From the moment that you walk through the door you are greeted by the wafting aromas of freshly baked pies and smiles with friendly service. They take great pride in their food and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed their pie and chicken francese it was worth the trip with the bus and train. The chicken was moist, tender and bathing in a tangy buttery sauce that was savory and rich. The pizza was juicy with ripe tomato sauce, tangy cheese and oil on a thin crust. They are in business 50 years and you can taste the dedication that they put into each of their dishes carefully crafted with love that's amore!

Pizza is excellent. Just the right mix of sauce and cheese. Last time I went it was a little doughy as they were rushing pies out of the oven as they're always busy so it was just okay. However normally it's usually one of the best in town so I will still give the 5 stars and next time expect nicely crisp slices.

Boy let me tell you if you’re looking for a some Original Classic Tasting pizza with a family recipe for sauce, then YOU must try Amore in Flushing Queens. My first bite took me back to the old days when pizza real tasted homemade. The thin crust is beautifully hand crafted and light. Go ahead, I dare you. Taste their pizza and tell me I’m lying! I got a second slice to go.

I have been going here since 1982. Nothing has changed. Best pizza in Queens, especially the sauce. Real nice Italian owner Sal and his father . Sal always treats me special because of how I like my Pizza with extra sauce and very hot. Real old school. Cash only. Open late Friday and Saturday is so awesome. Highly recommended if you want a real authentic New York slice. ❤️ My favorite in all of Queens!

This has to be one of the best comfort foods I’ve had ever had. The pizza here is amazing in both favor and texture. With pizza has a nice sweet tomato sauce and a nice crunchy crust. The service we got was very good, they check up on us every once in a while when we were eating. Keeping our table clean by clearing out old plates. It’s a small building but they use the space up well, with a dining area and restrooms. Although the business takes CASH ONLY.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn so pizza is life. I really enjoyed the pizza at Amore. I had a regular slice and a Sicilian slice. Super yummy.

Authentic, unpretentious old-school NY slice. Thin crust, nice sauce, just the right amount of cheese (could use a little more salt, but I like my pizza on the salty side). I especially liked the Sicilian, which was the perfect balance between soft, pillowy top and crispy underside. Also cool that the regular and Sicilian are the same price. Was there at dinnertime and noticed a lot of people ordering entrees, I’ll definitely try a chicken or eggplant parm next time, the baked clams looked really good too. Cash only. No credit, no debit, no Apple Pay, no Zelle, no Venmo!!!

This is one of the better slices in Flushing. They pump out quality slices like a factory. All thr good condiments. Crispy but not burnt undercarriage. Prices are fair and reasonable for a whole pie.

They just raised their price to $4 for a plain cheese slice from $3.50. Still one of my favorite slices in the city, but we'll be looking at $5 a slice in 2027 at this price trajectory.

Something has changed here. I’m from Long Island and we come to amore sometimes because we thought it nearly the best pizza around. But the last two times we recently went, the crust is thicker, less sauce and the cheese seems different also. It isn’t the same amazing pizza it was for so long. Not worth the trip anymore. It’s just basic now, ..same type you can get anywhere …very mediocre.

I used to love amore! it used to be one of my favorite pizzerias in the area until recently. Maybe it was an off day? I ordered a cheese pizza pie and it was so soggy. the entire middle of the pie was extremely soggy, mush and thin where i couldn’t even pick up a slice without it ripping apart. i don’t have a better pic of the slice, but it was a mess to eat.

Been coming here to my favorite neighborhood pizza place since I was a kid. I’m now in my mid 40s and the quality has never changed. Unfortunately when you’re in business you should keep politics out of your business. These guys aren’t smart enough to know that despite being in business as long as they have been. But now I know how they roll. And well I’ll have to take my money elsewhere. And I’m not the only one feeling this way. Boycott
