This was my first visit to Tule Coffeehouse. I had an oat milk chai and a veggie panini. (I wish I took a pic of the food) The sandwich was vibrant greens & reds, the chai strong and hot. I ate in, and the vibe was light, airy with mixed seating options. I look forward to coming back for morning coffee/treats, a seat on the sofa, and some inspired reading.

I hardly ever leave reviews but I absolutely adore this place!! Super aesthetic coffee shop with tons of places to sit indoors and outdoors. Saw tons of people working from there or sitting down to enjoy a chat and some good weather. The coffee was exceptional, and without exaggeration the turkey panini I ordered was the best one I’ve ever had in my life. I am beyond impressed as I usually don’t expect much when it comes to food at coffee shops. I would go back just for the panini, fresh ingredients and the panini bread was incredible. Customer service was also unreal, I made a mistake when ordering my panini and was just going to order another one for myself and pay for it. They were so nice about it and made me a few one without charging me a second time though I insisted. Super happy to see beautiful coffee shops like this one pop up in Elk Grove where we mostly have Starbucks and Peet’s. Excited to frequent this coffee shop regularly and support a wonderful small business in our town. Straight 10/10 for everything, highly recommend everyone to give it a try and cannot wait to be back!

We came here on October 26th after the Dia De Los Muertos 5K run in elk Grove. We showed up around 9:30 a.m. and it was definitely jam-packed. The line was outside the door and there were at least seven groups ahead of us. Luckily the service was stellar and we got to the front register within 15 minutes. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches one that was with bacon and one that was with some deli meats. I also tried their homemade pumpkin spice latte and my husband got a regular coffee with cream. I do want to call out the pumpkin spice latte that they had because it was beyond delicious. It actually tasted like pumpkin because they mentioned they used real pumpkin puree in order to make the drink. It was smooth, luscious, and very festive in your mouth LOL. The sandwiches that we had were extremely well made because the cheese that was inside was super gooey which melted so well into the like thick slab of egg that was inside and the way that it was portioned within the sandwich allowed you to have a proper bite of all the different ingredients inside. also forgot to mention the individual at the cash register was extremely amazing and sweet. He walked me through the menu because it was our first time there, gave me recommendations on a potential sweet treat to to eat, and was excited to know that elk Grove had a 5K run close by that he would consider doing next year. Overall I would definitely come back and try the rest of the items on their menu.

Wow all around great spot to sit down, drink coffee and talk. The young man at the cash register was very friendly and greeted us with a smile and was very informative. The place has a decent size parking lot. They provide dog treats too.

Hands down my favourite coffee shop in the area. Great atmosphere, great food options, and great seasonal selections. This time i just got a latte and veggie panini (my favourite) to go, but when it's better weather out it's great to sit on the back patio with a coffee or one of the select alcoholic drink options available. Definitely worth checking out.

I came for coffee and breakfast to meet a family friend and the sandwich and the coffee were absolutely amazing ! I decided to stay longer then ended up getting another drink ! Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great ! highly recommend visiting and trying this place out !

Great food and coffee drinks. They Evan serve mimosas and other alcohol drinks. Yummy pastries the family would love! Wonderful indoor and outdoor dining. Wheel chair accessible! Great hospitality!

Tule sells one of the better breakfast sandwiches in the area. Tried both the mortadella and bacon ones which were very good, the arugula and aioli elevates it than other similar sandwiches. You would have to go to the city for comparable ones. They also serve seasonal coffee flavors, such as the cherry vanilla latte which had good flavor and not too sweet. They are busy and seating indoors is limited since it is a smaller store. There is also outdoor seating and a convenient parking lot nearby.

Went to Tule for a nice Monday breakfast, loved it! Very decent matcha and lovely breakfast sandwich. We ate outdoors and it was very nice.

Great service at the counter. Had a brown sugar coffee and a chai. Bacon breakfast sandwich and a mortidella breakfast sandwich. Everything was very good and served quickly.

This place is BUSY on Saturday morning, but for good reason. I got their Strawberry Cheesecake Late and Panini. The latte was delicious and not overly sweet and the Panini was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I’m so glad Elk Grove has opened a new coffee shop! TULE pronounced Tool-ee. For those who have lived in the Sacramento valley for a long time will be familiar with Tule fog and the Tule Elk. What a great name to represent the area. Upon entering the coffee house the atmosphere and staff are welcoming. For first timers they are glad to help you with choosing a coffee and a food menu item. They have a lot of outdoor seating with shade and misters. It’s conveniently located in old town EG. I had the house made brown sugar latte and the veggie sandwich. Both of which were amazing. Will definitely be back. This place is great for a breakfast meeting or lunch with a coworker or a Saturday morning with the family.

Perfect little coffee shop with a pinch of glittery faery dust for good measure. I had a brownie and strawberry matcha. It was wonderful but I'm also very awake right now. 🫣😂😆

Coffee is good and I love the sandwiches. Atmosphere is nice with friendly staff. It's a nice place to work/study but also relaxed enough to just sit, chat and enjoy your drinks.

This is a success story. We all watched it being renovated a 1.5 years ago, thought it looked like a cool coffeehouse, and HOPED it would be a nice place to hang out. Result = SUCCESS!! They have fantastic food, in addition to great coffee. The "Veggie" breakfast Sando is absolutely delicious (I'll bet they all are!). It's got eggs, avocado, cheese, greens and the SAUCE is magical. Tastes like something from a high-end NY restaurant, hiding in downtown Elk Grove. Big enough to split. There's great seating everywhere: out-front tables with umbrellas, inside, and out-back larger tables with more umbrellas. Nice Staff, good music, great vibe, better than Starbucks. SO glad they're successful, and no doubt they're gonna stay around. Weekdays are less busy than weekends. On weekdays, food is ready in 8-10 mins. 👍

Location: Located on what Elk Grove is dubbing Main Street Elk Grove, Tule represents the type of businesses that the city should be bringing to this area. Tule is one of those businesses that I will drive out of my way to grab a drink. A lot of residents seem to have a similar mindset as this place finds itself pretty busy. With a cottage exterior and quaint interior its a great place to meet up with friends. What makes it great is that it actually has a side patio and back patio for ample seating. To add to this, there is a decently sized parking lot right next to the business Service: The staff at this location is great. Attentive and friendly, this staff always seem to be busy with all the people visiting but have continued the great and relatively quick service. The beans are locally sourced from a smaller roaster in the region that really adds to the local flair. Drink/Food: I normally stick to an americano or a cold brew and have been satisfied with the quality. From the standpoint of those drinks I really enjoyed them but your mileage may vary depending on if you like the creamier or sweeter drinks. They also have a quite a bit of food options. I really love their Italian Paninis, they are well made and delicious! Shop local and support local! If you are in the area I highly recommend this over the chain coffee shop down the road. You wont regret it!

A darker flavor to taste more of the coffee. I’m an espresso snob and it tasted great. Nice light roast. Plenty of caffeine! ⚡️ The gingerbread latte was awful if I’m being honest. Way too sweet and missed the mark for my girlfriend and I. We couldn’t even really place the flavors but it was disgustingly sweet. Food looked awesome. Lots of sandwich choices and bakery options. Solid place to visit for a meal and coffee ☕️ Service was friendly. Dog friendly! Great outdoor patio seating and WiFi to sit and do work. Check it out!

Nice place, good chai latte. I had the banana bread. The only drawback for me is how crowded it is. It was a weekend and you had to wait in a line out the door and then try to find a seat if you were eating there. There is seating outside but it wasn't warm enough yet. Cute place and it does offer sandwiches. Parking was also difficult.

I wish I could give this place negative stars based upon the horrible lack of service. My family and I stood in line for over an hour waiting to place our coffee orders. We were attending a local Christmas event. It was suggested that we take our business to this establishment. I figured the long line was a positive sign. In our group was a Vietnam vet in his 80s who wanted a hot coffee. We found him a seat in the place after waiting 45 minutes and the rest of us waited in line. As we approached the counter we were informed that the places closed at 2pm and that they would not longer be serving hot drinks or any food for the people waiting past the door. When the woman in front of us with her young child asked for a grill cheese the staff informed us they would not seve us anything, but lemonade or beer. The time was 2:02 pm! I asked why they had not made this announcement earlier at 1pm. The cashier said that if she served us she would be here all night. She then informed us that she had been there since 6am. Not sure why she said this. I expressed my disappointment and said I would be writing this review. One person in the back came towards the counter and started talking back to me in an aggressive tone. I am not going to what they said to me. I asked them their name and they said "Carl. Spell it right." I then asked it is was Carl/Karl with a C or K. They retorted with a C. This interaction left a bad taste for us. Luckily, we found another establishment down the road that filled our request with a warm smile and amazing coffee.
