First time ever going to a Bar Louie and it did not disappoint!!! My husband, family, and I stayed in Evansville for the weekend for a family funeral at a hotel nearby this Bar Louie and after a long day spent at the funeral, getting checked into our room, and out of our funeral clothes, the family was tired, but also starving! So we decided to give Bar Louie a try and it was phenomenal! The family and I are big food critics so it takes great quality food and service to impress us. We know a good restaurant when we try a new place. And this was definitely a great restaurant! I gave four stars for service because our waiter did go MIA on us after serving our food and us waiting for the check and to-go boxes but we understand that waiters need to take a break too, so we were not upset. We will definitely return, likely at a Bar Louis that is closer to our home to see if the Bar Louie location near our home is as great as the Evansville location. Lastly, the sports games on multiple televisions were also a huge bonus and appreciation to this sports loving family!

Found this great place while traveling in Indiana. Great atmosphere indoors and outside with music and tv screens. The truffle crunch burger was absolutely amazing with American and provolone cheese, roasted mushrooms, house potato chips, and truffle aioli. Truly one of the best burgers I've ever had. The Louie's Cheesesteak sandwich and tater tots were also really good. And, this location has a Tuesday deal where burgers are only $5!! My server, Crayton, has a great personality and was very friendly and prompt. RUN to this location, especially on Tuesdays!

We were at Bar Louie for Burger Day. Can’t beat the price. Pick a half pound burger and fries or tater tots for $5! A friend had told us about the great deal for Tuesday’s. I think it’s called Burger Night but we were here just after lunch. I got mushroom Swiss and hubby got the Bar Louie cheeseburger and both were great! It was cooked a little more than I liked but still tasty. I appreciated the toasted bun, I just love those and think they make a burger extra special. This was our first visit and their menu looked delicious so we’ll be back. I believe it was Coke products. Those could be improved upon but not every place has a perfectly mixed fountain drink. Bathroom was clean. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told to sit wherever we wanted. Our server Nicole was friendly and personable.

Went here for Burger Week. $7 burger except we got it for $5 because it was a Tuesday! Wow, fantastic deal! The burgers were exceptional as was the tots that came with it. Enjoyed ourselves very much. The appetizers are expensive though. $15 for chicken nachos

This was definitely a cool place in Evansville to hang out. They had excellent food, great drinks, and an excellent atmosphere. I liked the flatbread pizza and the draft beers. I went for lunch, and it seemed like it was even busier for dinner and later. I would definitely hit this place up again when I am in Evansville.

Honeslty, Bar Louie is a favorite spot for me. The food is usually brought to me swiftly, and made well. I've tried many things in the menu, all very delicious. The loaded tots even had FRESH sliced jalapenos on them, not the ones soaked in juice you get out of a jar. The service is always pretty good. Sometimes you have to wait to be seated or tended to, but mostly because there is not many people working. Understandable. The atmosphere is fairly quiet , clean, and open which I personally enjoy. They have 2 separate patios. Great for relaxing outside while enjoying my time there.

To be fair, we were at a professional dinner but it was reserved in advance and I feel should have better planned for, especially considering the quality versus price. I got salmon, which was cooked to the texture of jerky, the sides were luke warm, and my wifes wing basket was kinda sad. Very nice staff but, again, seemes perhaps overwhelmed.

We thought we'd try Bar Louie for lunch as we have never been there before. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to return. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the wife ordered a chicken sandwich. My burger was undercooked. It was pink inside and barely warm. The meat had no flavor, but did have grizzle. Yuk! My french fries were very fresh, hot and crisp. The chicken sandwich was just ok, according to my wife. Service was very good and the atmosphere was that of a spacious, modern and clean sports bar. We were disappointed with the food, but otherwise our experience was very good. Prices were competitive but I'd gladly pay more for better tasting and appearing food.

The waitress steals money! Someone in my party was shorted $2.60 in change, and the waitress did it on purpose! She knew she did it. How many people is she stealing money from on a daily basis? Unfortunately, I don't remember her name or have a photo of her to share, but honestly? I'm sure the manager/owner already know and they let it happen. She was a dark haired white girl around 30 years old. They also told us a 20 minute wait, and that 20 minutes turned into an hour! If we knew it'd be an hour wait, we would have ate somewhere else. They had at any given time at least FIVE empty tables and they just slapped a "reserved" sign on the table. While I think it's silly for such a mediocre establishment to take reservations in the first place, that's besides the point. Why are tables being reserved for 30 or 45 minutes when the people are late for their reservations? We could have *easily* got seated, ordered our food, ate it, and left before they even came. Lots of customers left because of the long wait (they finally started telling people an hour). Is it worth? It makes me sure as hell not want to come back. I attached photos so you can see all the empty tables. It was really quite ridiculous. The restaurant is also super crowded with no waiting room so people just standing around everywhere. And to top it all off, the bacon was undercooked and nasty. I attached a photo to see the uncooked yucky bacon. Also, the burger was supposed to be half a pound but it looked super tiny (as you can see in the picture) and the bun was super tiny. REALLY skimping out on the burgers. 1/10, would not come back here again, at all. Stay away! ESPECIALLY if you don't have a reservation.
