It's a small authentic restaurant. The chips and salsa are complimentary and great, so everyone is going to experience that. The staff is friendly and fast. The food was really good. We bought 3 separate dishes for my group and they were all really good. The bathrooms were clean as well.

Honestly, this might be the best Mexican food in SoCal. The chips and salsa they start with is perfectly enticing. Tasty and spicy without being too hot. They've got another, hotter hot sauce that speeds it up the perfect amount once you get your food. BEST surf&turf burrito I've EVER had. Plus, she ALWAYS remembers that it's exactly what I want, right down to the doble tortilla. It's like being family. Top tip- if you finish your food like a good boy, you can walk on over to Conchitas for some pan de huevo! (Obviously, not in the middle of an El Centro summer, baboso!)

I really love the food. I love the taste of a homemade food, very delicious. Tacos de borrego are also very delicious and they served you with a lot amount of food.

Wow, this place the food is authentic. I'll put it like this if you put a gun to my head while I was eating the Surf n Turf burrito and told me. " If you take another bite, I'll blow your brains out." You would find me with a burrito in my mouth, a bullet in my head cause this food is literally to die for on god. It's just so rare to even get good Mexican food 😩 I really love the food!!!! It's insane!

The chips and salsa are great; the salsa has a really lovely, smokiness. The California burrito is sizeable and phenomenal. Wonderful chicken fajitas with awesome tortillas.

I from South Texas, where we are surrounded by Authentic Mexican food and the food from this place was more than Authentic food, it was delicious and unique in every aspect. I highly recommend this restaurant. 🥰🥰

Got the sopes with avocado slices added and they were great and very reasonably priced. When you sit on your table they also give you chips and an amazing salsa that is great to top your sopes or other dishes with.

I went for the first time to get a Caldito de pollo (Chicken soup) for my husband, and I got myself a Chile Relleno omelet. Both meals were pretty good. I ordered to go and I waited about 20min, the lady who helped was pretty nice and even helped me carry the food to my car because I had my baby with me. All the ladies there were really kind and attentive and food is good, totally recommend.

Some of these reviews I see on here are about the food going downhill or being just ok are ridiculous. We literally have been going here for almost 5 years as a stop on the way to AZ and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. We have had the ceviche, California burritos, tacos al pastor and menudo and they we all cooked to perfection and the portions were phenomenal. They have a superb homemade salsa and their iced tea is one of the most refreshing I’ve ever had. It’s a lime as opposed to lemon tea and great after a long road trip. The meat used in their burritos doesn’t have a ton of gristle and the ceviche is fresh. Don’t know what else you can ask for. I have hit this place on the way to AZ and then on the way back to CA, it’s just that good.

It’s a stacked Saturday morning but the servers never failed to acknowledge us and tend to our needs. This is a great family spot.

YOU absolutely have to eat here if you are in El C and hungry. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes. So respectful to my parents!

Food was excellent. Small place. The employees were nice. Hard workers. At the time I went it was very busy. I waited for 30mins for a pick up order but at the end I got my food and the food was excellent. I think I would just go and eat at the resturant instead of ordering take out food go and have some good authentic Mexican food.

Delightfully surprised!! I haven’t been here in YEARS….. like 15. My husband and I stopped in at 12 noon on Saturday, 01/28/2023 and had a late breakfast. I had chicken chiliquilles with beans and he had a combo plate of chiliquilles, eggs, beans, rice. We both really enjoyed our food. Everything was hot, seasoned, and cooked just right . The chicken practically melted in my mouth. The employees were happy, attentive, helpful, and always found something to keep them busy. The building itself is older but clean. Tables are somewhat close together. Go. Enjoy!

Letty's is a small restaurant and given the good reviews, I suspect it gets busy. We arrived early so it wasn't a problem. The food had different tastes than we are used to - I liked it, my companion didn't. We agreed the chips and salsa were excellent. My carnitas were deep fried chunks of pork - I am more used to shredded pork. But the flavor was good. Service was quick and friendly and the food came fairly quickly.

Food was excellent. Service ? Ah, handling of drinks and such needs to be improved. Setting drink cans in glasses on top of ice---Should not happen. That is one of the stupidest things I have seen.

Chose this place due to the highest rating in El Centro. I was passing through and wanted some authentic fish tacos. I was disappointed.... The rice and beans were good, but the fish tacos lacked any sort of flavour. Maybe their meat dishes are good but sadly im a vegetarian and only eat seafood, The fish was bland, the toppings were ok, but didn't do much to overtake the disappointing fish. 4 out of 5 because the ingredients were fresh, the rice and beans were really the star for me and I would venture a guess that their meats are good, but I'd stay away from the fish.

Typical hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant with about 30 seats. the food is nothing spectacular, the service is very nice.

The California burritos were great. The surf and turf burrito came with burned-literally black/charred meat. The service was terrible. They took our order and then ignored us for almost an hour. I had to get up and ask for things we needed at our table once our food finally came. We were only a party of 3, so we only ordered 3 burritos, it shouldn't have taken that long and they were not apologetic when we mentioned it to them.

This restaurant typically is closed on Sundays and we live out of the area. So we drove for more than an hour on a Saturday when we knew they would be open to find a hand writen sign that they were closed on a Saturday. Even they're hours listed online showed they were open. For a local who lives in the area it's not a big deal. But for someone who lives put of the area and purposely drove just to come to this place..
