We couldn’t help us picking up dimsums from their push cart!! haha Everything was freshly made and delicious. It was very crowded, and we waited for the table about 15-20mins. But you would be seated sooner if you don’t mind sharing a table with other group of people. We went to the small shop right front of the building to kill the time. They have a parking lot for customers too. It’s cash only - it was $120 for 4 people. (We ordered too many dimsums…🥴)

Everything so good! Coconut was best and seafood mini pancake (I’m sure I butchered that) but the egg custard bun was… not good… too much oil made my stomach hurt. But everything else was so good

The most delicious dim sum I've ever tried! What a special treat with family, your loved ones or friends. Bring your closest group so you all can enjoy this delectable selection of great food in Flushing, NYC.

We reached asian grandma level of food and cleanliness. Every item was perfectly seasoned, so I didn't even need to add soy sauce. The crispy ribs reminded me of fried chicken from Japan's Lawson's, perfectly crispy outside and impossibly juicy interior (how do they do that?!). The crystal skin on the mushroom dumplings was so thin and aldente, and you definitely don't miss the meat with the insane amount of flavor And textures packed into that one bite. They have outdoor seating now cause of covid. All serviceware was disposable and individually wrapped. The bathrooms look like they are cleaned multiple times a day. Only criticism I can find is the soup dumpling skins could be thinner and some of the dumplings had leaked out soup before coming to table. But soup dumplings kinda remind me of russian roulette, so no big deal, still tasted great anyways.

Went on a Sunday. Be prepared for 30 min wait I’m not going to say it’s the best, but it is the best I’ve had. I’ve never gotten full at a dim sum spot. Get the chive and shrimp. The egg rolls are great too. The broccoli.

More than a year we have not eaten here because during pandemic their dishes not outstanding anymore. Recently we ate there, the dip sum of the dishes pretty good. Orange beef was great, crispy outside, inside the beef very tender.

Traditional dim sum place never disappointed. They have a lots of dishes and various dim sum. Having a parking lot with valet is a big plus in busy Chinatown in flushing. Most of staffs speak english and nice.

Home made tofu 山水豆腐花 must have!! A lot of choices for dim sum and the service is good.

I always loved Asian Jewels. I have been coming here for years but am only now getting around to reviewing it. In my last visit, the food was good as always (though some dishes could have been warmer) and the dim sum carts came around frequently with a good variety of food. What really stood out on this visit, though, was the super-attentive service. We rarely ever had to wait for anything we needed which is a huge accomplishment for a large place that serves the amount of customers they get. Not sure if the stars were aligned or if we just got lucky, but it was a great visit. I am sure we will be back.

Crazy busy dim sum restaurant, so packed with people and cars. Definitely need their valet service, long queue to get in. Once you are in, a huge selection of dim sum to feast on. Come in group else you have limited variety as you can only eat that much. As all Chinese restaurants in the world, it's noisy. We went back for dinner and the place is completely different from morning, much calmer and servers are more attentive.

I thought dim sum palace was the king of all dim sum, but I was wrong. Asian Jewels is my new to go to dim sum. Clean, noisy and damn good fresh dim sum. Get there earlier or you will be waiting for a while to get a seat and driving might be a nightmare in the afternoon since it is in flushing Queens. Again, this is only for dim sum review, I don’t know about lunch or dinner but if it is as good as their dim sum, I don’t think you can go wrong. Price is a bit higher for plate of dim sum but this is nyc, what did you expected?

Amazing spot for dimsum! They have their own parking lot but apparently there are plenty of other general parking lots around too. Came on a Saturday around 11:15pm (two people), and was seated within 15-20min. I had a great time and thought the food and service was fantastic.

S

This place is fantastic every time we come here. They used to be cash only but they just started accepting credit cards. Note that carts are only for the lunch service. This is a traditional dim sum place where they push around carts with all the different dim sum dishes, and they have some more traditional options like beef tripe, chicken feet, soup, all kinds of desserts, as opposed to restaurants that only have soup dumplings and shrimp dumplings.

Edit: came back here as a group of 5 and it was about $35 each with tip. Come in a large group it makes the price per person come down a lot. I really loved coming here but if you come during typical hours for dim sum (especially the weekend) there will be a wait. I came on a Tuesday and there was none. Make sure you know your dim sum or have someone who speaks Mandarin with you. While I understand enough to order there were dishes I wasn't familiar with and it would've been helpful to have been with my friends who are fluent. Overall, the cost isn't so bad. With tip we spent $76 for two people and that's with a large amount of dishes, we probably had 10-12 dishes we picked for food. Service is actually done for dim sum by the traditional carts, which I love, but it also makes it harder to order sometimes. I didn't even get to ask for 豆花 because they never brought that cart to the aisle I was in the hour and some change I was there.

My Dominican family and I gathered at this Dim Sum in Flushing on a Saturday to reconnect and have a good time. My wife being Chinese wanted to introduce them to Dim Sum style eating and I picked the place. Boy, we were NOT disappointed! First thing that suprised me is that this restaurant has a parking lot (a rarity for NYC), it's huge inside with tasteful decor. Inside is pretty loud, but it's expected being that it's packed. Once seated we receive the usual tea (surprisingly the table already had 2 1 liter soda bottles, Coke and Sprite). My wife decided to take charge and order for us and let me say she made all the right choices. She ordered: Tripe, Jellyfish, Ribs, Shrimp Dumplings, Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster, Schezuan Beef, Chicken Fried Rice and Tofu with Pork. This was a smorgasbord of culinary delight! Every morsel was infused with flavor. The price couldn't be beat, we were very suprised at how inexpensive it all was, at one point I thought they might have forgotten to add a couple of dishes to the bill. We all had an amazingly beautiful time with family. This is by far the best Dim Sum place I've eaten at, now I have a favorite place to partake with family when I visit Flushing again.

A classic dim sum and seafood banquet style place in Flushing. The walnut shrimp was a good start to the meal, fluke crispy outside moist inside. Peashoot and greenbean cooked in high heat wok retaining their freshness. Pork chop really crispy and coated in sauce. Over all a great dinner!

Excellent place in the center of flushing, we go there pretty often (all the way from New Jersey!), the food is traditional Chinese cuisine and is absolutely delicious, large briefly of dishes, good service and relatively cheap prices! Most of the ladies with the carts don’t know English very well but are still able to more or less communicate and explain what dishes they have on their carts. Highly recommended!!

We went all the way to Asian Jewels for an authentic dim sum experience. I have to say that I was not disappointed at all. Before we even sat down we were swarmed by multiple Asian ladies and their carts full of food. Within a minute we had an entire tables worth of dishes and hot tea for us to enjoy. I don’t remember all of what we ordered, but I particularly enjoyed the fried dough in steamed rice roll, pork ribs, and bacon wrapped shrimp. The entire atmosphere was lively and reminded me of getting dim sum on a Sunday afternoon as a child. The service was also great, with us never needing to wait very long for a refill of hot water whenever we ran out of tea. Overall, I was extremely happy with our visit to Asian Jewels. Located in Flushing, the entire neighborhood was extremely lively and was an amazing place to be.

This was a wonderful find, introduced to us by friends. We had been to Asia a few times and love the food. This place had a great selection of authentic dim sum foods. It's busy, but well organized, and their is always a cart coming around to select from. It is a bit difficult to understand what some of the dishes are, but they try to explain if you ask.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Asian Jewels, and it exceeded my expectations! The dim sum was particularly amazing - it was incredibly fresh and the carts were constantly rotating around so we were able to sample a variety of dishes. Despite being busy, we didn't have to wait to be seated. The staff was accommodating and the restaurant was very clean. All of the dishes we tried were delicious. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here for probably close to 20 years and the food is always great here. Consistent and I've never had a bad time. Come here for dim sum, dinner or even a banquet and the food is a great reflection of Cantonese cuisine. Although some of the things are slight departures of the dishes you'd fine in Hong Kong, they're tasty nonetheless. Definitely one of the best dim sum spots in Flushing. There's valet parking, but can get full easily during the weekends so I'd recommend parking at the Skyview Mall instead and just walk over.

My experience here was truly remarkable. My daughter and I adore dim sum, and the quality of the food, along with the friendly customer service, made it even better. The food was served hot and warm throughout—not a single dish was cold. I enjoyed every bite, and my daughter was equally happy. We're definitely excited to return.

They got spots for solo diners. I don't speak a lick of Chinese, but managed to select what I wanted (the courteous ladies pushing the carts were very attentive), and showed me their wares. Everything was on the quality of what I'd expect from a dim sum place. It was good stuff.

One of the better dim sum places in flushing, though be prepared for a long wait on weekends. Great for large parties, as they have a lot of seating. Some items were a little off perfection, but overall a good experience. They also have a parking lot, but will fill up fast on weekends. It's not a hole in the wall, but prices are still reasonable.

呂恬美

Where I'm from, there aren't as many options for dim sum. Asian Jewel was a little pricey but worth every penny. They had much more variety on their menu and delicious dishes. The service was fast and the waiters were kind. The bathroom was also something to note as really nice and fancy. You walk through the hallways and can't help but be mesmerized by the lighting and cleanliness

Excellent first experience here. After having enjoyed many dim sum meals in Hong Kong and New York, this was definitely one of the better and most authentic Cantonese dim sum meals that I’ve had in quite some time. The place is quite large and quite busy so there are always fresh items coming out in the carts. Some of my favorites were the shumai and the hargow, rice rolls were also very good with shrimp although we were told that you need to order the char siu rice roll separately, which I thought was a little strange. Will definitely try this place again!

K
Kimberly Giang

Ordered take out from here and everything came out on time and correct. The staff was helpful in guiding me toward the pick up area and finding my order. Everything was packaged neatly. Enjoyed the variety of items on the menu. The roasted pork buns were actually pretty large in size. Overall great for the value. Would definitely love to come back to dine inside for the traditional cart dim sum.

Wow! A staple in the Flushing area. Large restaurant with many private rooms for additional seating. Valet parking. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Dim sum is the star ⭐️. Completely Asian staff and patrons so you know the food is great. Great staff! We will definitely be going back.

**Asian Jewels Restaurant Review:** **Ambiance:** Asian Jewels offers a traditional yet elegant atmosphere, often with vibrant decor and comfortable seating. The ambiance is lively during peak hours, reflecting the bustling atmosphere typical of popular Chinese eateries. **Food Quality:* We ordered Peking duck and buns, it's safe to assume that the food quality at Asian Jewels is exceptional. Whether you're craving dim sum classics or exploring new dishes, it's a go-to spot for satisfying your culinary cravings. What a great experience!! Very lively - within minutes of sitting down, carts of dim sum came to our table so we could start ordering and eating. Would come prepared knowing what you want or you can try your bets and try a bunch of new things. I would also come early as it was already pretty busy at 9.45am on a Saturday. Really yummy dim sum and great service! Will definitely be back.

I’m not usually a fan of dim sum, but I have to say, the dim sum here is delicious. The quality of service isn’t the best—they tend to rush and just toss the sauces and dishes due to the busyness—but overall, it’s a fun place to visit if you want to enjoy fresh, authentic dim sum.

S

Excellent option for family dinner or dinner with friends. Staff is friendly and they have many traditional options. Even American Chinese options are available. Food is excellent quality and the service is very quick. Everything came out within 20-25 minutes. Lobster fried rice is excellent and fresh. Chicken was super tender and not dry at all. Eggplant was hot and fresh, not too salty. The shrimp was plump and cooked perfectly. Tofu was great. Green beans were excellent. Fish was great too. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Used to come here for dim sum as a kid and that was excellent too. Will definitely be back in the future.

Really good Dim Sum Restaurant in NYC. I got Dim Sum for lunch and it's really nice. They have long cue for the table but it run fast. Seating area are large. Dim Sum come in the cart and you have to pick what you want and they will write down in the paper of your table then you give it to the staff for payment. Taste are really good like the one I had in Hong Kong. Rice roll are tasty especially the fried Chinese dough are really good. They have their own parking lot for free. Enjoy ! Updated May 2025 Everything is good as it been. Same good taste, hot tasty dim-sum i had in NYC.

Good Cantonese Chinese banquet type food, served family style. $100 per person, but we went all out, pre-ordering a suckling pig for our dinner. We had three tables. We come here for dim sum too. Good food. Valet parking lot. They have private rooms also.

Banquet menu offers a great way to experience a large variety of dishes together. There were 14 of us (including 3 kids) and we enjoyed catching up over a bountiful meal. Ended up with way too much food so everyone took home leftovers but it was all tasty. Restaurant gets busy (full by the time we left) but the dishes came out fast so very quickly our table was covered in dishes. Valet parking is convenient but expect to wait a few minutes on your way out since the cars are tightly parked. Reservations for groups recommended.

I’ve been craving some authentic dim sum for a while, and Asian Jewels really hit the spot. The whole atmosphere took me right back to Hong Kong—spacious, lively, and full of energy, with servers pushing carts around the room. Not many dim sum places still do that, and I love the vibe it creates. As for the food, everything was pretty solid. The highlights were exactly what you’d expect from a place like this: the shumai were outstanding, and the har gow were just as good. Some of the other dishes were decent, though I’d skip the soup dumplings since you can get much better versions elsewhere. Overall, a great and reasonably priced lunch. I’d happily return.

First time dining here tonight after reading their reviews. We order chicken meehoon and soft tofu with veggies. Both dishes tasted great and not too salty. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We loved the ham sui gok (crispy dumpling), pineapple BBQ pork buns, and the surprisingly good durian mochi! Some items were less exciting though—the tofu pudding lacked flavor, and the congee with century egg and pork was a bit underwhelming. But overall, the experience was great, with friendly service.

This dim sum restaurant in Flushing has a long history and offers very authentic flavors. It is also very popular, and as the area continues to develop, the restaurant has become even busier. To avoid long waits, I recommend going before 11 AM or between 2-3 PM to avoid peak times. They offer dim sum with pushcart service, allowing you to choose your favorite dishes. Since the dim sum is made fresh, it's always delicious. Compared to many other dim sum places, most of their dishes are impeccable in both taste and presentation. In addition to dim sum, they also offer typical Cantonese stir-fry dishes and noodles. It's an excellent choice for dim sum.

Andy Ly

I had heard great things about this place but didn’t expect it to be the best dim sum I’ve ever had. We only tried three dishes, but each one was perfect. I should mention there may be some bias since these are our usual favourites to order, but they were still the best I’ve ever had. They also have cart ladies pushing around the dishes, which is awesome to see since many dim sum spots I go to no longer do this. I can definitely see why this place was Michelin-recommended in the past.

Jean Ng

Dim sum is good , push cart ladies are sweet and polite so are the managers in suits. Huge dinning space with many rooms and the wait number calling goes fast. The plus side of this place is no need to share tables and a lot less shouting and noise. Very delightful dim sum brunch experience.

Staff was very efficient and amiable enough. I just wish my family taught me how to speak mandarin so my experience would've been more enjoyable. Definitely one of the better dim sum spots in downtown Flushing. They have valet parking for $3. Informed the hostess how many people we had and was seated right away once everyone arrived. They have a wide variety of dim sum options. Everything we ordered was amazing and the workers were nice and patient with us.

Valet parking! We got there early, so it may be they would have different. Turnip cakes warm not hot but they have a very good tripe, sticky rice, and shumai. In particular the shrimp dumplings were excellent

Busy dim sum spot with the old school carts. Came here as a group of 5 around 11AM on a Sunday and didn't have to wait too long. You may be assigned a shared table, so make sure to specify if you don't want that for your group. Food-wise, the dishes we got were pretty decent, and different carts visited our table frequently enough. No complaints, it seemed like a reliable spot for dim sum.

I got a table for 4 in less than 15 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. It was very busy and crowded but we were brought in fairly quickly. The food was alright, not as tasty as other dim sum places I’ve been to in the Flushing area. The ladies who went around with the carts were nice. I probably would not come back again just because there are better dim sum places.

I love going to this place from time to time if you want a lot of variety of dim sums. The place is spacious, it has valet parking which is great if you're in Flushing. The food taste and atmostphere is just like most dim sum/chinese places that's why I gave it a 4 star as compared to 5.

Apparently very popular place for dim sum in Flushing. Had to wait in line to get a table. Everything tasted awesome and the staff who pushed the carts around were nice and even helped us to call other cart for the food we wanted. The bad part was that the lady summed our bill $2 more than it should be - she probably thinks most people won’t notice it. Would recommend summing up the cost of all the dishes yourself.

C

The food was excellent. The steamed rice noodles and shrimp were especially good. Actually, all the food items were very good when we went for lunch on a Saturday. They were very reasonably priced. The only qualm I had was that there was not a huge variety of dim sum items. We didn't have to wait very long for a table of 3 when we went at noon, although I suggest going early because there were a lot of people waiting. The service is very fast paced and we were able to pay our bill very quickly!

Few of my coworkers who are Chinese native recommended this place to me. I was excited to go and absolutely loved their food. There was a long line but the line goes on fast. I waited 15 minutes on weekend noon. They have many options for dimsum, and other dishes and soup too. All the plates were served nice and warm. It was definitely fun experience to enjoy dimsum where they have all kinds of dimsum full of cart.

Great dumpling experience. Very authentic cuisine. I normally do my dumpling experiences in New York city's Chinatown but I must say this place blows them all out of the water. Great food great service awesome selection couldn't ask for more. My family and I got there at around 9:00 a.m. when they open and thankfully we did because by 9:45 they were packed if you love dumplings by yourself with your family or on a date this spot is great

We just had a mini reunion at the restaurant. We reserved a room in bask after guaranteeing to spend a certain amount of money for our event on food and drink. The service was great and we had a wonderful time in the private space. We had an assortment of Dim Sum before having shared dishes.

Second time here. First time was just for dim sum. Super loud and could not get much attention from waiters/waitresses then. But we got the room this time and was quieter with much better service. Dim sum is good, seafood waa fresh and also very good😋

Looking for dim sum & then some - very large pieces & flavorful. No dipping sauce though? What do I know about authentic Asian food. My lovely server brought me some soy sauce. Tried the beef & mango and it was ok. Nice little touches with tea, peanuts & sliced fresh fruit after the meal. Very attentive service. Overall nice experience in Flushing.

We picked this place based on local Chinese recommendations on “RED”. We would say we probably like the dim sum place we went back in LA a little better but this one is definitely a great choice and is so much better than the dim sums I had in Salt Lake City. It’s busy but not crazy busy on a Monday late morning, we got seated right the way. One thing I would say lacking was the choice of tea, I don’t think they asked what tea we preferred to begin with, which is one big room for improvement I think. But I absolutely love that they still offers dim sum out on a dim sum cart on a weekday. I enjoyed most of the dim sums we picked, in particular the custard buns, barbecue pork steam rice roll and curry fish balls. Staffs here are very friendly and tried their best to find you the dim sum that you craved!

I had dim sum here. The food is pretty good. The service is friendly and responsive. You get that usual chaotic vibe that you would expect from a bustling neighborhood. I didn't give it five stars because the food, although good, was not exceptional. And I thought the pricing was a little high for the location.

It’s been a while hasn’t return to this traditional dim sum house. It’s not quite busy today and we’re enjoying the dim sum with my cousin as a start to the new year. Everyone has good smile here make us feel being welcomed. The food delights remain authentic, though the first dish (pictured 2) was mistakenly served, leading to some food waste. Highly recommended the herbs chicken feet , it’s delicious and I particularly enjoy the taste of angelica , but its soup was a little bit sweety to me, just wonder if they added sugar in it. However, It’s a pity that I had to miss my favorite durian pastry as I waited for quite a while..

Tasty and classic dim sum, definitely one of the best in Flushing area. Other dishes are ok, but nothing special. The place is usually crowded, looks hectic and sub par. The service is acceptable, but they don’t pay attention to details. The price is affordable, definitely not very expensive. It’s a good place for big groups, they even have private dining rooms. Valet parking offered. Overall it’s a good place for dim sum, however it’s missing a lot in the service and ambiance.

Great place to enjoy dimsum in the morning, lots of selections! Good food choices for dinner big serving. . Quick and good service, but there’s always a line/waiting, especially on weekends! It’s get to noisy/ loud.

Overall the food is pretty good. The atmosphere is very good. Traditional Chinese dim sum restaurant with food carts. Bring back my childhood memory. Recommend!

Came here for dim sum on a Sunday morning and it was really good. Servers come around with push carts with various food items and you just pick out whatever you want. There’s valet parking directly adjacent to the restaurant which was very convenient. It was very crowded when we got there and it is a bit of a chaotic uncoordinated madhouse while waiting to be seated at a table but thankfully the wait wasn’t that long.

T

Love the place for its dim sum, the à la carte was slightly off. The chow fun was a bit bland which is a staple, you shouldn't get it wrong. The duck was thrown into the fryer to heat up and crisp up the skin, leaving parts of the meat dry. Probably the most enjoyable dish of the meal was the fish with tofu and snow peas. Still would very much come here for the dim sum.

The food was quite good, and it wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday morning. We were seated immediately, and the staff with the carts came by quickly to offer their dim sum options. Great service overall and there’s also parking right next to the building which is a great plus!!

Always come here for dim sum and dinner events, they have lots big room at the back that good fits for big parties. Like me always have 10-20-30 peoples a night and we like privacy,

Old standby for dim sum in Flushing. Good variety, prompt service, dim sum served in carts. Visited in January and some of the dishes were lukewarm. Otherwise, excellent and well worth the wait (which one will usually face).

One of the best dim sum spots in NYC - great service with carts, great food options, exactly what you want from a dim sum place. Great shu mai. Had to wait about 30 minutes indoors for a Saturday morning walk in, but it went fast. Servers are helpful and courteous.

So much good dim sum that gets pushed around on carts. Cart ladies can get a bit aggressive but you’ll never lack food options. Service is overall a bit inconsistent and all over the place but you’ll adapt. Egg tarts here were very good.

I came here with a couple of friends for an early dinner on a random saturday. We were seated immediately despite the restaurant being quote busy. Before we even sat down, the servers were already offering us plates—so be prepared to start eating right away! The food itself was delicious and very unique for the american palate. My friends and I particularly liked the siu mai and cheong fun. However the experience can feel overwhelming if you’re not familiar with dim sum.The dishes come around quickly, and it was sometimes hard to understand what the staff were saying due to both the noise level and a language barrier. Some of the items are pictured in the menu, and at the front of the restaurant there’s a complete list of items in both English and Chinese, which is really helpful. The dim sum servers were friendly and never too pushy, which I appreciated. The only downside was trying to flag down a regular waiter for some water. When we finally did get someones attention he was a bit rude and told us to wait though no one brought us water until we asked a different waiter 15 minutes later. Overall, the food makes this place worth visiting. It’s delicious and authentic. Be ready for a fast-paced, lively atmosphere, and maybe brush up on dim sum basics beforehand to make the experience smoother.

Nice authentic dim sum experience. There are a lot of options on push carts. Although , a lot of dishes include shrimp which my husband is allergic to so more limited for us. Favorites include the chicken feet, meat and taro wrapped in tofu skin, and coconut pudding. We got there early when they opened around 9 on the weekend, however the kitchen doesn’t open until 10:30 so many things on the dim sum special list weren’t available.

Decent place to get dim sum. My favorite is the steamed shrimp ball with bits of water chestnut for the light crunch cooked in egg white sauce. Do go early to avoid crowds on weekends.

Good Chinese food in Flushing! They have a large space with lots of tables for big parties. They also have several private rooms available. The food is pretty standard compared to other restaurants in the area. One thing I didn’t like was that a lot of their sauces tasted similar with a hint of tomato like for the Peking Duck and the Pork Chops. Price was a bit expensive. Service was good. Parking lot with valet in the back, but gets hectic at the end.

I had a fun time here with 6 of my pals. Unfortunately we came at 3:33pm, unaware that the carts ended at 3:30. The sign said the dimsun ended at 4:00 not 3:30. We were still able to get dim-sun but just had to order them specifically and wait longer. The dim-sun was pretty tasty, although I would have liked the pork buns more if they had more meat inside. The soup dumplings also didn’t have much soup insight which was a bit disappointing. The tripe was great though. We had a great time but I recommend coming before 3:30pm for the best experience.

Asian Jewels (敦城海鲜酒楼) is a classic Cantonese dim sum hall with food carts still roaming between tables—fast, loud, and nostalgic. We came on a packed weekend morning and got seated instantly. Within minutes, food was on the table. We had all the staples—shumai, chicken feet, congee, fish balls, shrimp dumplings, milk buns. Everything was solid, nothing mind-blowing, but very true to the old-school experience. Service was efficient, no frills. The space is huge and hectic, but that’s part of the charm. Price is totally reasonable—three people ate well for about $70 with tips. Not the best dim sum in town, but if you want that bustling, cart-pushing vibe without the wait, this spot delivers.

The restaurant is located at the heart of Flushing in Queens. The traffic is crowed. The food is okay but the price is high. We had 3 people to have dinner last week, and it costs around $200 with tip. The white rice on the bowl was dry. The vegetable didn't taste well. We ordered a 2.25 lb fresh fish with soup and meal, the taste was good.

Good dim sum selection, however neither the food nor the service left us really happy. There was no English spoken until we got to the cashiers. When it came to conveying client wants, the language barrier was a big hindrance. Aside from that, we ended up paying more than we anticipated (for some reason). I would not return.

M

Just an OK restaurant. The veg is a bit old, sweet and sour pork taste was off from usual Cantonese style, I personally do not like it. Peking duck was ok. Overall the food quality is only pass, don't expect too much form here - beside a lot of MSG.... We all have to drink a lot water after.

Great food and fast service but valet demands a specific amount of tips. Food quality here for dimsum and Cantonese cuisine is pretty good. There's always a wait on weekends but it moves fast. Service in the restaurant is pretty fast, but exactly friendly but efficient. Free valet parking in Flushing is a huge plus but the valet refused to return car key unless tip is $5 or more.

Food was decent here. However, we disliked the service. Barely after we were seated (I was still standing taking off my coat) the cart ladies swarmed our table trying to sell us the dim sum. Approx 4 of them, all yelling at us to take their food. Got 11 items but they stamp 12. Then before we can start eating, another group of cart ladies came. Told them to let us eat first but won’t take no for an answer - told them don’t want a few times before they left us to start eating. Not seen such aggressive selling before.

Owner definitely need to keep and eye on employees. one of the female staff was hugging a customers dog inside the restaurant in the dining area (tables). continuing to serve customers without sanitizing! Multiple staff members wiped the face while serving food! food handlers need a refreshment course on being sanitary. Hope the health department catches these acts!

Very Disappointed. Our foodie group made a special trip on a Friday to celebrate the Lunar new year early. Heard this was a Michelin star restaurant. Feankly, it was very mediocre at best. Made the mistake of doing the prix fix. The portions were small and the muscles where over boiled and very dried. The lobster was average. The meat was over cooked. It was not terrible, but it certainly was NOT $120 a person good. Perhaps $50. There was nothing memorable food wise. Our group would normally rave about their favorite dish. There was none. Went home to eat something else. I am so annoyed I want to forget this experience.

⚠️ Overcharged by $60+ — double-check your bill Was overcharged by over $60 at dim sum. When I walked to the cashier to pay, a server stopped me and insisted on paying for me. I checked the bill, said it was wrong, and paid at the front. The cashier confirmed the mistake and corrected it. If I hadn’t checked, I would’ve overpaid. Pay at the cashier and review your bill carefully.

We had dinner there on Christmas. The place is very big and has free valet parking (we paid tip though). We ate here three years ago and the quality was much lower this time than we remembered. Most of the dishes were fine but we’ve had better in flushing. The beef short ribs were severely undercooked (pretty much raw) and very tough to eat. The fried rice was a bit hard and a bit bland. The live shrimp was cold when served. The duck was pretty good but I wish they let us make the buns ourselves because they came with little meat. The salt and pepper beef was good but very fatty pieces. Overall a below average experience. We’ve tried other places in the neighborhood that we like better and we won’t be coming back for dinner.

My friend and I went without reservations and were seated right away. The atmosphere felt very homey — large round tables that could easily seat 8+ people, giving it that family-style dining vibe. As soon as we sat down, they brought out green tea and peanuts, which was a nice touch. The waiter initially hovered a bit but seemed to notice we were still deciding, so he stepped away and came back later to take our order. The restaurant mainly focuses on seafood, but since my friend has an allergy, we ordered from the American Chinese menu instead. We got the veggie egg fried rice, chicken wings, veggie steamed buns, and the star of the night — sesame chicken. The fried rice was unfortunately very dry; we ended up using the sesame chicken sauce just to make it more enjoyable. The wings were disappointing. I was expecting traditional wings, but they were more buffalo-style and didn’t taste good at all. The veggie steamed buns were just okay — nothing special. The sesame chicken, however, was amazing. If I ever came back, it would honestly just be for that dish. At the end of the meal, they brought out fruit, which was surprisingly fresh and delicious. When it was time to pay, we noticed something that felt a bit odd. Our waiter took the card to the counter and then handed it to another woman on the other side of the restaurant. We didn’t see this happen with any other tables, so it stood out to us. While that was happening, he continued attending other tables. We stopped him to give him a cash tip directly, but he told us to leave it when the receipt came back. We’re not sure if that’s standard practice there or if they pool tips, but it felt unusual to us. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, and we likely wouldn’t return.

Visited last Sunday and honestly left pretty disappointed. For such a well-known dim sum spot, the selection was surprisingly limited. A lot of the carts kept circling with the same very basic items—mostly pork dumplings and a few usual staples. I asked for a couple of dishes like eggplant and other vegetable options, but they never came out at all. Service was also not great. The staff felt rushed and not very welcoming, and it was hard to get anyone’s attention when trying to ask about missing dishes. Overall the whole experience felt flat and not worth the hype, especially considering how much variety and vibrancy dim sum should have. Probably wouldn’t go bac

Terrible place. People sit right next to where they do deliveries, so there’s constant chaos with shouting and packages everywhere. They pushed a bunch of terrible stuff on us and then stopped serving food. After a long wait and calling several different people, they finally brought us a menu. After we chose and waited some more, they came back saying most of the items weren’t available, the others would take too long, and they tried to convince us to order other crap instead. I asked for the bill, left a 10% tip, and she even asked for more. Overall, very rude behavior. I’ve never been to such a terrible place in my life.

Pretty terrible restaurant all around, would recommend avoiding. We ordered king crab three ways (~$500). While the price per pound was decent, the preparation for each style ranged from mediocre to bad, which was disappointing given the price. We ordered a couple other dishes too, and they also weren't good. The service was also quite bad overall. They didn't cut the crab legs like they claimed they would, and when we asked for scissors to cut them ourselves, they refused several times (said there were no scissors) and gave us a bunch of attitude. After we spent some time arguing with them, they finally brought out some scissors and cut the crab legs open. When we left a low tip as a result, the server called over a manager, who tried to shame us into paying more, but that obviously wasn't going to happen.

E

Terrible experience. Everything was rushed and soggy. We also had to share a table with strangers and they didn’t even ask us. It was so unbelievably loud, we couldn’t even hear ourselves and there was food spills all over the carpet floors. We stayed for 10 mins and left.

Ordered a big PunChoi for our office party. But was so DISAPPOINTED because it was ice cold. We called was told we need to cook it up at stove. How can we get stove to cook in our office. Only the sauce is warm. Don't order lobster. 2 lobsters seems like just 1, barely fill up the tray.

I love coming to this restaurant and have been coming here for years. i brought my family with me today for the first time because i have been raving about this place. The food was great. At the end of the meal my dad kindly asked one of the server if he could have a few toothpicks. The server just brushed him off and told him to get it up front by the entrance. I found that to be extremely rude. If you dont expect to provide any service please dont expect any tip. we did tip 20% regardless but it was an extremely disappointing experience. I later went up to the server * short, old, asian guy) and asked for his name. He refused to tell me of course. five star for the food. one star for the service.

If i could give 0 stars, i would. We went to asian jewel seafood last night at 8:30, the food was not good & the place was very unsanitary as we found a cockroach in our food! We also received bad service, the wait was very long & the sight of an insect in our food ruined our appetite. I will not be going back & recommend all to avoid or atleast be careful of this place. I was expecting clean food & good service & which none of those was provided. There are so many places to choose from instead of this place so i am very frustrated that we chose this place. I have attached the photo of the food with the cockroach in my dish. BEWARE!
