Contrario a lo que mucha gente opina, este es un restaurante excelente con precios accesibles y muy rica comida. He venido en 4 ocasiones y el plato de carnitas lo dan con mas de una libra de carnitas suavecitas, pico de gallo, arrozy frijoles. Los tacos de barbacoa son 5 y te llevan guacamole, cebolla,cilantro y limones. El caldo de res es un plato enorme y muy rico. Los tacos de tripitas son deliciosos con sus tripitas muy doradas y el pastel de 3 leches no esta empalagoso y sirve para compartir entre 3 personas porque es muy grande. La musica es agradable y las meseras tambien...que mas puede uno pedir?

My tia and myself don't care for very spicy enchiladas. They made it so it was slightly spicy. Only Excellent chefs can figure this out. If you are an American that doesn't want the food too spicy 🔥 these restaurant is your place to go. I was raised on Tex Mex food and hated any spice growing up. Now i have gerd and diverticulitis. So if they can make it with little spice without me sending it back you have a 5 star cook in the back. They are vegetarian Orientated. The rice even has a nice mix of finely chopped zucchini and carrot. Just enough to add a nice flavor and presentation. In case you are wondering i am a 40 year chef myself. This place is extremely clean. I have been by here on a Sunday when they clean. Excellent cleaning practices. I never feel any sticky tables and no dusty floors. The restaurant always feels and smells a neutral freshness. I love the small tv and the moderately loud Mexican band. Very well done and not intrusive so you can't hear your company talk while you eat. This is a very family friendly place. Bring all your kids even the young ones. The pricing and menu offers all levels of income and availability of Mexican food. The waitresses and very attentive to your needs and plenty of check backs without ask every time. They watch and do it with out being creepy. Enjoy this place with your whole family. They definitely deserve your loyalty as a customer. Always the same cleanliness, moderate speed( this isn't a fast food place) but fast enough for great take out if you have to bring home to the elderly and family or just need home-made food without a long wait. Yes i do know high quality food, service and cleanliness. I give it 5 stars rating and i would even hire this staff in my own 5 star restaurant.

Tried this restaurant for the 1st time. The food was better than i expected, I had the flautas and my mom had the gorditas. Both plates were really good. The service was good as well but the atmoshere does need a little more work.

As a vegetarian, I am looking for things like cheese enchiladas and chile rellenos. This place has the best cheese enchiladas I've found in El Paso. In fact, I keep ordering them and haven't even tried the chile rellenos yet!

Les falta un poco de sazón a los guisados , en buffet les falta tenerlo surtido por ejemplo se está terminando el menudo y tardan tiempo en surtirlo lo surte y no hay pan .

I've been here twice. The first time I got a cochinita pibil plate and everything was great including the service. It was lunch time on a weekday so they had live music. The other great thing to try are the desserts. My second time in the morning that's why the 4 stars, the service lacked efficiency, the waiting times were long because they left one waitress alone. I had menudo, which was great, not spicy at all so you can prepare as you like. In regard to the space it's nice with big fans and good sound. It has parking which in downtown is a must. They speak English and Spanish. I would update later

Went to cure a hangover definitely did not dissapoint. The menudo could've used a little more flavor but the quesabirria tacos were amazing. Will definitely eat here again.

I was there with a large group for a going away party. Everyone ate the buffet. Some of the members of the group thought the food was very good and authentic. I thought it was mediocre at best. I usually like buffets but this one was disappointing. The roasted chicken was good but stone cold. The refried beans were super runny. The rice was good but not exceptional, just rice. The arroz con leche was basically 80% milk 20% rice with a barely discernable hint of cinnamon and sweetness. The only standout for me was the green chile pork stew, which was quite good over the rice. It was $13 plus tip. I don't plan to return. But to be fair, as I said, others in the group enjoyed it.

Things were so much better with the buffet, there was more variety, the food was more flavorful, and there was a desert menu. Why change a good thing? My carnitas were 90% fat, and things have become mediocre.

The food is good, but the customer service could be a bit better. They need friendlier staff. Waitresses look like they do not want to be there and it shows in their service.

Went in because on the window it said "Taco Tuesday 1.50 tacos. Menu said 2.50 so we thought "it's a good deal. Went to check out and to our surprise tacos ran 2.75 .Wow the lady said the 1.50 is on select tacos and the 2.50 on the menu was the old price. How was I to know. Won't be going back.

Predatory and Shameful Business Practice If you’re thinking about parking here during any event, don’t. This restaurant pulled one of the most blatant money grabs I have ever seen. There were zero indications there was a charge, and absolutely no warning that we’d be ambushed for money just to leave. When we returned from the Christmas parade, an event that should’ve been joyful, they cornered me and my 85 year old father and demanded $50 to let us out, threatening to tow us if we didn’t pay on the spot. Extortion is a strong word, but if the shoe fits… This wasn’t a misunderstanding. This was predatory, deceptive, and downright shameful. Any business that relies on surprise fees and intimidation instead of honesty and customer service should be embarrassed to have its doors open. Do better. Or at the very least, put up a sign so people know they’re walking into a trap. Español: Si estás pensando en estacionar aquí durante algún evento, no lo hagas. Este restaurante realizó una de las maniobras para sacar dinero más descaradas que he visto. No había ningún letrero indicando de que había un cargo y absolutamente ninguna advertencia de que nos emboscarían para cobrarnos simplemente por salir. Cuando regresamos del desfile navideño—un evento que debería haber sido alegre—nos acorralaron a mí y a mi padre de 85 años y exigieron $50 para dejarnos salir, amenazando con remolcar el auto si no pagábamos de inmediato. Extorsión es una palabra fuerte, pero si la bota encaja… Esto no fue un malentendido. Fue depredador, engañoso y totalmente vergonzoso. Cualquier negocio que dependa de cargos sorpresa e intimidación en lugar de honestidad y servicio al cliente debería avergonzarse de mantener sus puertas abiertas. Mejoren. O por lo menos, pongan un letrero para que la gente sepa que está entrando en una trampa.

El buffet era más liquido que comida(frijoles, carnes,etc) la fruta de hace dias y los tacos de pastor que ordené sin palabras me molesto demasiado de muy mal gusto se contaba los trozos de carne solo desperdiciamos el dinero

Primero que nada las carnitas parecen que estan quemadas y tambien como se les acurre dar un plato de carnitas sin tortillas, la verdad no lo recomiendo, mejor gasten su dinero en otro lado que si valga la pena.. y las papas que vienen con la torta saven malas no saven buenas.... em otras palabras este lugar no sirve mejor cierrenlo

This had to have been the worse mexican food I have had in a while and terrible service my husband got a burrito of fajitas and there was a piece of plastic in his burrito so we asked them to remove the burrito we were not going to pay for it and the lady sat there arguing with us saying we had to pay for it because we took a bite of it even though it was their fault we were not able to eat it also the menudo and barbacoa was super greasy and had almost all fat will not be going back even if the food is free

Food was not good. Everything was chile verde and chile Colorado. There was too much fat left on meat. Food was not hot enough. The buffet was not good. During breakfast. There was no soap to wash hands in men’s restroom. I asked the server but never got it done.

I recently started coming here first few times it was enjoyable. This last time horrible service and food. Waitress was walking around with her phone on one hand while bring our food to the table. I ordered a Chile relleno plate and one of the Chile rellenos was raw and hard. I ask the Waitress and supposed manager in charge if they can change it for one that was cooked fully. I was told I couldn't change it that they all come out raw. Manager was rude and didn't find a solution for the problem. He also didn't want to give us his name.
