Stopped in there on a Saturday night after a wedding. Awesome service by a guy that looked like Iggy Pop. Interior was cool.

I'm always looking for places that don't have a TV on as the standard. Thank you for letting me enjoy a refreshing libation in peace! Quiet, calm atmosphere at 6pm. I asked for something interesting from the bartender and he said if I didn't like it he'd make me something else. Wow! I normally don't get that kind of treatment. Loved the Iron Man pinball machine and the name sake of the bar (Rufus the wolfhound) strutting his stuff. Whenever I'm in the area I'll be back.

Neighborhood bar with a cast of local characters. Great lighting, nice decor, jukebox, pinball & I believe a pool table as well. Modest prices for draft beer & I think cans might have been even more reasonable. Look for Chris behind the bar - he will make sure you never go thirsty plus has an ability to keep a conversation intriguing.

You can talk to anyone and feel safe. If you smoke, please step away from the bar entrance and keep it down so we don't disturb Neighbors. It's a neighborhood bar. If you come here, Be cool, relax, be yourself.

Comfortable, quiet, surprisingly spacious. Good house cocktails with nothing fussy or fiddly. Great taps. Quick, welcoming, and concise service. Excellent Wednesday trivia. Nothing more than it needs to be, nothing less than you would hope it to be. Highly recommended.

Great little dive bar. Main portion is shotgun style (thin and long) but they got the back half of an adjoining store front for 2 booths and a decent pool table. They have a rotating selection of interesting cocktails and an impressive array of spirits particularly for a tiny front on San Pablo. Haven't met a bartender I haven't liked either.

Recently added pool room with arcade games and concert posters hand picked by one of the owners who apparently plays in a band. Tuesday night features one of the most entertaining pub quizzes in the bay area. More than once I have turned to person next to me and gotten involved in a conversation with a talented jewelry designer, ceramicist, painter, grad student. Even met an editor of a popular ezine. Almost always a fun and funny time!

Considering the spot this location is at this is a nice spot but the only complaint was the music I played some music on the jukebox Ami it never came on because they took over the music section so I end up losing three credits but still the overall good experience Jenny wonderful bartender that night

Homey dive bar with a welcoming vibe. Bar service is a bit slow if crowded but drinks are generous. Easy to find parking. Cool photos on the wood paneled walls.

Dark and cozy. Not too loud or crowded. Fast service. Good place to go if you want to be able to talk.

Great neighborhood cozy bar. It looks like a dive bar upon entry, but its lovely. The staff are friendly and attentive and chill. They have a game room with pool and pinball, and lots of comfortable seats and a few U-shaped leather couches and tables. Its never crazy crowded, and you'll almost always meet someone interesting. No food, but they're cool with you bringing your own or ordering delivery.

This place is a dump just like the town and its locals. The bartender couldn't even get my 2nd drink right and it was the same as the first. I will NOT be back or recommend this place or this town to anyone.

Personally know the guy who bartends there on weekends after 7pm, absolutely amazing. However I did experience ageism and discrimination a few times visiting. To be fair it's pretty obvious certain people aren't welcomed given the location.

Today I think i come so many times in Emeryville but I never explore let do it tonight for a little bit I am happily go this place to see little bit around but the bartender spoil everything I don’t know what he is thinking I don’t know I am sorry I don’t wanna tell a lot but it’s not good

Bartender dude with glasses chased me into the corner booth we were sitting at, to tell me I had to tip him, something about " doesn't get paid enough to be there " stood there waiting for me to pull a 1 dollar bill. Genuinely ruined my image of this bar, shame it was so close to home.
