We have dined for years at the Evansville location of red lobster. Today we had the pleasure of being served by Ginger. Ginger was most accommodating with kind attentive service! The food was excellent as usual. The Evansville location should be noted for its consistency in excellence. We will be sure to return!

It cost a lot. $77 for a lobster 🦞 . My son wanted to try it, so we did, and he never wants to try it again. The food was okay..not really the robust flavor I was hoping for. The bread was good. The salmon was okay but not amazing. Steamed broccoli could have used some more flavor.

Update: tried the new seafood boil. It was very good and I received excellent service from my waiter Adam. Sat at the bar. The bartender was surly and didn't take good care of me. Caeser salad was a mess. Too many croutons & hard pieces of lettuce. Cheddar biscuits weren't warm. I only got 2 biscuits with no refill. Didn't get a lemon or wet wipe with my lobster tail. Also ordered the all-u-can eat shrimp and due to the timing of the serving, was only able to order and eat the initial 2 servings. No lemon with the fried shrimp either. Very disappointing visit considering I spent over $70.

Wes was awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I drew a total blank on what I wanted to order, and he knew exactly what it was by me explaining the plate and what was in it. Kept our drinks filled and was pleasant to chat with.

I will not be going back because they only have a popcorn shrimp meal until 3:00pm each day and if you want it at night it’s only served as a small portion appetizer with no side for $12.99. I really don’t understand why you can have it for lunch but not for dinner. The popcorn shrimp dinner was the only reason why my family would eat at Red Lobster.

Waitress was friendly and efficient. There is a lot of different seating options here and that was nice to see. I would recommend calling ahead/make a reservation because it does get really busy--even when it was staffed pretty well.

Wow, what a change from the past experiences I have had at Red Lobster. We don't get there much, but just on special occasions. I had the Admirals Feast I think, and the wife did a Create Your Own. She did not get one of her selections, but she said it was fine. The Calimari appetizer was really good, as well as the salad and Cheddar Biscuits. If we would have stopped there, it would have been a pleasant visit for sure. We saw all the wait staff, except ours, as she seemed to be hiding in the Witness Protection Program. I ran out of my drink at least 3 times, and she was nowhere to be found. The other tables got good service from what we could see, at least the wait staff was attentive from what we could see. Our waitress was nice, but not seen much, and when she asked what we needed, and disappeared to get it, she would come back later, but without what she went to get, which in most cases is my drink and more biscuits. Wife brought about half of her meal home, and again, she went to get the take out box, and came back with the bill, but, no take out box. The food was good, however, there must be a Mr. Magoo Chef in the kitchen. I am about 90% Legally Blind in one eye, and not the best vision in the other, as both eyes have cataracts , however, I can still see taters with Black Rotten Spots! Yes, 2 rotten spots on my tater, but I only took a pic of one. It was not that busy to not look at what you are serving your guests! My wife had solid black rotten taters at another local restaurant that made her since, and I wish I had snapped a pic, as that is just totally uncalled for, and we never went back to that place. I know Red Lobster filled for bankruptcy protection, so does that give them the license to serve sub standard, poor quality food now? We I go back? Will see. There are plenty of good quality seafood restaurants in town that have always treated us really well, with quality food.

Our day before Thanksgiving Day dinner, dinner with our daughters & sons-in-law. I recommend purchasing a $100 gift card for $75 at a Sam's Club or Costco. (Make sure it hasn't been tampered with, first.) I also recommend the Seafood Boil for 4 for $99.99 vs. The $59.99 for 1 single person. See my pictures as evidence.

My husband and I have always liked Red Lobster, the food and service always been way above par, but our experience last night was a disappointment, the waitress was nice, but not very attentive, and I know with the way the economy is people are not eating out as much, the restaurant was half empty . We were going to order the Lobster dinners until we saw the huge jump in price. My husband ordered the Admirals Feast and I really like a good Lobster Bisque, so I decided to try their version, huge disappointment, not sure what that soup was, but definitely not Lobster Bisque, no flavor at all, no seasoning, definitely no lobster, it looked and tasted like something you would get out of a Campbell's soup can, I sent it back, was not asked if I would like something else instead. I also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops as an entree, they were good, they had a good flavor, they could have been cooked a minute or two more. My husband was happy with his meal, though he said the flounder was paper thin. Our waitress was pretty scarce, did not check on us much. We usually have a great experience, maybe it was just an off night, but the the price increases we were expecting a better evening.

Atmosphere there just wasnt what it used to be. Fried fish was very bland. My wife did not care for the chicken she had at all. The menu is very small, not much selection, you cant even get the lunch items they have during the week. I dont care for this premium side crap places are starting to do. You cant even get a side salad with your order, like we have done for 20 years without paying $2 more for an already expensive lunch. $52 for lunch that was just soso...no alcohol and no drinks, that was just the food. On the plus side, the food was hot, just cooked. The biscuits were great, and our waitress was very nice and efficient, she did a good job. Greatly dissappointed overall. Thanks for listening.

To be fair I could not rate the food. We have been to this restaurant one time before and it was a disaster. I did not leave a review then because I thought they may have been having a bad day. We were passing through Evansville and decided to give it a second chance. We should have left when we walked in and no one acknowledged us for minutes, (no one else was in line) Finally, seated and never acknowledged again. We have never walked out of a restaurant before but after 10 ish minutes and no acknowledgment we left. We are not picky people but this was very frustrating.
