Erin welcomed me for my birthday and the experience was superb from the start. I sat on the right side in the slightly elevated table which gave me a great view of the very elegant atmosphere. Not loud. Comfortable. Warm. Leather. Dim recessed lighting gutters ng in front of the bar. Room for about 40. After the manager guided me, I ordered the absolutely phenomenal rib eye with bearnaise and they were kind enough to make me duck fat fries (birthday visit). The char was perfect, the fries were crisp and delicious. I could not be happier. I enjoyed every single bite with gratitude. Erin checked in on me regularly and was very kind. The desert chocolate bar with gold and hazelnut was yo die for. I will be coming back here at the very next opportunity I get. Thank you so much for making me feel at home and for an amazing dining experience I am very grateful.

We recently discovered a hidden gem, El Segundo Porter House, a fantastic steakhouse. The moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the top-tier ambiance. The interior was beautiful, but it was quite crowded. To start, we tried the fried oysters for appetizers, which were absolutely delicious and unlike anything we've had before. For the main course, we savored the Wagyu filet mignon and the Wagyu New York Steak, both bursting with flavor. Accompanying our meal were mashed potatoes, broccolini, corn, and spinach, all of which were exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu to make the best selections. If you find yourself in the area, we highly recommend paying them a visit.

Came here with family and food was awesome. We shared a number of the dishes and all of the dishes were amazing! Chopped Salad, Street Corn, Fingerling Potatoes and both the Ribeye and New York Steaks were all great! Wife and daughter are both Celiac and no issues finding food on the menu that they could eat. Will definately come back next time in LA.

Enjoyed everything we tasted. Steaks, fish, crab, apps, and sides. They had a decent drink list and the staff knew all their selections and were able to provide detailed descriptions and recommendations.

We had a very large group and made a reservation. We were seated immediately as folks arrived and drink and appetizer orders were taken quickly and filled. We were seated in the “outside” porch which is covered and allowed our group to have space. We were more than loud! The appetizers were amazing and then the steaks arrived… not a word of complaint from 20 people. Wine, check, excellent. Mixed drinks, check, excellent. 100% recommended. Price… well, it’s high but worth it!

Outstanding dining experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was exceptional, and the staff was both knowledgeable and welcoming. The 12 oz Wagyu New York might be the best steak I’ve ever tasted—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. They also offer a social hour, which my colleagues and I are excited to check out. Our server was a pleasure to talk to, sharing both his expertise and passion for the incredible whiskey selection. I happened to sit next to one of the owners, and it was clear they are deeply committed to crafting an elite dining experience—which they absolutely delivered. Highly recommend.

The steak hous is very nicely decorated, I chose a slightly more special drink as an aperitive and the service staff offered me to try it as a shot first. The drink didn't appeal to me like that, but I was able to order a good alternative. I choosed the WAGYU 12 OZ NEW YORK withe the mashed potatos and it was delicious!

Just what I needed! Id been craving an espresso martini & a good steak, so this place hit the spot! I sat at the bar, was greeted and helped right away, both bartenders were fabulous! I ordered the wagyu steak with mashed potatoes and it was seated, seasoned & cooked perfectly! I was glutinous and got the dessert as well to go! It as delicious too! I will definitely be stopping by next time im in the area visiting!

We had an exceptional experience at Porterhouse in El Segundo, where they hosted the USA Triathlon Development, Elite, and Paratriathlon athletes during our first LA training camp. From start to finish, everything about our visit was outstanding. The food was incredible—thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and exactly what our athletes needed after long training days. The hospitality and service were just as impressive. Alex and Ricky are consummate hosts who went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed and supported. They truly embodied what it means to be the “team behind the team,” ensuring our athletes felt taken care of while also helping us get familiar with the area as we looked ahead to Venice Beach and preparation for the LA2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for team gatherings. Porterhouse made our time in El Segundo even more memorable, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their generosity and professionalism. Highly recommend—this is a place we’ll absolutely return to!

We just had the BEST New Year's Eve dinner at Porterhouse. Normally, we shy away from restaurants on NYE, with their overpriced and mediocre pre-fix dinners, but, luckily, we ended up at Porterhouse which was offering their normal a la carte menu. The menu is very extensive and every item was so tempting. The restaurant itself is gorgeous (beautiful lighting, brick walls and stunning bar). And it wouldn't have been half as amazing if it weren't for Ricky, the manager. He made us feel so welcome and made sure our night was impeccable. The cocktails were phenomenal , especially one called the Apiary (Ricky invented it, of course) which was a true work of art for the eyes and taste buds. Every dish we ordered was out of this world and cooked to perfection - wagyu steak tartare, tuna tartare, fried oysters, wedge salad, wagyu filet mignon, asparagus, broccolini and mushrooms. And, yes, we finished everything! We will undoubtedly be going back. We can't thank Ricky and Porterhouse enough for a perfect start to the new year!

The $107 ribeye was ordered medium rare and it came out 80% medium rare and 20% medium. We also ordered asparagus on the side and all but a couple were undercooked. I have to say the overall flavors, tastes, service was on point. Just a couple of small things to point out. In the grand scheme of things, I enjoy the birthday dinner with my wife and would recommend porterhouse to anyone. I would go back mainly for the great service and ambiance.

Porterhouse in El Segundo absolutely crushed it tonight. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Perfect crust, juicy center, seasoned exactly right. You can tell they respect the product and know how to cook it. The wine list is dialed in. Great selection that actually pair well with the menu, not just filler bottles. Our server was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about both the cuts and the wine, and made the whole experience feel effortless. This is the kind of place you come to when you want to enjoy a proper steak dinner and leave happy. Already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

We spent our valentines here and it was lovely we were sat at the bar and the food was incredible. Our server/bartender Emily was delightful she made some amazing drinks. The entire staff was really nice and welcoming. The place was packed but our food came out pretty quick and everything was delicious. You would never know they were super busy because everyone was super chill and friendly. We loved the experience overall. Thank you for a memorable night!

We have been hear a number of times. We have tried about everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. They cook your food as you request. They have great cocktails and nice wine list. All the waiters have been professional yet fun and knowledgeable. There are 2 atmospheres in the restaurant one for the front and one for the back no sure which one is better but we love them both

Nice little, fully stocked bar with about 8 stools right up front. About three high-top tables in the same area. The dining area gets darker (lighting) after that, some tables and booths. Then a nice, covered, outdoor patio in the back past the bathrooms. Why only four stars? One reason is that they charge you for bread. 🤔 I figure when I'm spending $60+ on a steak, I should at a minimum, be offered some free bread while I wait for my appetizer or main entrée. This nickel and diming when I'm spending $100 for a entrée and cocktail doesn't sit well with me. But, the food is very good and the presentation is high quality. Worth a shot if you're in the area and...enjoy!

Great neighborhood restaurant. We started off with the ceasar salad with a delicious homemade dressing and tasty herb croutons. Then we had the Braised Ox Tails. They were fall off the bone tender, and the sauce was wonderful. Also had the Chilean Sea Bass. It was tender and moist and full of flavor.
