For a fast food Mexican restaurant, this is surprisingly and pleasingly awesome fast food. Fresh salsa, clean and a great bargain. Speedy ordering at the counter, quick exit out the door, which is key when travelling on the road and stopping at the nearby gas station.

For fast food it took much longer than expected. We always thought of El Pollo Loco as a healthy alternative, but looking at calorie count it’s no better than a burger and fries.

Great food chain,but why can’t we dine inside? I drive and work around a lot of cities and in my truck all day and hoping to sit down to eat why can’t they open it so disappointed.

I walked in and ordered, some of my food was made completely wrong I only got half of what I ordered and then I got skipped over three other people while they got their chicken I was told my chicken was cooking which I did not know there was different chicken then the people that ordered in front of me waited for about 25 minutes before they just gave up and left not receiving any of their food.

Chicken tinga burrito... More than halfway through the burrito, where is the shredded tinga chicken??? I have plenty of rice and beans and the burnt ends of DICED chicken burrito, not a chicken tinga burrito. Also, where is the tostada for my double tostada salad?? In 4 weeks the container for the salad went from normal size to the size of Panda Express takeout... With no tostada. And if you ask for the manager " i am the manager but I don't speak English"... Really? Good thing I speak Spanish too but that's the game y'all are playing? Literally my last hope in fast food burned up like the burnt chicken they serving.

Food was great but service sucked, Perla had the worst attitude i've ever experienced in customer service and when i asked for a Manager she said there wasn’t any on shift, she didn’t fix the the issue and just walked away.

Update!! a few months ago I had no problems with this restaurant. TONIGHT I was given old lettuce in my salad. The tostada bowl appeared old and it was soggy and broken before I even put my dressing on it. The young lady that was working the drive thru register had such a nasty attitude, for whatever reason. We were told no military discount would be given. We asked her when did they stop this..she states " TODAY, RIGHT NOW‼️"Then the manager explained the register had to reboot or something and that we WOULD get our military discount 🤷🏾‍♀️. Ok no problem. We even thanked the manager and she was apologetic about the situation. Per the Manager, the young lady was to give us our food. Well she handed it to us , no thank you, have a nice day etc. just closed the door and rolled her eyes. She was the wrong person on the drive thru window. Maybe she had a bad day, but all I asked was when did the discounts stop🤷🏾‍♀️. I never had a problem before at this restaurant. This is the first time I've ever gotten a nasty attitude thrown at me and a nasty meal. 🤢 This was a first and I hope the last. I'll come in from now on and WATCH how my meal is made. Cause that girl that worked the drive thru window tonight possibly assisted in making my meals and did something questionable.

Holy hell I know it's overpriced $22 for two tacos chips guacamole rice and beans but God damn, I didn't expect to have pieces of cartilage in every single bite of the tacos I ate. Needs to say this is the last time I'll ever visit El Pollo loco. But oh my God the amount of cartilage I found in my tacos was ridiculous. $22 for a fast food meal of tacos rice and beans with some chips is insanity. If this is a new standard I apologize but you guys got to do better.
