Ordered comboA and it looks awesome and tastes great! All the sushis have a little rice but lots of imitation crab meat inside, so they have rich flavors. Both rainbow rolls and dragon rolls have imitation crab meat and tempura inside, so they tastes a little similar. It might be better if there can be a little more difference between them. The overall experience and food is awesome, will definitely come back again!

Fuji Sushi Buffet is really delicious. Its one of the places in this area that has been around and stayed open for awhile. The food taste fresh and has a good flavor. The ordering process for your food is different and cool so always nice to bring out of town guest. Staff is nice. Oh did I meant there is a line before they open in the evening 🙂. 3💜

Great place to have sushi and sashimi in a buffet all you can est style. We arrived at 12pm and were seated right away. The place is clean with friendly and helpful staff. Food is self served directly from the boats or ordered at the counter in the back. We ordered plates of tuna sashimi and they were all fresh. Sushis and soft shell crabs were nice too. There’s also a small selection of Chinese dishes if you don’t like raw fish. Restrooms available.

Came here for lunch. It was a bit slow maybe due to holiday shopping. I have noticed that head chef knows everyone name and their favorite foods. That is the customer service. Everything was good but I think one in Vacaville does have more variety foods.

Food was fair, but not knock my butt off great. A little bit pricey for what you are offered at a AYCE sushi buffet. Better restaurants available for sushi in the Sacramento area

I had Combo B and california rolls. It was a good portion for two. Staffs are very friendly and nice. They gave some hot tea and soup for free because the heater was broken. Tho I wish the eel sauce was little more thicker or flavorful. I would definitely go back.

BEBACK rating- most likely It’s been a long time between this visit and the last time I was here. I’m glad it is still open. Anyway, the bad: 1. I had the miso soup and the egg drop soup that they have at the side of the main area. The miso was about as good as any other Japanese restaurant but the egg drop soup was bland. In fact, it seemed like I was eating thickened water. 2. I was very disappointed when I watched an employee serve himself food on a used plate instead of a new one. The serving spoon he used touched the plate which had leftover whatever. People! At a buffet, use a new plate! No one wants to use a serving spoon that may have your saliva on it. Well, maybe it’s ok at home when eating with your family, I guess. Here’s the good: 1. The tuna collar is still excellent. If you don’t know, the collar is usually where you’ll get the best flavor of the tuna. 2. I’m glad they still have the deep fried oysters and soft shell crab. We had the oysters, flavorful, although I prefer larger pieces that explode with the oyster juice when you bite it- like at your small fish and chips joints. 3. The sushi boats are entertaining and practical since you can actually see what your choosing instead of looking at a picture of it on a menu. 4. Lastly, the bussers and water servers were on the ball and came by often to remove dishes and to make sure our water and tea was not empty. All in all, I will continue to recommend this restaurant despite the no-no by the employee.

My family and I were super excited that Fuji is finally open again but after our experience today, not sure if we would come back again. So the restaurant has been closed down for how long now, 2 years? No renovation has been done whatsoever. If you walk to the back of the restaurant it still has that weird smell that makes it kind of unappetizing. Anyway, now they give you a menu and you can order the appetizers and drinks from your server. If you want rolls, you have to stand in line. If the line is long, you can only place 1 or 2 rolls max and each roll only comes in 4 pieces. Sometimes there were 6 to 8 people in line and it can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes just to place an order. Then they tell you to come back to pick up your order. It's a whole process. My family and I left the place kinda full but mostly disappointed. Idk, maybe dinner is better but lunch wasn't it.

Fuji used to be my go-to place for AYCE sushi when I lived in the area years ago. We were in the area again recently so we decided to go there for dinner and see if anything has changed since the pandemic. I was surprised to see all the old workers there! The food was decent but nowhere close to how it used to be. The sashimi was fresh and the cooked entrees such as grilled salmon and hamachi Kama were good. However, I wish there was more variety with the sushi choices since all the rolls they had seem very similar with a generic combination of shrimp and cucumber slathered in mayo and unagi sauce. The mixed tempura was a little disappointing as some of the pieces tasted dry like it had been sitting out for long or were leftovers from lunch. While it is understandable for them to take out the hot buffet bar since it wasn’t popular back then, I also didn’t like their new process of having to flag down your server to order hot food since it was often difficult to find them in the first place.

I came here about 6 years ago when it was new, fresh, and exciting. That was the memory I had leaving this place. Coming back after all these years it seems like the "magic" is gone. Even my wife did not seem to enjoy the food compared to other sushi buffets. The rolls were not bad, but they were not good either. They use a lot of imitation crab for the filler, can't really complaint because it tastes good with the mayo sauce mixture. There is no menu at the table, seems like they expect you to know what rolls you want to order; or just grab a pre-rolled sushi roll on the counter. The tempura was not light or fluffy like I am used to; it was more of a heavy batter that did not absorb the sauce as much. Might be the last time I visit this place.

We visited this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant recently. Parking was easy, which was a plus. However, the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The price was on the higher side, but the food quality was just average—not particularly impressive. The ordering system was a mix: you have to go to the center counter to place and pick up many of the items yourself, while some dishes can be ordered through a waiter. It felt a bit inconvenient. Service was okay, but not very attentive. Given the price and setup, I don’t think I’ll be returning. There are better sushi options out there in terms of both quality and value.

Very disappointing experience. We were told our young daughter could not even sit with us because she doesn’t eat sushi, so she had to go parking lot and wait alone in the car—despite the restaurant being half empty. The sashimi was partially frozen, and the conveyor belt selection was very limited with a few items tasting fishy. Unfriendly service and not family-friendly at all.
