This is best restaurants i have ever seen in Newyork .
Best restaurant of new York
I recently went there with my friends for dinner and we were quite impressed by their food and hospitality. We ordered momo, chicken chili, Shapta etc. and it was great, reminded me of the one I used to have back in Nepal. The taste was fresh with high-quality ingredients. Definitely my new goto place.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taste of Himalaya in the heart of NYC's Jackson Heights. The Pork Chilly , Momo was a delightful culinary experience, perfectly complemented by the friendly ambiance and attentive service. What stood out the most was the owner's personal involvement and commitment to ensuring a great dining experience. It's clear that despite being a new establishment, Taste of Himalaya is on the right track. I highly recommend it to anyone in NYC or planning a visit – a hidden gem just a 2-minute walk from Roosevelt subway station in Jackson Heights
Lovely as always, a complete cultural experience!!
Great food. My favorite is chicken momo and chilli fish here!! Everything taste so fresh and ambience is very chill. Great service too! Highly recommend it!!!
Everything was fantastic. But the kitchen was slow. It's fine if you have time, but if you want a quicker meal go somewhere else and come back when you have time to go slow. Beautiful decor.
The best Nepalese/Tibetan food in the neighborhood. Friendly service and high quality dishes. I've been here several times already. Highly recommended!!!

Exemplary service and etiquette from Mr.Saugat, with the perfect ginger tea and momos.
Delicious food and excellent service. I recommend everyone to visit this lovely restaurant.
Amazing party space. It’s private, clean and service is great.
All timer favorite
Kind staff, delicious food, fair prices, clean and beautiful with a joyful atmosphere. We especially loved their ginger honey lemon tea and trying traditional dishes like thenthuk, manchow, jhol momo and tingmo. The flavors were special and it felt like they were cooked with love. We are already looking forward to going back again.
This place has everything I look for. You'll find reasonable entree costs, though full meals cost more. Every food option meets high standards. Staff attention stood out most prominently. The staff provide outstanding service with genuine warmth.
Every single dish we ate here was a delight, beautifully prepared, fresh ingredients, spicy but delicate, wonderful vegetables and condiments. Really kind and attentive service from friendly, welcoming owners and staff. Incredible value for the money. treat yourself! You'll be glad you went. We'll be back! Thank you!!
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere! I had a challenging day and so glad I found this place. It calmed me down and rejuvinated me. The food is great, you can feel that it actually has this thing... called... love... in it. It feels like you are eating in a restaurant temple! I highly recommend! I will be back!
I did a ceremony for my baby. To do event for 75 people, the place is cozy and food was delicious. I ordered too much food . All my people took foods as well. I was happy to bring some for myself. I could not stop praising the taste of food even though I did event 2 weeks ago 😀😃😃
Super delicious Himalayan food. Fresh, flavorful, clean and tasty. Very friendly and welcoming service.
The food was very Tasty. Service was wonderful. Chowmein was Very much like Nepali style
Delicious authentic food! This place is nice clean and exceptional. Ambience in here was pretty cool. This place is decorated with Tibet Nepali articles. Love it! Great customer service! As I was here for short visit from LA and was craving for Nepali food though I visited other Nepali restaurants as-well but I really really recommend this place far better than others looking into their customer service, cleanliness, price and above all TASTE . Highly recommend this place!
There were 5 of us and we ordered about 15 things and butter teas. They gave us free cheesecake cause we weren't fat enough. The food was amazing! Our favorites were the jhol momos, chili pork, chili fish, the tongue and the okra.
it's absolutely delicious!!! I have been coming here for months, and the food quality has been consistently great, which is something that is hard to do. Whenever I eat their food, I can taste the freshness and richness of their ingredients. My personal favorite is their Chicken Jhol Momo, which is flavorful yet not heavy at all. Their service is amazing as well. Their server is always kind and accommodating. He checks in on you consistently without being overbearing. Lastly, the atmosphere is very cozy. You can tell that love was put into the aesthetics. Do not pass on this gem of a restaurant.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taste of Himalaya, and it was nothing short of an extraordinary experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm, inviting aromas of authentic Himalayan spices, instantly transporting me back to the flavors of home. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with rich and complex flavors that perfectly balanced warmth and spice. The beef sukuti was a standout dish—perfectly seasoned, tender, and rich in flavor. It had that distinct smoky essence that brought back memories of traditional meals prepared with care and authenticity. The tingmo, a soft and fluffy steamed bread, was an ideal complement, perfect for soaking up the rich and savory flavors of the sukuti. The momo (dumplings) were also tender and flavorful, rounding out an exceptional meal. What truly set this experience apart was how every bite evoked memories of home—family gatherings, celebrations, and the comforting sense of belonging. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves incredible food but also stirs the heart with a sense of nostalgia. Taste of Himalaya is more than just a restaurant; it’s a culinary journey back home. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the true flavors of the Himalayas.
My first time at this hidden gem of a restaurant in Jackson Heights and It won't be my last. The food is outstanding. The service is friendly and on point. My go to Tibetan/ Nepal restaurant was Lhasa. Although the food at Lhasa is very good, the decor is lacking and dated. Himalaya is many noches above that. The decor and ambience is inviting and peaceful. Be warned if you are sensitive to incense, you might not like eating there. I feel it added to the food experience. I felt like i was eating in a buddhist temple! I had the Jhol momos and the Shapta Chili Beef. Both dishes were plentiful and delicious. There was enough for left overs. The Jhol momos were sensational. There are so many powerful flavors that i was at a loss to discribe them. So here is the recipes for the sauce. sesame seeds 1 tbsp cumin 2 tsp oil 3 dried kashmiri red chilli 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 cup tomato, chopped handful of coriander leaves 1 inch ginger, roughly chopped 1/2 tsp turmeric / haldi 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste 2 cup water, or as required 1/2 tsp sugar 2 tosp lemon juice I loved everything about this place! The location is great too! If you're on your way out of the E train @ Roosevelt Ave. GO THERE! | give it 5 Stars!
Highly recommend! Went on a random Monday afternoon. Had some beef momos and they were excellent! Will be coming back again.

Their attention to customers surpasses any restaurant in my experience. The flavors dissolved perfectly while I savored with closed eyes. You get immediate attention and staff is quick! The quality here seems almost supernatural. This restaurant stands apart from others.
The food here was soOo good. We had the momos, some flat noodle soup dish, and a shrimp dish. I highly recommend coming here. It’s so tasty and authentic.

I loved the chowmein
The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. Service is quick and friendly. Butter tea and cheesecake are my favorite.
Trying new cuisine in the area. Service is excellent!!! The food is pretty good. Price is fair. Love the smell of the butter tea(salt), I can tell I will be obsessed if it is sweet. Will definitely come back for others dishes.
This place was wonderful all the good I tasted was great. I would definitely go back again. Staff were so attentive and nice. Bathroom clean..
Got first time dinner out tonight, the place is super clean. The chicken drumsticks were very crispy, crispy chillie honey potatoes were in fakt mushy. Egg fried rice was very good and garlic butter noodles also. Sukuti beef was so chewy and not eddible. Chillie chicken was also ok.

Food was so bad 👎... a big NO ...stale ...
Food was lacking the seasoning. It was tasteless. Pork chilli pork was breaded.momo was not lacking seasoning. Total waste of money. Service was great
Waited too long just to order. Terrible service!!
Nice designed restaurant but momo is not good also not good service, I am very disappointed
The decoration and the overall place looked nice, however soon as we walked in, there was a strong odor of bleach or some chemical that definitely gave me a headache. Additionally the food there is very bland, although nicely presented it doesn’t taste as good at all. Would not recommend!
Food quality seriously needs to improve ..stale ..chicken momo was the worst it had weird smell n taste ..felt the meat had some problem.. fish stinks.. I never leave food but I had to for my health sake....please take the quality of food seriously. Shrimp was soggy..cheese cake was not fresh ..it was hard like stone ...the food seemed stale and felt it was reheated n given..I definitely want to alert every health conscious people...thali had pickle which was very old .taste was weird..beef sukuti had no taste ..I don't recommend any food ..there is always room for improvement so please make sure to make fresh food .. thank you ...
I recently ordered chicken choila and chicken jhol momos for takeout, and I was very disappointed with the taste of both dishes. It seemed like the chicken choila lacked salt and tasted like raw chicken. The jhol for the momos was excessively sour and had no other discernible flavors. I hope you can improve the taste and seasoning of these dishes to make them more enjoyable for your customers.

The last time I had chicken momo soup, I had a very dry dough , very thick meat, more bough than anything else. And then the momo sauce, what else to say, was too salty and sour. But The brothers and sisters who work there are very nice, but the chefs make the food no better than anyone else.
