Lots of negative reviews on this place, mostly service related. It ain’t French Laundry. Get a cheese slice fresh out of the oven (which is actually 2 slices,) and eat it there. This is a 5 star pizza experience if you care about the pizza not all the other noise.
This pizza was soooo good. Perfect amount of garlic and pepperoni and heavy handed on the cheese. Will definitely order from here again.
Very good! Indian pizza shop. They have a good variety of hand made pizza. The best part is they make a pizza base then bake a pizza. Having limited parking space. However the place is good for any small event celebration.
Amazing!! Great pizzas, awesome space to eat, meet friends, watch tv. Wonderful service! For gluten free pizzas theirs is one of the best! They make the dough themselves and quite good quality/safety. Their vegan vegetarian selection is amazing too with the spicy vegan and vegan herbivore pizzas. Love their “notta ricotta” cheese (home made) Must go! Love this place! Also shout out to Bob, he helped us last time and was really cool.
I came for a beer and a slice of pepperoni after work, and my quick in-and-out was extremely enjoyable. I had my beer and slice in hand within 5 minutes of ordering, and it was a good thinner-crust pizza that I was looking for. I would recommend going here for a quick meal like mine.
This was such a breath of fresh air! As a NY-transplant in the Bay Area, it has been near impossible to find anything resembling NY style pizza. Not to say the other kinds of pizza available aren’t enjoyable, but obviously one has nostalgia for what one is accustomed to. This is by far the closest we’ve come to, and it was quite good! The salad and wings were less impressive, but the pizza was great. Delivery was fast and everything seemed fresh + hot. Anyone who is complaining in the reviews about the thinness of the crust is simply unaware of NY style pizza. We will definitely be back!

The manager and staff at Lane Splitter in Emeryville are so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! Everyone in my family loves the pizza — even my very picky 12-year-old looks forward to it every time. The flavors are amazing and the service is always great. One of our favorite spots!

Every time I have come here the pizza was delicious, hot, and hit the spot. I am moving and will definitely miss this place
I love this place, I order the Cobb salad with substitutes of 1 thing, add-ons of multiple items, and holds of another and it is always perfect. Great customer service. They host live music sometimes and it seems to draw a good little crowd.
The Spicy Vegan & Vegan Herbivore are my favorite vegan pizzas, we eat them often, however the quality has slipped since they started doing togo & not dine in, some of my pizzas have been very skimpy on toppings, and some burnt so much they were basically inedible, these are expensive pizzas too. I hope they will get back to providing the quality I expect from them.
I'm here, it's fine. It's thanksgiving so I can't rate anything really but the pizza. The pizza took about 15-20 minutes and is completely fine in my opinion. I got the 16" chopper and everything about it is up to par with many other places nearby.

Got pepperoni slices. The workers were very nice and even through in an extra slice (it was near closing). The pizza was good but not exactly something to rave about. I’d be back tho.
The pizza was... Okay. It tasted good, and I did get the sense they really tried hard for that rare east coast authenticity - it's almost there, but not quite yet. What killed me was the pricing for their pizza, which starts at $3.50/slice. If the slice I had blew my socks off, I would've accepted the price... But yeah, for "just good/okay" pizza I believe it's pricey. Lastly, though I didn't buy alcohol, their happy hour prices did seem quit reasonable - I imagine this place is packed with bar-goers in the evening.

Was it tasty, yes, if you don't expect much as far as the toppings you selected. Yes, I'm glad I asked for extra cheese; that really made it. But the red sauce was barely passable and the amount of Italian sausage, onion, peppers and black olives were barely noticeable. Also, it's shaped like a Sicilian, but the dough is like a pan pizza, so not a Sicilian dough snd, it was bland and tasteless. My rating is high given the down sides of the pizza.
I got a basic pepperoni Pizza with a side of Buffalo wings. Pizza reminded me of school pizza very cheaply made wings also tasted of being in the freezer would not recommend.
This place has really gone downhill. I assume it was sold since I was here last. There is zero vibe and even though I ordered a salad and pizza to dine in, my salad came in a to go box with a plastic fork and pre packaged dressing! Their home made dressing was always a favorite but this packed stuff just doesn’t compare. Sunday afternoon and there are only 2 other people here. It used to be full of energy and good music. All I can hear is the commercials on the tv.

Wow quality has seriously gone downhill. THIS IS SO DRY & NASTY! The dough makes this “fresh” pizza taste so stale. I’ve had better frozen pizza from the grocery store. Never ordering again boo
So I go in and order a slice of pepperoni which I don’t see anywhere . I assumed they had a pizza cooking which is perfect. But too perfect for this establishment . After ordering my pizza, this homeless guy comes in and ask for me to buy his. After politely declining and I wait for my order . Someone else comes in and decides to buy the guy a slice. At this point they want him out the establishment so they then serve him what looks like a pepperoni pizza that was supposed to be mines . So now I’m waiting longer and they have to create me a new slice which they no longer have pepperoni ready so they re warm up a cheese slice with pepperoni on top and a dash of mozzarella cheese. Which they then drop getting it out the oven. So then she decided to warm up another cheese slice with pep on top. I get home to undercooked pepperoni on an old cheese slice. They do this often but this is one thing I don’t get . To me now the pizza is altered. Too much cheese or a crazy amount of undercooked pepperoni that falls off as soon as you lift the pizza. Great service 👎
My first time going here. WASTED FOOD AND WASTED CALORIES 😒 Pizza is mediocre! Wayyyy better pizza around town. After driving 2 hours this was on my way to my location. They did make it fresh but not good. I order garlic bread and it was thee worst garlic bread. I had one stick and did not like it. The marinara sauces was ice cool to did it in. I ask if I can swap it out for a salad or something they REFUSED! The staff gave a hard time . Place cleanliness was very poor. Bathroom was disgusting. Around the corner that MacArthur pizza is way better is taste, ambiance, and professionalism...

Ordered from Uber Eats last night around 12:30am. Lanesplitter listed as open on app and Google. Driver waited for 30 min at least before letting me know the location is CLOSED THROUGH JANUARY. Had to submit a refund request and then find someone else since no other pizza places are open at 1am in Oakland apparently.
Very disappointing experience. The service was extremely rude and unprofessional. The staff had a very bad attitude and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. In particular, the woman working the counter was dismissive and spoke to customers in a very disrespectful way. Good customer service should be the bare minimum at any restaurant, and unfortunately that was completely lacking here.
This used to be my favorite pizza joint in the Bay Area. I have been a customer for many years. Unfortunately the quality seems to have gone down significantly and after my last experience I will never give them another cent. I ordered a pizza and a salad last night. When I got home, I opened the salad and found that the parmesan cheese was moldy. I threw out the salad and wrote to customer service asking for a refund. I assumed this would be a simple request. The customer service representative informed me the restaurant was requesting a PICTURE of the mold “as proof.” As though I would lie to get a $7 salad comped!? I had to dig through my compost to find a piece of moldy cheese to photograph for them - disgusting AND insulting as all hell. Only to be told they would get back to me tomorrow when the owner was around. This was an obscene request and an insane way to run a business. Looking through the reviews I see my experience isn’t all that uncommon under current management so they clearly don’t care. Good luck
I've only been here twice, my order was wrong both times. Last time, they denied the order was wrong, even though I provided pictures to Slice, their required ordering app. Food is mediocre at best and is overpriced for the quality. The salad was just all cabbage and carrots. Dressing / dipping sauce is way too small for the bread sticks, if you even get what you ordered.

I have been going to lane splitter since it opened in Berkeley 25 years ago. It used to be amazing. but recently something has happened to the quality. it is now no better than the crappiest of the cheap pizza in California. You can really tell the quality of a pizza by the dough and the stuff they are making now is worse then the cheapest pizza parlors in the business. Business owners should have closed it but apparently they want to keep making money off the name even though they no longer live here, I guess a makes sense to run their reputation into the ground to squeeze out a few extra bucks off our nostalgia.
