Opinions de Tang Flushing
Been coming here for over 10 years and always have a great meal and time here. The food is excellent and the service is really top notch. Kalbi is awesome, so are the fish and seafood pancakes. Popcorn chicken is also quite tasty. Soups are very brothy and fresh, can’t go wrong with any of those. Parking is free and easy. Highly recommend Tang!
This place is BEYOND EXCELLENT I can't even begin to explain. Their food is SO fresh, served warm and you are just so satisfied that you need a nap after eating so much The food is SO good that I would RENT A CAR to get here because I lived in LIC (It's not very accessible from the train) The food is SO good that when my brother landed in JFK from New Orleans, I took him straight here! The food is SO good that I get random cravings and my mouth starts to water just thinking about the food. I can keep going with my stories about all the times I have been here & brought people here because this place is that impressive. I wish I can include photos but they didn't back up on my phone I've been to so many Korean restaurants like Jongro and many other ones, but they don't even come close to this one. The food, the service, the cleanliness, and just the overall restaurant is a RARE GEM!!
Every time when we are back to Queens, this is the place to go for our large group! We had 7 adults and 8 teens, and this is the place we go! We love their food! Everyone has their favorite dishes, so we ordered bunch of dishes and every can share. The pork slices with raw garlic was the bombs, goes so well with beers and soju! The calamari was fresh and tasty! The chicken wing is a must too! Just check out the pics!
This restaurant exceeded all expectations. Every accommodation here was lovely; my family came early for dinner so the staff was attentive and our food came very quickly. The atmosphere is great, with a spacious and calming yet cozy feel, and the restaurant itself is clean with a nice design and exterior. The food options are certainly extensive! The menu has food choices from various cuisines(Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese) and the pricing for the combos is fair; we highly recommend ordering the combo. We all ordered options from the plus combos, and every dish we were served was exceptional. We ordered the LA Galbi, Spicy beef tofu soup, spicy squid, and bibimbap; the food came out hot and in generous servings with various ingredients, each dish with very pleasant aromas. The galbi was so tender and flavorful, the tofu was soft, the squid was chewy, and bibimbap was sizzling and delicious. Even the salad appetizer was tasty and we helped ourselves! We are so glad that we came to Tang for dinner instead of other nearby options, and we’ll be coming back sometime too. We highly recommend this restaurant but you’ll get faster service if you come earlier. As we left, we even got a tote bag to carry the leftovers! Overall, fantastic restaurant and the best Korean place we’ve gone to!
It is a kind of the department of all Asian dishes. It is a convenient place to find average and a little higher quality Asian dishes but not a fine diner. Particularly, I was very disappointed with the seafood pancake. It was too thick and hard to chew. Still the rest of foods that we ordered were okay. No complain. Also, it has a relatively spacious parking lot.
Interesting menu offering here- mainly Korean, with Japanese and Chinese and some western style; the selection are handful, pretty modern fusion menu. Good combo offered in there menu to chose form, should have take some picture of their two menu book to show what they offering. Food quality is good, both chicken and pork are soft and tender; only the mushroom pancake I consider a bit expensive, and it took a long time to serve (it came after all other items). General I consider this is a quality restaurant and will come back to try their other items.
My second time dine at this restaurant. They have done a good job in pandemic prevention with temperature check, partitions between tables, and hand sanitizer on almost every table. Food and service are both good and price is not expensive. The Tang Plus Set combo is good deal. Parking space is available.
Decent food for decent prices I do like their combo deals Their menus are not exactly up to date, so be sure to always ask before you order Their portions are nice, and it's a very nice restaurant
Ambiance: This is a large Korean restaurant that has a menagerie of dishes They have tofu stew, Korean meats, curry, noodles, and more. It's a great place to bring large groups. It's loud and busy on weekend nights. Food: I got the prime pork galbi and beef tofu stew combo--it was SO GOOD. I rate this 5/5. Get the tofu stew and meat combo it's so worth it. The galbi was flavorful and just the right amount of fat. The beef tofu stew was so heartwarming. But note that the tofu isn't silky it's more of a rough porous texture. My friends and I got the kimchi tofu stew (2/5), japchae (3/5), and pork tonkatsu omelette rice (2/5). Kimchi tofu stew was too sour for my liking. Japchae and Pork tonkatsu tasted as expected--average. Service: The staff were so welcoming and attentive to giving us fresh ice water.
There is a great variety of options on their menu from Korean, Japanese to Chinese. It’s a perfect place for groups who can’t decide what to dine in common. The food was overall decent but not the best and authentic which was acceptable for a restaurant that serves multiple types of cuisine. Our favorite was their combo with reasonable price and great portion. The complimentary sides were limited in choice but refillable. The staff was friendly, attentive and served everything quickly. The indoor seating was wide-spaced and cozy with proper social distance. The parking is also available and not too bad.
The service and atmosphere are good but not the food. The tofu soup is better than average Korean restaurants in the area. Japchae is well too sweet, has too much onions but no spinach. The dish of Assorted pancakes is terrible. I expected something pan fried, but they were deep fried and oily.
Haven't been here in years and saw some new items on the memu. The food is great and recommend the bossam, omurice, chicken kalguksu, and gamjatang. The atmosphere is bustling and service is quick but may need a little revamp. The many different menus were confusing and minimal side dishes as well as some of the deteriorating chairs were sad to see.
Had early dinner with friends and the food was good. We enjoy the atmosphere and the variety of food. I ordered the combo with the choice of main and side dish for take out and was disappointed. The soft tofu had absolutely no solid pieces of tofu. The soup still taste good, but is that the quality you serve takeout order?
Just letting you know that it's based on solely my personal preference. Foods did not meet my expectations, I could give only 1 star for the boodae-jjigae it didn't have enough spam in it. Only 2 stars for the chicken combo because the taste was okay but the picture on the menu shows you variety of chickens but only two types were on the dish. The staffs looked very busy when the half of the restaurant seats were empty. Taking our orders wrong, brought foods we did not order more than 3 times. Did not care to remember after three times. It could happen 1 or 2 times for a visit, but more than three times? No one wouldn't want that to happen to them. Oh, almost forgot about valet parking. The guy asked for tip when we gave them the ticket, so I gave him tip. He returned my car key, not bringing back my car only showing me a direction where my car was which was at the end of the parking lot.
The menu is huge with very contemporary fusion Korean food. More importantly it does not taste Korean at all (not my flavor). Let’s start with there is no Banchan except kimchie and a salad with sweet dressing. The pancake sauce is also very sweet soy sauce. The 2 soup/stew we ordered were meh. Hot tea is lukewarm. Not much service either. Only good is it has parking. Overall I will not come again and do not recommend unless you like all your food sweet.
CALL POLICE! (Please read on) Runs by obnoxious owners and staff, very rude, my kid got hurt there while they serving food bu the manager gave me a bogus insurance information. I should called a police in that time of incident, they took a advantage of our generosity by not calling cops cuz we dont want to make a scene at busy dinner time. when I came back to get it resolved, they surrounded me (owner, manager and waiter) to threaten me. if any thing happens in that hell hall, CALL POLICE ASAP on the SPOT! get the POLICE REPORT NO MATTER HOW BUSY THEY ARE! GET YOUR RIGHTS CALL POLICE , you will thanks me later
The food was not even mediocre when compared to other Korean restaurants in the area. But the worst part was the service. The waitress that served us was beyond bad, it was nasty. Maybe because we're not Korean. Definitely not going back, I am sure there are other Korean restaurants that welcomes non-Korean customers.
