This is the best Chinese cuisine in Evansville, Indiana. The food here is delicious. The service is outstanding. You will order from the menu here ensuring food that is cooked fresh. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. This location is really easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of free parking in their large lot. Wiil definitely will return here again.

Great experience! We just moved back to the tri-state area and read the great reviews for the Ma T and decided to give it a try... very glad we did. The two of us ordered the Royal Queen Dinner set, included soup, salad, pork egg roll, two entrees/rice (white or fried), and a strawberry cheesecake mousse for what we thought was a reasonable price. We ordered one each of the egg drop soup and hot and sour soup, both were very good. The egg roll was full of meat and veggies (not all veggies like some cheaper ones). We chose General Tso's Chicken and Spicy Garlic Pork, both were top quality, freshly made and well seasoned. We left too full (my only complaint....lol). Had the pleasure of talking to the owner/boss of the restaurant and she mentioned that they're a family business that has been serving the area for 17 years and that they have a lot of regular customers. I can see why, everything in the place was clean, and had a sense of pride about it. If you like good quality, freshly made chinese food, you won't go wrong here!

2021 First visit to MA 888 China Bistro. The other Google reviewers were correct. Awesome food. More flavorful than many others. Presentation on plate wonderful. Atmosphere quiet and peaceful with appropriate music. We'll be back again. One fortune 🥠 cookie had fortune, the other was empty 🤷‍♂️. I assume that means that my life is perfect and things will not get better or worse. 😃 2022 update: Food still fantastic. 😋 We WILL come again.

Great atmosphere, traditional Chinese music and delicious food. We went there and order the Royal king. It came with soup and salad,main entry and dessert. For $19 per person. This was a lot of food. We took the main dish home, we enjoyed the salad and soup there. If you go here make sure you skip a meal. 😆 Also they had a cocktail 🍸 special for 6$.🥂

I went into this restaurant with pretty good expectations (due to positive reviews). And boi could they have been any more right. Everything about this place was amazing. ✅ Service- Our server was great and very kind and helpful. ✅ Atmosphere- the booths were very comfortable and provided good privacy. ✅ Food- extremely tasty, nothing was less than perfect, servings were very large and decadent. We brought home a whole nother meal for the next day. ✅ All around experience- Excellent, no issues from me. Highly recommend this place for good Chinese food, the best in Evansville.

My friend Ashley and I went yesterday or a late lunch and, it was the first time that either of us had ever been there. It is a large fancy-looking restaurant but, it was mostly empty. There was only two other tables occupied in the whole place, along with us. Our hostess/server was a beautiful Asian woman who looked like she could be a secret agent/spy/assassin. Not that there's anything wrong with that. She was very friendly and helpful when it came to the menu. We both decided on the Royal Queen meal. For $15 per person (two people minimum) you got pork spring rolls for an appetizer, your choice of egg drop soup or hot and sour soup, and your choice of one entree per person: Eight Treasure Delight (an all-vegetable meal), Emerald Jade Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Shrimp with Vegetables, Spicy Garlic Pork or, Sweet & Sour Chicken. The meal also came with a dessert: Strawberry Cream Delight. My friend Ashley ordered the hot and sour soup and the spicy garlic pork and, got a house salad, as well. I ordered the egg drop soup and the sweet & sour chicken. We also ordered a plate of crab rangoon (4 pieces for $5.00). The egg drop soup was the absolute best egg drop soup I have ever had! The crab rangoon was the absolute best crab Rangoon I have ever had! The sweet & sour chicken and fried rice was really, really good! I loved it! And the strawberry cream delight was a creamy, delicious dessert! For such a fancy-looking place, the food there is surprisingly affordable. We will definitely go back again, sometime. I Do highly recommend Ma t 888 China Bistro.

My wife and I went to Chian Bistro for the second time today and it was just as good as the first time we had it. We had a spicy crab roll for starters. Then we had the lunch specials of spicy garlic chicken and general tso. Great taste and great service.

Impressive flavor and food variety. Known as the best Chinese restaurant in Evansville.

Another great meal tonight. China Bistro is probably our favorite Chinese restaurant in town. I had the Double Sea - Shrimp and scallops with vegetables and bean curd. It was beautiful and beautifully plated. And it was also delicious. The seafood was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were stir-fry crisp. The brown sauce was flavorful but light enough to let the seafood shine. The only “miss” on it, for me, was the bean curd. It was way too soft and didn’t seem to have been cooked in the sauce since it didn’t absorb any flavor. So it ended up just being a sort of weird bland custard that didn’t add anything to the dish. Anthony had the Mongolian pork. It was also delicious. It had a great smoky, charred flavor. The pork was tender and the sauce was pleasantly tangy, slightly sweet, and a nice tingle of heat. One of the reasons we like the Bistro is that the staff is amazing. So friendly and always ready to offer suggestions or chat, but aren’t annoyingly intrusive. Wait time between ordering and getting food is quite short, but the food definitely doesn’t seem rushed. The atmosphere is slightly upscale - not super ornate, but pleasant and comfortable. We noticed tonight that there was no music (or if there was it was very low), but we hadn’t missed it. And so many restaurants play music too loudly, so it was nice to not have to shout over music.

This restaurant came highly rated but it was not good other than their egg drop soup. The chicken dishes we ordered were almost entirely small nuggets of mostly breading swimming under tons of unnecessary sauce, the fried rice was so mushy and wet, I didn’t care for the wonton soup that tased slightly sweet. The lo mein was super salty. I wanted to love it but I don’t think I’ll ever come back.

Staff were friendly, clean restaurant, and quick service. The food was on the expensive side, and tasted okay. The sauces didn’t have much flavor. The spring rolls and crab rangoons tasted good, but the sweet and sour sauce tasted like bbq sauce.

We did not get what we ordered and paid for stuff that wasn't ours. I won't come back. The Kung Pao Chicken was watery, flavorless, and 80% bell peppers. The peanuts were not there either, one of my favorite parts of the dish. We ordered a dessert, but got crab rangoon and general tso in the bag. Sadly, this wasn't discovered until getting home and they were too far away to make a second trip.
