have absolutely positive remarks and when talking to the manager for extreme compliments, she said we are working hard to overcome negative comments made in the past years. Our server was great, very attentive at keeping our drinks filled and extra plates provided for the salad bar, though it was packed out in his area!! One table alone had at least 12-15 ladies, and he STILL came and checked up on us. The salad bar food, vegetables and fruit were pretty fresh, no frost bitten items. And the desserts looked so scrumptious 🤤, but I behaved myself and stuck to my low carb foods! 🫤🤣 So, if you're ever in the neighborhood in El Centro, California, drop on by and see for yourself, you'll be glad you did!! We had never eaten at Sizzler before but it was an excellent experience. The employees were very friendly and polite. We ordered and then went to the salad bar. It looked fresh and everything had an excellent taste. I stopped eating my salad so I could wait for my steak and potato. It arrived just as it should have and was cooked to perfection. I've never eaten a better baked potato. The dessert was very good and the server was efficient. We will be going back soon. I can't remember a better meal.

If you go here try to get CAPRICE to be your waiter. He is SUPER! Not so much for the others. Most are just average but a couple of them are only there for the money and don't care about their customers like DIANE. CAPRICE will go out of his way to make sure that you are comfortable, have everything you need, that you are well attended to.

Very great place to eat if you're looking for a place with good eats that is affordable. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. I usually go for the beef sirloin tips as they also include the salad bar. The selection of the unlimited salad bar has a lot of options. A lot of people usually go for the chicken wings (very delicious!), and the spaghetti with meatballs. They have a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a nice ice cream bar.

They were open for indoor seating. We ordered lunch sat where we wanted and was attended to by a very friendly staff member, got our drinks in a short time. Our meal arrived in a short time after. We were well looked after.

Had a great lunch with family since we don't have a Sizzler in Yuma. Malibu Chicken yum. Our son treated us for his dad's birthday.

Food is always good. The salad buffet is clean and fresh. There's more than just salad. Taco and nacho fixings as well as spaghetti. Good if you have little ones.

The food was good and we loved the salad bar with tons of extras but our server never checked on us and had to ask the cashier for plates to the bar and refills on drinks.

Sizzler is one of our go-to restaurants when we're on road trips through California. Always reliable in both the food quality and the atmosphere. Hard to beat the all-you-can-eat salad bar when you're traveling. Gets you in and out quickly with way better food than any of the fast food chains.

The food was excellent. The salad bar was a little torn up when we arrived but the bar attendant was on it, cleaning and stocking it. The hot food bar was picked over pretty good, but again, the attendant kept on it and filled what needed to be filled. We had the Steak and Unlimited Shrimp Dinner as well as a New York Strip Dinner, I believe. Everything came out perfectly cooked. We did have to wait a bit for clean plates as well as refills, but the food totally made up for the lack in service. So, kitchen staff and bar attendent, BRAVO...Keep up the good job! Front of house, you have some catching up to do! Overall, we enjoyed our outting here. We left full and satisfied! 👍🏽

Awesome food never disappointed with Sizzler's. It's been over 25 years since I've eaten at a Sizzler's. Service though was not good we had to get our own plates serval times. They refilled the soft drinks to only half way. Never came back to ask if we needed anything else. The manager was sitting in the booth next to us and he never said anything to his employers.

Always the best tender steaks... but the salad bar is falling short. Empty bins, cold soups and sparse dessert offerings made our visit regretful. Offering a worthless coupon that inticed us to visit only made our visit more disturbing. Certainly not what I expected. Good Luck 🌄

I have been eating at this Sizzler restaurant for over 40 years. The produce is generally very good and fresh. The salad bar used to have carnitas and it is sorely missed. The staff is friendly and works hard. The cooks generally do a good job with your order. Given the lack of quality buffets in the El Centro / Calexico area, this restaurant is a needed and beneficial addition to the local culinary options. Particularly now given that the Golden Corral has left the area.

It was a nice place the set up of the sitting. I didn't like the fact that our waiter spoke Spanish he wasn't rude but it would of been easier communicating if he spoke to me in English. I ordered chicken tenders for my son and I got less then expected, that was very disappointing.

Well I went at 4 pm. The hot food was old and cold. Never had good not tasted good. I have been to the sizzler for over 25 years. And after the covid. They stopped serving chicken wings. What's up with that.Now it's chicken nuggets. They don't taste good and they were cold!!!

Had to get my own refills and new salad bar plates. The waitress was not very helpful.

I grew yo down the street from this place. Never ate at this location until the other night. I habe been told that there ha e been good and bad times had there by many people. I wanted a steak and not have to pay an arm for it. Got what I wanted though. But when your steaks are tough at least have very sharp knives. I was nothing to write home about. Although they are trying to be better. Keep the salad bar better stocked including the soups and you'll have your dilemma fixed shortly.

We have been coming here for about 5 years. We missed last year and were looking forward to dinner at Sizzler El Centro. We were disappointed in the service and the cleanliness. We had to go to the counter to ask for plates and straws. Waiter was very late in helping us. The salad bar and dessert area was a mess. Food on the floor and all over the salad bar. The chocolate syrup container for the ice cream was sticky and a mess. I hope it gets cleaned up. This has always been a favorite place of ours. Miss the chicken wings.

We had the salad bar. Lots of options. 3 soups. Lots of creamed salads. The pineapple was excellent. The cantaloupe and tortilla chips crumbs had been left too long. The menudo was very salty. The lettuce and spinach were fresh. The spaghetti was cold but the marinara and meatballs were hot. We were there for lunch arriving around 1 pm

I go for the salad bar and cheese bread. I will say that the salad bar is clean, presentable and the items are fresh. The service is good. Always a treat for me. The staff is very friendly. Edit: The salad bar offerings seem to be going down hill, very slim pickings. Today they would not give us another slice of cheese toast. Not the same Sizzler I grew up with.

Salad bar needs attention, waiting too long for refill, waitres doesnt provide you with extra dishes.

First time here. Ordered the 6 in sirloin. Definitely didn’t get a 6 is steak. Very disappointed in the food. Mashed potatoes are instant. Not worth the hype for sure!

My daughter wanted a steak so we ended up here. Hadn’t eaten at Sizzler since I left the Bay Area in the mid 80s. First thing I noticed was the HEALTH CODE VIOLATION! The cashier grabbed the cups and scooped the ice into the cups thus contaminating the ice with her dirty money handling hands! I ordered the Crispy Bacon Burger well done with no sauce. But to no one’s surprise, the burger arrived with sauce! And it was a spicy sauce too! Yuck. I sent it back and then sat and watched my daughter eat while I waited for my food. My burger arrived in short order and while checking it for foreign matter, I noticed it had wilted lettuce and a sad slice of tomato. But the bacon, was in fact, crispy! After adding my mayo I took a bite. Damn! What a good tasting burger!! With wilted lettuce and all, it tasted really good and was cooked well done. What a pleasant surprise! The free bread was decent and my daughter thought her steak was excellent. However, she did mention that the mashed potatoes were just mediocre. Service was decent as the server filled up our water once. I was all set to give them one star but the taste of the burger and my daughter’s steak was excellent so I bumped it up two. I would definitely come back and let them try again to make a delicious meal on the first go around. And hopefully by then the manager will make sure they use the ice scoop that was next to the ice bin.

I asked for on stake, well done. But please don't overcook il. But they did it! It was overcooked, my daughter asked for on stake midium rare, and it was almost impossible to chew, too. The chicken was excellent, the butter bread too, and the mashed potatoes cold and looked like prepared one or two days ago. The dishes presentation was ...well, just see the plate, which is really average served in small portions in a huge plate.

Salad bar buffet is close till June 15th! Salad are still served but 1 time serve only for now will be back open on the June 25 2021. Menu on the wall when entering. Yes they are allowing dine in as well but limited spot do to covid safety reason . On they close at 8.30 pm .

I was disappointed in the El Centro Sizzler yesterday. After sitting at a booth the waiter came by after a few minutes to take our receipt but did not offer any extra plates for the salad bar nor did he offer any bread. There was 6 people in our party and we all had the all you can eat salad bar after waiting what seemed quite awhile we had to ask for the extra plates and bread. If they are not going to provide clean plates at the salad bar area they need to ensure the staff is providing adequate service to the customers. It was also extremely hot inside the restaurant seating area. I won't be going back until summer is over.

Personally, I didn’t like the food. It was very bland and not flavorful at all. Service was amazing. But the food is not good except the fries. And not many options at all.

More salad then anything. Not really anything that was in my idea good fresh food. Tacos were what you would find in a school cafeteria spaghetti was bland and meat balls were far from being real meat. Im sorry to say ill not be choosing this place for any more lunch. I would hope dinner is better but probably won't risk finding out. The staff however were very helpful and kind but food rates to low.

The food selection is great for the value. This is the second we come to the Sizzler were we see unattended children at the dessert station licking the desserts. The second time we were here we saw two little boys picking up the serving spoon for the bread pudding and bringing it to their mouth for tasting. Then, the other boy picked up the serving spoon for the pudding and bringing it to his nose to smell it. Disgusting, not to mention unhealthy. After seeing this we changed our minds about eating dessert. Parents: mind your children and walk them over to the buffet. Don't let them go by themselves since you can not see what they're doing while they are unattended from your view. Sizzler: PLEASE, PLEASE, post signs for parents to watch their children and ensure they accompany the children to the buffet & dessert stations. Management and servers: pay attention. If you see unattended children walk them back to their parents.

It was a poor experience because the AC was not popularly functioning and the servers were not on their job of serving. Food was OK. Wont be going back.

We have eaten here frequently when we oass through on our way to San Felipe. It has gone downhill since our last visit. The steak was very good but the salad bar was mixed. The salads were good but not the barely warm, dried out spaghetti and the lukewarm marinara. The ground beef for the tacos was tiny bits of meat floating in an oily mess. The toast was a greasy and disappointing. Brownies were dried out but they had good toppings for the ice cream. The pluses - the food service areas were all very clean, plates, silverware, counters, tables and chairs were all clean. The negatives - walls high up are dirty, the bathroom floor was sticky and even though our waitress was sweeping and attempting to clean up the carpets were kind of disgusting matted and stained, because people are slobs.

I seldom right reviews but this one need to be said my wife and I are in there at 402 pm said we would like to salad lunch. Buffets....nope ends at 4 oh okay great no problem what the difference .Aberdeen the 2 lunch and dinner I ask she said just the price....okay so paid the extra 4 dollars each in hopes a new round of the same food would come out free nope it was not had to ask 3 times in 20 minute stand to get chips for nacho bar. Meat Hadno flavor cheese I almost want to say it's powdered cheese. Wife bite into a perfectly round chicken nugget wrong answer bit into a wing and chiped a tooth. Service the server that came by was nice enough girl behind Cash register. Need some professional development traing. An extra star was given for dessert bar minus no spoons at the bar . Carpet and decor is very old and dated and carpets look black! ,wasn't worth the 40 hard earned dollars honestly keep your money and try Something locally owned instead..,... ¡》D

First time I've ever been to this. Location the food was so sad the salad bar was extremely dirty and unattended smaller children were grabbing food from the salad bar with Their hands waited forever to get two meals served and it wasn't crowded .They are extremely over priced and the atmosphere was stagnate and unwelcoming with no employees in sight to refresh your drink and get steak sauce

Food was ok but the server looked just mad and not wanting to be there. I understand we have jobs to survive and life is exhausting but if you work in customer service we at least have to put up a face to get good enough tips. I worked in restaurants most of my teenage years and yes, I hated it but never got a complain because I faked it until I made it!

Terrible service. My family and I arrived a little before the salad bar and buffet were taken away and they charged us full price after we sat down they told us grab what you'll eat now because we are taking it away. They should've notified us before we paid so we coould choose of we wanted to pay for it.

I wasn't too impressed of the over-priced salad bar for dinner hours which starts at 4pm. The bad quality of what they offer on the salad bar and slow service, not worth what they are charging. Greek salad and the Caesar salad was on the soggy side. The clam chowder was clumpy and tasted like it was sitting there from yesterday. Carnitas was stale and dry. Guacamole was half guacamole and half of a avocado and avocado chunks. Picco de gallo was moody and was not fresh. Waited for another salad plate which felt like hours which I already lost my appetite and left very disappointed. Never coming back.

This is my second time I go to this local zizler... The customer service was awful.. the waitress within an hour he was rushing us out ..i was very disappointed.. we got the salad bar all you can eat.. I noticed that they don't like customer to stay for long.. some times you want to eat an relax the food... Never never go back..

I'm fine with the high prices, what I'm not ok with is the constant harassment! The manager or owner, who ever seemed to be in charge this evening, literally sat adjacent to us and kept a watchful eye on us. I don't know if it was because we had 5 kids in our party or what, but it was seriously annoying. Our waitress was pretty much rushing us out...it was definitely uncomfortable! We know what time they close and we were out 15 mins before 9pm. I think this is the last time we will go.

Horrible tasting food. Staff not enforcing the mask policy to customers. Big sign says mask must be on for the salad bar. Customers going up to the salad bar maskless, nothing said to them. No star rating. Will not go back. Watered down cheese saucr3 for the nachos. Ground beef no taste for the tacos. Loud staff.

Really disturbing to see an employee pick up chicken and put it back with the rest with a dirty gloved hand after he was just using a rag to clean! He looked over at us to see if we saw. We did. Cashier did too but nothing was done. They left the bowl there. I thought maybe he did it bc they were throwing out the old food. Nope. I couldn't say anything to our server bc it was so embarrassing and gross and he was beyond amazing with his service. We paid $40 and the food was cold to the touch, flies on desserts. I had seen enough. This will be our last visit here. Cesar was a great server but that's not enough if they don't practice any food safety.

Its no wonder why so many sizzlers go out of business. My first time to one in years and the rudeness from the staff far to much. The front counter lady saw us waiting and still helped someone else who was already sitting and practically done with there meal. After that we had no trouble finding a place to sit and thats when I should've gotten the hint to get out of this fast-food establishment masquerading as a restaurant. As we were waiting to our server to make his first cameo entrance we had enough time to finish our drinks. When he finally did make his entrance he was a quiet and expected me to know what I was supposed to do apparently I have to hand him the receipt thanks for letting me know with your silence. Still have to wait for him to bring the food bring the sauces and then bring our refill. The server didn't even come back to check on us once until the very end when he dropped off refills when I had finished my very last bite of food. It is apparent to me that sizzlers is the next blockbusters

1.) Don't order the Fettuccine Alfredo, it's terrible. It's slimey, shrimp is either over/under cooked, and the noodles are down right paper thin. 2.) They didn't bring my water until 20 minutes after I asked for one. 3.) Waitress got a little attitude with me after I called out their service. Overall, don't come here, just go to the Wendy's next door.

Food was great however the cashier Ruby was extremely unfriendly and rude. She was annoyed by simple questions and made the ordering process unpleasant.

The manager was rude. My wife and I both have had bariatric surgery. He would not let us share a 6 ounce steak. They wanted to charge for 2 larger steaks. That did not happen. Told him we would just leave.

Wow, what a disappointment. The Hostess was not very welcoming, complained about having to be busy. I said,, " It's a good thing don't you think"? She frowned. The waiter forgot items and also frowned at having to be asked for more condiments and the manager had a bad attitude. Let's not talk about the food. I'll just say I could have cooked a better meal. Don’t go there and completely not recommended. I feel one star is too much for this bad restaurant,, shame on me to go this place and order a huge order for me and my family exceed $80. The worst customer service ever and the manager is completely crazy because he didn’t give us boxes to go although we order separate different orders. We did not order an open bofeh or use even the salad bar to give him a reason to not giving us boxes. First and last time going to this bad place

My daughter and wife saw a roach on the salad bar! We mentioned it to the cashier. They went over to look but did nothin. I can't recommend this place.

The lady at the register told us there was only salad in the buffet so if we wanted salad and food we had to order it separately which was not true, overcharged us a bit, the chicken was hard and the potato cold, good service apart from that.

While I was eating, the waitress started brooming the carpet. She raised a cloud of dirt. I felt the dirt in my mouth and nose and my allergies started. Horrible service, how can they not know that is not correct. Nobody wants to eat inside a cloud of dirt, mold, and who knows what. No going back.

Good food. Zero stars for poor Service from store manager. We came in with 4 people but our five year old boy wasn’t eating. We ordered 3 meals and wanted to add on salad bar for my mom. Instead of the $7 or $6 salad bar add-on, we were charge $13.99 for separate salad bar. We didn’t realize about the charge until after and asked the store manager about it. He was rude about it insisting the charge was correct because we had 4 people even though our boy wasn’t eating. That made absolute no sense. We ain’t coming back here for that kind of service.

We were terribly disappointed. They no longer offer customers to add on the one trip Salad bar to a main entree for a discounted price. The prices have gone up substantially while the quality of food has gone down. As an example: The clam chowder used to be delicious but now it is extremely watered down. And rather than offering chicken wings they offer processed chicken nuggets at the salad bar. On the upside, our waitress was very friendly.

This was about the worst experience ever. Especially when manager doesn’t even offer to make things right. Came with family of five. Everything looked ok. I ordered ribs. They had three on top and I assumed three underneath. When I finished the three on top, the three in the bottom were already deboned. Thought it was strange. And then the second piece of bread had some definite bite marks. Really? Went to talk to manager and he said that’s the way the bread comes out sometimes. Couldn’t finish the meal just thinking about it. Absolutely terrible. Others food was good but I cannot believe manager had the audacity to insinuate that’s the way the food comes out sometimes

Ordered a sirloin steak. Ask for med rare for the steak it was medium well. I sent it back and it was still not right. I spent 18 dollars for the steak. Don't waste your money. Server wasn't really paying attention. Also order a water never got it. Burgers are frozen patties please if u read all the good comments there not real for real don't go to sizzlers

My mother and my disabled grandmother went to have dinner there at around 4. Their waitress a heavy set hispanic woman totally ignore them and was rude. She refused to do her job. There was a nice gentleman that did her job and gave my mother clean plates. It is a shame you have people like that woman working at your restaurant.

The kitchen could not get an order right, the salad bar had a few fresh options that were ok, but the soup tasted old, the other hot food options on the salad bar were well past their prime, the ice cream/desert portion of the salad bar was mislabeled and completely intermingled, sticky and gross. The floor was so dirty. The waiter could not understand us and we could not communicate clearly with him. Food was cold and such poor quality. It's been years since I've been to Sizzler's and we thought the Google rating might indicate that it was ok. Not so. If you care about quality or cleanliness at all, do not go here.

The food was terrible, the salad bar chicken and other hot foods were hard like they sat there all day. The steaks were tough and salty and the waitress gave us terrible service. If I want Sizzler again in the future I'll go out of town to get it. This place in El Centro, CA has gone down the toilet. Never again. 100 dollars lost on horrible food and service.

My mother who's 89 yrs and I went for dinner to sizzler , after a busy day, we went to eat dinner, but to my surprised, we were treated so bad by this waitress who didn't and never brought us any plates and was very rude to my elderly mom and to me, she was good to certain people but to us she refused to serve us completely, the one who cleans the table was the one who served us and was polite , I guess she has her favorites and doesn't like to serve the elderly, maybe if she doesn't like to work with elderly she should look for another type of work and needs to stop being so rude! After talking to the manager he was just as rude as his waitress! This Sizzler needs some etiquette in dealing with people and more efficient in customer service , the food buffet needs to be more clean and the spoons to be constantly clean which are not! I will not be going anymore to this disgusting place that treated my mother so rudely!
