Giant Burrito

Situated in the middle of Oakland without anything exceptional but THE FOOD. They have the best burgers I've ever had (and I'm close to the definition of carnivore) the owner is friendly, simple, and really cares about the quality of the food he serves. The only real limit is the location and the fact that there's only one person handling everything by himself with almost no help at all making this place less popular than it should be. (Advice: only go after 4pm when the actual owner is the one serving!)

This place is so delicious! Their fries al pastor were so good. They only took a few minutes to make fresh. The man working was very nice and got our order to us fast. The place followed all new mask policies so I felt safe getting my food here.

It was my first time visiting your Restaurant and I was very satisfied with the service that your staves provided. I ordered them my favorite burrito and they were professional and very friendly. A wonderful service will highly be recommended! Until next time!

The food was good, they were only accepting cash at the time even though it's had on the window they accepted debit and major credit cards. Employee was kinda rude to a different customer.

So I went to go visit this place. It's new but I drive by it kind of often so I wondered about this and what I will say it was an older gentleman probably and his like 70s working he was very nice he spoke with broken English so I used some of my Spanish skills to order. The issues that I have is that the menu prices are not the same price that they try to charge you like it says on their menu that a regular Taco would just take cilantro onions and salsa is $299 but when I ordered it he charged me $350. So this whole menu how to adjust the prices the other thing is heating have the correct amount so my total for my tacos only should have been 10:50 and he was trying to charge me $14. Which is a mistake that's fine they don't take debit card sidewalk all the way down the street to a local store to get cash back. But I believe that's because the prices that they have on the menu are not the prices that I actually got charged and then I had to walk back and pay another ATM fee again because I didn't have the correct amount I end up paying $38 to get three steak tacos one hamburger meal and one burrito which just comes with meat beans and cheese. Also the meat was salty like overly seasoned it would have been better which it was making me worried about maybe they were putting that much salt because the meat was old and sometimes restaurants do that to kind of cover up the old days. Regardless the old guy was nice but for the prices and all the work I had to do I don't think I'll be back. But I will say that they red salsa is nice and spicy and flavorful

Food is decent, prices are higher than the quality you get. Customer service has been very bad most times I go. Instead spend your money at the taco truck just 1 block away (you can see it from the front of Giant Burrito)

The food is good. Prices are good. But the customer service is horrendous. The owner has been rude to me every time I’ve visited this establishment (four). I chalked it up to his being old and cranky. His temper is quick if you ask about your order total (I’ve been overcharged) or if he forgets something in your order ( has happened twice, seems intentional.) I just went 10 min ago to order the nacho supreme... and waited...and waited. He walked up to the window, on the phone...and never acknowledged my presence. It was 5:30-they close at 10:00pm, so it wasn’t near closing time. He looked at me- no “one moment please” or” sorry for the wait” just, turned his back and kept talking. After five minutes of waiting for him to take my order I left. The amount of disrespect he has shown a paying customer is beyond me. I kept returning to support small business but this is beyond ridiculous and disrespectful.

Only got 1 star because I have to give 1. The man was very rude. I told him no cheese on my sons burger he made it how he's used 2 making them with cheese. We went and took it back for him to make 1 w/o cheese he snatched the food back and threw me my money back. Mind you we went a couple months ago for steak fries and he put cheese on the fries he made a big deal but he made them over. He doesn't listen 2 your order he just makes it how he's used to or how he wants to. It's the closet food place to eat when my son gets out of school buy we will not patronize his restaurant ever again based off his attitude,my son drinks alot of water he doesn't even offer water with or without purchase of a meal

That means he charged me a tax rate of 28% tax! Oakland tax rate is 10.5% at time of this review. Where did that extra 18% come from ? Oh yeah he just made it up on the spot. Disingenuous marketing and poor food quality. Oh also portions are not Giant despite the name. Their normal size. My fountain drink was anything but giant. In fact it was a puny water cup standing at 3". Burger was bland and fries were dull tasting. I can't help but feel cheated from this place.
