The food and the service are as I remember it in the Midwest! Location is pretty easy to get to and right near the Emeryville shopping district (Bay Street, Ikea, Best Buy, Michael's etc) which is nice before/after a day shopping. Plenty of parking and a comfortable interior. No drive thru at this location. I'm here for the nostalgia and it does not disappoint!
It feels like the employees are happy at work. In this connection, their feelings go out to and touch their customers. I felt it. It feels great.

This place is criminally underrated the sandwiches are always warm, and the reason why it's at 4 stars not 5 is the awful waffle fries. Do NOT order them try the potato chips or the vanilla yogurt. The waffle fries are soggy, cold, and bland so if any employee sees this fix it please. As for the atmosphere it's far too crowded order online it'll save you a headache. I recommend the iced tea or frosted lemonade for drinks.
Super busy and packed with customers but to my surprise the staff were well organized and efficient. They seem to have a well oiled machine. I’ve been wanting to go for a few weeks now but haven’t because of the crowds. I would have never thought that I’d be able to order and have my name called in less than 10 mins. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and are very friendly. I got hella chik fa la sauce and my cashier said “I got you” and they did! Well done :)
I ordered my breakfast and lunch because it's Chick-fil-A why not 🤸♀️😁!! I really enjoyed my food and it was made with pure love the ingredients and the meat was so fresh juicy and tasty!! The Cobb salad is now my number 1!! Thank you so much Chick-fil-A 😊

Best fast food salad I have had, the market place salad. The kid's breaded nuggets were clearly real chicken breast, cut, versus the normal pressed nuggets. The side choices of fresh fruit, applesauce or waffle fries were perfect for the 3 different kids with me. I also appreciated the grilled chicken option in the kids meal. It is pricier than similar kids meals, but you all probably already know that. Real food, not highly processed does cost more. We will use this as a treat spot. $38.00 for 3 kid meals, 1 adult (water and salad) We got our food within 2 minutes of sitting at our table. Everyone was courteous and efficient, The cashier misheard us say apple sauce and thought we wanted apple juice ( an extra drink) and pointed out a charge. I thought he meant upcharge for child getting soda drink, but upon realizing we had extra drink, not the correct side, supervisor helped reverse that drink charge and give us applesauce side, within 30 seconds. When I asked if dressing had MSG the clerk brought me a packet to read.
This Chick-Fil-A has their operations down! Which is surprising for a new Chick-Fil-A, they are well setup for a large amount of traffic and the experience is great! The operator and team deserves a Chick-Fil-A award for how they set things up here both for the customer experience and for efficiency. Even take a look at the men’s rest rooms, it’s so clean and there’s flowers. Probably the cleanest Chick-Fil-A bathroom I’ve ever been in. The staff are super friendly, diverse and well dressed. This is the closest place to San Francisco, much long awaited. And the food is great as expected. If you haven’t tried Chick-Fil-A now is your chance to do so!
the food is so good as chick-fil-a usually is. I would usually say that the service is good. The staff were very friendly as usual but even on calm days, it takes quite a while to get your food. The atmosphere is very loud but if you can handle that you should be fine.
This is a nice Chick-fil-A in a nice location. The only one for miles and miles around. They have lots of staff and security working hard protecting the Lord's chicken. We always order ahead on the app because the lines here are pretty long. They have a nice seating area outside and plenty of free parking. My son loves their chicken Nuggets and I like my spicy chicken sandwich. They have good ice for my large unsweetened tea.

Went to just grab a quick bite to eat, Chicfila is EXTREMELY meticulous about whom they hire and the process they go through, so service is always 5 Stars no matter what BUT the pricing is getting out of control. $6+ for a Chicfila DELUXE, JUST THE SANDWICH? Aside from that, no notes. Fast service, food is quality, amazing customer service.

This is probably the most efficient Chick-Fil-a I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t have a drive thru. Just park, in one of the many parking spaces and pop in to grab your food. The kitchen is very fast. The downside to not having a drive thru is the constant coming and going of cars and people. I ate in my car and witnessed many close calls between cars & cars and cars & pedestrians. Not a good parking lot to let little kids roam freely. Pro tip: use the app to order ahead is you are on the go. You’ll be in and out before you know it. It’s in Emeryville/Oakland, so don’t leave anything in your car. There was decent police presence from Emeryville. Oh, it shares a parking lot with a Target.
Damon is amazing. He greeted me and asked if I needed anything. I watched him do this with everyone. A woman spilled and he was so kind and helpful about it. I'm sitting here eating my sandwich and just had to take a moment to recognize him and this place. The customer service is always on point. I used to work in service industry and you get way more complaints than complements. Of course, the food is great too!
There’s a greeter named Ricardo there that is so nice. It was busy but he made us feel so welcomed.
I am not a customer. But I want to share my opinion. I have seen many dashers, or food delivery guys, they are doing a wonderful work, they should be treated as your customers and they should be given a designated sitting or standing area. They should not be chased away. Let us all make our customers happy.

I moved to the Bay Area from Atlanta Ga just 6 months ago. In Atlanta CFA was a go to for me as they are on every corner. Since moving to the Bay Area being able to still have my chicken sandwich and soup has been everything to me - a little piece of back home. I am also pregnant with my first child and all I can eat with ease is chick fil a chicken noodle soup. Thank you to the team at Emeryville Chick Fil A for always getting my order out quickly, correct and still piping hot! I love you!!

People working there were super nice and patient. Many were just standing there talking but I didn't really care. Service was great, place was clean. My first time trying the food. I only loved the fries.
I thought I wouldn't like the fact that there was no drive through. It was such a bummer to me that they did not make that happen at this location. However, I found that the dining room was very pleasant. The bathrooms are always very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating and I actually do stop and sit down and eat here, and it's kind of nice to not just roll through a place but to actually stop and enjoy my food nice and hot as soon as it comes out. So, this Chick-fil-A fully location is really convenient. I like that they have security and I love that it's very diverse. You see every hue at this location, which like a church, is a sign of health. Keep up the great work you guys are doing a phenomenal job at this location!

We had catered lunch for an office of 30. Aysia was very helpful with guiding me through the menu and we were able to cover all the needs (ie vegetarian and gluten-free options). Aysia delivered the order as well. She was on time and let me know ahead of time or her arrival. Food was delicious and we got plenty of sauces. The kale salad and fruit platter were our surprise hits! Great team over there at Emeryville. Thank you!
The chick-fil-a is wonderful. Fast comes out fast, it's hot, the come around and check if you need anything. It's clean and friendly.
Very consistent and probably has the best macaroni and cheese of all the other Chick-fil-A’s in the area. My only request from this location is to make sure that the lids actually fit on the gallon jugs of juice because the one I ordered tonight tipped over and some spilled in my car. In general and not specific to this location, but Chick-fil-A get it together on the size of them chicken nuggets because they are way too small for the price.
The service was really good. Today I was served by a respected old man . He was really sweet and best. We chatted for 3 mins and he was the best server you could ever asked for.
I never thought in my wildest dreams there would be a chick-fil-a out here in Emeryville! I used to drive all the way to fremont just to get the taste of the lord's chicken. As always, customer service is stellar, my deluxe chicken sandwich was out of this world delicious along with my macaroni and cheese. Now I know where to go!
Very busy, a local team being honored, carnations at every table - as usual the food at chik-fil-a is good, tasty, hearty, and it doesn't trigger any of my food allergies and sensitivities like so many places do. The quality of product is good, and also I'm learning the people, the employees, are really good at their jobs and well trained, and seem to be happy. We even had a greeter come out and ask if we enjoyed, if we needed anything... Taking a couple blind ladies into a store that chock full of people for restroom breaks and navigating longish counter lines looked pretty difficult, but the staff made it go smoothly, and I think this location was pretty blessed by good patrons too. Lots of families, kids in high chairs, sports fans, eventually a high school team, packed inside and out, all nice customers. I wouldn't avoid this location for being busy, they're doing it right.
Ricardo L. checked in on us as soon as we sat down to make sure we were all set, he even brought us some water when we asked. We watched him give amazing customer service to everyone else afterwards while also cleaning and maintaining that the self serve stations with napkins were stocked. He definitely deserves a raise for the work he does for the customers!
We stopped by 🍗 Chicken Fill for a quick bite and really enjoyed the experience! 😋 I tried their mac and cheese 🧀 for the first time — honestly, it wasn’t for me 🙈, so I wouldn’t get it again. BUT the peach smoothie 🥤 (more like a peach milkshake 🍑🥛) was amazing — super refreshing and delicious! 💛 Highly recommend it! Our order was ready fast ⏱️ and we sat outside 🪑 enjoying the street view 🚗 while eating. It was a lovely and relaxed moment 💆♀️. Great service, tasty food (especially the drinks!), and chill vibes. Definitely worth a visit! 👍✨ RECOMMENDED 💯
The chicken minis in particular are very good, plus I like all of their other menu items too. The staff is very friendly and helpful every time I go in to pick up food. My only concern is that the table cloths in the pick up area look very dirty. They are red with the chickfila logo but then as you get to the bottom, there are literal black spots of dirt and grime. It's very obvious they don't wash them regularly. Since that same cloth is on the top too, where they hand you your food, it is pretty gross to think about. I just make sure I throw the bag away and don't set it on my tables at home. Other than that, is very good.
Too crowded for the best burgers in town. Plan ahead for this place and it’s worth the ride. Since Chick-fil-A has few locations at San Francisco it’s always busy. The quality of the food is good and it’s fresh. Love what they do.

Chick-fil-A: where the chicken's holy, the service feels like a warm hug, and yet… somehow I still miss greasy regret. Great food, suspiciously cheerful staff, but I’m docking 2 points for being closed on Sundays when I crave it most.

Rating this was difficult because the ban that began in 2012 by the LGBTQIA+ community of Chick-fil-A restaurants, so I rated it based on the food and service I personally received at this location (considering I'm a normal, run-of-the-mill gay man). Everything was great. Their location used to be a, "Panera Bread", so their was no drive thru... and at 8:30pm on a Wednesday, it was a full house both the parking lot and inside the restaurant. It appeared that 80% of the people inside were waiting for to-go orders. Only a few people sat and ate inside. The lines inside moved really quickly and I received my food quickly too, which, by the way, was incredible... I think it's time that the LGBTQIA+ community lay down their picket signs and visit Chick-fil-A. Then again, this was in Emeryville, CA. Just across the Bay Bridge from the gayest city in the world - San Francisco!
Totally glad they finally came to the area. I really missed Chick-fil-A. Only negative is the parking. There is not enough ADA parking or parking period. Food is fresh and delicious.
First time trying Chick-fil-A after hearing all the hype. I went in with high expectations, and while the chicken burgers were definitely good, juicy, well-seasoned, and satisfying they weren’t quite the mind-blowing experience I was expecting. That said, the Chick-fil-A sauce is outstanding. Easily the highlight of the meal and something I could happily eat every day. Overall, solid quality, just slightly overhyped.
Ricardo L. gave me the best service I’ve ever had! Very caring and kind, as well as courageous! I felt really welcomed by him more than any other employee! He also is the best dressed in the entire store. When I come back I would love to see him here again!
I went a couple days ago for the first time at this location and honestly the food was good! It was also excellent service, a nice girl named Mya took our order and was very kind. Overall, the experience wasn't bad at all and I will be going back!
This is only the second chick-fil-A I’ve been to. This location is at the corner of a Target parking lot and does not have a drive thru. My burger and fries were good, and the people nice, but I felt that condiments easily available at the Walnut Creek location were not here. I’m also unaccustomed to having to upgrade my burger to a deluxe version to get lettuce and tomato. I believe the regular burger only comes with pickles. Just nuts.
This Chick-fil-A location is nice, quick, and efficient, making it a reliable spot for a meal on the go. The employees are consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Their customer service really stands out, ensuring each visit is pleasant and hassle-free. However, I do have a couple of complaints. When ordering ahead online, the drinks are often extremely watered down despite arriving just seven minutes after placing my order. Additionally, there was one occasion where I ordered meals and I was given the regular spicy chicken sandwich despite ordering a deluxe, and then the burgers were as thin as paper, with almost no meat at all. These issues slightly detract from the overall experience. Aside from these hiccups, everything else about this Chick-fil-A location rocks! The food is usually fresh and delicious, and the efficient service ensures minimal wait times. If they can address these issues, it would make an already great experience even better.
I waited for 25mins for my meal there was a bunch of people waiting for their orders in a very tight space. Once I received my order the fries were not warm and very salty the lager and regular size fries were the same amount and also very salty. The Mac and cheese was good and so where the sandwichs. 1st time going and maybe I might just wait awhile till I go back. Great to have you guys in Oakland hope y'all stay
It really hurts when Chick fil a says they value the community, however when I reached out they made our non profit jump through hoops and collected our information on their portal just to deny foster youth who already have been told no and have no support. Although I value what the owner is doing in the community I wish they would give from their heart and not because they need to know us.
Chick-fil-a is always good food, I’ve never had an issue with that. Living in Oakland I was very excited to have one come close to home, however, the system they have for online ordering pick up is a joke. I’m sure a drive thru at this location would’ve caused a lot of traffic and cars, but having everyone cluster together pushing and shoving through each other to try and get their order from a worker is ridiculous. I waited in the cluster of people for over 20 minutes, knowing that my order was ready, and couldn’t shove my way to the front to tell them my name. By the time I eventually yelled my name over the tops of peoples heads, my food was cold. So note to self: just go order inside, it’ll be done faster anyways. Also, at that point, it’s more worth it to go to a further location like Fremont, Pleasanton, or Walnut Creek.
I had a negative experience with server Cayleigh. I ordered carry out on Sat. 12/2/23 and requested hot sauce and ketchup. I was told it will be put in the bag. It was not. I got my own hot sauce because it was out on display . I asked the server for ketchup and told her it was not in the bag or out on display, like the hot sauce. She asked me if it was not in my bag and told me to open my bag to see if it was in the bag, really… I was surprised and annoyed by her request… who lies to get extra ketchup. I’m a customer if I ask for ketchup just give it to me. I felt I was receiving discriminatory treatment because I’m a black woman. Another customer gave me some ketcup. She offered me ketcup, after I refused to open my bag. I did not accept it because she offended me with her petty, discriminatory and unprofessional treatment. She seems a little slow and dizzy, even in taking my order. I had to repeat my order and she still did not get it right. This experience was very annoying and uncalled for. Horrible customer service from CAYLEIGH!!! She needs customer service and common sense training. She will not get to service me again.
Went to the place to try their's "so called" great food and ended up asking myself "what heck" is this! Let start from the beginning: the fast food place was almost full to their capacity, people talking so loud that the employees could barely hear you when placing your order. Secondly: It took +/- 15 to 20 minutes for the order to be filled. No surprise since the place was busy. Third: due to the high level of the "customer noise" inside of the place I decided to take my meal "to go" Ob*: I believe you can order through a "to go" line that I noticed stretching toward the parking lot. Can't say how long it would take for you to place the order and then wait for it. Fourth: Bad Surprise! Could not believe how small and unappealing the food was when I opened the boxes!! It gets even worse when I remembered what I paid for it. Conclusion: NOT WORTH! I understand the restaurant business, I worked many years on it. But the bottom line is : I work hard for my money and what I got in return for what I paid for was an insult! Have to give to them that the chicken part of the sandwich was very good! The bread, tomato and etc were barely average. High Note: The employees that were given their best to care for the customers even when they were overwhelmed! HIGH FIVE
I come here very often but tonight didn’t sit right with me. I ordered a head of time so I could just come and pick up my order , my order wasn’t started until I got there and then when it was ready I was asked to provided my number when I posted with apply pay. They didn’t ask anyone else for confirmation or there information…. And if that’s there policy that should be said when placing online orders or around the restaurant
Update: I spoke with the evening manager Vivi and she was very very receptive... I've submitted some concerns to Chick-fil-A and I've emailed her directly and I think everything will be resolved in the Future 🥗 VIVI WROTE ME AGAIN AND OFFERED ME A SCANNABLE CODE BY EMAIL... CHICK-FIL-A CORPORATE GOT IN TOUCH WITH ME REALLY FAST THIS MORNING AND OFFERED ME SOME SCANNABLE CODES AS WELL! I've been a loyal customer with these people on third-party ordering systems like Doordash for the last few months I've even written to their customer service when I couldn't order online/and they thanked me and they suggested that they will come back online for delivery and Prices were high and I put up with it and the prices went down but I couldn't believe what happened to me today I trusted them because their salads were good I would order their salads they're $6 plus taxes and fees they're nearly $8 6.09+taxes and FEES I have been ordering them and I was really satisfied with how they loaded on a lot of tomatoes and onions and cucumber I have attached a picture of what I got/ this must be how they take advantage of the lunch time crowds?! It is unbelievable I got nothing but half a bucket of lettuce a few pieces of shredded cheese and two little cherry tomatoes for $8! What a way to disrespect your loyal customer... :-( I let doordash know what was going on... They tried to offer me just 1.75 in credits and I reiterated that it was almost like the whole item was missing because there was so much missing... I tried to chat with an agent but there was nobody available for over 10 minutes... Though it said 1 minute... I realize that this wasn't just an ingredient missing for Doordash to waive the tax and FEES... Salad would still not be worth $6 it's an outrageous flop It's about 25 to 30 cents in lettuce and maybe 25 or 30 cents in tomatoe🍅 DID NOT INCLUDE ANY SALAD DRESSING EITHER! THE SALAD WAS BASICALLY A THROWAWAY/ IT WOULD BE A WASTE TO EVEN USE THE SALAD DRESSING I HAD FROM BEFOREHAND... It's got multiple ingredients missing SO it's no different than the salad just never came... It's a completely missing item it's a joke! I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THE CHICK-FIL-A COULD MISS THE ONIONS THE RADISH THE EXTRA TOMATOES THE USUAL AMOUNT OF CHEESE IS THE SALAD DRESSING ETC ...🥗.... I don't understand how the salad could be 1/3 the usual volume! Again I think it's because it's lunch time and people in offices don't have time to complain?
I ordered carry out because I expected there be a line since grand opening and I’m glad I did. Once I arrived there I waited 5 minutes until I got my food. Customer service was nice but I had ordered a large fries and I’m surprised at the amount received 😅, caught me off guard but maybe they were too busy? Still for $6-7 dollars, you’d expect maybe your moneys worth, overall okay experience :)!
Fast food places aren't expected to get a high rating for environment. Food was good. I did experience something amazing. One of the workers saw a baby sitting with the parent and this gentleman came out and started singing, playing toy cars and the baby was loving it.
Horrible experience! First they got my order wrong and charged me to fix it.... No problem, you have to pay for what you want, but soon after they brought me the same food with a cold piece of cheese added to it as if it's a new sandwich. Lol. I politely asked if they can make it over again to ensure the cheese melts properly. They took it back, only to bring me the exact same sandwich out 10 min later with the same slice of unrelated cheese and cold meat. 😆 Thanx Chic-Fil-A
H`aving been to different locations throughout the years of living in various places, this is the ONLY location where I've experienced issues with my order. I've done delivery a few times and unfortunately they seem to miss something almost every time — whether it be sauce, fries, etc. Sad to see since the franchise has such a great reputation for consistency and experience. Looking like poor management. Hopefully they get it together.
The food here has no seasoning. I feel like I over paid for something that tastes like it was from a frozen kids meal. The staff was nice. Think in and out for the experience. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Placed an order for carry out. Arrived at the pick up location and there are easily 20 people crowded at the entrance waiting for their orders. We can see lots of orders sitting on the pickup shelves inside, but we can't pick them up because they've blocked off the entrance and we have to wait for the staff to individually hand us our orders. Very inefficient system.
We had a disappointing experience at this Chick-fil-A location during our morning visit. The team member taking our order, Tony H was unprofessional and inattentive. He did not make eye contact or seem to be paying attention when we placed our order. I told him that I would like a Number 1 and a Number 3, and that we would be dining in. Yet after punching in the order, he asked, “You want Number 1 and 2?” I repeated myself, but he didn’t acknowledge the mistake. Later, he asked, “You guys want it to go, right?Again, I had to repeat that we were eating in. After payment, he handed me the receipt without a word, not even a thank you or our pleasure. It felt cold and impersonal, far from the courteous service we’ve come to expect at Chick-fil-A. Additionally, the men’s restroom had an overwhelming bleach/chlorine smell. When I exited, the cleaning lady staff member stared at me in a way that made me feel like I was intruding or a burden, which was very uncomfortable. This location used to be fantastic, but it seems the service quality has taken a serious dip. We were very disappointed with our dine-in experience today.
Your server got my name wrong and that kept me waiting for my food a bit longer , he doesn't even give me the receipt and offered me the sauce either.
I believe this Location establishment could be alot better one the employees there do not speak English only possibly a handful of them Second The person taking the orders, get my order wrong every time and I’ve been to this location several times ordering a breakfast sandwich and they get my order wrong every time which is inconveniencing me for my day on the way to work. It’s like why even go here, but it’s close to where I live my experience with this location establishment is horrendous. This service is terrible and they have never tried to correct the wrong order when doin so it’s still made wrong then have the nerve to get an attitude with me because they keep making the order wrong. I’ve asked for my money back refused to give me my money back, making it an issue as if I’m the problem when that’s not the case. I also feel they’re discriminatory against minorities mainly people of color. I’ve heard from others the same situation so it’s almost like they give you what they want to give you instead of what you ordered. Corporate needs to look into this location Manager supervisor everyone needs to take accountability on how this establishment is presented because Again, it makes me not even want to go to a Chick-fil-A
It's okay for what it is I just don't eat fried food some friends brought me over and got me something to go it's it's great for everybody else I just don't need fried food due to the possibilities of depending on what type of oils they use an interesting place I'd rather go to the colonel
Food is ok. Standard Chick-fil-A. Lots of homeless in the area and a lady got mugged in the parking lot while I was holding my baby…. Stay alert near the main road.
The young lady who took our order was great! Polite and got the order correct, but it went downhill after that. We had a to go order and had to walk around to a few tables before finding one clean enough to sit at to wait. We didn't have a long wait and the food was hot, but when we got home to eat, the we noticed that our fries were rubbery and tasted like they'd been fried in rancid oil. They were hot, but far from good. It was disappointing. The crunch milkshake was tasteless and the caramel pieces in the shake tasted freezer burned. I was charged almost $2 for a gluten free bun that they didn't end up giving me, so I wasn't able to eat my sandwich and wasted money. The only reason I gave two stars was because my wife's sandwich, while poorly assembled, was the only portion of the meal that tasted good.
Every time I have tried to patron this place. I have been disappointed with the lack of time dedicated to making sure your customers receive the meal they order and pay for!! I even on one occasion had the floor manager watch out for my order and it again was missing items! And again tonight missing items!! You guys are costing me money!! Starting to wonder if it's actually being done intentionally so the employees can eat it after they get off! I hope the kids get better training because as of right now chick fil a is stealing our money!! Sincerely Keith
We placed an online order. Told the gentlemen at the pick up area our order number and he refused to give us our order. Then went inside and asked one of the women working there for assistance and she ignored us twice. Finally got a hold of the manager and she finally gave us our order after waiting for 20 minutes. Instead of remedy the situation and giving us a free item or a refund all we got was a sorry. Completely unprofessional of all 3 employees. Never coming back here again because of this poor service.
I have ordered from this locations 4 times and not once has the order been made correctly. Completely wrong order with my name, clearly watering down the iced tea and lemonade. Mac and cheese filled half way, no sauce sent and sending 6 nuggets in an 8 piece order. Go to a different location if you want chick fil a. I have no clue what this is but it’s not up to standard.
not sure what’s been going on with the chicken and buns but the past few times i’ve gotten the sandwich or nuggets there’s been like no breading, super fatty chicken, the buns of the sandwich are like double in thickness and taste weird
Can’t even get a mobile order right. That’s that I gotta drive 25 minutes there and back. This is not the first time they do this. It’s always the same bs don’t pay attention to what they doing and make sure they got everything in the bag. Then when you call all they can do is say we’re sorry will just give you a free one next time. 🤣 pathetic. Waste of my money time and gas. Get better workers that actually wanna work.
Ordered online and waited for my food for about 7-10 min, not a big deal cuz they are busy in there. I got my food and instantly noticed the fries. See I ordered a meal and upgraded from a medium to a large just to receive a small.. I mean I had to ask if they could give me more (should’ve taken a pic before I said something)! When the employee came back I had crumbs, literally all small fries in my box. Not even gonna comment on the rest of my order. Won’t be going back here.
I had a disappointing experience at Chick-fil-A recently. After placing my order, my food never arrived. I waited for an extended period, and when I inquired about the delay, I was offered leftovers from the kitchen instead of a fresh meal. Do not EAT here!!!!! I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident of racial discrimination that occurred at your Chick-fil-A location on July 17, 2024, at approximately 9:45 PM. On the mentioned date and time, I placed an order for food. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I was informed by a staff member that "they don't serve our kind." This statement was both disrespectful and demeaning. I immediately approached the on-site manager to address the situation. However, the manager's response was deeply unsatisfactory. I was told that the only action they could take was to provide a refund and offer leftover food once the restaurant closed. This response left me feeling disappointed, disrespected, and empty-handed. I find this treatment unacceptable and contrary to the values of equality and respect that Chick-fil-A purports to uphold. The statement made by the staff member and the subsequent handling of the situation by the manager are clear instances of racial discrimination and have caused me significant distress.
Worst Chick-fil-A I’ve ever been to. They got my order wrong 3x, greasy fries, chicken had crunches and really chewy fat. The place was so busy and I’ve never experienced Chick-fil-A with such a low atmosphere and service. When I came back to the counter, they took my food and the manager said to not give me the correct nuggets I needed, and that employee never came back with my food. Someone else had to help me.
Rude Customer Service. Cancelled my breakfast order that I had a redeemable reward expiring today. I placed order at 10:23am! Then at arrival, the app alerted me to speak with a representative at the counter. Even though, the breakfast hours ended before my arrival. The employee that came to speak to me cannot replace something similar to my order. This probably worst customer service at this Chick-fil-a in the Bay Area. I lost my appetite after chatting to the employee. So disappointed!

Highly Disappointing Experience at Chick-fil-A Emeryville I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at the Chick-fil-A in Emeryville. To put it simply, this was one of the worst customer service encounters I've ever had. Firstly, they managed to forget my drinks not once, but multiple times. It's mind-boggling that a basic part of any fast-food order could be so consistently overlooked. I had to double back three times just to get what should have been a simple part of my meal. The lack of attention and organization from the staff is completely unacceptable. Moreover, the sheer negligence continued with the lack of sauces for my order. It's astonishing how something as basic as including condiments was completely forgotten. This only added to my growing frustration and highlighted the lack of care and attention to detail in their service. Moving on to the food itself, the salad I ordered was a huge disappointment. Not only was it small in size, but the lettuce used tasted like cheap iceberg lettuce. The lack of quality and effort in their ingredients was evident. For a restaurant that claims to offer premium food, this was a significant letdown. To make matters worse, my 30-piece nugget order was short by four nuggets. It's not only a matter of quantity but also a reflection of the restaurant's lack of consistency and accuracy in fulfilling orders. Additionally, the large waffle fry I received was barely filled, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction and feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. On top of all these issues, the poor packaging of my daughter's fruit cup resulted in me cutting my finger on the sharp edge of the lid. This kind of oversight in packaging safety is inexcusable and raises serious concerns about the overall quality control standards at Chick-fil-A Emeryville. Overall, this experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. The repeated mistakes, lack of attention to detail, subpar food quality, and even safety hazards with packaging make it impossible for me to recommend Chick-fil-A Emeryville. I strongly urge the management to take immediate action to address these issues and improve their customer service if they want to retain any semblance of credibility.
This location is slow. it took 10 mins for one persons order to be taken. there’s 50,000 people behind the register but only one person taking order. I walked in there with 15 mins before my bus came to order fast food, and they took 15 mins just to get the two people they had at the counter and took one of the two people in front of me before i walked out. This is ridiculous. people don’t go to chick-fil-a for restaurant grade wait times. it called fast food for a reason.
The kid in the mobile pickup area at 8:15 pm needs to be retrained. While waiting to pick up my order, I witnessed him almost sending a door dash driver away saying his order was picked up. Then he proceeds to ask people whose orders are barely in the still processing list. When I asked him my order was in the ready to pickup list(which it was), he arbitrarily says it’s not ready. What gives him these conflicting behaviors towards customers? These always amount to bad customer service
I haven’t had Chick-fil-A in about a year or two and I remember the bread being different a lot more savory freshly baked. This one tastes fake very flaky and starchy. It just looks like bread. The chicken breast is thinner less juicy even the french fries don’t even taste like fried french friesDon’t go here.
Worst one I've ever been to. They messed up my order not once, not twice, but three times. By the third time I just left because it wasn't worth another 15 minutes hoping they could get something as simple as a Chicken Deluxe Sandwich correct. Also, their food made me feel nauseous when I did eat it. Very poorly run and managed store. Again, worst one I've ever been to.
1st off. If it isn't a drive-thru Chick-fil-A, I don't understand how difficult it could be to serve food. This is probably the slowest Chick-fil-A and the most disorderganized Chick-fil-A I have gone to. It's run like it's in Oakland. Customer service over the phone wasn't helpful either. If u give me the wrong sandwich I'm not spending my gas to take it back. It's going in the trash...
