Took my kid here for their 21st bday. The food was really good. Market price on lobster seemed reasonable enough compared to other fine dining in area. Smoked Old Fashion cocktail was quite the experience (never had a drink served in a smokey belljar), passion lemon drop was super tasty. Service was a tad slow but still above average with great suggestions. Portions were larger than expected, plenty of left overs.

Station 16 has firmly established itself as one of my top choices for seafood in downtown Sacramento. The culinary experience here is consistently outstanding, and our recent visit was no exception. We began our meal with the $2 Blue Point Oysters on the half shell during Happy Hour, a delightful and fresh start that set the tone for the evening. The oysters were impeccably fresh, with a briny sweetness that was perfectly balanced. Next, we indulged in the Cajun Fried Deviled Eggs, a standout dish with a unique twist. The eggs were wonderfully crispy on the outside, with the yolk placed on top of the fried egg white, creating a textural delight that was both inventive and delicious. The Mussels and Fries were another highlight, featuring a rich tomato sauce that was arguably the best I've ever tasted. The addition of andouille sausage elevated the dish, adding a smoky depth that complemented the mussels beautifully. Our Caesar Salad was executed flawlessly, with a dressing that was both creamy and tangy, coating each leaf of crisp romaine perfectly. It was a refreshing interlude amid the richer dishes. Finally, the Chilled Platter was a showstopper, with the Lobster being the undeniable star. Served warm and seasoned to perfection, the lobster was succulent and flavorful, making it my favorite component of the platter. Overall, Station 16 continues to impress with its innovative dishes and commitment to quality. Whether for a casual Happy Hour or a special dinner, it remains a must-visit destination for seafood lovers in Sacramento.

Station 16 is a seafood lover's paradise! We indulged in the lobster, garlic noodles, shrimp mac and cheese, and shrimp scampi. The lobster was perfectly cooked and succulent, with a delightful buttery flavor that was just divine. The garlic noodles were a standout—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The shrimp mac and cheese was creamy and decadent, with generous chunks of shrimp adding a nice touch. The shrimp scampi was light and fresh, with a perfect balance of lemon and garlic. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a fantastic spot for a seafood feast. Highly recommend Station 18 for a delicious and satisfying meal!

Went to Celebrate Our 2 year Anniversary. A Great Day To Have a Super Delicious Meal. Our 1st Time eating at Station 16 but, I heard so many great things about the place. I wanted to have a late lunch instead of dinner because we had plans to hit the movies later that night. All The Good Things I heard were true. My food was melt in my mouth delicious, my drink was perfect, and the appetizers & sides were so good.. I had a smoked pineapple 🍍 tequila drink. 🍹and my sweetheart had a Modelo beer. 🍺 Our service was awesome polite, helpful & attentive. The atmosphere was good & not too crazy busy. The scattered showers of rain ensured that the restaurant wasn't overcrowded or too busy. I am so glad I chose to go. I didn't realize that they specialize in seafood or I would have showed up a long time ago. We're definitely going back. It was SO WORTH THE WAIT... I am a seafood lover. 🦀🧄🍤😋🥰

I enjoyed my first visit here. Great service. Busy Sunday. They sometimes have live music. They also have outdoor dining. Yes, heater is out there for winter. I ordered the clam chowder. It was delicious. I will definitely come back.

We came here because the place we originally were looking into didn't have any seating to accommodate so this was right next door. We had a little baby with us and the staff was super sweet and accommodating and made us feel super welcome. The server was very sweet and attentive during our visit and made sure we had plenty time to be ready to order. We got a lobster roll & salad, both were amazing. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee that I took to go and they were kind enough to top it off at my departure. This is a super intimate, comfortable place with very good food. I would recommend!

Had an amazing brunch at Station 16! The steak omelet was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the toast was fresh and delicious, and the bottomless mimosas were the perfect touch. Great food, great vibes—definitely a brunch spot I’ll be coming back to. 🥂✨

An upscale dining option in the heart of Elk Grove, CA. The ambience is truly exceptional, from the bar to the dining rooms to the restrooms. You will feel a ‘5 star’ vibe at Station 16. The service is pleasant and timely. We visited on a Monday early evening and had no wait time. We were also given the option of a booth or table for seating. The menu choices were decent, offering a blend of American, Cajun, Seafood options. I ordered their Cajun Pasta after reading many other reviews that recommended it. My wife ordered the lobster Mac n cheese. I would give the Cajun Pasta a 3/5. It just left more to desire, I also opted out of the sausage that would have been included. It just didn’t seem right going with the dish. The flavor was missing, although it did pack a little bit of heat (spice). I prefer my pasta to have more sauce, and the Cajun Pasta here barely had any sauce to it, it was a little on the dry side. The lobster Mac n cheese was great though. 5/5 on that dish. The cheese tastes so authentic and rich. I saw another patron order the crab & prawns skillet. I wanted to order that initially but with a $80+ price point I decided not to. However that skillet came out of the kitchen sizzling and smelling amazing. I would rerun to Station 16 just to try the skillet. We spent roughly $75 before tip for our two meals, one cocktail, and garlic bread. It was also my birthday so they included a compliment ice cream with sparklers. I nice touch on the already elegant ambiance and experience. They also have daily happy hour specials on cocktails and food.

We were in CA for vacation and decided to eat here for our anniversary, thought the atmosphere would a bit fancier but I saw folks dressed casual and even saw someone walk in with slippers. Ordered the Blue Typhoon cocktail and I mostly tasted tequila. We ordered the Cajun cooked oysters for appetizer and although they were good, you get 4 not even half a dozen. The steak and lobster for main entree was good, good size steak and perfectly cooked medium rare, lobster tail was decent. The service was great, food was decent but nothing memorable.

Overall, it was a great experience. It was my wife's and my first visit. We were hesitant because a close friend was not impressed with the food. I have to tell him the food was really good. My wife had the steak and lobster and was impressed with the flavor and tenderness of the steak. I had the lobster roll, which was good. The bread could have been toasted a little more in some butter, but a lot of lobster meat was piled on, which was great. We enjoyed two mocktails, Ginger and Raspberry, which were delicious and very tasteful. Now, I did order lobster and Mac for later—that's my big back side. So, it was a pleasant meal, great atmosphere on a Friday evening, no complaints here.

I should say food was very nice. Enjoyed our late lunch 2:00. They really need to up the wine game. Choose to not drink wine I would never buy. We have so many wonderful wines to be shown a wine list with two Chardonnay’s. Our waiter was very attentive, maybe they should put water carafes on the table. Just a thought.

I like their outdoor dining area, which is perfect when the weather is good, or the comfortable dining room when I want the air conditioning. The enthusiastic customer service and delicious food are also very attractive to me. The parking lot is clean and safe. However, the section in front of Station 16 is smaller and super busy at night! All of my friends enjoyed their visit. I'm sure we will be back soon!

Came out here for a dinner date with a friend. Beautiful modern interior. Lovely ambiance. Great food and cocktails. Plenty of parking across the street or a parking garage right next door ($24 if staying for more than 2 hrs, so try the street first). Service could use a little improvement. Took awhile to get our drinks, had to ask for water multiple times. Overall a great place!

This place was recommended by a friend, so we decided to go have a family dinner. We went on a Friday night without a reservation, and to our surprise... there was no wait time and got seated right away. Service was great - greeted by our server immediately, and food came came pretty quick. It was a nicely lit restaurant and I was glad that the music wasn't blaring unlike some restaurants. 4 stars because the food was okay but great service. It did not taste bad or anything, but there wasn't any uniqueness to it. We had a good time though.

For some reason Google gave good reviews for this restaurant, so much that my husband was willing to drive 30 minutes outside downtown Sacramento to try it. Made a lunch reservation for 6 to celebrate a family birthday. We got caught in traffic and arrived 10 minutes late, and ended up having to wait another 10 minutes or so before getting seated. Unsure if they were understaffed, though the bar side of the restaurant where we were seated had plenty of smaller empty tables and booths. On that note: if loud, bass-heavy music bothers you or you want to be able to talk to your group, I recommend asking to be seated away from the bar area. I was getting a headache by the time we left because the music was playing so loudly. And this is coming from a metalhead. :) Our server came to introduce herself and was polite in all interactions, but seemed put off when no one ordered alcohol and kept rushing off lol. We kept having to ask different servers or possibly bussers to refill water glasses. It took awhile to actually order after our server disappeared, and then longer still to get our food. The food was decent, and expectedly expensive for seafood. Considering the price and less-than-great service, my mother-in-law was mad at the required gratuity lol (pay your staff a living wage imo). Our birthday folks did get free ice cream at least. Overall 4/5 food, and 2/5 on everything else. I'd rather get take-out if I ever want to spend $35 on a lobster roll again and don't want to deal with listening to atrociously loud WUBWUBWUB BDM-BDM-WUBWUBWUB again.

Have been enjoying this restaurant since the location downtown Sacramento. Now in Elk Grove New staff (Lexi manager) , didn't have the best telephone etiquette.She stressed brunch would be over at 3:00 that was fine since I am here quite often let's say maybe twice a month. I request Andre's section my regular wait staff, he was off this weekend. I noticed it wasn't as packed as usual and staff was short. I invited the pastor and wife along with 10 other guests. We arrived at 2:15 Lexi was behind the bar talking, the table was not ready to seat us. It took another 25 minutes for her to clean and set up. We were seated at 2:54. At 3:08 I was told I couldn't order my usual salmon hash because brunch ended. Two other guest ordered salmon burger, the waiter Andie said the restaurant ran out of salmon to make burgers. This never happened under previous manager. I opted not to eat and just sat and enjoyed my guest.
