It's a good breakfast and lunch place. It has a lot unusual drinks and pastries. There is a menu for breakfast and lunch. For these, the portions are pretty good sized portions plus it is delicious.

A well deserved 5 ☆s!! Had so much fun here. A friend stopped for coffee and we ended up with 4 gorgeous AND delicious desserts (and a glass do wine for me)The service was exceptional. The sweets to die for and ambiance clean & modern. 100% recommend

Whenever were looking for a spot to do some work and enjoy some warm drinks, we always end up here at O Cafe. Our usual would be their Chai Latte. Their small's pretty big to be honest which I like! I've gotten their chocolate croissant and its good! I have yet to try all the other pastries they always have up cause they all look mouth watering. Service is great, the server who takes our order is always pleasant and smiling.

Very nice place to be with the family. I was looking for a place to have breakfast and my wife suggested cafe bernardo, which is a place that I don't like to go so, I found this place after little fight with my wife and daughter,we got to this tiny bistro family oriented;very nice people attending you since you walk in to the beautiful French atmosphere. Pastries food, drinks, and most importantly the service, makes this place unique. My family loved it and thanked me for the experience...

I can’t believe I waited so long to eat here. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was incredible. We also took some pastries home with us. The strawberry white chocolate scone was delicious, the key lime pie was perfect and the pecan bar so yummy. It’s a place I will absolutely take friends for lunches.

Small Cafe in Old Town Fair oaks. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Some great coffee options. I would recommend the Tuxedo Mocha, it's was fantastic. Our party of 4 each order a different breakfast item. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Absolutely no complaints. Food was delicious, service was great. Definitely will be back to try more of their offerings.

Both dined in and bought a few pastries to take home. The food was delicious but the real stars were the pastries. The Paris brest, chocolate bomb, and oak cake were all phenomenal. That said, the oak cake was so delicious I spent the 30 minutes after I ate it looking for a recipe.

The place is really nice. I ordered "Chocolate Cheesecake". Even though, I wouldn't say it was a cheesecake it still was REALLY GOOD!!! I'm definitely going to come back and eat this delicious dessert!

05/2024 Visited on a weekday during brunch hours. Somewhat busy. I ordered the Paris Brest, Chocolate Croissant, and a Darjeeling Tea. Costed a little over $13. Discovered this place as I was in the neighborhood. It's seriously a hidden gem! I absolutely love bakeries (so maybe this review seems biased)! I've had chocolate croissants and Paris Brest in Paris and let me tell you, this cafe is doing it justice! Laminated pastries are the best and this place does it right! The atmosphere is great - the surrounding neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired, HOWEVER, the street that this business is on has an old-town-timey feel, where it's highly walkable with businesses to explore at every turn. The shop itself has indoor and outdoor seating and the decor is very "cozy." For the price, I'd say it was worth it! (Although maybe not the tea, that was expensive for some bagged tea... BUT it was loose leaf!) Would I come again if I was craving some sweet treats? Absolutely! 5 out of 5 laminated sheets of dough and butter.

Have been coming here every other month since they opened. Got the Shrimp Salad(Sea Salad) I believe. Shrimp cooked to perfection and an adequate amount! Baby corn was tasteless... One suggestion I have is that rather than using babycorn in your salads is to use chunks of fresh sweet corn.. it would really elevate the dish; especially given the acidity of the dressing! I highly suggest this. Overall good experience 5/5

Food is off the hook, fantastic, authentic, French bakery fare by an actual French chef. Though Im not sure how directly involved they are on most days, but on dishes that require advanced skills, the touch is clearly there. I frequent Marseille often, it checks out. Not much service to be had here, but staff is friendly. Food is a bit pricey, but in order to keep it staffed, off the beaten path location, it is about as overpriced as drive through these days. The flavor though? Amazing. We go Sundays typically, and the usual French bakery cuisine is on hand. My mom had the best raisin cookies of her life, after 70 years of loving them. I had a duck burger (weird, right?) tasted phenomenal with onions and bell peppers. The bun was obviously fresh made there, that day. Made that day is a theme there and in France of course. My wife had eggs Benedict. They were creamy with just a hint of sour, not nearly as sour as other places. Again, sauces obviously made from scratch that day. No premixes or unfresh ingredients here. Atmosphere isn't amazing, but it's quaint. 1960s dinerish. Local paintings on the wall (oof, overpriced for what art they are!) but it's nice to see rotating works from local artists instead of droll pictures. All in all, it's best to describe this French bakery as a hidden gem, on a "starting to come back" historic street, with character from the 1950s. A little slice of a simpler time, when Fair Oaks was a quaint little town. Right off sunrise Blvd traffic at fair oaks which isn't even noticeable due to the hills. Fantastic. Indoor and outdoor, covered sidewalk seating. Give it a try. You won't be sorry.

This place was recommended because they made their pastries in-house. We ordered the chocolate bomb dessert and a mocha. The chocolate dessert was fantastic, and the mocha was pretty good. We will definitely be coming back for more of their great pastries and espresso drinks. The employee who helped us at O' Cafe was nice and friendly, very helpful and definitely knowledgeable. This place is so much better for espresso drinks than the Fair Oaks Cafe.

Love O Caffe! I bring each of my kids here once a week before school so we can spend time together. This place is an absolute gem and nothing comes close to it in the area. It's rare to find places like this that make everything from scratch and at such high quality. My go to is the breakfast egg sandwich and I usually get a baked treat as a dessert. Both of my kids love it as well and we've been going down the menu trying different dishes and desserts. The staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming. Relaxed casual ambiance and very characteristic of Old Fair Oaks. Give them a try and be adventures with your choices, you won't be disappointed!

Came here early for breakfast. Food was delicious, matcha was great, and we all like our drinks. There was no table in the store and only one large table that’s only for six people left , but after asking them, they were willing to let us use that table. Highly recommended this location for breakfast and will be back here

Decided to try something new. I found this little café on Google maps This café is very cute and quaint! I tried the quiche, veggie style and the Paris Brest 3 inch Both were very good however, the veggie quiche was very flavorful and very delicious. The menu has many delicious items. I’ll try when I come back the next time. Would recommend this little café if in the area.

What a quaint and cozy place! My cousin lives nearby and wanted to bring me here and I'm very glad he did. You walk up and order and they bring your order to the table. The staff was very nice and friendly. I had the Croque Madam and my cousin had the Poullete sandwich (chicken). We did a split so we could try both items. They are both good in their own right. The Croque Madame was served open faced and served with a fresh salad with balsamic dressing. I'm assuming it was house made but I didn't ask. The Poullette was amazing! The bread was almost like a bruschetta, in that it was grilled over and open flame. Tasted so good! I ordered some desserts to take home. Chocolate shortbread cookies. (Kinda dry and may be moreso, not what I was expecting..I think) I grabbed a Palmier (haven't tried yet) and slice of the Oak Cake. Orangey, chocolatey and rich! Delicious. All in all I give this place 10/10 for food, service and atmosphere.

The food and drinks were so yummy, I had the strawberry matcha latte and the salmon special. My friend had iced tea and the country breakfast. I would say the one negative is that it's super loud inside, they do have patio seating, but just a heads up if you're noise sensitive some loop earplugs or patio seating might be better.

There is something quite magique about this place. The authenticity of the food, the charming atmosphere, the music, the decor—it's as if it was made just for the old romantic soul. I bring my books every week and lose myself utterly in the spirit of O Café. My choice today was the Paris Brest, which I thought to be most delectable. Crispy on the outside, delicate and sweet on the inside. Like many of the other Pâtisseries on the menu, it was modest on the palate, yet extravagant in its presentation, not like you would find American sweets to be: overly-sweet and yet dull in appearance. I am thankful for such good food, such pleasant music, and for the continuous hospitality of the delightful staff at O Café.

Fresh sandwiches and delicious baked sweets! We come here often, and the service is always quick. It can get busy, and seating is limited, but the customer service is outstanding. One of the staff members even ran out to bring us our salads after we had placed a to-go order—such a thoughtful gesture! We really appreciate the excellent service and will definitely keep coming back.

With a parking spot vacant across the street I turned in and grabbed it as a sign of good luck. I’m glad I did. Patio dining on this Sunday morning was packed out but a couple was leaving so LuLu (my 11-pound dog) and I swooped right in. Another good sign! Went in and ordered at the counter “Oeuf Mollet”’for a late breakfast which is then delivered to your table. I like to eat or go places I can’t pronounce and what a treat. Coffee was good, friendly efficient service and the one food item I tried was great. I’d come here again. Minus one star for only having one “toilette”, the second one was there but was locked with a sign “employees only”

This is a seat yourself restaurant indoor or outdoor. Counter service only. The staff were friendly. However, they do deliver your food to the table. We ordered two of the Omelets Make your own with all of the ingredients. The food was fresh, delicious and flavorful. There was Blues music playing which, was definitely different. Before leaving we purchased pastries to go. We Will Be Back

Tried the Country Breakfast with hot chocolate. I ordered an extra egg. I ordered the eggs over medium. The edges of two of the eggs were burned. One egg was over medium. It appeared that small eggs were used, as opposed to medium, large, or extra large. The other two were over hard. The bacon was great. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. The bagguets were a little small. I'd call them micro-bagguets. There was a small salad, as well. Delicious. Good atmosphere. Friendly service. Food was delivered to my table. Hot chocolate was delicious and served elegantly Utensils came wrapped in a paper napkin. Guests for 'O' skew older. After the meal, I ordered an almond croissant to go. It was a little hard. It might have been better if I had it warmed up. Overall I had a good first experience. Recommend you give 'O' a try.

A crossover between a country cafe and a parisian boulangerie this quaint breakfast spot serves up a variety of baked goods and treats along with some delicious food offerings. Everything we saw and ate was homemade. My wife had Eggs Benedict with poached eggs just right, prosciutto, and hollandaise sauce. She liked it but said the sauce was a bit too lemony for her preference. I tried the Ouef Mollet and thought it was great! Two soft cooked eggs with Gruyere cheese, baby potatoes, peppers, onion, bacon topped with avocado and a dollop of sour cream. It was piping hot which was nice as everything was warm down to my last bite. I had never heard of a dish like this but I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back to get it again soon. My wife had a cappuccino which was topped with milk foam. She said it was very good. We also shared a berry scone...good, not great. Stop by the Fair Oaks village and give it a try.

This is my 4th time coming to this Cafe and I've always had great customer service and food. I would come here for patries, desserts and their jerk chicken sandwich. Today my friend and I found out that they no longer have that sandwich on their menu. I got the Salmon Sandwich with pesto instead of cream cheese and it was delicious! The service offered by Desiree was superb 🙌🏿 but the service we received from our waiter Jackie was not unfortunately. He was very passive-aggressive, from the first interaction. I will continue to come here because of the intimacy and tranquility of the space, and of course the delicious options. Also! the water there is amazing! Idk how but it's so tasty.

Nice place with decent sandwiches and good service. We got the salmon sandwich and the pulled pork cubana. It came with a nice side salad. The salmon was good but just didn’t have much salmon but had a fried egg in it. The cubana was better with a good sauce nice chunks of habaneros in it. It just had a better flavor. Outdoor seating is a very nice plus.

Slid in here for some coffee and ended up with breakfast. Pretty cool little spot, but though it acts like a restaurant, it's more like a fast food joint. It was kinda of a cluster as far as service goes. The coffee came after the food, salad had no salad dressing and ketchup was MIA. That being said. Once they sorted out the cluster, the food was decent, I enjoyed it. The food presentation and ambience of the joint were both really good though. We didn't get any, but the pastry options looked off the hook! If you need some Eggs Benedict or some pastries and happen to be in the area, give it a shot.

Eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce was too lemony. Place was crowded and too loud for breakfast. We forgot to try the pasties maybe next time.

Great place, however........ This place looks great. Always busy and there is a wait as this is: Order at the front, then wait for food. Ambiance: Nice and cozy. It can get loud as it becomes busy. But overall, nice area and clean. Looks well taken care of. Service: Excellent. Orders taken by nice staff. They listen and take their time listening to exactly what you want. Cleanliness: Very clean areas. Plates and silverware very clean. All other areas clean and tidy. No dust, grime that I can see anywhere. Now the food: When I came in for the first time I immediately noticed the Eggs Benedict on the menu. I made that my first choice. Upon receiving it, the plate was very well put together with a nice green salad(dressing just poured on it). As a five star server in the past, I would have mixed the salad with the dressing tossed with the salad to cover every bit of each lettuce leaf. The hollandaise sauce we very good, a bit of lemon and tasted the way it should with the right consistency as well. However, I did notice the egg was fried lightly underneath! Wow...Now, for me, if it was my restaurant, I would have poached the eggs in Vinegar. This adds significant taste and proper texture. I was absolutely surprised that it was served this way. It may be how they do it, but in my eyes, it is wrong. A chef will be a chef and will do it they way he/she wants it, but again, in my eyes eggs Benedict should be done correctly. I gave the restaurant a second chance a couple of week later and tried the French dip sandwich. This was a pure nightmare, red wine reductions sauce or similar, something that tasted way too salty and just did not taste well at all. Overall: Some may enjoy this establishment, but for me, I did not. For that reason, I will not be back unfortunately. Keep in mind this is only a personal preference, so you be the judge. Hope this helps and happy eating out! Thank you.

Took my daughter here for a quick snack. The kitchen was already closed so we just got things in the bakery cold case. We got a few different desserts including a cookie, a cup of tomato bisque soup, and a ham and cheese croissant. The food was okay. My daughter said the cookie was dry and did not eat most of it. The soup was pretty good and the croissant was okay as well due to the strange cheese on it. The indoor seating area is very charming. Love the chicken decor which goes well with the old town Fair Oaks famous chickens that roam the area

I’ve always had good experiences here and have been coming for years, which is why today’s visit was especially disappointing. I ordered a small cappuccino, and when the drink came out it felt extremely light. When I opened the lid, it was only about halfway filled with foam that was already dissolving. I understand that cappuccinos are meant to be light, but this felt like barely any drink at all, especially for around eight dollars. I politely went back to the counter and asked if it would be possible to remake it. The cashier was very kind and understanding, and we were already agreeing on a solution. However, the barista who made the drink interrupted our conversation and insisted that I was wrong and that the drink was made correctly. For context, I worked as a barista for four years at several coffee shops, including Temple Coffee, which is well known locally for its training and coffee standards. In all the cafés I’ve worked at, a cappuccino has never been served half empty like this. To avoid having the same issue happen again, I asked if the remake could simply be a vanilla latte instead. Unfortunately, the replacement drink was also incorrect. Instead of a vanilla latte, I was given what appeared to be black coffee with a splash of oat milk and vanilla, and I didn’t realize the mistake until I was already halfway home. At that point I was extremely disappointed. Having two drinks made incorrectly in the same order is frustrating, especially after I was very clear when ordering the vanilla latte. The staff did give me a refund, which I appreciate. However, the combination of the interaction and two incorrect drinks made this a very frustrating experience. I’ve enjoyed the food and coffee here in the past, which is why this was so surprising. I’m hoping this was just an off day, but I do think it’s something management should be aware of so it doesn’t happen to other customers.
