Lovely restaurant. We stopped for lunch. Food was fresh and delectable. We enjoyed every bite of everything we ordered. A lot of fun vege options was included in the menu. Service was very accommodating as well. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Good sushi and very large menu. Service was ok, but they were super busy around 6-7pm on a Saturday night. Good place for a quick date night.

They have their own parking lot, which is very convenient. The restaurant itself is huge with plenty of staff, and even on a weekend we were seated quickly. We ordered the $70 set for two people, along with a kid’s set that came with teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki chicken was tasty—not overly sweet or burnt—and they brought it out quickly, which was perfect since our toddler was hungry. The set menu was a great choice: you get one appetizer, three entrées, and one dessert from their selection. The BBQ tuna stood out as especially impressive, and the other entrées we picked were equally delicious and satisfying. The cheesecake dessert was another highlight. Service throughout our meal was efficient and friendly. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

I have enjoyed the yummy dinners at Mikuni in Elk Grove many times. They have delicious food and attentive service. We ordered sushi to go this time. They have excellent packaging for all the dishes, and the food is still very fresh and delicious. The restaurant is very busy today because of Mother’s Day. The parking lot is huge, so parking is not a problem with a short walk.

Solid food for the price. Decent portion size as well. Service was amazing and very attentive. I was sitting at the bar on the right when you walk in, and one of the TVs were not working. Everything came out quick though and was tasty so I don't mind.

The food here is amazing, from the display and overall taste. The rolls are very creative and provides much more fusion style. The decor of the store is so beautiful and inviting, its a wonderful atmosphere and I would definitely return again. Although the theme, style, comfortability, and taste of this place is great, service can be a bit slow and servers are aren't assigned to each table. Overall the experience was great and we even won a pair of sunglasses from my aunties birthday!

I've been to Mikuni about 6 times now. It's always been fairly busy, and when it's busy it's incredibly loud there. The staff has always been friendly, and I think the longest I've waited for a table was 30 minutes. The food is delicious, and usually comes out pretty quickly. I can't tell you if the real sushi is good or worth the money, since I don't eat seafood and only get vegetarian rolls. The edamame is delicious, and my favorite is the Vegi-ten roll with veggie tempura inside. Going during happy hour saves you a few bucks, and is definitely worth it.

I ordered the sesame chicken plate, and the chicken was terrible. The inside was tough, chewy and unseasoned, the crust was soggy, and the alcohol in the sauce wasn't cooked off at all.

Mikuni, has lost their way with the new ownership. Service times are are unacceptably high and the food quality is inconsistent heading towards "time time to find a new sushi place". It's too bad we've really enjoyed their offerings for years.

Good service, nice and friendly server, but food is below average. I'm only speaking for the items I ordered. The noodle does not worth over 20bucks. It looks like a bag of supermarket udon and stir fried with shrimp which I can make at home for less oily and probably taste better. Small rolls compare to others. But they close later than other sushi restaurant.

We usually like Mikuni but this visit was definitely off. It's probably the location as well. Our service was very good, but the kitchen was very slow. The curry was a little bland and the sushi looked to be breaking apart. Bathroom had a broken urinal and a sink that didn't work. The Koki club app was also not working and there is little to no signal and inoperable wifi in the store to fix it. Be sure to also check your receipts. We came for happy hour and was charged regular price. The staff fixed this though when we caught it just be on alert.

We have been dining here for over 5 years and never felt this unwelcomed in our lives. Our server kept bringing us the wrong rolls and when I brought this up to the manager, Kayla, she yelled/cursed at us for "bothering" her.

This location is the worst! The server made a few mistakes and he did not even bother to apologize. He made me feel very rushed and unwelcomed. When I confronted the manager- Tuyen - He told me to get out. This location needs a lot of work!
