I ordered this from Uber Eats with the hopes of finding a great place to have birria tacos, and it did not let me down. If I wanted to, I could drink the birria like bone broth because it's so delicious. It has a lovely crimson hinge and is expertly seasoned. To my astonishment, there was even meat in there. The quality is excellent and the price is quite fair.

One of the best tacos I’ve ever had! Their birria tacos are flavorful, crispy, and filled with tender beef. The consomé is rich and savory, a must-try! This spot is always busy for a reason, and the service is top-notch. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Flavorful and delicious! Sure, this is not a sitdown restaurant with a waiter (this is a food truck), but that is part of the experience with birria tacos. Get the Birria tacos as well as the consome. I spent less than $20 for three people here. Pay with cash to avoid extra trees.

Tacos and consume were so good! My friend took me here on a late night munchies run and I’m so happy. One of the best, if not the best, tacos + consume I’ve ever had. I love that they include only such a small menu. No need to complicate ordering here. They’ve perfected what they’re selling. I highly recommend this place. We ate this in the car in silence before we decided to go for seconds!

I finally understand all of the hype. Every major food site has talked about this food truck and rightfully so. While in NY i went twice times and was blown away both times. Every bite is perfection. Beware the lines can be long and it can take 20 min to get your food, but don't let that steer you away. Their menu is very simple just 4 items. Tacos, mulita, tostada, and consome. This allows them to perfect each one. You place your order with the employee (cash or CC), they give you a number and you anxiously wait for it to be called. Both times I got the mulita and the consome. The consome is loaded with chucks of delicious and tender meat. The mulita is the perfect vessel to dunk into the consome. This is a the perfect 1-2 punch. Eating this can be messy so be prepared. Prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly. The only thing holding this truck back is the lack of a place to sit down and eat. The truck has a small ledge to set your things down but other than that you are out of luck. With that said Birria-Landia is an absolute must in NYC.

Its a bit of a wait but definitely worth it! It was really cold on the day we bought it so we had to bring it elsewhere before eating- I could definitely imagine how good it would’ve been if we got it kore fresh though! Even though we weren’t able to eat it fresh, it was still delicious and some of the best tacos over ever had. Would definitely recommend and try again!!

Delicious tacos and consomé! It warmed us up during a cold February afternoon. It was worth the trip and the price is great. The only con was that they had no stand to eat our tacos. We had to walk around the neighborhood to find a bench.

Ordered delivery from here, probably would’ve been better if I got it myself fresh. Overall wasn’t bad. If you’re looking for solid birria I’d recommend. Not the best birria I’ve had, but I love the addition of the picked red onions and spicy sauce on the side. I also had the cheese tostada birria ‘sandwich’ known as the multida which was tasty and had cheese. The birria itself isn’t the most flavorful but it does have a nice flavor and isn’t too fatty which I was glad about. The taco shell was great, tastes like it soaked in soaked in consume or toasted with achote oil. Nicely packaged and overall not a bad value at 5 dollars a taco and a bit more for the tostada.

Last Saturday went to see what all the hype was about. I ordered 3 Birria tacos and the consomme. Tacos were tasty but the consomme took it to the next level- flavor explosion! Price wise the consomme was $5.00 for a small serving. Tacos were $3.50 each. Next time I'll try the Birria tostadas!!!🌮

So this is my third time trying Mexican food, and I’m living for it! They’ve got just 4 items on the menu, so naturally, I ordered one of each. And honestly? Every single dish is chef’s kiss. Tacos, tostadas, mulita, and consomé—everything is just divine. The beef is cooked to perfection, and I’m absolutely here for it! The soup? It’s giving me major Thai vibes, like "tom saap," but then I realized—wait, this is for dipping with the tacos. Genius! Even when I totally eat it the “wrong” way, I’m still loving every bite. Honestly, no complaints here. Everything is flawless—zero pain points. Pure bliss. 💅

As someone who’s tried multiple Birrialandia locations, I have to say that while the Birrialandia Williamsburg is top notch and 5 stars, I would put this location and 2 currently when it comes to the food quality. The Williamsburg location does a great job as far as having a fair ratio between the beef and the onions/cilantro at 3:1. Additionally, the beef isn’t cut through enough and you encounter many more fatty and hard pieces of the beef when eating the taco which is always an unpleasant feeling and something I’ve never encountered at the other spots except for this one for now multiple occurrences. I’ll happily add 5 stars to the Williamsburg location after adding this review (Update: added 5 stars to the Williamsburg location), but it would be great to see improvement in this location as far as the love that the cookers put into the taco + beef that is placed at the other Birria-Landia locations (that actually remove the gristle/cartilage + bone fragments of the beef). I want to see all Birria-Landia locations succeed, especially the Jackson Heights location as it’s the original spot, but these improvements will need to be made to be up to par along with the rest of the Birria-Landia locations.

overpriced and not worth it!!! if im paying 21 dollars for 3 tacos and a consome i would at least expect the tacos to be normal size and not two-bite tacos. im actually pissed off about the portions…. taste good but whatever, overpriced!!!
