Every time I come here I get the fried shumai and it is simply amazing! All the food here use FRESH ingredients and the meat quality is exceptional. Will keep coming here until I try the entire menu. One thing to note is that if you like very spicy food, you must ask your server for extra!

Sushi was phenomenal, some of the best I’ve had in Queens. The fried Thai Banana dessert with one scoop of vanilla ice cream is a must try in my opinion. The decor and vibes were very chill and the server was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Haven’t felt so full in a long time. Interior is great, parking was easy, staffs are friendly. Great service and song choices are awesome. Give them a try, they have multiple options on the food menu and drink menu. Thank you for the awesome service!

Great decor! The food is great. A great fusion of Thai and Japanese food. Fish is fresh. The Thai food is full of flavors. Family friendly and very accommodating. Great date place. They even have fake Japanese table seats/booths.

We went there for lunch with my friends. I worried if the food came out late since we have to go somewhere but it came out fast and the sushi was good.

A decent spot for noodles and sushi! The specialty rolls were flavorful and each piece delivered a unique taste. The fish seemed fresh too. The ramen is definitely not bad, but for me the broth was a little bland. I did really like the cha-su pork - it was tender and seasoned well. The green tea fried ice cream is fantastic. Crab Rangoon was decent. A nice, crispy bite with good filling. I think those were a little overpriced for the amount we were served. Overall, a pretty good spot! Will definitely return to try more of their menu items.

Really enjoyed going to this restaurant this past week as a group. We sat in one of the tatami tables where the floor is sunken and you take your shoes off before getting inside the small room. It was quite nice and semi private. The wait staff is so friendly and the food is pretty good. They have alot of options in lunch specials. And the menu in general is large. Also, if you check in via Yelp, you get a free scoop of green tea ice cream.

Still has the vibe and feel of the old namesake Kyoto. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The portion sizes are large and decorative. The green tea ice cream was a nice way to end dinner. Very cozy atmosphere.

Edit November 2021: Service can be hit or miss whether you order in or do delivery. If you call them directly you will most likely get an attitude so if you're ordering delivery do it on an app so there's that refund option. If you're ordering in make sure you have the waitresses read you the order back to avoid any mistakes. It's delicious when it's great but on the bad day you def get greasy food and it almost feels like it's leftovers from the day before. Just beware on bad day but enjoy it on good days. Amazing service and fresh food always!

Updated November 18, 2025: I went back to the restaurant since I was in the area and the last time I was there the food and service were great. To my surprise on this day I was not please with their food. I had lunch with my guests, and we order a number of dishes. We had sushi rolls lunch and it did not taste as good as the last time. The rice on the roll appeared to be a lot of vinegar and it look bad the way it was done. I had a number of other dishes did not taste good either. So I decided to change the rating from a 5 to a 2 for this reason. I think they changed the chef because was there a number of times prior and the food was eatable. I don’t think I be back after this bad experience. The calamari was very salty, the noodles was one of the worst I had, dry no taste and miso soup was very watery. (Note: see the last few photos) Maybe the owner changed and new owner doesn’t care much. Approximately June 2025: The atmosphere was OK the food and the service was great. Cannot complain celebrated my anniversary. Everything was good so I gave it a five being here before the waitress was outstanding caring , professional. The food was fresh and tasty. Don’t forget to ask for Lili , who was very professional, caring and very attentive.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. First of all, the entire place is extremely dirty. The ramen here is the worst I’ve ever had—you can taste a strong fishy, unpleasant odor, almost like the smell of blood. On top of that, the prices are outrageously expensive, basically a total rip-off.

What the hell is going on here. The management of this restaurant is absolutely terrible. The floor is extremely dirty and there’s a piece of plastic on the back wall of the sushi bar. I really don’t understand how this place is being run.

I’ve been a regular here for the past 6 years and tonight will be the last time I dine here. Waitresses were rude and condescending. Service was horrible. Food was horrible sashimi was inedible. Salmon Bento box came with the thinnest piece of fish I’ve ever seen, total rip off. When I asked the waitress she acted as if this was normal. I’m not sure if there is new management, but this used to be one of my favorite local restaurants. It’s absolutely nothing like it was in the past.
