Tiny little tucked away Italian place in Endwell. Quality food all around. The bread is some of my favorite in the area. The sauce is on point. The calamari is also among my favorite in the area. The bacon wrapped scallops made for a nice special dish. I had the manicotti for dinner tonight, and it didn't make it to the pictures because it looked and smelled so good. A couple minor downsides are this place has limited seating and can get a bit cramped. Parking is on a hill so you'll wanna drop off anyone with ambulatory issues. Lastly, there is always some old guy smoking out front. I'm assuming he is the owner or something. The smell of the cigarettes tend to make it into the resteraunt and puts a sour note on the meal for me.
Nice Italian restaurant love the sausage they put on their pizza it's thin sliced instead of crumbles. They also have the best Alfredo in the area. Nice and rich and thick and creamy.
This has, over the course of three visits, become one of our family's favorites. Their food is extraordinary, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. This isn't a large hall; it's a relatively small and quaint setting with a handful of tables. It's almost like someone's living room (though it's a professional restaurant setting, of course). The staff are always incredibly friendly, and the meals are to die for. The rigatoni Bolognese is out of this world!
We were new to the area and our realtor recommended this restaurant. The food was amazing! It’s all made from scratch. The servers were so kind and attentive. Great place to bring the family. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in the area.
This place does not disappoint! We went on a Thursday evening and we were the only people in the restaurant. It isn't too big inside; there's maybe 10 tables. But it's nicely decorated, the staff are super friendly, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out. The veal parmigiana was amazing. And the sauce they use is soo good. It was our first visit but we will for sure be going back.
Dell'Arco was very nice. The atmosphere was very cozy. The food was excellent. I had veal parm and the portions were very big. The bread was fantastic it was soft and tasted great. I also had calamari for an appetizer, and I think it was the best I've had in the area so far! The drinks were good. I had an old-fashioned and my girlfriend had wine. The waitress was great and very accommodating! If you are looking for good Italian food, this would be a great choice. It does have a smaller dining area, so I would suggest getting there early as it does seem to fill up quickly!
I so enjoyed my dinner. The service and food were great and enjoyed my time there. When I got the bill and was told that using my credit card was going to cost me 4%, it appalled me. I’m aware by experience that that high of a charge on top of the bill was over the top. There are better options. If the management really thinks that’s realistic, they are absolutely wrong. First of all, it’s a cost of doing business which factors into running a business and should not be factored visibly into the check presented to the guest. Secondly, there are a lot of companies that charge less so shame on management for not shopping around for a better deal. Third: I’ve always thought that passing that on is an insult. We as your customers should not be responsible for your costs of doing business and listed on the check. All being said, I would probably return but hope that the business would reconsider the credit card charge. I will be prepared should you continue the same practice and decide to return.
It was a small Italian restaurant we stopped by on the way back from Watkins Glen. The atmosphere was lovely, the server was friendly, and most of all, the food was delicious. If you’re traveling through Upstate New York, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal if you get the chance.
We ordered two calzones for takeout from here! Both were ordered with double pepperoni and I think that there might have been 6 pieces in each unfortunately. The flavor was good and the crust(dough) was cooked perfectly. The sauce on the side was a good temperature and paired well with the calzone. These would have been much better with actual double pepperoni. When I called they said 30 minutes which ended up being 45, not a big deal as I’ve been told that they are typically on the slower side. Staff were decent but maybe they didn’t want to be there that day. If order again in hopes of getting the right amount of what we ask and pay for! Restaurant was clean and parking is adequate. The environment is a pretty standard local Italian food restaurant.
They started us with warm bread and a oil vinegar dip that was good. We both got salads and they were fresh and dressings were tasty. I got the Veal Marsala with a side of meatballs. Veal Marsala was very good. Meatballs came out cold. Waitress took back meatballs and came back 5 minutes later with fresh hot meatballs and they were good. My wife had the lasagna. She said it was one of the better lasagna she has had from a restaurant. Place was clean. Hostess/waitress was overwhelmed with the amount of customers but worked through it.
Arriving at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, we were 1 of 2 tables in the small upstairs seating area. We ordered the tiger shrimp and bacon appetizer. It was seasoned nicely and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The soup of the day was also tasty acoording to my husband. He ordered the lamb chop special which he was pleased with seasoning and temperature. I got eggplant parm with linguini and meatballs. The side salad that came with it was fresh and had a homemade flavor creamy italian dressing. The red sauce was just right. Not too sweet, not too acidic. The meatballs were seasoned well. We were served by 4 different ladies. All were friendly the last three being more efficient than our greeter/hostess/server, who just seemed somewhat awkward and unprepared. All in all a good experience and we would return.
Our first experience at this new local establishment was great! The food and bread was all very flavorful and delicious. Small issue to make it 5 star: you should be able to substitute a cup of soup in place of a salad. Not all of us are healthy eaters LOL. You can substitute for a bowl of soup but there is an up charge that is larger then most local establishments. My wife and I also felt the flatware could have been a little bit better but that’s pretty minor. Edit: Arancini was super delicious and very reasonably priced. So that’s another win!
Ordered delivery through door dash because we wanted to have a family movie night in. We typically don't have an issue ordering in BUT when my 5 year old daughter who LOVES all noodles wouldn't eat what was supposed to be fettuccine Alfredo because it was "just butter" and maybe a little Parm on there you can tell they didn't care. I am sure because it was take out. Her fettuccine noodles had huge chunks that were stuck together and it literally looked like butter and noodles. No sauce at all. (Don't tell me that it broke or whatever on the way here because that's BS and we don't live that far.)Super sad about it because we have never had an issue like this before. Will not be ordering from there again.
Upon arrival on a Friday evening @6:30 we were told that it was a ten minute wait. No problem. But he could have said to check out the bar (around the corner out of sight}. We spent a few minutes reviewing the menus posted on the wall in the hallway when I wandered into the dining area and discovered the bar empty! Okay, we ordered drinks that were made and served quickly by a friendly tender. Good start! Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. We were seated in a good amount of time as promised in a nice booth in the corner. The waitress was prompt and friendly. She was knowledgeable and answered the wife's gluton free questions with confidence. We had already settled on what we wanted so the appetizer special was ordered and she ordered the chicken salitimbocca and I the stuffed sole. I thought it odd that the salads were served before the appetizer, but ok, no big deal as long as it arrived before and not after the entrees. After waiting what seemed like a very long time, and at a time when our waitress was checking with us (she was very attentive and apologetic) I asked if they had to kill the chicken for the wife's meal or catch the fish for mine? She apologized profusely and promised the appetizer was forthcoming. We overheard that the threesome in the booth next to us had two of the three served but that the thirds meal "was coming soon." When it was finally delivered they asked for a discount which was denied. During all of this (two hours start to finish) we observed MANY call out orders coming out of the kitchen to the bar for pick up. Our appetizer finally arrived, was hot and was very tasty. No complaint about the food or flavor. But again, another VERY long wait, and more apologies from our waitress. I actually felt bad for her! She was covered in flour from helping out in the kitchen evidently. She delivered the entrees eventually, and again, the food was well prepared, hot and flavorful. I did ask that my drink be "on the house" as compensation for waiting so long for our meal to which she responded that she had already gotten that approval. Would she have offered if I hadn't asked? I still left her a nice tip because she worked for it. Unfortunately, I think that management gives priority to call out orders instead of those of us who took the time to drive over and stop in. For that reason we will NOT be back. Pricing was fair and reasonable, our waitress was awesome (Asst Mgr Mara) but they really need to get their kitchen in order.
We came here for dinner around 6:30 PM. The place wasn't too busy, but we noticed that they are preparing a lot of take-out orders. It's a very small place with maybe 20 tables. We ordered wine, and that came within about 5 minutes. We also ordered an appetizer, thank goodness, because we had to wait an hour and a half for our dinner. The food was very good, but we waited too long. It seemed that they cared more about the take outs rather than the people inside that are waiting for food. I wouldn't come here again.
Decided to give it another go and I'm sorry I did. Ordered a couple pizza's today. They definitely need some help in the Pizza department. Pizza's were way over cooked and I've tried in the past for some kind of compensation with nothing but an argument. So when I say to avoid this place just do it for sure when it comes to Pizza. I've never been impressed over the 3 times I've ordered from here. The mushroom ravioli with alfredo sauce was good.
