Good food, great service during pandamic, everyone was nice and welcoming. Sandra who took our order was amazing, she was wearing a mask so we couldn't see her face. Geart attitude. We got the house pizza, medium $24 after tax. 2 of us couldn't finish. Good size pizza. Highly recommend.
My partner and I absolutely LOVED the pizza and cheesy bread we got here a couple of days ago. We had been hiking all week and needed some calories, and saw this place as we were heading back to our campsite. We were SO impressed with our meal. It was such wonderfully-made pizza (we got the 3-cheese with red sauce), and the cheesy breadsticks were freaking amazing! Plus, the service! Everyone was so super friendly!!! We love Parkside Pizza and will remember it fondly. :)
We LOVED the pizza here! I chose a medium sausage, onion, and green peppers pizza with extra pizza sauce, along with a side of cheesesticks and ranch, and it was some of the best pizza we've had in recent years! The pizza was hot, full of toppings, and cooked to perfection. The cheesesticks looked boring and small in the box but were loaded with flavor! The ranch was the "good ranch" (iykyk). The service was top-notch. The gentleman taking my order was efficient, friendly, and devoted to making my experience a positive one. The food came out in 15 minutes and was given to me by a nice younger woman. Sure, the price is on the higher side (it was $30 for a medium pizza and cheesesticks) but the quality was obvious, making it worth it in the end. We would gladly eat here again!
Delicious vegetarian pizza with really well made toppings, I got the medium size which was sufficient for two. Sauce was excellent and the entire pizza was baked precisely. The guy at the counter was super friendly with interesting travel stories. I will definitely come back again
Amazing place, great speciality pizza. Good place to stop and get lunch to take with you into the park
This place is better than it should be. The next closest pizza is 15+ miles away, but this place is super solid. Crust is good, topping hit the spot. Price is fair. Views outside of pretty fantastic.
Arnie, you beautiful bastion of the cheezuh. An umami ambassador to many of this great park, in a land scarce of food options, it would be easy to slang pies half as good. What could've been a journey to the depths of takeout tundra was instead an exaltation to the heights of plenty. Dinner rush line was long but the staff handled it with steely grace. All while pre assembling boxes as fast as a Saiyan melee scene. Had a simple half pep, half cheese and the results...Wow. Obviously using a high quality cheese, cooked perfectly, and a wonderful dough to match. Thank you.
We ordered the Make Your Own pizza for to go. The service was fast, waited for less than 10 minutes. The staff were friendly. Our pizza was delicious. I highly recommend it!
Loved the pizzas here. Ate here 2 days in a row. The sundried tomatoes+mushroom in pesto sauce was too damn good. The small one tasted better than the large tho.
We purely wanted a little snack before we were in the room for the night so we ordered a little pizza and it was fresh and actually pretty good! The staff were very friendly. Appreciate them being right there on the grounds

Freshly made pizza, very tasty. Service is fast and they have a nice out door sitting area. Great for take out after a long day of hiking.
Parkside Pizza is a hidden GEM. House Special—crisp and fluffy crust, garlicky note sauce, perfect proportions of cheese/topping ratio, was ready in 15 minutes, great customer service, and overall exceptional. I have to say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Just look at Daniel A GG photo on reviews, he nailed the vibe and quality of this pizza. 3.9 rating is way underrated
The food was so good! The Employees there was so helpful and nice! Service was great, Food was incredible, and had an amazing cheese pull. Not too pricey, but for 2 mediums it was 50. Definitely recommend this Italian pizza restaurant.

Pretty good pizza, I had low expectations after eating next door at The River Restaurant & Lounge the night prior. Fast, good, and excellent crust.
Went in on Saturday to get a medium Pepperoni pizza. Tasted really good and and crisp like texture with each bite. Pretty pricey but that how it is being outside of Yosemite. I believe I paid $18-20 for one medium pizza.
Great pizza, a bit expensive for pizza. But everything around yosemite NP is expensive. Very friendly employees, we ate the pizza at our terras from the hotel. 7.5/10!
Good pizza. Not bad for the small place they have. Their beer selection is horrible. They have almost nothing and what they do have isn't good. But, it was sufficient for a late night arrival at the hotel. We even had leftovers the next day after an outdoor hike, it was good. Note that they have a very cramped and small inside eating area and just a few tables outside.
This is no one‘s favorite pizza, but it’s good enough. The dough is clearly some kind of premade dough —not a lot of flavor. However, they do at least put a good amount of toppings on the pizzas. And the pizzas are ready fast. This pizza is much better than the restaurant at the hotel.
Pizza was pretty good and staff was attentive and helpful. Crust was cooked well and the pizza had good flavor overall. Personally, I thought there was too much cheese and it overpowered the taste of the pizza sauce and other ingredients, but my wife thought it was fine. The interior is dingy and dirty - not a place you really want to sit and eat. Ironically for a pizza place, you have to ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes. They have a side table with ketchup, mayo, mustard, and soy sauce. Not sure why those are there and why the basic pizza toppings aren’t. I saw multiple people look confused and ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes. Paid $53 for two medium pizzas which is way overpriced but expected in this area.
We ate here twice whilst staying at Yosemite View Lodge (the hotel that this restaurant is located at). The pizzas are REALLY good, they are expensive in my opinion (about $25 once you add a few toppings) but there are very limited options in the area. We tried a pepperoni pizza one evening and a pesto chicken the next. The staff are helpful and they offer unlimited refills on soft drinks and all the condiments you could want. There is also a nice outdoor seating area which we ate at one evening and the other we took the pizza back to our room balcony. I would definitely suggest eating here over the restaurant next door.
Great location since there are only a very few places around. The crust was very tasty and there were many options for the pizza. We ended up eating here twice. The staff was kind and there was nice indoor and outdoor seating options. They had some beer (even local) available.
I loved their Pizza. It's very filling, 3 of us got 2 medium and we just finished one, had the second one for breakfast the next day!!! Only reason to remove a star is the chicken on the pizza was not smelling good. Greek Pizza was fantastic.
We ordered the large pizza thinking that it would be enough for the two of us. It would have fed 4 and we ended up eating the other half for dinner the next night. The pizza dough was tasty but a little stodgy with a bit much cheese on top. Overall not bad and I would recommend to others.
5.15.24 stopped in for pizza after full day of hiking. Wife and I ordered large House thinking we would have leftovers….ate it all. Pizza was very good, loaded with toppings and a firm tasty crust. Friendly staff.

Great pizza and fair price for location and the fact there is not many options within 30-40 minutes. Pizza had a great crispness to the very bottom of the crust and was perfectly cooked. Had great flavor, especially the chicken Alfredo pizza. Employees were very friendly.

Yosemite could really use some decent food options. There's really nothing good in the area. This looked to have the best Yelp reviews I could find so we came here the first night. We got a large pizza, half chicken alfredo and half chicken cordon blue. On the positive side, the crust was way better than I expected. I really enjoyed it. The pizza itself was dry though. I couldn't taste any sauce and you would think alfredo and ranch would be noticable flavors. I did like the chicken cordon blue slightly more. A large was plenty for two people. We ended up not eating it all since we didn't really like it. We found a sandwich shop in Yosemite Valley (Degnans Kitchen) with free wifi that was better, so we didn't come back here.
We got cheese bread and shared a chicken cordon bleu pizza. My favorite was the cheese bread. We eat a LOT of pizza, and the cheese bread was quite unique. It looks burned, but it’s actually quite tasty. The pizza was okay, but the chicken was funky and we didn’t like it. It tasted much better without the chicken. Also the ranch was too subtle. The crust is good, I ate the crust off our leftover slices and threw away the pizza part.
Very nice lady at the counter, tried her best to get me a specific drink and to customize my order. Pizza was below average.
Pizza was ok. Wish there was more selection. Not many options in terms of food outside the park. Service was good.
I got back from a long day of hiking and didn't feel like driving to Mariposa for dinner. I went right when they opened and got a small (7", 4 slices) River Special. Came out pretty fast, maybe 15 minutes? Crispy crust. Decent pizza. Not worth $18 though. But, I guess I'm paying for convenience.

Mixed experience at Parkside Pizza. The pizza crust was actually really good - nice texture and flavor that showed they know how to make a proper base.Unfortunately, they went way overboard with the cheese. It was just too much and overwhelmed everything else on the pizza. What could have been a great pizza ended up being just okay because of the cheese overload. The space is pretty cramped with not much room to sit, and it's not cozy at all. Feels more like grabbing a quick bite than enjoying a meal in a comfortable setting.

We didn’t expect much before going to this place as we knew there are limited options located outside the park. The reviews were promising though so we took a chance. It was a bit worse than expected. If you’re looking for hot calories after hiking the mountains and don’t care too much about taste, this place should fit the bill. But if you’re expecting good pizza, this place isn’t it. The Hawaiian pizza we ordered was topped with tasteless pineapple and cheap, diced ham that you typically find at low quality salad buffets. The cheesy bread sticks were awful as well, having so little cheese and a bit of garlic dumped in the center of a small portion of pizza dough.
Hold on!! Don't look any further!!! If you want to eat a prize winning pizza: Come to this place for the most tasteless 3 cheese pizza ever!! You will even not taste the difference between the with fat saturated cardboard box or the pizza itself! Unprecedented and never seen before in this universe. Do yourself a fovor and drive to the June Bug Cafe 30 mins down the road.
In search of cheap eats after a long day of hiking we found this joint. The pizza is not great: -The cheese has a plastic like consistency which will try to choke you. -The little sauce I could find lacked aroma and taste. -The redeeming quality of this pizza was the outer crust which was airy with a nice crunch.
I feel bad leaving a poor review and having read other folks experiences we might have another go and write this one off to a bad night. I am going to share a pic if I can though - never seen anything like it. I thought american pizza would be way better than uk pizza but this was just expensive and not amazing. Service was great though!
The pizza tasted bad. We got the House special pizza in a size medium and it was like 30$. It was super greasy, some of the sausages were burned and we had to take them off the pizza. The garlic tasted almost "fishy". If I knew that it was gonna taste like that, I would've not come here. Sitting inside didn't look that clean either. I know it's the only option around but it doesn't mean you have to settle for subpar food.
I don't understand the other comments. This is a very disappointing pizza, one of the worst I've eaten. Not sure what cheese they use, but it's definitely not mozzarella. And too much of it as well.

Probably the strangest pizza I’ve ever had. It’s one of only two options in the area, so don’t be too scared but manage your expectations. If you have to order, go with the cheese; it was fine, though still below average. The other pizzas we tried were genuinely bad, especially the Greek with green pesto.

I ate here with 3 of my friends. Me and another person got stomach sick almost immediately after eating here. The service was good, but the pizza was definitely greasy and cheap looking. I'm not sure what it was since I've eaten a lot of street pizza before and I had never felt like that. It's not a cheap one either considering the quality. Sadly not many options around so I gave it a try, but regret doing so. Had heartburn the whole night and woke up feeling awful.
Worst and most expensive Pizza I ever had. I know good american pizza as well as the italian original. Here the pizza was made quick and dirty on frozen pizza dough and totally overpriced. 22$ and up is by far to much for what you get.
I’d be able to give this a fair star rating if they were ever actually open per the posted hours. When we arrived, they told us it was open on the weekends - Friday - Sunday. We walked over that evening (Sunday), place was dark, so we asked the front desk. They said oh no they’re only open Friday and Saturday. I told them their signage says otherwise and they should change it (literally the flyer on the front desk and on the door to the place). Friday rolls around and we try to go again. Place is dark. We ask the front desk, and this time they say it’s open Saturday - Thursday depending on the occupancy level of the lodge. If you’re closed for the season, just say so. Don’t give your guests the run around and ruin their dinner plans.
this has got to be the worst pizza place in existence because they’re always closed when google says they should be open. Second night in a row this has happened to us where we tried to get pizza but couldn’t because they were closed even though they should have been open according to google. We asked the front desk what was going on with the pizza place and the lady shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know, they should be open today but I guess they decided not to.” (The pizza place is not operated by the hotel). Very frustrating and also extremely irresponsible when there are already such limited food options available in the area. I hope it gets new owners or another restaurant moves in because PEOPLE NEED FOOD!!! What a waste of space!
Would give this place a zero stars if possible. They gave us a burnt pizza and told us this is the standard. When we went back to ask them about it, they were extremely rude and turned us away. What’s even more ridiculous is that when we went to reception, they didn’t even lift a finger to help us. Waste of money and overpriced too.

I seriously do not understand the good reviews on this restaurant and I am making this review to hope people don’t eat here. I ordered a simple cheese pizza. Burnt. Asked the waiter to remake it and he said it was always like that. In the end he remade it and it looked good but I was about to be proven wrong. The dough tasted so bad. The cheese was okay but it really didn’t taste good. My brother also had a bad time as he thought his pizza was really bad. He ordered the Greek green pesto one. Terrible. “Parkside Pizza is a hidden gem” is completely wrong. Don’t waste your appetite and time as I don’t want pizza again.
