Pho Best offered a decent experience overall. I was seated promptly around 1 PM on a Sunday after church. Their Vietnamese Drip Coffee over ice was a highlight – not too sweet, which I appreciated. The salt and pepper squid came out hot, and while the accompanying sweet and spicy sauce was nice, a dash of sriracha really elevated it. The portion of the Fillet Mignon Cubes with rice was generous, but the dish itself lacked the savory umami flavor I was hoping for. While this particular entree wasn't my favorite, I'm considering giving Pho Best another try to sample their pho.

I came with my wife and daughter for a late Saturday lunch. Both the service and food were okay, and the price was reasonable. The food presentation was nice. When we walked in, the waitress just pointed a table that only has one menu. She didn’t get us more menu. I had to got up and fetched the menu myself. I had the curry chicken. I think it is not very flavorful. The fried spring roll retained a lot of oil so it was very greasy. So I don’t recommend this dish.

We ate past 9pm and this is our 2nd time eating here because the other one that we usually go is already closed. Seems the pho soup is full of meat which is good or maybe because this is already last order. I ordered grilled Porkchop rice is just ok. Service is not at its best. Not worth to pay 18% minimum tip.

It is a very nice looking place and also I really appreciate their food presentation. But to be very honest, i did not like their food that much. Took the lobster pho and they did not provide a cracker so I literally had to fight to bring out the meat. Also ordered the beef pho, I felt the quantity of protein was not much and it tasted less than average. Their grilled squid was the star of the show. It tasted really good and I would highly recommend that.

Same sentiments as everyone else. Was pleased with how Flushing’s Pho Best was and this place’s experience was very disappointing Although they just recently opened here in Elmhurst— the service was a giant departure from the other Pho Best— or that of any restaurant. The wait time is to be expected for any new openings. However, the waiters/waitresses were overwhelmed. Tables were not numbered and they frequently stopped by asking if this was our order or not. Also, upon sitting— we waited for close to 30 minutes before anyone asked for our appetizer order. We attempted to order beverages and the waiter told us— not a good idea, they were out of app beverages. And then another 30 minutes to get our food The food portions were generous and you get a lot of value for the money. Food was tasty and they respected the free crispy shrimp roll with any order above $8, which tasted fresh and delicious The decor was nice. Overall, this place isn’t bad. It’s just the service was horrible and not the fault of the staff. It is the management who is overworking and under training the team. We waited an hour for just ordering the food and then receiving them. If they can get their service better...it will be a way better experience

The guy at the cashier is very rude and zero customer service skill. I often go there in but this time I went to pick it up, made me wait 15 min after he said the order was ready for pick up. I waited even though I was double parked with zero complaint. When it comes to them giving the wrong order, he was telling me to bring it back. I just drove to pick it up, they messed up and they should be coming to pick it up. The Filet mignon was smelling old and not the regular style which we normally get in the store which we informed him. I have been going there for many years, but now I will not be going there anymore. Food quality has gone down and person who is supposed to handle customer service is just too ignorant and rude. No wonder why they have less than 4 star.

REPORTING THIS PLACE TO GET SHUT DOWN. My friend and I stopped here this evening for pho and ordered two shrimp and mixed vegetables. We got home and started eating our bowls and we found a nasty bug in our food! This is completely unsanitary and disgusting. How does a bug in end up in here? We are disgusted and feeling sick. Please do not order from here

Restaurant has a roches. Roach run on the table my napkin my fork. Waiters do nothing. I’m worried that it will be on my legs so I’m not happy eating anymore

Service and attitude of waiters are unacceptable. First time going by myself I was left standing at the door for 5+ minutes while thrown at least three glances by one of the waitresses. They claim they “thought I was take out”. Second time going with a friend we ordered two bowls of pho worth $30 and they barely serviced us, yet still guilt tripped us into giving tips, when me and my friend were clearly high school students. They also openly laughed to their coworkers about how I was refusing to tip because we were students. Third time going with another friend we had the same order and when we paid I left a two dollar tip because once again, they barely serviced us. The waitress flipped open the check in front of us and stated that “we didn’t give enough money”. I would like to state that tipping was NOT part of the mandatory fees nor stated anywhere in the store that it was, and if it isn’t it is ILLEGAL to force people to tip.

Food is decent but if i have to give 18% minimum tip money then I want better service from stuffs. Would recommend your stuffs to train to give customers better service. The stuffs attitudes are so bad. The only time they treat us well is the time we have to pay and asking for tips cuz I didn't circle the tip part cuz the service is too bad. Will never dine in again.

All the employees were extremely rude and the costumer service was unprofessional. Although the food was okay, I did not feel welcomed at all. Also, my friend got harrased by one of the employees saying that he was going to get one of the servers fired because he didn't tip at least 20% she was acting ridiculous in front of the whole restaurant.

The food is pretty good in this restaurant, they have decent pho noodles, chicken over rice, and spring rolls. However, the staff’s attitude is nasty and extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The staff seemed annoyed and even upset especially when bringing food and items on our table, almost slamming every thing without saying excuse or the slightest announcement to be presentable. The staff never said anything to us except taking our order, not offering a glass of water unless we asked for it, or simply asking us if everything is okay. When it was time to pay, everyone suddenly became overly friendly and happy, thanking me multiple times while pulling out my card to pay. When I only put a $5 tip on my $50 bill, the smiling dropped and the thanking stopped. They asked if the service was bad and I told them that it was okay, it was definitely below the bare minimum but was still trying to be nice. After getting my receipt, all the stuff started crowding before the door and started harassing my friends and I on what went wrong or if the customer was really that bad for them to receive a $5 tip. I personally thought that $5 was being generous. They kept on harassing us by raising their voices and antagonizing us as we try to exit the restaurant causing a scene. They asked us if they should fire their co-worker for such a bad service which we thought was so unnecessary and rude. I would love to go back to this place because they have some really good food, but because of the staff behavior and this experience, will never be coming back nor will I recommend this place to anyone else. Do better and be grateful.

Went in got pho, the noodles were terrible and soft, the broth was flavorless and the worst part was the servers coming to me saying that I tipped incorrectly , crossed out my tip and made me do the recommended tip. This was very uncomfortable as it’s not mandatory to tip in the US and I already had a tip included and was chased down

Honestly, the food at this place was not bad, which is why I decided to visit a second time. However, on both visits, I experienced unfriendly service from the servers. They all appeared irritated, as if they were upset. What I found particularly ironic was that when I repeatedly said “thank you,” the waitress did not respond at all. Yet, at the very end, when she brought the check, she suddenly began saying “thank you” to me multiple times and even wished me a Happy New Year. I found this quite shocking and disappointing. This felt like a typical tactic seen in some restaurants, where servers who provide below-standard service suddenly become friendly only at the moment of payment in order to receive a higher tip. It comes across as immature and insincere. In truth, I liked the food and would have wanted to visit regularly. However, the consistently poor and discourteous service from the waitstaff made the experience very unpleasant. For that reason, I will not be returning, and I will also advise people around me not to visit. I would like to wish the owner success in their business, but with service like this, that seems difficult. It is truly regrettable. I do not wish to spend my own money to dine while receiving this kind of service.

The service wasn’t good and we were only 3 people and we paid in cash and I don’t think it’s compulsory to ask for tips although we did tip 15% but they forced us to pay 20% tip which doesn’t make sense as we had to grab the menu and ask for spoon and everything. And they wouldn’t bother us if we need water also.. so where they came from rules that we have to pay for 20% tips for 3 people for a service that’s bad?? N at this cold weather there heater is off.. so I don’t get it for what reason did we owe 20% tips for them

I went to the restaurant around 10.20am. I ordered lemongrass bbq chicken. When I got home I opened box, first thing I saw was almost burn bbq chicken. Look like they put grilled chicken in the microwave. This chicken was very hard and super dry. Very disappointed 👎🏻

The pho broth is too salty with msg taste. The filet mignon rice vermicelli uses cheap cuts of meat, uses salad dressing (some variation of Asian sesame) which makes the vermicelli inedible, uses salad from a bag. It’s a joke of a concoction any 3 year old can make. Finally, the summer roll with soft shell crab does not have much taste. The oil doesn’t have a good smell, leaves a disgusting aftertaste. They serve you “tea” but it’s just watered down “tea” with zero flavor or fragrance. Better if they just served me hot water because I wouldn’t have to worry about what it is I am imbibing. Like the typical Asian restaurant they keep rushing to take the order despite being repeatedly told we are still looking at menu. The menus are made of wood covers. They have faint smell of grease. Also look old and well used. Adds to the unclean impression. The environment is not clean. I sit down and can smell the faint stench (grease) in the table. It results from reusing same cloth to wipe tables without any proper cleaners. The wooden trays they use to bring out bowls are disgusting: old and clearly just reused without much cleaning. Don’t waste your money at place. The ppl who give it high stars clearly don’t see, don’t smell, and can’t taste.
