Great. Wonderful wait staff. Kind and polite
Crazy good food, vibes, and staff. We had a party of 6 and all of us loved it!
We stopped here for breakfast. Eldorado Diner is easy to get to, it’s close to both the entrance and exit of I-287 and it’s right on the main road. It’s right down the road from a few major hotels and office buildings. There’s plenty of parking available. The parking, the entrance and the seating is wheelchair friendly. It’s a diner so like most diners they offer a wide selection of food options. The service was good and the restaurant is clean. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want to get some food in a casual atmosphere.
If I'm in the area I always stop by for a bite to eat. Never disappointed. Food is prepared quickly. Great service and excellent desserts.
Stopped here for breakfast and was very happy with this diner. The place was clean and the food delicious, but what stood out was the service. I was asked at least 8 times if I wanted a refill of my coffee by different servers and repeated questions if we were okay, but without feeling like they were disturbing us. Would definitely recommend this diner.
They have a vast menu, which is typical for diners. We usually eat there for breakfast and the omelets are really delicious. The coffee is the best! We've also had lunch there and it's always good. The diner is always busy, and we never feel rushed to leave. Great service, too. Nice and clean bathroom. Highly recommend.
The food is delicious without being super greasy. They offer these perfectly made sweet potato chips as a side. Probably the healthiest diner food experience I've ever had.
Friendly waiter.. constant refill on hot water for tea. I order poached eggs on toast with bacon.. my eggs were perfectly poached. It was the precut amount of food for a lighter appetite. My friend order the Belgian Waffle with scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon along with two chocolate milkshakes.. ( he order a second one because he gulped down the first one before the food arrived 🤣) he left me a tiny taste because this food is too good to share according to him 🤣🤣🤣 I recommend this diner.. it’s open 24/7 and the food is always on point❤️❤️❤️
Been here 2 times in 3 days first time the El Dorado burger was great second time for breakfast/lunch steak and eggs can go wrong.
Called in at close to Midnight on a Sunday night when we’d missed our hotel had stopped serving, glad we did very nice welcome and really tasty food.
Food and coffee was good, service was quick, all the great qualities of a diner.
Had breakfast this morning. Everything was cooked perfectly. Waiters were very friendly and attentive. They came around and filled our coffee mugs without even asking. Food was reasonably priced and well portioned. Since our Holtel is up the street, we will definitely be back next morning for breakfast
True 24 hour diner. Sat down around 5:30am and was immediately seated. Ordered the Western Omlette (coworker did also) which was fantastic. Service was fast, food was great, and prices were reasonable. Will be going back when we are in the area again.
Driving through on a road trip and I was feeling omelet. Found this place on Google Maps and decided to go. They got a large parking lot and had tons of regulars around so that put me at ease. I ordered the meat lover omelet. Home fries were fantastic. Buttery soft with crispy ends. Entire meal was satisfying. Would recommend.
Food was delicious. Ordered a New York steak and was super pleased with the outcome. Service was nothing less than exquisite and diner was clean with a pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Very good food at a good price They are open 24 Hours, very friendly staff . Big free parking
This is the Great American Diner... I wish there were more around.. the food is fantastic and the service was great!...
It’s always a wonderful time when I come here with my partner. Breakfast and dinner 10/10. He recently ordered the California panini combined with the Texas panini and lovedddd it. I had the chicken picatta, very light and delicious, big portion! Special thanks to our waiter Osias! We appreciate the hospitality and will be back soon!
Very warm, inviting place. Our waitress (and her daughter she was training! ) were very attentive, friendly and charming. The food was delicious!
They were able to accommodate all 30 of us. Despite the large number of us, our food still arrived in a timely manner. The food itself was very good. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which was good.
Eldorado was an enjoyable dining experience, albeit a little expensive for the simple fare we ordered. My silver dollar pancakes were light fluffy perfection! They offer a wide selection of milkshakes and desserts. Although I did not try any of them they looked fantastic. The staff was friendly and prompt. If you are looking for a bite to eat after 10:00 pm this is the spot for you because they are 24 hour.
I have been going to this place for a long long time. I always make sure when I am in the area to stop off at one of my favorite diners of all-time. You can order anything off the menu and know it's going to be delicious and satisfying. Their milkshakes are out of this world as well...
We wandered off the Taconic and found this sweet diner. We felt very welcomed! Service was fast and kind, and the food was excellent, especially the fries.
Nice diner order from here when it’s late sometimes. The food is always good.
We really enjoyed our food. We will definitely go back.
Great place if not the only place that particular area! Highly recommended! Great tasting food and great service! Diners are my preference!
Great food, friendly service, and surprisingly good cocktails. Didn't expect a cocktail in a diner...yet such a welcome feature.
Great spot with a huge variety of dishes on the menu. Excellent, friendly service as well! I definitely recommend this spot.
Great diner in Elmsford NY. I have lived in Westchester almost all my life and had never been to the El Dorado. Wes decided to stop in tonight for an early dinner and was very pleased. First it's very centrally located being on Rt. 119 right off the Saw Mill Parkway and the NYS thruway and 287. Second there is a ton of free parking. Third the building is modern and clean and has a ton of beautiful wood paneling.. The service was fast and friendly and the booth we sat in was comfortable. I ordered a half roast chicken with stuffing. The meal came with a soup or a salad and I opted for matzo ball soup which came in a bowl and was delicious. My wife has cream of turkey which again was great. The roast chicken was a great size and it was moist and tasty. My wife had chicken picatta over white rice which was fantastic. They gave you a basket of warm bread with crackers and bread sticks as well. The meal was filling and delicious and came at a fantastic price. This is a great diner that serves us great food in an old school diner environment !
Really great classic diner that is still open 24/7…easy off/on 287. The staff works really hard and the portion sizes are big.
Stopped in just before 7am and only a few customers were there. The host greeted me and told me I could sit anywhere. I was seen immediately by the server who got my coffee and water. I tend to need time to look at a menu and he was patient with me. I ordered the western omelet with cheese (which comes with home fries and toast. Cheese is additional). My food was out within about 5-7 min. I was quite full and could not finish it all. Only put a little S&P on the potatoes, otherwise the omelet was good as is. The diner itself seemed clean and orderly. It was a bit quiet, as no music or "background noise" was on. Overall I was satisfied with my experience.
Back in February through March 2025, I stayed at the studio hotel across the road and ate in or ordered out from this diner several times a week. Every single dish I ordered was delicious, fresh, made to order and gave very generous portions. This might be my favorite diner in Westchester. On Main St, Elmsford, it's definitely worth pulling off the nearby exit for.
Stopped in after a 8-hour drive at 3:00 in the morning.. staff was super nice, our waiter was a really cool guy. Our food was good good great prices.
We had a great experience here on a Sunday morning. I ordered two eggs over easy with ham and whole wheat toast. It came with skillet fried potatoes. The food was tasty! My companion had the avocado toast with one egg. It was huge. Two big pieces of toast covered with all the deliciousness called out in the menu. If I was there for lunch or dinner I would have tried the pies! The prices are affordable and the service was excellent. What a great start to our day!
This place is an awesome dinner and the flavor to price ratio is amazing for what you pay. I had the gyro which included fries and a side greek salad that was entree size. I sat at the counter and the staff was 100% customer oriented. Cant wait to visit again...I appreciate the hotel staff that recommended it.
One of our favorite places to eat when we come to NY for church services! Everything on the menu is amazing and the service is usually really good! We have only ever had one problem with a server and it was easily fixed by getting a different server! If you haven’t eaten here I highly recommend it!!
Old fashion style Dinner. Great food, great prices, great service! A step back into the past.

Food was delicious, decaf coffee was just a bit warm and watery... other than the banana being WHOLE on the plate and funny... We were very pleased with our meal. Servers were very attentive!
Excellent and friendly service. Excellent food and portions at a fair price. Excellent prime rib and Greek salad.

We are so happy we decided to revisit the Eldorado. We had the best lunch. What a great place. Clean, friendly, wonderful service, and the dishes were outstanding.

Nice folks. Good food. Went for breakfast, twice. Loved the chubby sausages. Clean. Everything you could expect from a diner. Maybe not "gourmet" but top 10 diner fare. At least at breakfast.

This is your typical diner experience. I ordered Eggs Benedict and coffee. Service was great and the coffee and water were refilled as needed.
Wonderful diner with excellent service and food. Very reasonable prices and the food is large servings and fresh made.
Very great diner. There's a great atmosphere and an easy on easy off, it was also really great staff who were on top of the meal and drinks. Tasted great!
The burger was a little under seasoned but still good. Loved the buns they used and the fries were fresh. Restaurant was clean and service was great. Pretty big diner. Will definitely visit again.
agreeable prices and food quality. does a pretty good job and the hours make it a staple
Classic NY diner with the typically extensive menu and attentive service. I had a falafel salad and fries and my wife had coffee and a pita wrap. We filled up on half of our order and took the other half home. I like too, that the takeout containers are aluminum - no leaking, and easy to reuse or recycle.
Haven't been here in about 15 yrs (just wasn't in our usual path). Had breakfast with my husband. Service & food was very good. Portions are great. The only negative is that my husband drinks only decaf coffee & it didn't taste fresh. Regular coffee was fine. We will definitely be back.
Good food. Great for a quick bite. Fast friendly service. Recommend.
Went for breakfast. Good food. Typical diner atmosphere. Service was good.
I’ve mixed feelings about this diner. I drove to it because I’ve only been to places on the one side of the tapanzee. This place was a lot slower in service and because they didn’t have Baileys cream we ended up waiting for them to get it after making us reorder. I asked for my coffee iced and I got it hot. The menu said crispy chicken and I got fried instead. My friend said the guacamole in her meal wasn’t great. But we still liked the environment and how chill it was regardless, good place for long talks
The diner is located in Elmsford, New York. They prepare primarily an American style cuisine. Breakfast options, soups 🍲, salads 🥗, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, pasta, wraps, paninis, Spanish quesadillas, sides, beverages ☕️ and desserts 🍨 are available. Large free parking lot for customers. I ordered broiled filet of sole which was very good and better than most other eateries. My family enjoyed their hamburger and cheese omelet. Friendly and helpful staff.
Whenever we go to Atlantic City on our way back we always go to this diner our whole bus group is like 50 of us and we kind of take over that diner The food's okay. It's not the greatest best season but it's all right. After 2 hours of riding a bus it's good to have a stopover and have something to eat. My favorite food there is there breakfast you can't mess up a breakfast.
I thought we were doomed when a bus pulled in as we were walking to the diner from the hotel across the street. But no problem. They seem ready for this. Enjoyed the very well cooked breaded pork chops. Soup and sides were.good as well. Fantastic service.
Nice cosy diner. No frills standard all encompassing menu with a large selection of both meat and vegetarian options. This place is located just a 5 minute walk off the "North Trail" so makes a great place to freshen up and recharge after doing your daily mileage on the trail. There is plenty of parking on site.
Went for dessert and coffee Cake was stale. Could have chipped your tooth. Service Q a smile though!

Great food and this is your typical NY diner. I had a Reuben and don’t typically like open-faced sandwiches but this was really good. The service was also prompt and the restaurant was clean.
Service was good. Food was average, nothing special. It is in a great location so it gets lots of customers.
Classic diner atmosphere and decor. Very busy on a Sunday late morning, so it was a little chaotic, and the service was slow/distracted. Constant refills on coffee was a plus. Food was OK, home fries were plain and meal was average.
My daughter and I went here on a Sunday afternoon, the way home from Tarrytown. It was very busy. Lots of folks. I get excited about diners because they are generally home cooked food and cheaper in price. When I got the menu, I was shocked to see how expensive they were. The meals ranged from $15 and higher. I’m pretty sure I saw meals above $20 and higher. I was a bit disappointed with the cost. I think I paid $6 ( possibly $7) for two sodas. My total for the meal was $33 without tip. The two of us got the same thing because I advised her that the majority of the meals cost too much for my budget. All we got was eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast and two sodas and it wasn’t anything spectacular. It fed us. I get that inflatation exists, but when I see a diner, it always costs less than the average restaurant. If I knew it was a pricey place, i would have chose something else. Just be mindful, that this place costs a lot to eat.
The home fries were the worst i’ve ever had, and i’ve eaten at a lot of diners. They were so overcooked that they were more like brown mashed potatoes than home fries. Service was prompt and friendly. The place was clean and bright.
Server I had was not great. The server never really came back until we wanted the check. Didn't refill my friends coffee nor did we receive any napkins after asking. The food was okay, but maybe I should have picked something different.
Not a great experience. I came in pretty late , around 11pm. The booth they sat me in was sunken in (on the seat) and uncomfortable. The food came out just fine but needed extra tlc— the home fries seemed to have been sitting there all day and rubbery. The omelette itself needed seasoning just to be enjoyable. Parking was available and kids menu provided. Bathroom was well-kept. Probably will try other places if it’s a late night
Not the nicest diner in the area. Waiter got my sisters order wrong. Did not notice until she started to eat. Did not want to be a complaining customer, so said nothing. Ended up being over charged. The Waiter would not admit to being wrong. Ended up costing about 5$ more. Diner manager would not fix bill. Sadly ended up leaving no tip. Waiter also never came back to the table to see if we needed anything else. We will not be visiting this Diner again.
We spontaneously came here for lunch. It's a pretty standard diner. The kid menu was pretty robust, and the pasta and hot dog with fries did the trick. \n\nOur wraps were ok, though all the content…
* Service is always very fast. \n* Definitely overpriced for a diner\n* Ask for their French fries extra crispy, they're delicious. \n* Can't go wrong with their grilled cheese, it's a classic 10/1…
It seems like the place would be decent, but the food is pretty awful. Ordered a special off their breakfast menu, scrambled eggs over chips and a side of home fries. The cheese was Kraft and the home fries were cold and flavorless. The salsa was flavorless and probably from a can. The water had black flakes floating around.
Immediately got diarrhea after eating here. I had a cheeseburger on gluten free toast with fries and coleslaw. Idk what happened (maybe they gave me gluten bread?) but I'm not having a good tummy time.
Walked in this dinner on the way home. The location was great, close to the highway. The place itself needs to be updated and their policies are a bit outdated. What they have on the menu is what you will get even if asked for modification asked on your dietary needs. They will not adjust their menu
Great atmosphere but the food was meh. I asked for a Cuban sandwich. Bread was squishy instead of the traditional panini style presentation. Coffee was horribly bitter and I like strong coffee. Back to this sandwich, do you see the lack of wow?! Our waiter never checked on us and we had to get up to give the hint that we needed the check. Prices were ballooned, even for the Westchester area. I could skip a trip there my next time in NY.
The food is good and the portions are generous. Unfortunately, the nighttime service was rude and unprofessional. The waiter rushed me to order and was unpleasant, which made the experience uncomfortable. The woman at the front was also unwelcoming. It’s disappointing because the quality of the food deserves much better customer service
Service was good. We had 2 dinners, Chicken Parmasean with Spaghetti was a decent portion, the Spaghetti was overcooked, very soft and limp. The sauce was ok, but a bit too sweet. The chicken cutlets tasted like dirty oil from the deep fryer and had way too much cheese melted on top. The pastrami sandwich was made with Turkey pastrami, yuck! The serving of pastrami was also very small, open faced with sauerkraut and Russian dressing on Rye bread. It came with fries which were acceptable. When paying the bill, there was a problem with the credit card machine at the front counter. The employee / cashier, an older guy, began insisting I pay cash. I've used my credit cards all over the world and never had a problem making a payment anywhere except here at the Eldorado Diner. The waiter told me he has spoken with the manager about other customers having issues attempting to make credit card payments. I was finally able to complete the transaction, but the food and the terrible checkout experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. I would never give this place a second chance!
This was an Uber order. The meatloaf tasted like it was a meat substitute with a really weird texture. I ate 3 bites hoping it would get better but I had to throw it out after that.

Services great, food over priced. \nKids meals are all over 10 for simplest items . \nTasteless.
Never going again! cakes had mold. staff refused to serve us because we complained about the cake. Horrible customer service.

The food wasn’t the best and the service wasn’t the best either. Which is why I didn’t tip that well, and then the manager literally questioned me for it which really caught me off guard. Not only that but he was also rude about us not asking for separate checks. Will not be going back.
If I could give 0 stars I would! My friend and I went there, and we each ordered a burger, some hours later we felt very bad, a lot of vomiting and diarrhea! The worst part was that we had a trip to Virginia the next day. During the entire trip we vomited, had diarrhea and a lot of body pain! This is the second time I've eaten at this place and this happens! Terrible quality, I should sue you, where is the food surveillance? Are they stored and refrigerated correctly? The food is within its expiration date? So I leave my warning: DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!
I don't know what happened to this diner but I went there this morning and ordered a mushroom onion tomato and Swiss cheese omelet. Worst omelet ever!! Large chucks of onions took over the dish...tomatoes were scant and had no flavor...mushroom slices were huge and few...I could barely see or taste the Swiss cheese. The dish was clearly hurriedly thrown together. Maybe it was the real chef's day off. I may give it another try because others seem to have better lunch/dinner experiences. Service at the table was very pleasant although the woman at the register was not customer friendly at all....very curt and unpleasant.
Ordered 2 Bison “Bacon” cheeseburgers to go and was clear to cook both medium well done as I figured they might overcook the burgers. Got home and both burgers were overcooked and had no cheese and no bacon either burger (was charged $8.50 for the bacon). Girl who took the order over the phone had a slight attitude when I called in the order. I called them and spoke with the attitude girl who said the manager wasn’t there but a moment later put on a guy with a Latino accent who said he was the manager.. This so called manager had a worse attitude and wanted me to drive back to get a $8.50 refund for no bacon but I live in another town. Don’t order “ to go” from here if you care about the details.
This establishment is not open 24 hours, or it is only when they decide not to throw a childish fit. I think they got upset that a homeless man decided to sit down inside, so they literally decided after fifteen or twenty minutes that everyone in the restaurant had to leave at 4am with no notice whatsoever. I was having a bagel and coffee while waiting for the busses to start running again, and even planned to order more while getting work done, and they decided without notice that everyone had to leave while it was dark and no transit was running. I was the only woman, and the situation with all men was not the safest. One man even started harassing me about wanting to share an Uber without taking no for an answer while the manager locked the door behind me and trapped me in that unplanned and unsafe situation. The staff refused to answer questions, look anyone in the eye, they got passive aggressive, and started treating people weirdly. It was covertly hostile, uncomfortable, unprofessional, irresponsible, and just gross. I would avoid this place if you don't want to deal with random hours and sudden changes in it, and sudden and unpredictable hostile attitudes and unsafe situations. I would avoid it if you don't want to give money to people who treat others poorly.
This piece of trash diner do not order from them. I ordered the potato skins it said it comes with cheddar cheese and chives . Why they give me pork on my food and when I called they gonna tell me I have to come to them to get my food made correctly. And the guy who works there hung up on me when I asked his name. I hope this place gets shut down bc I know this is not a first. Also the chews thru put on the potato look like cheese wiz disgusting couldn’t even give me real cheese
Horrible service, didn’t get silverware or water. They add there tip to the tab and it shows. Also this is mixed vegetables. Which is not cheap. It was all onions and a few pieces of zucchini and peppers. My tab for this and added meat plus a drink was 67 dollars. This place is a joke! They prey on tourists or people staying at the hotels.
Rushed service and misleading information on the Menu. I was asked 3 times within 5 minutes if I was ready to order (I was not due to some confusion about the menu). I ended up ordering from their Breakfast Menu a Texas Avocado Toast (French Toast with Avocado, Mixed Greens, Chopped Tomato, Olive Oil & Sunny Side Egg) and I was given dry Texas toast with eggs over it and a salad with balsamic dressing of the side. This item was in the Breakfast section of the Menu (next to the pancakes). When I went up to discuss the restaurant's vision for the sandwich, they shut me down. I did not ask for a discount or to have the item removed from my bill, I was just looking for clarification of what this item was actually supposed to look/ taste like. I gave the wait staff person a 20% tip regardless. Very discouraging treatment and quality of the food. Do not recommend.
