Giving my Lake Elsinore Carls Jr 5 STARS!! I'm a Customer Service Representative CSR (Lead Cashier) at the Stater Bros Markets next door to this Carl's Jr.. so I know the importance of customer service since customer service is my passion!! Carl's Jr has always been my favorite fast food option and my opinion is that Carl's Jr is better than McDonald's or Jack in the box & Burger King etc.. but I'm disappointed that my favorite grilled cheese bacon burger has been removed and discontinued from Carl's Jr menu about 5-7 years ago.. Carl's Jr in the old days used to have the Grilled cheese bacon burger, and a option to upgrade the burger to a "Double Patty grilled cheese".. but it's no longer on the menu unfortunately, but after the grilled cheese burger was discontinued and officially no longer on the menu.. when i would still try to order my favorite Grilled cheese bacon burger, most Carls Jr locations would tell me "we're sorry, that grilled cheese is no longer on the menu, but would you like to try our NEW grilled cheese"? The current grilled cheese options are a breakfast grilled cheese and another grilled cheese Burger but it comes with lettuce & tomato & onion which is like a modified version of the original grilled cheese burger because the original was on sourdough bread & the new grilled cheese with lettuce & tomato is on a regular style burger bun.. but the breakfast grilled cheese is on sourdough but either way it's a compromise and not exactly how I like it haha however, over the years of attempting to order the original grilled cheese that is discontinued, only 2 different Carl's Jrs have gone above and beyond to make a custom grilled cheese exactly the way I want it, and they would charge me for the current grilled cheese & I pay a little extra for the double patty & the manager would just tell the cook to make the old style grilled cheese, and luckily, if the cook has been an employee long enough to remember old menu items the cook would remember it and make it custom & add the two different cheeses & add mayo & sourdough & two patties.. but the majority of Carl's Jrs would tell me they CANT accommodate my request because it's not on the menu.. and I have found only 2 Carl's Jr locations that have gone out of their way, and took the extra time to accommodate my special request to make my favorite Burger, because I stopped eating at Carl's Jr completely when this burger was removed from the Menu.. and Carl's Jr lost me as a customer for a long time, but miraculously, I found 2 locations that were willing to go above and beyond for me, to keep me as a customer.. and I decided to write a review, because I know that the little things employees do might not always be recognized by the higher executives in the company.. this Lake Elsinore Carls Jr is one of the few Carl's Jrs in the Inland Empire region that are performing acts of customer service, like accomodating my special custom request.. the other location is in Temecula somewhere but forgot the exact location, but the manager in Temecula that also accommodated me, stopped working there and was replaced by another manager.. so I hope he got promoted.. but the new manager that replaced him in Temecula, he didn't accommodate my special request and he told me like the majority of Carl's Jrs "Sorry that item is no longer on the menu".. so this Lake Elsinore Carls Jr is the only one left that is going above and beyond to provide customer Service.. and I decided it was worth me taking the time to give a 5 star review since the manager of this location Rodrigo & the shift leader Mariela worked together as a team to explain to the cooks how to make this burger and i said thank you to the female cooks in the back & literally the cooks smiled back & said your welcome in Spanish.. thak you Carls Jr Lake Elsinore

I keep forgetting how good they really are. I had a bad experience at one many years ago and that first impression keeps overshadowing. It's just about finding your special menu item, there options are so unique. The Jalapeno burger is awesome, the Famous Stsr is also a good basic lettuce/tomato/etc. Burgers that's the perfect size. Six dollar burger was hit and miss for me, but mostly hit. Its just if you want bbq bacon or jalapeno alvacado and such.

Nut check that you recieve all your order when driving through because if you have to go back the male hispanic manager that i believe to be the GM, won't be very nice. In my experience with him he left me feeling as though i was looking for a handout. I was made to feel as ifvi wasnt telling the truth and it was do bad i am never dealing with that again so. Check before leaving the property usually right at the window. If the quality wasn't so good my experience would stop my patronage

Ok. The food is good. I just had coffee and hash browns while I waited for my car to get service. The problem is homeless guys who hang out in parking lot and scream at you for money.

We come here every couple weeks on busy work and school days. They get our order right, the food is fresh and the kiddos enjoy it as well! They keep a clean lobby and are friendly.

Free Western bacon cheeseburger day!!!! I really like a Carl's junior burger!! And a free burger is twice as delicious 😋 lol! The salted caramel pretzel shake is one of my favorites! Never disappoints, and always hits the spot!

I love this location. They always get my order right on the first try and ordering is never an issue. The staff is friendly and never seems bothered by any particular requests. You know how sometimes you can go to a place and they seemed annoyed if you ask for anything that is out of the norm this place doesn't do that to you. The service is fast as it can be especially for a joint that doesn't make your food till you order it for real. I have been to a couple other locations in the area and once or twice it seem like the chicken wasn't cooked all the way but I never have that issue here at all like I was saying Carl's is good but it's not good if you go to the wrong one and this one this one's the right when to go to.

The reason in particular I give this store a 5 star rating is the manager. He's almost always present when I come in. The other reason is I'm vegetarian and when I make requests for no meat, they don't make mistakes and they take special requests happily. The manager, his name escapes me at the moment, is friendly and always engaged with the public. Many times I've met homeless folks there. I love people, it's hard for me not to talk to most people. Good natured homeless folks have my empathy and friendship in my neighborhood. This manager treats these folks like everyone else and waits on them himself even though they pay in mostly coins, he is always friendly and having a conversation with them. Just nice to see when most people chase them off or want them removed from the streets like they were yesterday's garbage and not people at all. So if you could give this manager recognition for having a great crew and a clean store and being an all-around good guy, I'd appreciate it and I'm sure he would too.😄

Place is always run with professional care. People are always pleasant and ready to get you what you need. It seems that the Railroad Canyon Mission Trail intersection rates a Flagship Carl's Jr. You really can't beat Carl's for the charbroiled burger. Carl's makes So many variations that are good. Best fast food charbroiled burger in town and, prices are very reasonable.

I just got some food here and the woman at the window was so sweet I wish I got her name but she has Brown hair and a beautiful smile. Every time she's working there she compliments me and let me just say I can't stop smiling she has no idea how much her kind words can change someone's day or maybe she does know lol. The food it great and the service is bomb.

I come here a lot for lunch since I work right around the corner. I came here on July 30 2018 and I ordered a number 16 and I went back to work when I realized I forgot my change. So I called them and told them what I ordered and that I forgot my change. They immediately knew who I was and told me to come back and get my change. I went back and picked up my change. A+ for integrity and honesty. I didn't have a receipt and they could've easily just said oh sorry we don't know what change you're talking about. I'll be back here again. Great customer service.

Rodrigo the manager truly showed how much he cares about the customers and The Business. In this day and age where no one hardly even says hello when you go to fast food. This guy not only said hello he wanted to know how you we're doing. I witnessed him serve a couple of elderly couples. He even got their drinks for them as it was hard for them to walk. Other fast food folks need to take lessons from this manager. The restaurant was clean and nice. The food was perfect. I was truly impressed. You really should visit this Carl's Jr. Years ago I got the pleasure of meeting Carl Karcher in a few of his restaurants in Orange County. He would just walk in and start busing tables and asking customers how things were doing. I remember back then being so impressed that the head of a big company like that would come in and first thing right off help his employees and his customers. Carl’s Jr. in Lake Elsinore is one of our family favorites. Their burgers — especially the Western Bacon — are always delicious. We usually ask for a lettuce wrap option, and they make it perfectly shaped every time. We also love their onion rings, chicken strips, and honestly, so many other items on the menu. The customer service is excellent — even when it’s busy, the staff stays friendly and patient. The food is wonderful, and I’ve always wondered why Carl’s Jr. is so underrated, especially when you see long, traffic-blocking lines at In-N-Out right across the street.

SPACIOUS & CLEAN! I came in to pick up some free fries that I won during the Storm's Star Wars Day and the staff were super gracious. The girl at the register inserted our free fry codes without attitude, we also bought drinks while we were at it (support your local franchises!) and got our food quickly. As mentioned, it's very roomy in here and there's plenty of tables for big or small groups. We went in on a late Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Most of the people were really calm and it was overall a good environment. This Carl's Jr. is near the freeway and The Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium.

For fast food Carl's Jr is one of my favorite burgers and the food here was hot and fresh. The cashier, Abraham, was great and he was extremely polite, which is rare these days at fast food joints. Had a great experience.

Popped in for a burger and to relax a bit with my wife after a stressful work week. Carl's Jr. is rarely crowded inside unless it is the lunch rush. Tables are always clean as is the rest of the restaurant.

Monster biscuit was great. Could've used some more gravy. I was bummed that they did away with their 2 biscuit deal for $7. They need to reinvent their dining room. No one is ever in there. Ever since they did away with their salad bar. Bring back the large chocolate chip cookies and the $6 burgers.

Had my first Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger in 37 years...was as good as I remembered it.

It was overall very good but I don’t appreciate my burger being drenched in sauces to the point it’s very soggy and slippery. Like I said very good and the service and atmosphere is very nice this is the only problem I have with the place.

The $5 meals are a great value. The food is fresh, doesn't look or taste like it's been sitting around under a warmer. It's conveniently off the 15 freeway and easy to get in and out even with busy traffic. They even have great tasting hot dogs!

The food is consistently good. The food takes long, but that's a good thing, means they're actually cooking food... The only fault for me is that I'm allergic to dairy and so I have to order items without cheese and to my dismay, I still get items with cheese... big no no.... it's not that I'm choosing not to eat cheese, it's that I can't...they should be able to double check if my order has no cheese before I get all the way home and have to throw the food away...

Very tasty burger, even if a bit messy. Staff not overly friendly, but fast service and the fries were the hottest I have ever had. The napkins are in the holders upside down which makes it hard to get one or any out of the container.

First visit to this particular Carls Jr. Service was quick, the lady who took my order was friendly. The food was really good, both the fries and the zucchini were freshly fried ( no warmer time ), and the burger was great, cooked nicely and just the right amounts of condiments.

I got the Star burger.it was tasty.a large burger. Didn't like the lettuce on it it was all wilty from the heat of the meat so I removed it. A little too much for me so I ate half of it you have to be kind of hungry to eat this sandwich. Other than that it's an okay Burger.

Very friendly staff. Food was promptly delivered - without napkins. Food tasted good and was exactly what we ordered. Bathrooms stank a bit. Kids loved the play area, but the floor and inside needed to be cleaned. Plexiglass wasn't clear, slides were dirty, floor showing black where it looks like hasn't been cleaned in a week. Hate to imagine the upper insides, if the parts I could see were so bad.

Nothing about this place is fast food. 30 minutes to make a simple burger. This is by far the slowest Carl's jr and this is my last time. They server s multiple orders after me and his simple excuse was I'm sorry it's up to the cooks on what they cook first. Ummm no terrible and management needs to fix this.

Ordered what was labeled as a hand scooped chocolate milkshake* from this location. What I received was neither handscooped nor was it real ice cream. It was some soft serve frozen dairy product and the chocolate flavor tasted like a generic nesquik chocolate powder, you can taste and feel the powder and the flavor was barely noticeable. Other than that thier food has been great, service can either be great or a hit and miss at this location. Always love the guacamole burger and the fried zucchini.

This review goes to Carl's Jr. in general as you are getting ripped off. Their chicken tenders are small pieces with not a lot of chicken meat for $5.99. Ordered 2 boxes (3 pieces), and all pieces were tiny. It's definitely not worth $6. I also ordered a breaded chicken bacon swiss sandwich, and the quality was poor. For spending over $20, you can't even feed two people. Utterly disappointed in Carl's Jr.

I've wanted one of the staff to know that when someone walks into your establishment it's imperative that you acknowledge their presence with a greeting or a simple glance and a nod. They had one to many chiefs and not enough villagers. One associate was busy on his phone the other was standing in-between the kitchen and dining area just gossiping about another employee while I stood at the counter for just under 8 minutes before anyone came to the front counter. I understand being busy at work but not too busy flapping those gums while a customer is standing and waiting for someone to take my hard earned money, what was the kicker was not until I walked around the corner towards the dining area to look for the person who was speaking badly out loud about another associate did they stop the banter to ask me if I needed any help.. Retraining is a must at this particular location.. Because it was a different experience, Then to really throw a Zinger at me I read this while I am trying to fill up my cup with Ice at the fountain dispenser which had no ice, but the did have this cute little plastic Note that informs you that This establishment is collecting Data on you. I about lost my appetite. To think that Carl's Jr is in the Market to sell your data. I was Blown away that this was an actual posted warning stating that Carl's Jr is in the business of collecting and selling your information to God knows who.. mind boggling and a bit disappointed. I understand recording for our protection but to blatantly post this by the fountain drinks for customers to read after they have come into buy food. You would think that just like that sign that says "Smile your in Camera". That's posted on the door for anyone and everyone to see they should Also have to inform us before we walk thru those doors that they will be pilfering through your credit card or debit purchases to find information to sell to which ever company wants your data.. Wow completely Disappointed in Carl's Jr. I bet Carl Himself is rolling in his grave as we speak.. ZOOM IN SO YOU CAN READ IT FOR YOURSELF.. NOPE NOT DOING MEALS HERE. I was there a few weeks ago. I used the drive thru and they got my order worng. The manager lady seems a little immature to be running this place. She was unprofessional and a bit rude for their mistake. I mean just get my order right or fix it. They are slow in the drive thru every time I go here. I would request management get replace this rude obnoxious manager and get some one that respects Customers!!

The quality at Carl's is going down everywhere, but this store is the worst. They are ridiculously slow and seldom get orders right. The food is generally below average even for fast food. Extremely rude employees. They refused to sell water to a woman in 106°f weather. She asked for it to be sold to her and they said water is only if you buy food. She offered to pay for the water and was stating she was feeling dizzy. Never coming here again. They treat other customers this way, they don't deserve to be in business. They discriminated her because she was homeless. She's still human. She was trying to pay for water, a basic human necessity. Especially in 106°F weather.

Messed up order. We got Famous Stars instead of the ordered Super Stars. Whyyyy? Unfortunately at home now. I recommend to check your orders after receipt, even if you cause a big line and wait in the drive thru. So disappointing!

We went yesterday and ordered three kids meals for our kids along with a meal for my husband (I can’t eat gluten so I didn’t eat). When we got our food, they only gave us two kids meals and then told us the third was in the bag with my husbands food. But we paid for a meal. They only gave us the chicken stars out of the meal. Arguing for a good minute about it before she finally gave in and gave us another bag with a toy and fries. Absolutely ridiculous. If someone PAYS for something then give it to them. It’s not hard.

The owner is greedy. He wants about $1.25 more per quarter pounder patty then he should be charging most places only charge about a $1.49 this guy wants 2.80.

They never have shakes after 8 pm and they only take cash after the manager leaves, not to mention they close the restroom for cleaning and they never open them back they block them with trascans on doorway and of course this is only at night time. Ine more thing I been there a few times when the person in charge closes the dine early like around 9 or 9:30 and only have the drive thru open and not only that the lady comes and tells the few people left there that they are close and they have five minutes to leave Awful service on behalve of the chick I can hear when people order on dt and she says at this moment we are only taking cash Ive seen easily at least 10-15 cars drive thru because who now a day carries cash I hardly ever carry any I wonder how they manage to keep open if this girl dont want to do her job by saying my ice ceeam machine is broken or my ice cream is too soft can sell any at the moment and we are only taking cash And drive thru girls can be reayyl rude sad to say both of them are supervisor dont have their name but Ill get them next time Im there Food is good

When they forget to tell Uber Eats that they're closed and they're still taking orders so you show up for nothing and you don't get paid restaurants have a system that they can log into just shut down their order intake but I've noticed that a lot of these restaurants don't do that such a shame

We’ve been to this location several times and I would say 85% of the time they mess up the order. Super slow and sitting in line to get the order corrected my french fries were getting cold. Finally, after sitting in line for 15 or 20 minutes, we got to the window and the girl tried to argue with us that the cook said she’d put grilled onions on the burger. I opened up the whole thing in front of her and went from bottom to top with my fingers. She said the cook said she put grilled onions on it and then we handed her the burger. She took it back to the kitchen, put onions on it, re-wrapped it and brought it back to us and told us they made us a new burger. We know that’s not true because the burger was the same temperature as the one we handed to her, which at this time was almost cold. Partly because of the attitude and partly because we’re tired of all the mistakes at this Carl’s we won’t be going back.

Okay yesterday we came and we had a mobile order they parked us and forgot about us then handed us wrong items but We thought no biggie they were busy. We came again today. Mobile ordered again and sat in a drive thru line for 30 mins!!! And there was only one other car ahead of me! Then we got to the window and sat another 15 mins at the window just to be greeted !!!! Then another 10 just to get my food I’m beyond annoyed and definitely won’t be back.

I arrived there at 11:30am today and my order was wrong again. I usually let it slide as it’s not a huge deal, but I’m paying more than what I’m given pretty consistently and it is pretty irritating. I was the only one in the drive-thru so it’s never really busy when I’m there. I used to manage a few fast food chains and work on the line so it’s really not that difficult to read an order and prepare it. I’m not going to eat at Carls anymore. I’m sure my business isn’t super important since I’m just one person, but I can’t be the only one this happens to on a constant basis.

It was Friday night, and my wife and I were heading home from the grocery store. I asked if she'd like to get dinner from Carl's Jr., knowing she appreciated their option to substitute bread with lettuce. She was happy with that choice, so we ordered nearly $40 worth of food at the drive-thru. Despite it being a non-busy night, we waited 10 minutes in line for our order. Before heading home, I decided to check our food, and of course, they hadn't paid attention to the details. I tried to go back to the door to correct the order, but it was locked. When I called them, they told me to come back through the drive-thru, which was now full of cars, causing a wait of over 15 minutes. I told my wife to go ahead and eat while I dealt with the situation, but she felt uncomfortable eating while I was stuck in line. When I finally reached the window, the girl working there looked tired and sleepy. I mentioned that our order had gotten cold, and she just smiled, offering a half-hearted apology without even offering to replace my cold fries. This lack of customer care was really frustrating. It made me wonder why places like In-N-Out always have busy lines but not Carl's Jr. or even McDonald's. After a little research, I found that In-N-Out pays its employees better and has higher quality control over their food, which might explain the difference. In the end, I didn't get what I paid for, and the experience was disappointing. Given the poor service and the lack of attention to order details, this will likely be my last visit to this Carl's Jr. location. If you're looking for fast food with better customer service and food quality, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Currently dining in, food is terrible. Double CB and fries and it’s bad. Burger is warm but all I taste is the stale bun which smells like Playdough. Fries are cold and so multicolored from old oil. Not the Carl’s Jr I remember. Will never return. Don’t even want my money back, you guys need it

Got a California Classic Combo. This combo was $5.99 last month. Now it’s over $8 and almost $10 with taxes. This meal did not get $3 better. As a matter of fact it’s gotten terrible. I got my meal and it looked like someone sat on it. Hardly any lettuce and over cooked fries. Super disappointed. Go to In-N-out. Better and consistent. And without the crazy price hikes.

This morning, I decided to have breakfast at Carl’s Jr., arriving at approximately 8:30 a.m. The restaurant appeared nice and clean, including the restrooms. The dining area was well-maintained, and although the television wasn’t working, it didn’t affect my experience. While enjoying my meal, I observed the staff at work. I noticed the manager on duty advising a team member to take her 10-minute break, which she did. However, when she returned to her workstation, she did not wash her hands before putting on her drive-through headset. Immediately afterward, she reached into the fry tray, took several fries, and ate them in front of the registers. When we made eye contact, she appeared hesitant and then stepped out of view near the drive-through window. Shortly after, she returned and again took fries and hashbrowns directly from the serving area. This behavior continued, and it gave the impression that such actions were acceptable. I found this concerning and unprofessional, especially considering food safety and hygiene standards. I brought the matter to the attention of the manager on duty, suggesting that the employee, Kim/Kimberly, be reminded of proper food handling protocols. I also informed him that I would be leaving a review regarding my visit today. Have a great day!
