I just followed the advice I saw here that said something about Borrego... I got the burrito and was to die for!! Seriously, what a delicious surprise for my palate. I ordered the Carnitas Plate which is 2 Carnitas tacos with fresh guacamole, a side of mexican red rice, refried beans, and a small portion of lettuce and tomatoes to add to your tacos as preffered. Everything was great! They do take a bit to prepare the food but that's how you know it's fresh...... and as the saying goes patience always pays off.

I only came here to buy caldo de Pollo because my little chihuahua loves the chicken 🍗 soup from this location and as I passed he started barking and since my little chihuahua has a human soul inside of him I need to feed him the best caldo de Pollo. I stopped here for breakfast on a whim and omg it is good. Everything was made fresh, it beats anything from my hometown. I usually don't stop in El Centro but I'm pretty sure I'll come back.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Valley. The food is delicious, the prices are great, and the service is phenomenal. The very few times I've had a longer wait, it was because the restaurant was full, and I know they're making plates fresh every time. Fast food is fast food for a reason; I hope people can realize that and appreciate the value in waiting for a scrumptious dish. My go-to recommendation are tacos de borrego, and I've yet to be disappointed when trying a new dish. Seriously, if you're in the Imperial Valley, you've got to try Letty's Casita.

This is a fantastic spot. Everyone was extremely friendly and they were patient with my attempts at speaking Spanish. The food was fantastic. I loved the enchiladas poblanos and my wife and kid loved the carne asada. The place has a fantastic hometown feel and again, the people there are absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to go again!

I went in on a rainy day it was chilly out. This place had that grandma's kitchen feel and flavor. I order the chicken soup you could taste the home made broth . So delicious I felt great after that soup.it came with a small portion of rice and tortillas very reasonable prices I highly recommend a visit .

Very good food. My husband had 2 ground beef soft tacos that were big and stuffed with product. My chile relleno was big and the egg/breading was not too thick with good amount of cheese . My shredded beef enchilada was served with an excellent salsa verde. All at a reasonable price. We were sad that they use breaded fish on their fish tacos so we couldn't have them.

Vegetarian gringa from Tucson here - got the chili relleno plate, quesadilla and horchata to go on our drive to San Diego, and I'm so glad we did. Yummy tortillas. I don't recall being to this place before, though my wife begs to differ. I really enjoyed my breakfast along with the lemonade I ordered. The service was great and so was the food. The flavors reminded me of my childhood. I recommend this place for a homey meal.

Stopped here during our drive back to Phoenix from San Diego...... Amazing food. The wait is a bit, but we'll worth it. Food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. Definitely a must stop if you are passing through the area.

Still has very friendly service. The quality of the food is not as good as it used to be. The portions are somewhat smaller. However, it doesn't matter since the food had a "lard" aftertaste. Upon my return this month(May) it was great to still fine the same great service. However, and in all fairness, Letty's returned to their old recipes and the portions and quality were excellent. I recommend that viewers try out this authentic Mexican food restaurant.

It's a small authentic restaurant. The chips and salsa are complimentary and great, so everyone is going to experience that. The staff is friendly and fast. The food was really good. We bought 3 separate dishes for my group and they were all really good. The bathrooms were clean as well.

Honestly, this might be the best Mexican food in SoCal. The chips and salsa they start with is perfectly enticing. Tasty and spicy without being too hot. They've got another, hotter hot sauce that speeds it up the perfect amount once you get your food. BEST surf&turf burrito I've EVER had. Plus, she ALWAYS remembers that it's exactly what I want, right down to the doble tortilla. It's like being family. Top tip- if you finish your food like a good boy, you can walk on over to Conchitas for some pan de huevo! (Obviously, not in the middle of an El Centro summer, baboso!)

We have had the ceviche, California burritos, tacos al pastor and menudo and they we all cooked to perfection and the portions were phenomenal. They have a superb homemade salsa and their iced tea is one of the most refreshing I’ve ever had. It’s a lime as opposed to lemon tea and great after a long road trip. The meat used in their burritos doesn’t have a ton of gristle and the ceviche is fresh. Don’t know what else you can ask for. I have hit this place on the way to AZ and then on the way back to CA, it’s just that good.

Delightfully surprised!! I haven’t been here in YEARS….. like 15. My husband and I stopped in at 12 noon on Saturday, 01/28/2023 and had a late breakfast. I had chicken chiliquilles with beans and he had a combo plate of chiliquilles, eggs, beans, rice. We both really enjoyed our food. Everything was hot, seasoned, and cooked just right . The chicken practically melted in my mouth. The employees were happy, attentive, helpful, and always found something to keep them busy. The building itself is older but clean. Tables are somewhat close together. Go. Enjoy!

Letty's is a small restaurant and given the good reviews, I suspect it gets busy. We arrived early so it wasn't a problem. The food had different tastes than we are used to - I liked it, my companion didn't. We agreed the chips and salsa were excellent. My carnitas were deep fried chunks of pork - I am more used to shredded pork. But the flavor was good. Service was quick and friendly and the food came fairly quickly.

Food was excellent. Service ? Ah, handling of drinks and such needs to be improved. Setting drink cans in glasses on top of ice---Should not happen. That is one of the stupidest things I have seen.

Chose this place due to the highest rating in El Centro. I was passing through and wanted some authentic fish tacos. I was disappointed.... The rice and beans were good, but the fish tacos lacked any sort of flavour. Maybe their meat dishes are good but sadly im a vegetarian and only eat seafood, The fish was bland, the toppings were ok, but didn't do much to overtake the disappointing fish. 4 out of 5 because the ingredients were fresh, the rice and beans were really the star for me and I would venture a guess that their meats are good, but I'd stay away from the fish.

Sometimes, it feels like the person on the phone doesn't care honestly about what it it is that you are inquiring to eat. Especially, if you live in the same block as their business is on, just on the other side of the street. It becomes furthermore embarrassing, when you take into account that around every 2 weeks, for about 3yrs ordering the same thing each time, (with minor changes), just to receive the order with no resemblance of the food I had previously ordered. But on a high note: their have a bomb ground beef burrito/taco that is worth the complaining, traveling back and forth, again and agoin. 3.5 stats if it were possible. No more than that because, it seems, when I walk in, I'm being mean mugged by everyone in the place, either awaiting they're order, or is awaiting to order. Even the workers, when they see me, they appear to be mean mugging as well. But,...I digress, let's return to that ground beef... XD

I've had Letty's in the past for their $6.50 Friday carne asada burrito special, and the service was great in the past. This last time I went, the service was lacking; it took the servers a while to notice us and give us menus. It took at least 20 mins for them to give us waters, and I had to be the one to go up and ask for cups of water. We ordered, and while the food came out in a decent amount of time, I asked for a side of sour cream that took the server a long time to give to me. By the time I got it, my family was already done with their food, my burrito was cold, and never once did the servers come to check on us to see if we needed anything else. I love this place, but I was frustrated and disappointed by this latest experience.

The California burritos were great. The surf and turf burrito came with burned-literally black/charred meat. The service was terrible. They took our order and then ignored us for almost an hour. I had to get up and ask for things we needed at our table once our food finally came. We were only a party of 3, so we only ordered 3 burritos, it shouldn't have taken that long and they were not apologetic when we mentioned it to them.

Wanted to try their food. Sat down waited for ever to get a menu. Never came back to take my order so I left. Went to SoBes it was great service and great food.

Maybe they had an off day. The customer service was fine, but my wife and I had the carnitas platter, and carnitas burrito, respectively. I could not stomach either. The meat was dry, and tasted rancid. The cilantro did not carry any resemblance to the expected flavor, and was soggy. The beans were watered down. All in all a horrendous meal.

This restaurant typically is closed on Sundays and we live out of the area. So we drove for more than an hour on a Saturday when we knew they would be open to find a hand writen sign that they were closed on a Saturday. Even they're hours listed online showed they were open. For a local who lives in the area it's not a big deal. But for someone who lives put of the area and purposely drove just to come to this place..
