Food is delicious and reasonable priced. Complimentary chips and salsa are the bomb. Service was great. Sometimes do the brunch buffet which is delicious but can be too much if you're not that hungry. We go there quite often and will continue to do so.

I honestly wish I would have taken pictures of our food before we ate, but just know there was NONE left! My family and I have been trying new places for the last 9 months and we all agreed this is the best place we’ve been to so far and we will definitely be back! Already recommended this place to our family, and highly recommend to anyone else who has not tried it yet! From the moment we came in, to leaving we were given the most amazing service! The food was absolutely perfect! We almost didn’t want to leave! Thank you for giving us the best experience!
Stopped by here today and we're absolutely amazed at the quality of the food and the overall experience! I would absolutely recommend Mi Pueblito Cafe to anyone, no matter what distance you are from here, I promise you, it will be well worth it!!! Everything from the moment we arrived was absolutely exceptional, the people are friendly, the food is delicious. THIS PLACE HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN ALL OF EL PASO!!!
Many great things about this restaurant. I hate buffets because everyone is touching things and I just feel like it’s disgusting and I stay away from them. This place is different, I love the fact that they have someone to serve you at the buffet. The food was delicious, wasn’t greasy, the eggs are cooked right when you ask them. Will be coming back for sure.
Really delicious Mexican food and yummy homemade aguas frescas. They recently introduced a NEW “Comida Corrida” buffet M-F from 11a-2p. It is very delicious - posted photos below. They have 3 types of soups (caldo de res, fideo, and pollo), they have rice/beans, red enchiladas, green enchiladas, beef flautas, and tacos de molida! All of it was very delicious.
We came here from Dallas, Texas and did want to go out to eat breakfast and I was looking at the restaurants near me and found this one. My husband want it to try Ihop instead but I told hum that I wanted to try a restaurant from El Paso, TX. And so we came here and did not disappoint us. Is a very cozy and familiar environment. We got the buffet for $14 and everything was good and warm. My husband loved the menudo a lot; he got two plates. I loved the decoration and that it has a family restroom so I could go in with my toddler. I 100% recommend this place. And I am pretty sure we will be back one day!
It was my first time visiting MI Pueblito. It's kind of hidden but worth going. The food wad delicious and the sauce for the enchiladas was on point and homemade. I was able to get half green and half red. It was so good, I'm definitely going back. The staff is super friendly and answered all my questions. She gave us a taste I'd the enchiladas sauce to see if we would like to order them. I'm looking forward to going there again soon and trying their comida corrida.
Went to Mi Pueblito for a family breakfast on Saturday. There was no wait to get seated and the service was outstanding. The food was great - they have a menu as well as a buffet option. I forgot to take pictures of the food, but everything looked and tasted delicious. The red chilaquiles are spicier than the green, but both are delicious. My sister’s favorite Mexican restaurant and I agree. I will say, the parking lot is a bit small - we had to park on the next door lot, but it didn’t appear they are tow away zones.
First time here. I've seen it many times driving past but never stopped in until today. We tried to stop on a Tuesday but they close early Sunday through Wednesday. Great place. Quiet and well decorated. I ordered the Mexican plate - enchilada, taco, and chile relleno with rice and beans - and it was scrumptious! My wife had the grilled fish and loved it. Didn't ask about dessert because we were stuffed. Highly recommended. Great service, good food (and lots of it!), reasonable prices. Stop in. You won't be disappointed.
Love finding new spots where I can get my comfort Mexican food fix. The food is excellent and the restaurant is very cozy and well-decorated; not the usual cheesy sarape stuff. Good music: not the stereotypical Mariachi music. I love Mariachis at parties but not while trying to have a quiet conversation. Extremely clean too. Service top notch.
Update - 06/06 The menudo is still on point... the enchiladas are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the service is great and the atmosphere is soothing to the soul... I didn't get to see the owner... maybe next time... The owner has beautiful hazel eyes... Do I need to say more??? But honestly the food is good the service is excellent... try the menudo one of my go too... today I tried the caldo de rez and holly molly they use humungous freaking carrots... the meat was soft and cooked to perfection... but once just once I would like a waiter/waitress to ask me a question when I don't have food in my mouth while looking like a fat kid who hasn't eating in weeks and who's waiting to swallow so he can breath... is that to much to ask for???
Service: Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our server never introduced themselves, so I’m still unsure who was assigned to our table. We waited quite a while for coffee and soda refills and had to flag someone down multiple times. It felt as though staff were intentionally avoiding eye contact, even though it was obvious we were trying to get assistance. We also requested three flour tortillas but were first given corn tortillas, and when the flour tortillas finally arrived, there were only two. Overall, the service could benefit from retraining and better attentiveness to guests. Food: The food itself was excellent—10/10 in terms of flavor. No complaints there. However, I do wish the buffet were self-serve or at least presented more openly. Instead, one staff member was responsible for serving all buffet items, plus running both the menudo and omelet stations. This caused delays and made the experience feel less smooth than expected. Management: Toward the end of our visit, the owner stopped by our table to introduce himself and check on us. I appreciated this personal touch and his effort to make things right. Overall: The food was outstanding, but the service and setup need improvement to match the quality of the kitchen. With more attentive staff and a streamlined buffet process, this place could easily become a go-to breakfast spot.
First time going here the service was terrible. First they sat us where air conditioning was on in the winter. So I asked if we could please move the girl not our waitress made us feel like we are a bother. Second took 20 minutes before waitress came to take our order. Then we ordered our food took 20 minutes to get to us mine came first my husband waited another 10 for his. There were about 3 couples in the whole restaurant. There should be no reason for the horrible service.. I had to keep flagging down any one to give m3 some to go boxes. Which took forever. Then had to flag down again to get a bag order a dessert and asked for my receipt sane girl who moved us to another table. This girl had such a negative attit use. Would not recommend this restaurant. Horrible.
We were very disappointed . We asked for potato tacos and they're made with french fries little pieces of fried potato. Potato tacos are supposed to be with mashed potatoes. The picadio tacos the meat was burnt . And the refried beans are canned beans. Very disappointed for a Mexican restaurant nothing is authentic nothing is fresh especially the beans. I asked for a plate a chicharrones I asked the waitress do they season them well,do they have good flavor , i asked her. and she said yes . So I believe that they were made fresh. fryed . They're literally the chicharrones you buy from a bag at the grocery store they never cook them they never fry them she should have told me that instead of telling me that they are seasoned well. By her telling me they have good flavor I assumed it was fresh. I never imagined that they were going to buy them from a bag and pour them in a container for you and when I asked the gentleman that greets you at the door he says it's an appetizer it doesn't matter if it's an appetizer you advertise authentic food not canned food . I thought they were going to cook them but nothing is fresh. We literally told him we weren't eating anything and we weren't taking anything and they still charged us except for Grandma's tacos. I'm hoping the capirutada taste good. it looks good. but we lost our appetite. We will never return there I do not recommend this place to anybody it is beautiful it looks very nice inside very very pretty but the food is caned food . nothing fresh .would not recommend this to anybody and it's expensive in there. You have to speak Spanish to the waitress cuz they don't speak English but it's okay. the one we had on our table did not speak a word of English which is okay we speak Spanish but she doesn't have to lie to us. She told us the beans are made fresh. if you ever cooked beans and you bought a can of beans you can see the difference you can taste the difference and they still try to tell us they were made fresh no there Rosarita can beans no doubt about it. My grandma owned her own restaurant she was just grossed out she didn't eat a bite. she said never ever will i go back there. I do not recommend this place to anybody. Unless you don't mind eating canned beans and store-bought chicharron it is not made fresh or french fries in your tacos instead of mashed potatoes. Big disappointment.
Usually it is very good place to eat. The last few times I went. Food was terrible. The way the eggs were made very small portion This time I asked no onions they gave me extra onions in my eggs la Mexicana and no jalapeños. I had ordered for work so I spent half my lunch try to take the onions out only to contuine crunching in onions.
