What a cool and unique place. If you are a hunter you will love this place, there are animal mounts all over the walls. The food was all good. The pork chop had really good flavor and was cooked to perfection but was a little over seasoned. Same for the mixed vegetables. The boudin egg rolls were my favorite, they had an amazing flavor. The fried zucchini was also good and would recommend. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and had a decent flavor. The shrimp were also good and probably our favorite compared to the ribeye and pork chop.

This place is great! The staff is friendly and the taxidermy is cool. The pork chop is amazing and the best I have ever had. The Boudain egg rolls are awesome. Highly recommend.

I stopped by on an early Friday night and was immediately curious when I first walked in, it had that small hometown dinner feel mixed with a five star steak house. I was seated and greeted by the sweetest waitress with amazing service! All of the food was excellent and I will definitely be back!

We had a ribeye steak and mixed vegetables with a salad. We also ordered the fried zucchini, and it was absolutely wonderful. We loved that it wasn't heavily breaded and thinly sliced. I'm looking forward to coming back. Next time, I'll get a picture of the rest of the meal!

Great food and it is presented nicely. The staff is attentive. If something isn't right they will do their best to make it right. If it is busy you will have to be patient on waiting time to recieve you order and it can also be very loud in there due to the rooms acoustics. But overall one of the best places with some the best service in Fairfield, Tx.

My husband and I have dined here on numerous occasions. We are so blessed to have this restaurant in our small town. Everything on the menu is delicious. Customer service is over the top too!!! We were passing through and saw the positive Google reviews! Wow! Wish this restaurant was close to my home, I would eat here very often! The first Wow was our server, I apologize I forgot her name. I just remember her saying that she graduated last year and was going to Steven F Austin. She was very friendly and did an amazing job providing excellent customer service! The second wow was the food and the atmosphere! Being a restaurant owner myself I highly recommend anybody reading this to give this restaurant a try!

Small upscale place, excellent customer service. Owner is on site and is a real butcher, and can get any cut off meat your heart desires. I'm my opinion they make the best pizza in freestone county, it seems like it's brick oven baked and all handmade with the freshest ingredients. It is a must try.

Been there twice. The food was excellent. But it takes long long to be served.

Tasty food, but slow service. We got there at 6:25. We didn't get our food until 7:34. I would have liked to have been leaving by that time. I ordered the Ribeye on Pasta Alfredo. It was very good. My wife ordered the Shrimp Basket with fries and jalapeño hushpuppies. The hushpuppies were very good, but there were only 2 of them, and they were small.

Everything about this place is great. A little pricey for a small town. But the food is definitely worth it. The wait staff is very attentive. Unfortunately the kitchen is slow at getting orders out. Over an hour wait for lunch. Thank goodness I'm retired. Two big tables had arrived before me, so I can imagine that the slowness was because of that. Will try again, hopefully the slow service is better.

The only good thing i can say about this place is that the atmosphere is cool if you like hunting trophies which I do. We waited a couple of minutes to get our drinks and menu's and once our order was placed we waited at least 45 minutes to get our food. I had the combo basket which consisted of unseasoned fried fish, tasteless fries, decent shrimp and jalapeño hush puppies that were actually not bad. Not exactly a place I would try again.
