This establishment’s atmosphere is unmatched. It was very comfortable. The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly. The creme brûlée was amazing. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed going here and would love to go back any time.
I had the steak and crème brûlée, they were amazing. The service and staff were incredible. It was one of my favorite dining experiences I have had in some time. I would highly recommend people to go here for an amazing meal and and excellent time.
Had a steak that was perfect, with great sauce on top too. The fries were some of the best ive ever had. I also had the creme brulee which was small but an incredible flavor and texture for my first try.
Really nice dinner and the service was excellent. My son took me out for an early mother’s day and we really enjoyed it.
Food, service always WONDERFUL! Worth the money they charge. Many of my family really enjoy eating here. We seem to always go for special occasions and Birthdays. I almost do not want to say anything as I want it to stay a secret! Lol! Make sure you make reservations several days a head of time. Smaller restaurant with 15 tables or so. If I could give more stars I would. So wanted to do an updated on my past review! Still enjoy going here whenever possible! Wonderful food, great atmosphere! Well worth it every single time! Wonderful place to have a great dinner with friends and family!
What an amazing experience! The food was amazing & the quaint atmosphere of the restaurant made the experience even better. Big shout out to our server Aiden who was very helpful & personable. The entire staff supporting the dining experience was very professional & seemed to care about doing a great job. The only reason I gave Service a four-star is because when we arrived (which was about 10 minutes early for our reservation) the hostess told us that it would be a short wait (that's understandable) . Our reservation was at 8pm and we saw several groups leaving & at 805 I inquired about our seating status and was told it would be another 15 minutes. I kinda got irritated & reminded her that our reservation was at 8pm...(I think she was on auto-pilot with her response to me about the wait) ....very shortly thereafter we were seated & thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the evening. I highly recommend & plan on visiting again.
This is my favorite place in elk Grove. The oysters were so fresh. The bone marrow made me want another order and the duck was delicious. Nothing at all to complain about with this establishment. And the bread pudding put me over the edge.
My wife and I went here and it was better than I could've imagined. The inside of the restaurant looks like my dream dinning room. The atmosphere was so relaxed and intimate. The staff was attentive, we never had to ask for refills or wait for cleanup. The cooks prepared a perfect meal. The GPS directions were a bit confusing, but the restaurant had well placed signs pointing to the back of the building for parking. The only bad thing about this place is that only one exists.
Boulevard Bistro is hidden gem. Everything is amazing. You owe it to yourself and loved ones to dine there.
This Restaurant is such a hidden gem. I’ve past by so many times until my niece purchased me an e-gift card is when I noticed. I’m so excited that she did, because this place may be small in size but it is just right for a cozy meal. Our waitress Aubrey was excellent including the waitress that was assisting her with refreshing our water. We decided to go with there special two New York Steaks with Asparagus & French Fries also a bottle of Martin Ray Sonoma Coast, Pinot Noir. The food was seasoned to perfection and oh! so juicy. For Desert we had the Cilantro Lemon Sorbet and Chocolate Torte. Everything was delicious. We will return. Our hats off to the Chef. Thanks for such an awesome meal.
Extremely nice spot in an older house. Service was definitely refined and on point. The duck confit was very good but also very rich. The salmon was very delicious and I would recommend it to just about anyone. The bone marrow appetizer was very good. I just wish it had a few more pieces of toast and more of the arugula salad to go with it. Still it was very good and I would get it again. Overall, this is a great place to go in Elk Grove!
We went there last night we had gotten a gift card for christmas. We had no idea what to expect. I am very hard to please. The food was a+. The service was AA plus. We could of not ask for better waiter and staff. Franny and Jack
This is one of my favorite places to dine. The food is always prepared perfectly and of excellent quality. The service is warm and friendly.
Absolutely, positively delectable. The beet salad and the peach salad were terrific, but it was the entrees that were unique and so well presented. The Ono fish pan seared w/ risotto was a new one for us, and the crisp outside and firm inside was perfect. Am not a brussels sprouts person, so they were kind to replace them with roasted carrots. The salmon with ratatouille got rave reviews as well. All with a bottle of Flowers pinot. Two desserts to share, the croissant bread pudding and a peach cobbler were devoured. Having just returned from Europe and many a Michelin restaurant - we believe the Bistro needs to be on the next regional award selection. Super, experienced professional staff too. We felt welcomed from the second we walked in the door. Kudos to the chef and management for creating a place we will return to often.
High quality, fresh and delicious with excellent service. Pricey but worth it for special occasions.
Great restaurant in Elk Grove. Small atmosphere, great service. Best food in Elk Grove
Intimate space with excellent food. Service was wonderful. We ordered the filet mignon and the scallops, both exceeded expectations. Already have plans of coming back!
We managed to get last minute seating in the patio area for 4 people and can only say that it was the most unbelievable meal from starters to desert. My husband, who has travelled the world and eaten food prepared by world famous Chefs came away saying this meal exceeded anything he has ever eaten. If able he would rate it worthy of a Mitchelin STAR.
First time visiting & the food was even better than expected. Filet mignon & beef bourguignon - highly recommend. Very cool and unique atmosphere. Will be back soon
What a gem! This is perfect for date night or intimate dinner with friends. I came in for dinner at 5pm with a couple friends and we're warmly greeted and promptly seated. The host gave us the specials of the night and piloted some delicious wine. Server was really nice and gave good recommendations. For appetizers we tried deviled eggs and pork belly. Must try!! I had the Broccoli Cheddar soup, followed by the salmon. DELICIOUS! My friends both had the Wedge Salad and Chicken Breast with Mushroom sauce and they devoured every last bite!
Amazing experience! Excellent service and food. You could really tell the staff is highly trained they always made sure water was filled (it was an exceptionally hot day) and checked in on customers more than once. The food is SUPER fresh. We got the pan seared scallops and grilled fillet mignon. Both were cooked to perfection!
My girlfriend and I came here a couple nights ago to celebrate our anniversary, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. I had the filet mignon and she ordered the beef bourguignon. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Our server, De'Ron (sorry if I spelled that wrong), gave us a fantastic wine recommendation that paired beautifully with our meals. He was attentive and really added to the overall experience. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, perfect for a special occasion. Everything from the service, the food and the vibe made for a night we won’t forget. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fine dining spot in Elk Grove.
Highly recommend. Super cute and intimate place. Dishes were delicious. Best deviled eggs I've ever had. Service was incredible. We had an amazing dinner.
Absolutely delicious! Everything from the bread to the after dinner coffee is superb! We've been coming here for over 12 years and it never ever disappoints
Today's my wife birthday. Decided to go here for dinner. Turned out good. The service is good as expected and the food is full of favors! Filet mignon is the best!
A great place for a quiet romantic dinner. Excellent service ... very professional. They always make you feel like you are the one and only. Wonderful food !! I hade the best scallops I have ever had in my entire life !! I still dream about them. Our very favorite restaurant !!
AMAZING. Every dish was delicious. Even the bread and butter. Definitely make sure you make reservations because they have limited seating/dining space. But it's very warm and cozy.
A great fine dining experience hidden in old elk grove, in a cute little cozy house. Been here a few times for brunch and the service and food have been very impressive for such a small town. Love coming here on the weekends, but make sure to make a reservation!
From the appetizer to the main entrée, every plate taste great. However, 100 percent of the time, I have to ask to go light on the salt/sodium.

First time there. Had reservations for 4. Seated right away. Great service, wonderful food and desserts! Jennifer, our server, was.the BEST! Definitely will be going back.
Let’s just say my taste buds were dancing😄 From start to finish it was delish consistency. Service was great! Highly recommend.
One of my favorite places in town. If we're looking for a "fine dining" experience for special occasions this is my go-to spot. I say that in quotes because while it is very nice, it's also very approachable and great value. Menu is always fantastic. Everything, from appetizers to desserts. Unique selections and preparation. Be brave and try the specials. Staff is super nice. I've never had a bad experience here.

This was the first time that we went to this place. It is an nice quaint place with really nice ambience. Our mistake was that it was Father's Day and we decided to go for lunch and did not have any reservations. The people at the front desk were really nice but the wait was too long so we decided to leave but we are planning to definitely come back as different friends of ours have told us how nice the food is. The next time we're definitely going to make reservations.
I love this restaurant. I have been there twice and on special occasions. Yes, pricey and yes, Excellent food and service. It's a small house setting. We enjoyed the steak tartar, bone marrow, artichoke dip, french onion soup, halibut, salmon, filet mignon, fine wine, and great desserts. The staff was attentive, friendly, and I don't think I had to pour any wine into my own glass. We certainly felt special.

My husband and I have been going to Boulevard Bistro for many years, Mother's Day brunches, dinner, and Anniversary dinners. Food and service is truly wonderful, generally. We made reservations indicating that we were celebrating an anniversary. While there, we heard the waiter ask the couple behind us if they were celebrating a special event; it was their 35th Anniversary. They were congratulated as they should be. We were never asked if we were celebrating anything. It is our 40th Anniversary! When we were leaving, the same waiter who waited on us asked the most recent couple who was seated if they were celebrating an event. It was their anniversary also. My suggestion, ask all or none. It feels childish to be bothered by this; but the fact is I'm a bit bothered.

Boulevard Bistro was one of the first restaurants I tried when I first moved into Elk Grove a year and some change ago. I really enjoyed going and ordering takeout from this restaurant with my partner for the bone marrow, which used to be incredible, which I have attached for reference. As of late however, they change how they cut the bones. Before, they were splitting them down the middle and you have two beautiful halves you can scoop out from that cook wonderfully. Now they cut the bone marrow cylinders horizontally across the tube, so now you have these tubes which I have a lot of problems with. I'm not sure if it's a market scheme to make it seem like you get more bang for your buck since they give you three cylinders instead of two halves, but they're obviously much more stout and might not even be the whole bone that you used to get. They now cook UNEVENLY. You get a lot more inconsistency in the texture and temperature to the point that it MIGHT EVEN BE RAW, which is a ton more DANGEROUS than plain uncooked steak or other cuts of meat. My first order of marrow was undercooked, and it was VILE which I didn't even dare to try it. I added a star because the manager graciously had it remade for me free of charge, but the next set was also pretty unevenly cooked which I didn't bother fighting about as I didn't have another 30 minutes to spare waiting. When it is cut across the tube into cylinders, there is A LOT OF WASTED & INACCESSIBLE MARROW. The cooked bones naturally have a lot of rogue bone thread inside, and there is never a perfect hollowed out bone. This is usually not a problem when the bone is split down the middle. When you cut it into tubes, scraping these bones clean becomes a herculean task. You can't dip bread and enjoy this in a relaxing fashion anymore; you have to pine for every little piece of marrow you can get and still waste a large portion of it. With the order I had replaced I used all 3 cylinders to barely fill out only 1 of the 4 small pieces of bread you get. Combining all of this with the fact that it literally feels like you get less bone for $24 is just downright upsetting. I feel like this is such an obvious oversight in so many ways that it might just be downright malicious and a means to cut corners and cheapen out. I really used to love this place just for their marrow and I will not be coming back here for takeout or dinner again.
I have read so many good reviews so We decided to celebrate here our 12 year wedding anniversary. It’s probably the heat? Outside temperature was 99F. Looks like the ac in that building didn’t hold up. While in the building it feels like around 85-95F inside. In short we are not comfortable at all. The service was NOT GREAT AT ALL. The food is okay not really worth $30 or $40 per plate on my opinion. I was expecting atleast a decent service and a decent food. No wow factor. I’ve spent $100+20% tip overall I wouldn’t recommend the place. Won’t be coming back to this establishment.
