We eat quite a bit family & work. Always greeted by the manager Philemon and staff. Good food & service. And don’t forget about karaoke on Thursdays!!!

We were a party of 11. Our drink orders were taken quickly and then waiter returned to take our meal orders. Everything tasted delicious. Excellent service. Drinks refilled before we had to ask.

Our family has eaten here a few times and the food and service are always great!

We went there for an early dinner; the customer service was nice; it didn’t take long for them to take our order. The restaurant was clean; the atmosphere was nice and quiet; they have TVs and a patio bar area which was great because Sunday football games were on. We would definitely go there again for dinner; the food was very good.

Thoroughly enjoy this place. Routinely travel between DFW and Houston. After stubmling on this place the first time, we go out of our way to find it. Great service and always multiple servers. Quick. Friendly. Good portions (even lunch). Great margaritas. Has a local/friendly atmosphere. The food has always tasted good-great. Already excited about the trip back.!

This place has some of the best Mexican food you will every have. Fajitas are phenomenal and their green sauce is perfect. We eat here frequently and their service staff are over-the-top. Enjoy

Yummy food. The staff here are very nice, too. I only rated 4 stars on the atmosphere because sometimes crowds become overwhelming for me and I get really bad anxiety...but, that's a great thing for the restaurant because obviously they make great food!

Stopped here at lunch time on the way back from a soccer tournament in Alvarado. Food was delicious, with large portions & came out quickly, even though we had 7 people.

Service was very quick! We both had Taco Salads. The chicken Fajita meat was delicious & tender. The Salsa was really good & the chips were light & crispy. The menu is very extensive with lots to choose from.

This testimonial may find value to some: I had a day off and the wife and I decided to drive over an hour to have our favorite Stuffed Avocado. Had their top shelf margarita this time and really enjoyed them. We love this place!

We drive 40 minutes just to eat at El Jimador #7 occasionally. I personally love the frozen strawberry margaritas, and the salsa is my favorite out of all restaurants that I've been to. My husband says that the Camarones Bravos is the best bacon wrapped shrimp around. The staff is extra friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. It's definitely worth the extra miles we drive to get there.

We were driving back from cruise and stopped here for lunch. It was fantastic. Service was top notch and food was excellent. Husband had jumbo margarita and taco with cheese enchiladas and ate all of it. I had the chicken fajita crema enchiladas with rice and they were some of the best I have had. We really enjoyed the salsa it was top 5 for sure. Definitely would come back if we pass through again.

The charros beans and street tacos were amazing! Queso was incredible loved the carrots & onions! We absolutely loved the mango margaritas! Literally one of the best Mexican Restaurants we have ever been to! The waitstaff were amazing as well! Super attentive and friendly!

Good place to eat Mexican Food. Nice service, very clean and the music was Mexican but not loud or over bearing. The food came out quickly and when I ordered a spicier Mexican sauce they delivered. I would go back again.

Big glasses of fresh ice tea are perfect on a hot humid day! This is a great halfway stop between Dallas and home. Great food and service. Will definitely come back!

Food was really good and portions were generous. Server didn't speak much English. And that's okay, but if another server has to come take your drink order because you don't understand "Jack and Coke," it's a little annoying.

Met a friend for lunch. We started with the Queso Flameado with chorizo. Tasted good but was very greasy. We both ordered the beef fajita enchiladas. These dishes were very delicious. The only thing just a little off spiced, was the rice. I would return

Hubby and I ate here heading back to DFW after Thanksgiving and were pleasantly surprised! Big step up from what I thought a restaurant in Fairfield would be. Delicious food amd great service. Be sure to sit at the bar or the area so Antonio can help you. He's very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant. Apparently, it even has a night life starting Thursday night with karaoke. Glad to know places like this exist in the area as we will eventually be living back in the area! Recommend for sure

This place is a nice little gem in the middle of nowhere. Food is quite enjoyable, but I will say alot of the flavor is with whatever sauce you get on your food. If you order something with only meat and cheese it's a little bland. The sauces are fantastic though. Which is good if you like all the extras. That aside the service is good even when busy, they have a good bar. The only real complaint I have is the HUGE menu. It's a little overwhelming. Several front and back pages filled with options. It takes a good minute look over everything much less actually make up your mind. Way better atmosphere than anywhere else in the area. I hate a cafeteria style place. Also a big, somewhat enclosed outdoor patio for smoking or if you just want to be outside. Overall this is always the place I choose to go out in this area.

Food is good, Fajitas are always outstanding. Service is always top notch. Order some green sauce with your chips, it is awesome. Beware the margaritas, they will knock you on your ass in a good way!

Reservered room for private party, 5-7pm. Got seated at 5:15. Drink order takenat 5:45. Food order taken at 6:30, some of us didn't get food get food until after 7pm. Seven families were seated in the area where we were trying to have a private bridal shower. Won't be back.

Food is a hit and a miss sometimes. It's never usually the same when we go. Depends on who's cooking I guess. Last time we went, the food was pretty good.

Ordered take out. My cheese enchiladas were not done. The cheese was still solid in shredded form. I didn't receive my guacamole that comes with the higher priced meal I ordered and they decreased the size of salsa they normally send by half. Normally please buy definitely disappointed.

Waiter was very attentive but English was limited. Menu is confusing. Husband saw what # he wanted on lunch menu side but it was supper so he just told waiter he wanted 3 tacos. Brought him the same # on dinner menu but apparently #’s for lunch and supper are different so he got some fish he didn’t recognize. Then, as we were putting cash tips on table, waiter came around and asked if that was for him and reached in front of my husband and picked it up right in front of us. Did the same to everyone who left cash. Dirty dishes still on table. They do have good margaritas and chili con queso is really good. Another one in our group didn’t get her guacamole.

It took a very long time to place our order, and when we arrived, it was not busy. After asking the cashier if he could let someone know we were ready to order, someone finally came. My grandson ordered a cheeseburger, but it was so dry. My food wasn't bad.

Staff very friendly. Quality of food less than desired. Canerones Especialous used cheap shrimp with zero taste, chicken enchiladas -- how can you ruin chicken. Margarita was good.

Canned chili gravy- what the heck is that? Chalupas were invert taco shells(store bought), bottom smeared with bean, some bland meat and then lettuce and tomato with a dollop of guac. Jar queso, husband’s enchiladas were tasteless.

DO NOT GO THERE YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME….TO MANY ITEMS ON THE MENU FOR IT TO BE TRULY AUTHENTIC….. My Mother-in-law was still willing to pay the $40 despite the food was not made correctly! The Manager didn’t even correct the issue even after taking the fajita plate back to cook to be made tender, that was unsuccessful! The Manager just wanted the $40 instead of correcting the issue! This place is trash! We will never return again!
