Opinions de Feeling Kinds Kozy Fishkill
This place was fantastic. We got there at kind of a weird time (4pm on a weekday) and there was no one visible in the restaurant except us and our waiter—admittedly, the vibe was kind of strange at first. However the waiter was absolutely delightful—friendly, attentive, and very classy. With the empty restaurant we weren’t sure what to expect of the food, but we got the penne a la vodka and the Cuban sandwich and they were both so good! When he set our plates down the waiter said, “here is your delicious food,” and he was absolutely right . Huge portions too, for not a bad price! All around highly recommended, let’s fill those seats Fishkill!
We had dinner here Saturday night. We arrived around 8:00 and were quickly seated. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait at prime time on a weekend. I ordered the Scallops special and my companion ordered the Chicken parm. Both were outstanding. They came out piping hot and not from sitting under the heat lamp. The scallop special was served on a bed of mashed cauliflower with fresh cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and green beans. It was truly fabulous. The chicken parm was served with penne pasta. No bread or salad came with the meals which I thought odd, but the servings were generous and we left full. I ordered the ricotta pistachio cake to go for dessert. It was ok. A bit small for $12 but tasted ok. The special ran $35 and the Parm was $23. The server was attentive without hovering. I don’t typically give 5 stars as I’m notoriously hard to please but this place was great. I’ll probably go again tonight since i’m still in town.
The Cozy Burger was delicious: grass fed beef with garlic aioli, Muenster, arugula, and bacon; Served with perfect fries and surprisingly not too heavy. The service was great and the patio, well, cozy. Also recommend the coquito as an after dinner drink. Prices were reasonable.
We stumbled on this restaurant looking for a place to eat. We were greated with warm smiles. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the bar and menu. The barkeep gave my wife a generous sample of a craft beer which was very good. Our meal was very well prepared and served with great timing. It is a fairly small place but huge on customer service. I encourage anyone finding themselves in Fishkill NY to stop in and enjoy themselves. You will see why we plan on returning
Food was stellar, atmosphere was clean and cozy. Incredibly well run place. Javier was classy and professional and Chef Jones did a great job with our dishes. Can’t recommend this place enough. It was my first time eating here and I think it will be a frequent stop for me since I live so close
Kinda Kozy is a local gem to the Fishkill area. This bar/restaurant provides comfort food and cocktails. The menu is large and diverse with something delicious for every pallet. Waitstaff and Bartenders are very accommodating and provide outstanding customer service. The wide variety of live music is a great way to spend Friday or Saturday Evenings. It is an affordable outing for individuals and families. The outside deck is also great for date night. I have been to Kinda Kozy many times on various times/days of the week and have always felt welcome and happy to be there!
Great spot! Loved the food for brunch and the cocktail. I got the spinach feta wrap and I think the name was hugh cocktail.
The mushroom crostini appetizers was excellent. The regular and veggie Burger were very good but the fries were a bit too salty for me. Wife had side salad instead which was very good.
Was meeting up w/friends & needed a 1/2 way point. I picked Feeling kinda Kozy randomly, & what a great choice it was! It was a very nice quaint place, food was delicious & our waiter was wonderful. Price was not crazy either. Would go again.
A group of us met there for dinner last night. The service was excellent, the food yummy and, to our surprise, there was a trivia event! We had the best time! An all around fun night! Be sure to try the chocolate mousse - absolutely delicious!
I looked at the menu before I came in and had decided to order the chicken masala before seeing a pretty brutal review of it here on Google. So I’m here to set the record straight: The mashed potatoes are delectable, fluffy and delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and well cooked. The masala sauce was delightful and wasn’t much different from any other Masala sauce you’d get at a 4 star Italian stop. I will give the other reviewer a small nod- the green beans were overly salty - but in no way did this take away from the dish. I also sampled the penne alla vodka and it was very good- although again another standard Italian dish. Would return. Would get the masala. Do it!!
I just went to this restaurant with my boyfriend last night and we absolutely loved it. He had been there twice before and couldn’t say enough how good the food was so I had to try it. My boyfriend had the nachos and penne alla vodka and I had the quesadilla and also the penne all vodka with chicken. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who served us because he was AMAZING and so sweet!! We sat outside first but when it got a little too cold, he allowed us to come inside and sit at another table so we were warm. He was very attentive and kind and I would go back again anytime. I can’t wait to go back and try another menu item because it all looks so good!!
We were 5 women [ friends for 50 + years & coming from various directions] & needed a midpoint restaurant for our annual LONG luncheon. SOO glad we chose Feelin' Kinda Cozy ! Service was great, as was the food, and they let us stay in a cozy corner for quite a few hours. It was a lovely reunion for dear friends made even more memorable by the welcoming ambiance of the restaurant. Thank You, Feelin' Kinda Cozy ! Would definitely recommend this establishment.
Stopped in here with some family and sat at the bar. Very friendly staff. The place lives up to its name, and it feels very cozy inside. Food was excellent. Glad we found this place on our travels!
Good food, nice and atmosphere. Got the chicken pot pie and it was very good. White chicken breast chunks, vegetable vegetables, a flaky home made crust and just enough spice. Perogies appetizer was very good and my rasberry Martini were top notch. I will be back!
Amazing experience! The crab cakes were my favorite part, huge chunks of crab, delicious, perfectly cooked. Sorry no photo - we ate them too quickly! We ordered the specials, everything was great and the portions were generous. My only regret is we were too full to order dessert! Atmosphere was great also, I actually found myself saying out loud that I felt cozy haha. Our waitress was so friendly and kind. When she found out we were visiting from out of town she was quick to tell us what else was available to do in town. Overall we had a great time and our experience at Feeling Kinda Kozy makes us excited to plan a future trip back to Fishkill.
I always write my reviews with honesty. This restaurant deserves more appreciation. The service was well off, Javier has the specialty of costumer service and seems to really enjoy serving us. Besides the service the restaurant is very clean, neat and good with lighting. Compliments to the chef, each dish is full with flavor and memorable in taste. I went with my parents and they were more than satisfied. Please do give Feeling Kinda Kozy the recognition and appreciation they deserve. You will not regret the time spent.
Had a nice night out, drinks were great and my wife had the lobster Mac and cheese which was excellent.
Adorable bar and magnificent bartender Amber with Creative drinks. Food was filling and tasteful! Walked out of the Dutchess Bier Garden nearby because of terrible service- saw the Kozy sign and felt welcomed immediately.
We were 4 couples celebrating our husbands 60th birthdays. I made the reservations with Javier who was so nice and helpful from the beginning. The food was great! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Javier was very attentive from taking our orders through to the end of our visit. Just a very comfortable place with great food. Highly recommend this place!
I arrived with a guest on a Sunday around 4ish. We sat at the bar and a small party group was leaving (saw balloons, all left at the same time) and dining room was completely empty, one other person at the bar and soon a few more guests would arrive. We ordered a Rum tropical drink and an Espresso Martini made and served by Tristen with some waters. All extremely good! Price was fair. Ordered the Mushroom appetizer with Feta Cheese (outstanding!). Entrees we had a Brioche Bun Brisket Burger and Chicken Bacon Wrap. Both were very good and priced fair. i had one refill on my rum drink. Service was very good, attentive, conversational, professional and polite. We did not wait at all for drinks and food. Bill was $80. Overall ambiance was nice, new modern everything after a two yr old renovation. TVs at the bar, Spacious Dining room and small outside eating area. Thank you to the bartend for the hospitality and consideration. She's great! Great experience and i highly recommend!!
Update: We received a very professional phone call from the owner who was unaware of the errors/issues. He was very sincere and offered to make it right. For this, we have updated our star rating. Although the experience wasn’t the greatest for us at the time, we are grateful for the offer of amends and will return. Happy to report that my family and I gathered once again and the experience and the food were both phenomenal. We will add this to our date night rotation for sure!
We drove 40 min to dine at this location- and we plan on coming back every day if we could ! Amazing food - drinks were perfectly made. Service was top notch- probably the best we’ve ever had. Our server was kind - professional- knew exactly when he was needed. The place is very clean . Very cute. Very friendly.
Kinda kozy is exactly that!! Food is fresh and delicious. They have allergy options. The service is great. Prices are normal and a great hidden gem!!
went here with my girlfriend and we thought it was so nice. quiet drinks were hittin nice food tasted great you know i like me a good burger 💪 lol def recommend!
Fantastic food. Great service. Friendly atmosphere.
The restaurant was very clean. The wait for food was better than normal. Everything we had was super fresh. If I lived near here, I would eat weekly here. The man who served us, who may have been the owner, was so sweet. It is a fabulous place and I will be going here again in my future.
Alex and the staff were wonderful and so accommodating. Had a private party here and it was the best. We brought our own karaoke equipment, Alex supplied the screen for the projector. The full bar and food added to the magical night. Everyone agreed it was a fabulous time, which would not have been if it wasn’t for Alex, the staff, food and drinks.
Izabella and Lexi were awesome!!! Will definitely be going back
I came here for lunch with my parents and we had a great time! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service and food was impressive! My mom took forever to eat her food because it was “too beautiful”. Special thanks to our waiter Javier for the fantastic and personable service!
Went in on a Saturday night after a long motorcycle ride with my buddy. Was greeted by a wonderful bartender named Emily. She knew her whiskey and was very hospitable. She sold us on burgers and we were not disappointed!!!!! Great place to drink, eat and relax. Will definitely go back
The food was terrific. Makes us want to come back and explore the small town. Had a sausage app on a bed of chickpeas... fantastic... had a mac and cheese with chicken main course plate.... fantastic.... both had desserts.... fantastic.
Located on Main Street Fishkill, Feeling Kinda Kozy offers comforting dishes with a modern twist in a warm and inviting atmosphere. From crispy calamari to grilled ribeye steak, each bite delights. Don't miss their decadent chocolate lava cake. Perfect for a cozy night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The staff on Mondays keeps me coming back.
Went here on a Thursday night with a large party of 11. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was open mic night, but everyone who performed was great; they and our table were really getting into it. The food is also both unique and very tasty. Highly recommended! :)
First time here under the new ownership. Forget your preconceived notions on Kozy being just a bar with bar food. The new owners have minimalized the menu to a FOODIES delight. The Crostini would rival any NYC 5 star restaurant. Perfectly plated and taste exceeded the look. The service, Javier, and atmosphere is outstanding. The place in Fishkill for a place for a drink or for dinner for those that love great food. Will definitely be back sooner than later.
A beautiful simple little restaurant with great food. For lunch I had an excellent burger and fries, my spouse loved the onion soup and veal cutlet special, and our friend raved about the chicken wrap. And the key lime pie for dessert was really flavorful! Our server Grazia was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!
Love this restaurant me and my wife come frequently. Lexi and Grazia are awesome they chatted with us served us drink brought us wings. Absolutely wonderful experience. If you’re in the Fishkill area stop in. We are locals so we are always around.
Cute place, food was really good. Atmosphere was nice but seemed like they were trying hard to make it upscale and fancy, with curtains covering the bathroom doors, but really just looked a bit off.
Had the Chicken Valdosta and the fried calamari, both were excellent. Love this place.
Food was great and first time visit. Our waitress (whose name escapes me at the moment) I want to say Graziella was so helpful and pleasant assured us great quality with service and food. Next time we're going to try the lunch menu.
Amazing food. Quant atmosphere. Very European cafe feeling place. Well worth the visit. Also, Paola is an amazing waitress and entertained us with our broken French and Italian pronunciation with plenty of grace. Come and enjoy the place.
We came for brunch/lunch on a Sunday morning. It wasn't too busy and we were able to be quite quickly. Our waitress was attentive and very service-oriented. We were super impressed with the Kozy Burger, very tasty. Great food, service and atmosphere. Definitely will recommend this spot to visiting friends, and we'll for sure be back!
This is becoming my hangout spot with my bestie. Good food, good service, and a great happy hour. I always feel welcome, the price is right and everything tastes delicious!
Wanted to try a new spot in the Fishkill area and stumbled upon Feeling Kinda Kozy. I could not have been happier! The food was delicious, cooked to perfection, and had great portions. The wait staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The atmosphere was wonderful and definitely fit the "kozy" vibe. I will be going back as soon as I can.... a must try for sure!
- The best chicken wings I ever had. Crazy. Unexpected. Something is done very right in the kitchen to make them extremely crispy outside and juicy inside. We got three orders of wings (7 per order) with various sauces - all were great. Also, if anyone cares, wings did not sit under the lamp as it happens in other places. - Cannot recommend crab cakes. Too mushy oddly. Maybe they weren’t cooked through I’m thinking now. But…whatever. - Good beer selection. - Very nice people working there. The lady at the bar was welcoming and personable. The waiter was great as well.
Food is very flavorful, atmosphere makes you feel legit cozy yet elegant at the same time. Service is amazing, Grazia is the best! Hands down!
Really good food with fresh ingredients. Definitely try the roasted pepper and tomato soup finished with a touch of sour cream, drizzled of evoo and Parmigiano croutons and the Bell and Evans Roasted airline chicken breast served with mashed potato and Sautéed spinach laced with a rosemary infused pan jus sauce. Delicious and the perfect meal for a cold winter night.
I’ve been recommended to try Feeling Kinda Kozy many times by close friends and finally made the trip to the restaurant and was blown away. Our server, Grazia, was by far the most attentive and friendliest member of the team that got our party sat down outside and made sure everything was perfect. Our group took our time over the course of dinner on a Saturday night and left incredibly satisfied. We order rounds of espresso martinis with a bit of customization to them and never was poured an inconsistent drink. Water (& martini) glasses never empty and food came out in time to enjoy with the sunset. What’s more is that the food was phenomenal. Pictures are the (must have) watermelon salad, mushroom truffle rice balls, fried zucchini, burger, and lobster macaroni & cheese. We were so full but had to take on dessert that was also served timely towards the end of our night. The coconut shell ice cream, key lime pie and carrot cake were crowd favorites. Sitting outside on their patio area was probably the best treat on a summer night. If you have an upcoming trip in Fishkill, stop by Feeling Kinda Kozy. You won’t be disappointed!!! Edit: Go for brunch and get the feta spinach wrap and French toast. You won’t be disappointed!
Went here 2 days ago for an early birthday celebration for my husband. It was my second visit but the first for my family. We were all very pleased. The ambiance is exactly as the name suggests, a kinda cozy vibe throughout. We started with the sweet chilli wings as the appetizer and we all agree that they were the best wings we've ever had. Super crispy without even a hint of being burnt. The entrees: burger, lobster mac and cheese, penne ala vodka with chicken, and fish and chips, were all very good. The only complaint was that the chicken in the penne seemed processed. Desserts and coffee were also good. Overall, this is a great spot for the perfect balance between nice enough for a special occasion, but affordable enough for a regular day out. We'll be back!
I absolutely love coming here! Every time I come it makes me feel like I am not in dutchess county. Grazia is beyond amazing. Her drinks are always 10/10 and the service is amazing. The food is so good and never disappoints. Their espresso martinis are the best drink they serve! I come so often because they never disappoint! The staff is so friendly and always make me feel like I’m at home. Always a pleasure coming into kinda kozy. I recommend everyone to come and so should you for any occasion.
We went there for restaurant week to try someplace new. Very cute and clean the staff was very friendly. We would definitely go back. I had a delicious pumpkin espresso martini!
Went for dinner with my friends last night and it was excellent. We all had the Sole special which was delicious and perfect portions. We also shared dessert key lime cheese cake also delicious. Will definitely be going back. Our waiter was a very nice young man, I didn’t ask his name but was a great conversationalist and very attentive.
Let me just start by saying, Grazia is an amazing bartender and server. We often make a point of coming in when she is here because of how enjoyablethe experience is with her. My fiance and I come in semi-regularly. We moved to Fishkill a few months ago and are so glad we found a place that we truly enjoy. The conversation, the atmosphere. We love it here. The food is great. Good for lunch or dinner, anything on the menu is a good choice. Definitely worth a try if you haven't yet.
I came into Feeling Kinda Kozy after my long 9 hour shift and I decided to sit at the bar. The bartender (I wish I got her name) but she was the sweetest person to speak to as her, the other gentleman at the bar, and I indulged in a conversation. Soon, I decided to order the Truffle Rice Balls and omg, they were to DIE for. The presentation was phenomenal and the food tasted even better, there was a server (she had reddish/orange-ish hair) that stopped by to fill pitchers of water and even she had a bubbly personality. Overall, I had a great first experience here. Would most definitely be coming back :)
My husband and I are just visiting. We chose to eat here and, to say the least, we were not disappointed. I ordered the Kozy burger and my husband ordered the Philly. The food was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. If we lived here, I think this would be our go-to spot. I definitely recommend!
Fancier than the name and outside vibe makes you think! We were pleasantly surprised by how great the food was . The only dish we didn't adore was the penne alla vodka which was tasty but not what you'd expect from ordering that dish. The paella was amazing as was the lamb and the mac and cheese. Good spot overall and our server was very sweet.
After hearing so many good reviews about Feeling Kinda Kozy, I finally tried it! Let’s just say this- it did not disappoint. Immediately when I walked in, I felt the welcoming atmosphere. The dining room is cozy but perfect for lunch with a friend or date night. I was with a party of 5 and they accommodated us wonderfully. Our server, Grazia, was truly impeccable! She tended to every need we had and answered all of our questions. The food was served fast and tasted absolutely DELICIOUS. You can order anything on the menu and be totally pleased with its taste. We ordered the Truffle Fries (A MUST-HAVE!), Fish and Chips, Chicken Parmigiana, Lobster Mac N’ Cheese, and the Farro Salad with grilled chicken. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. Since the lunch was so delicious, we had to try dessert… which was just as perfect! The carrot cake is also a must-have along with the sorbet. The chocolate cake is also to die for! Feeling Kinda Kozy is one of the best quality restaurants in Fishkill, if not the best!
Incredible food, delicious taste, beautiful presentation, clean and cozy atmosphere. Service was 1000/10. I had their Lobster Mac entree. As a mac and cheese enthusiast and maker, this was hands down the best mac and cheese I have ever tasted. The cheese was extremely cheesy, creamy, and stringy; had the meatiest lobster pieces I have ever seen and lots of it; and such a delicious taste. Highly recommend.
Popped in while visiting from Houston for a wedding and was not disappointed! An adorably cute place and well ran! Reasonably priced food/drinks with fresh ingredients. The crab cakes were a bit heavy with the filler and the risotto wasn't quite to my standard but everything was flavorful and the carrot cake was heavenly! Never have I had such a beautiful old fashioned and made perfectly to boot! And the staff is so lovely that my friend and I hated to leave at the end of the night! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant and would most definitely return if visiting again!
Being here was a great experience. My burger was cooked over flame ( the way a burger should be cooked), and it was perfectly delicious. I had a cup of coffee, with my lunch, which was made from fresh roasted beans. It was strong, but not bitter. The Host had a great personality which added to a great eating experience.
I stopped at "Feeling Kinda Kozy" on a Tuesday night in August. The atmosphere was nice and even though it was quiet when I got to the bar (6 PM) more people came by later on. The bartender had been amazing. Even if she was the only one making drinks and serving tables/bar she was always ready to answer any questions about dishes and drinks. Even though she did an amazing job, I suggest to have two people, at least, in order to make the service more smooth. That would be fair on the bartender and the customers as well. Food was incredible, I got the burrata and you can see how great it looked from the pics. Will definitely stop there again next time in town.
This Kozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, Xavier was very polite and attentive, provide us prompt service, delicious dishes, great music, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend this place to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
The name definitely suits this cute little place and the warm and welcoming staff. Went here with my husband on a date night and was pleasantly surprised. The burgers were delicious and the Margaritas were on point! So good!
Great food but kind of on the loud side. I read other reviews stating that the bar area is small, but the restaurant is nice and cozy. Maybe because we went on a Friday night, it was more of a bar crowd than I expected. The food was really great and the servers were very friendly. I enjoyed the experience. I wouldn't say "Kozy" but definitely great.
The service was wonderful and so was the restaurant’s aesthetic. The food was plated beautifully. The wings were insanely delicious and the sauce was wonderful. My only recommendation is that the restaurant start using homemade blue cheese and ranch dressing or using Marie’s dressing to go with their wings. The Kozy salad with shrimp was good, the vinagrette was great. I would recommend trying this place. Next time I go back I would definitely try the drinks with an order of sweet chili wings.
Cute spot- definately Kozy! Good food and good service. One of the very few places with a simple classic dessert menu. (Yes its good- why mess with a good thing?) We had the apple crumble. This is right on Main street so parking can be a little funky. There are a few spaces in back though around the way. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Last visit was terrible. Party of 7. Waitresses were rude and grouchy. We all got the distinct impression they were under the influence of something. (One of our party is an expert on that sort of thing). Our party has decided not to come back any time soon. Get it together- this was extremely disappointing.
I bookmarked this place a while back when looking for a quick bite. Glad I finally got to visit. The place is located on Main St in Fishkill just off Route 9. I paired the delicious 'Main Street Burger (Bacon, Egg & Cheese toppings) with a Wolf Pup Session IPA which hit the spot and left me sleepy. ;-). Great service.
The first time I dined, I absolutely loved it. The second time I dined, I only liked it. The last time I dined, I loved it again. I’m not sure if it was the day or the chef in the kitchen. All I know is that the next time I dine, I will order what I know to be delicious. Mushroom crostini Chicken with mashed potatoes Lobster omelette Spinach feta omelette in a wrap Any drink from the bar
Upon entering, you really feel kinda kozy with a lively bar and nice music. We originally went there for the fish and chips but did not order it b/c they had no malt vinegar?!?! I’m sorry, by that is just wrong. We ordered the chicken parm and Philly cheesesteak which were good but the menu read ‘hand cut fries’ and they were not even close to hand cut. The staff was lovely and so is the restaurant but have to give it a four not a five star review
A bit of a bumpy start, we were told they were booked solid and would have difficulty accommodating a five top. Hostess really needs to get over herself a bit pretentious. Finally got seated. There was only one other table occupied the whole time we were there. If you're gonna bullshit about how many reservations you have, you better back it up with fact. Aside from the hostess, the rest of the weight staff went above and beyond, making us comfortable.
Kind of disappointing and expensive. Veal cutlets was dry and hardly edible . Supposed to be their special. Waitress brought me some one else's meal. Wrong number of cofees. Like she did not have a clue or was not trained yet.
Amazing work up from the old sandwich shop that was there before. The bar is cozy maybe even a little tight, but if you have a seat, comfortable. The burger was good but the bun must go. Please use a nice potato roll or some such other similar bun. The bartender knew everyone, except us it seemed, which made this a little difficult getting her attention. Probably worth another try though, I will follow up.
The Empanadas were incredible. The Gyro was incredible. The French fries were incredible. The chocolate peanut butter pie was incredible. The Pumpkin Imperial was incredible. The waitress was incredible. Why are you still reading this? Go. Now. Update: Unfortunately, I'm downgrading my review. New owners took over Kinda Kozy and it's now very different. The menu has been reduced rather significantly, and while the food is still good, it's undergone some aesthetic changes that has left the restaurant... Kinda Faceless. The redecorating of the dining room and bar is fine, but there's just no personality anymore.
I went here with my family for dinner. Our waitress was great. We were a group of 4, two kids and two adults. The food was just okay. I’m not sure what was going on in the kitchen but we were waiting at least an hour for our food. The restaurant was not full so it was not due to there being a high volume of customers. Our waitress was very apologetic and the bartender also came over and offered us some bread and butter while we waited. The bread came out toasted, not sure why unless it was stale. The food overall was bland, not a lot of seasoning. I will say the rice ball special with mushrooms was delicious and even my kids ate them.
I stopped in for lunch and there was only one other person sitting at the bar. The bartender gave me a menu and proceeded to handle other matters for about 25 minutes. She walked up to the other person at the bar asking them if they needed anything else. She followed that up with telling me "she would be right with me" then walked into the other room to do something else. I was ready to order 5 minutes after looking at the menu. I walked out. I'm leaving a two-star review because the food did look good according to the menu. Wish I could have tried it.
We are so disappointed in the food. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I ordered the octopus over chickpeas for $19. I was presented with one small very chewy tenticle over about $.50 of chickpeas. Our waitress arranged for us to have 2 shots of disorono for after the meal which was very nice. My husband ordered the cozy burger which was super salty as was the over cooked French fries $17. I had the corn salad which was very nicely dressed and presented. We asked for coffee and was brought milk that curdled when it hit the coffee. Ordered dessert and the chocolate mousse cake tasted like refrigerator and the homemade keylime pie was dence and did not have the flavor of keylime, the menu stated that it would come with real whipped cream but tasted like it came from a can. The menu was very promising, but the delivery was sloppy at best. Not sure if I would want to gamble $85. Again.
Service was great! Food is eh, nothing too great especially for the prices. Don’t get the burrata appetizer. Comes with ONE little slice of toast, kinda cheap, and then you are just left with a ball of cheese. The rice balls are also blah, and they’re just three little dense balls with no flavor, except from the spicy mayo or whatever they put on top.
Went with family for Mothers Day last night. Absolutely terrible. Felt bad for the waiter. I ordered chicken Marsala which was overly salty with side of Brussels sprouts which were boiled and no taste. Needless to say I wound up not eating sent my meal back. My brother in law ordered ribeye medium rare. Came out well done which waiter took back. His new steak was raw and cold, he didn’t eat either. Best meal was my daughters burger which isn’t saying much. Only 1 other table when we arrived so can’t blame it on being busy. Have been in restaurant business and as I said not our waiters fault so tipped him well even though 2 of us didn’t eat and left hungry
The drinks and polenta fries were great. The sauce with fries was tarter. It was thick and gross. The burgers were frozen patties that were over cooked. I ordered medium well and friend ordered medium. Both were very well done and dry. I got main street burger. Ordered the egg over easy. It was over hard. The bun was wet. Not edible. I took one bite. The waitress was nice enough but saw I ate nothing and didn't even ask me if I didn't like it or what the problem was. So, after my cut of the bull I paid $30 for one drink and one polenta fry. I left hungry and had to go pay even more money. Won't be going back.
If you want to be nickeled and dimed this is the place to go. Should have know better when all the other restaurants has customers but this one was empty. The bartender was the only good thing about this place. We ordered a burger with a no gluten bun and a gyro. The burger bun was so hard we couldn’t even break it. The gyro was ok but extremely bland. Bar tender said she would take the burger off the bill ok then came back and said the owner wants to do %50 off burger instead no big deal we were just going to have them. Take the bun up charge off. We get the bill and noticed the $16 burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles was $24. Then %50 off to make it $12. The math didn’t add up. $16 burger $3 up charge for bun, $2 up charge for pickles (really adding an egg was less ). Gives you $21 I asked what the other $3 was for. She said $1each lettuce, Tom, onion. I showed her it’s included on the burger per the menu. Nope they charge for everything even though the menu clearly says it’s on it. Then $2 coke refills on a small glass must be hurting that bad to charge that. It’s only a few dollars but don’t wrongly charge people. Wonder how many more people have been scammed.
This was quite literally the worst meal we’ve had in the last 5 years, for both me and my girlfriend. We ordered the grilled octopus, it was so tough and rubbery I could not cut through it. My ‘ribeye’ was the worst steak I have ever had, period; rubbery and tasteless. My girlfriend’s chicken..terrible. What should have been a quiet evening with great food (the place was empty) became nothing short of a waste of money. Very disappointed.
The staff was friendly and a pretty relaxed atmosphere, but the food was to be desired. My husband had gotten the fish and chips, the fish was rubbery and stringy like the fish was frozen before they battered it. I myself had gotten a special and it was extremely salty. Also no free refills on soda, 2.25 for 6oz. Kinda feels like they are trying to be upscale, but can’t quite reach.
Don’t normal put reviews but this messed up my entire night last night. Our drinks didn’t come out for 30 minutes. Our appetizer took 40 minutes and my burger took almost 1 hour. The servers were very polite about the situation but overall, probably won’t be going back.
Did not like our experience here. Food was not good. Kitchen was extremely slow. Should have left and gone to another restaurant. Wasn't just our table, either - there was another table nearby where it was clear that the diners were very unhappy and the kitchen didn't know how to handle it. Our server was very young and inexperienced, so we didn't have the best service, but props to him for trying so hard, definitely not his fault! Atmosphere was okay, I suppose - looks nice but music was awful and intrusive. When we saw how empty the dining room was it should have clued us in about what to expect. Even more baffling that the kitchen was so slow with so few patrons. Regret that we ate here when there are so many other dining options nearby.
