Another fantastic evening at BC Bistro! The food was fresh and delicious. I had the scallop special—perfectly pan-seared scallops served over pasta with a light scampi sauce and sweet cherry tomatoes. Every bite was full of flavor. My fiancé ordered the stuffed shrimp, which was another standout dish—beautifully prepared and generously portioned. For dessert, we shared the strawberry almond torte, which, as always, was outstanding. Light, flavorful, and the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal. BC Bistro never disappoints!

Finally got here! I've lived in town the majority of my life and have enjoyed the bakery throughly. The pastries are magnificent. A well crafted art that keeps improving. Very glad they expanded into the restaurant. Didn't have room for dessert while at dinner so we grabbed a few treats from the bakery. Park in the lot too the east. Definitely recommend.

We decided to try this place based on a friend who owns a restaurant in Manhattan, she raved about this place and for a compliment like that to come from her , I know it was gonna be good. We had the Chef special shrimp appetizer 3 large shrimp delicious, the salad divided for 2 was plentiful and delicious. Our main courses were Beef short rib & my wife had the Branzino, both were large size with vegetables absolutely delicious. Cookies & Apple cake al a mode to cap things off. Already. Recommended this place to my friends and I will be coming back again shortly.

BC Bistro is that brunch spot where the food is well above your expectations. Walking in, you quickly realize that this small restaurant is connected to the popular Buttercookery bakery, but don't spoil your appetite by gorging on baked sweets. Trust me, save that for for dessert. The bistro's clean, smooth and bright interiors underscore a predilection to quality, which is quickly evidenced in the plating and presentation of this unassuming Long Island eatery. Service was also prompt and unpretentious, which I'd imagine goes great when packed with families on weekends. We overheard a server talking about weekly events such as a trivia night and music night, which do feel more dive bar, but are great pulls for the local community. If you're coming for brunch, and partial to meat, the Buttermilk biscuits are a pleasant surprise. The New Orleans style dish is drenched in a savory sauce with chunks of bacon, peppers, and green onions to enhance the flavor profile. The Chicken and Waffles were in the same category. While the waffles were a bit dull from a flavor profile, the chicken was light, with a crunchy, buttermilk coating preceding little succulent bites. It would have been great to try the Belgian Waffles to see if they held up the same. The Meat Lovers Omelette came complete with a light arugula salad and almost perfectly melted cheddar cheese. Admittedly, while picturesque, if fell apart easily, but only because it was stuffed with bites of mouth-watering bacon, ham, and sausage. You'd be pressed to muster any complaints about this dish. Our only qualm, if this could be one is the servers aren't overly attentive (not unique to this restaurant). Some people prefer it this way, and it's certainly not a deal breaker. That said, it did take over four minutes to get the attention of a server to request ketchup, and the venue wasn't exactly packed on our last visit. All in all, if you're looking for a low-hassle brunch spot near Queens Village or Floral Park that is family-friendly and has better than advertised food, you can do far worse than BC Bistro. The cuisine is decidedly American, and at least for brunch isn't experimental. Which means they are cranking out tried and true favorites the whole family will recognize immediately and appreciate while dining.

Great dining experience at this newly opened Bistro in New Hyde Park. Exceptional service from our waiter James. Very nicely prepared meals, leave room for dessert the tres leches cake is magnificent. As an added bonus fantastic music from Richard the musician bring you significant other for date night or the whole family.

My family and I took a whim on this place and trusted their Google reviews. I'm glad we did. The place is nice, clean with a very nice ambiance. Service was quick, friendly staff, nice music. I took the advice of comments on their Instagram page and their recommendations and ordered the risotto balls, clams, tuna tartar and beef dumplings for appetizers. Entrées were the strip steak, ahi tuna and short ribs. I have to tell you, their food is really, really good! My son got their tartufo for dessert and I had the tres leche. Hubby had a cappuccino. All good feedback. Prices are fair. The entrees are on the higher end but do-able. I hear they serve brunch. I'd like to come back and try. There are many other dishes I'd like to taste as well. They host events and have Italian night Thursdays and offer live music. We will certainly be coming back again.

I cannot express enough how amazing the BC Bistro team is. I hosted an event for my sister’s bridal shower here and every single guest was raving about the party. From the specular service to the amazing food. The catering menu was amazing so I am sure if you get the full menu it will be even better. Mock-tails were served since we do not drink alcohol. The cake was spectacular. The atmosphere is great for events, brunch, lunch, dinner or even a date night. James, the manager is the most friendliest, accommodating, and easy to work with person. Also, they provided a live musician who played the guitar with song requested by the guests. The staff helped me set up the party, served the guests well and helped clean up. Thank you to all the employees who made this the best bridal shower my sister could’ve had. We will definitely be returning back soon.

This was the second time there for dinner. We had the special egg roll and mussels for appetizer. Very tasty and fresh. Main course was short ribs which my girlfriend had for the 2nd time and I had the roasted duck. Both were cooked well and delicious. Overall place is quite nice and waitstaff is excellent.

Wow! Top notch service and quality of food! I love the Bistro and have been coming here since they opened I believe almost 2 years now. Tonights dinner was incredible. We had the special. Not shown below but the seafood egg rolls were OMG. Pictured is the special handmade pasta that served a fresh lobster tail, sea scallops and shrimp (cooked to perfection). For dessert we had the tres leches cake and pictured the pitashio trefulo (I believe that’s what it is called). Wow! My fav items I personally usually get is the Lobster Linguine but I like to put vodka sauce on it. Amazing. The Cesar salad is soo good as well as the Calamari. It’s crispy and not fishy at all! My fiancé gets the vodka pasta and the beef short ribs. Honestly everything is delicious. The service is 100%. We are treated like family when we come. Jimmy and James are soo sweet. Their service is so genuine. Steve is so awesome. He makes you feel at home at the bar and makes great drinks. The Bistro is a cute cozy upscale restaurant with soft lightening and music. Expect the best when you walk in! ❤️

We went on a Saturday night so reservations are a must. We ordered lamb chops, tuna and duck breast. Everything tasted good but it could have been delicious. The problem was it came out luke warm and the duck was raw in the center. We ordered rare not raw. Portions were ample. Lamb chops were the best dish. Good for a special occasion because it's pricey.

Came here for a family event on a weekend day. The staff were very kind and constantly checked in on our party. Food was good overall although the vodka sauce could have used more salt and the salads were unevenly distributed ingredients-wise (some people ended up with 3 tomatoes and others 14)! Drinks were good. Appetizers included pizza and arancini. I had never had arancini but it was amazing and I would come back for them alone. Their calamari was also good. We also enjoyed the rib roast and mashed potatoes. For dessert they had a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting from their bakery. It was a bit dense and the frosting a touch too sweet. Portions were good and we took home leftovers. Staff were very professional and the restaurant has a nice ambience, although it can get loud with a crowd based on the smaller dining area. Their bathroom was very clean. Free parking is tough so depends on your luck on surrounding residential streets - there's paid parking lot across the street.

BC Bistro feels like a fine dining experience in a nice space that spacious but bustling. Pretty ceiling molding and light colors reminds you of being in a restaurant by the water. The lamb chops were a good portion with light sides of spinach and risotto. The special was a South American sea bass with a nice tomato puree; it was on the dry side. The Beef Ribs was a large portion with mashed potatoes and carrots; it was tasty. Don't know the area well but it seems like a good option if looking for a higher end dining experience with decent food.

I can't recommend for a visit Was here to celebrate my friend's Birthday. The place has more than 4.5 ⭐ so we thought, why not. The place was 10% occupied, but it took a while for the food to be ready More to that, we ordered $50 filet minions for 3 of us, the server asked how to cook the meet, so we told him medium, but all 3 steaks were Well done 🙂‍↔️ He took the steaks back and brought steaks that were twice smaller, not good for 50 bucks meal. On the positive side, the salad and the fish were good. At the checkout we were told that there is a mark-up for parties over 5, which is good to know. So overall not the worst place, but I didnt like it and can't recommend.
