I had not been to Wayback in maybe 10 years. Its not on my main route so I dont think of them as much. I will have to change that. I wanted a really good burger and fries. I got a great burger and fries. My classic burger was juicy and yummy. My fries were hot and crispy just like I like them. Isaac was so helpful and his service was great. My whole experience was above what I expected. Fresh hot food. Will be back again soon! Price as just right! Thank you Phil for making this experience just as good as my last one. Great team at this location. Recommend everyone try them. Consistency is everything!

So I just wanted to say that I can’t remember the day I was in there for breakfast but it was about week in a half ago and I have to say the two young ladies working that morning were so amazing she even asks me if it was too much butter and of course I said absolutely not it was perfect but the service was super amazing and I tell everyone I know stop eating at McDonald’s and all the other ones you guys make the best breakfast out there for fast food. The two ladies will hopefully remember me just by the butter statement but they need to be recognized for sure I just got out of two surgery’s yesterday and I will definitely be back because they both made my day especially after finding out I have late stage liver disease along with my hernia surgery I had yesterday as well. Again thank you to those two ladies who were amazing.

I had never been here before, so I started using the kiosk because I didn’t see the register, an employee came around and said he could ring me up and I didn’t have to use that if I didn’t want to. THANK YOU FOR THAT because not everyone wants to wait on themselves. Food was made fresh, wait was not long, but in that time I did notice a few things. Great customer service. Overall clean facility, but napkin dust is all over the napkin dispenser at the condiment stand. Manager came out to lobby and gave everyone a coupon and asked for a 5 star review, very friendly. The cashier in that time, came to condiment stand and took a salt packet to season the burgers cooking, then used ungloved hands to butter and place a bun on the grill. Food was great! I am a long time manager in this industry and you have a lot of great things going for you at this location!

Way Back is Way Kool!! Isaac is always happy to see customers come in, and service with a smile is just standard practice with him. I feel like Isaiah is a True Gem when it comes to being the face that the customers see when they enter. We are always greeted on our way in as well. The people are friendly, food is Awesome, so what is there not to like about all that?? We'll, perhaps the manager could do the front counter painting at another time... 5 Stars for Isaiah and the Double with Fries! it's all super hot and fresh and a lot of people get there at lunch time, so come early to be the rush...

At the cross point location! In from KC and this is THE best burger and shake I’ve ever had! The buttery bun is out of this world! Thanks for the great lunch! The staff at this location we kind, helpful, and just wonderful.

I recently dined at wayback Burger and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the Chicken bacon, ranch fries and it was a flavor explosion—perfectly cooked, rich, and balanced with fresh ingredients. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail was spot-on

Very sweet staff! They took our trays when we were done and offered us coupons for our next visit. The food wasn’t too oily and filled you up in a comfortable way. Area was clean and actively being swept. Would go again!

We just had the best burger we have had anywhere for a long time. The guys working here were keeping everything super clean. They were both very nice and professional. The food here is just great and is brought out to your table very quickly. I wish I could give more than five stars. Super impressed with the value and quality of the food but especially kudos to the staff tonight you were on point. The restaurant is easy to find using Google Maps just off of I 69 in Evansville, Indiana.

Decent burger place! You can build your own or choose from the specials. Also have chicken sandwiches/ tenders / and hot dogs. Milk shakes are delicious and the chili shreds fries are good. Food was made to order and came fast.

First time eating here, after a friend suggested it. It was lunchtime and not busy so we were concerned that was a bad sign but the service was fast and friendly. The food came out pretty quick and was HOT and fresh. The cheese curds were pretty good, onions rings were ok but the steakhouse burger (with A1) and chicken BLT were both GREAT! They were out of lemonade and didn't have anymore in the back which was a bummer but we made due. As for the bathrooms- And the reason I HAD to take away a star- the women's bathroom was DISGUSTING. It had urine in the toilet and dried urine ALL OVER the seat. The trash can was overflowing onto the floor. Unacceptable!

The food was not bad. Prices are definitely on the high side for a burger/sandwich. The milkshake was very good. I got the Cinnamon Toast one and it was good. The service was "meh" - not very friendly though. I ordered shakes but they didn't tell us they were keeping them in the freezer so I stood in a line waiting, thinking they hadn't made them. Overall not a bad experience but not our favorite sandwich joint for sure. But would probably try it again.

Great food and a easy place to get in and out of. Wish the price was a little less but it's expensive to eat anywhere. Bourbon bacon burgers are great. Possibly the best cheese curds we have ever ate.

Went in around 9:30am. I was the only customer. Ordered a single burger and tots. I heard him cooking it but the burger when it came out wasn’t even hot enough to melt the cold cheese. I’m guessing they precook some burgers and then just cook them a bit more when ordered but if I pay for a burger and the place specializes in burgers, then I want a totally freshly cooked burger that is hot enough to melt the cheese on it. Otherwise I can go to Wendy’s

The good - cheeseburgers and fries were of good quality. My husband really liked the ghost pepper burger. He said it was about a 3 on the hot scale, but an 8 on overall taste. The bad - It cost $31 for those 2 meals. We were there around lunchtime, but there were only 2 other tables that came in after us....that being said, almost all the tables needed to be wiped down, the drink station had spills. and there was food on the floor. 3 people "working" but no one wanted to spend 15 minutes to do a quick clean up?
