Amazing food and service!! Large selection of meals and desserts! Everything we tried was awsome. Chicken fried steak for my carebear, I had ribeye! Delicious potatoe soup! Salad bar is simple but good, and EXTREMELY FRESH! The carrots cake was Decadent as was my wife's chocolate cake. All made from scratch! Oh sooo good! Definitely worth coming back for! Can't wait to try their breakfasts! They looked/sounded Devine as well

Local business is always nice. Good pricing on food. Might make one think it's super greasy or after because of the cheap price, but everything is big and cooked well. I personally had steak and egg breakfast and everything was great! A steak seasoned and flavored like I would do at home. Wife had a burrito that was huge, she's still eating on it days later. Daughter had a buyer size of her head. We had an appetizer and I took wings home, with a generous tip we were still out of there for under $60. Still have to go back and try the deserts, cakes and pies looked awesome, we just were all too full to try it. We went here just trying out different local restaurants in the area. We've only lived in Forney for 6 months (as of our first visit here)

We ate there this past Friday for dinner. Had a party of five. We were greeted and seated right away by Chloe, who was also our waitress. She was so friendly and attentive. Our orders came out hot and perfect. She also suggested the pecan pie which was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

This place has a broad menu. We have ate here several times and the breakfast is absolutely awesome! Lunch is great as well. More of a cafe than a steakhouse, very casual. Service is very quick even for large party of 8. Highly recommend.

Always good food quality, but constantly changing menu/prices... CoVid excuse, I'm sure. Waitress staff is great, but sometimes a new cook may get a bit too fast and undercook some of the sides. This is far too seldom though, and so the rating will stay at 5 stars. If Maria is in the kitchen, then everything you get is really good.

I went there with my Sister and her husband, we were greeted as soon as we entered. The menu is not super elaborate, food portions are generous and the server was good. It was her first week/day not sure. She was attentive and chatted with the table. The owner came by to see how we were doing. It was a very pleasant experience, I would recommend this place, the burgers are really good.

We were going to another restaurant for brunch but they were completely booked solid with reservations. We saw Alfredo's in route so we back tracked. We had a great "brunch". The service was great. I requested 1/2 of the Californian Eggs Benedict. It was perfect! Bacon was crispy like I love it. Hubby's omelet & banana Pancakes were great!

This restaurant is more like family diner style, and we love it. The food and service are always great. I love that the owner will be right there with the employees working just as hard as them.

Never a wait and they have awesome food for great prices. We always have leftovers. Nice family owned cooks who work there own kitchen. Desserts are amazing they also have 2 private seating areas for large groups. Oh yeah, the biscuits are fresh from scratch. YUMMY!

Great place for a family dinner. I love that breakfast is served all day, I can order a steak and fresh salad bar while the kids have waffles or pancakes. Very good value, we fed two adults and three kids for under $50. Staff was very attentive. My only con is that I did not have room left for the amazing looking pies and cakes on display. Maybe i will stop by for coffee and pie without the wife and kids.

It’s reminds of these diners of the past small nice n’friendly staff and good food for a good price. Can’t ask for much more I recommend giving them a try one day.

Went for brunch and it wasn't as crowded which I loved, otherwise would have gotten it to go. The visit was great and felt homey. The waiter was inviting and pleasant to talk to. She made me feel like I was at a family member house. Food was delicious- more than I expected and at a reasonable price. I'd rather come here as 1st choice then Huddle House 2nd. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken w/ eggs & pancakes. This was such a yummy choice!!! It was SO GOOD!! 🤗 I added Cholula to my eggs & ketchup with Tobasco on my hashbrowns, SCRUMPTIOUS! 🥰 The staff is friendly in a relaxed atmosphere. I hope to come back soon!! Thank you for the great meal!!! 🙏 💜

I've lived in Forney for almost 30 year's, we've been to almost all of the restaurants here. We dined at Alfredo's this morning, we wanted to introduce my in law to all of the Breakfast places in Forney and by far Alfredo's is the #1 so far, the Service, food and atmosphere was excellent not to mention the young male waiter, his parents did a great job raising him, he was so, so respectful and awesome! Great small town cafe/diner. Love their breakfast options. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict and Chicken & Waffles. We were well taken care of at breakfast by Freddy. I have not had lunch or dinner here yet but looking forward to it in the future. They also have two banquet rooms available! Perfect local spot to have a party or reception.

Place looks more like a dinner than a steakhouse. Very cute and it had a decent crowd. I really enjoyed my French toast. My partner was not thrilled about the ribeye, but it was decent. The star of the meal was actually the service! Alfie our server was fantastic. A real joy to have as a server. Made sure we wanted for nothing and never had to ask for a refill. Looked like there was a salad bar. Next time we go back we might try that

The food was VERY delicious! The service was 5 star service. Greeted immediately as I walked through the door, and they were pretty busy and still managed to seat me immediately. There sweet tea is the bomb! Very good, not too sweet but just right. My waiter was on top of EVERYTHING no complainants.. my food came out in a good timely manner as well. If you haven't been to Alfredo's I HIGHLY Recommend you take your family and friends and tell your neighbors about this AMAZING restaurant! It's a MUST try, that's how good the food is!

It was good. The pancakes are the best i have ever had. The service is slow but they get the job done. The tea sometimes comes with little stirophome balls in it but only sometimes. For the most part they are very good. The chicken fried chicken is bland sms about an inch and a half thick.

Good food and good service, I highly recommend the grilled chicken salad. The Chicken was well marinated and had amazing flavor. The server seemed to go out of his way to accommodate our 5 person group. Though I didn't personally partake, the dinner rolls were absolutely raved about by others in the group.

Great food, great service! The dining area is very open, so it can get pretty loud. Great steaks & chicken fried steak, huge breakfast menu, yummy desserts.

Comfort food at my age is always good to find. Small salad bar or as an add-on to the menu. The soft drinks are a little pricey, but aren't they everywhere? Traditional diner furniture and decor. Nice dining room for meetings. Friendly service tops it all off.

Chicken fried steak was overcooked, so wasn't fork tender like it normally is. The rest of the selections, i.e., mashed potatoes and pinto beans were very good. The salad bar was fresh and had a good selection. Overall, enjoyed the meal and will be back.

Not the experience you think when you go to a steakhouse. Had more of a vibe of a run-down diner. The server was a bit brash, and I never got a to go container to take leftovers home. The food was pretty good. I had breakfast for dinner. Husband's steak was very thin and way over cooked.

4.5 stars Alfredos is great for what it is. A homey place with typical southern fair. Their breakfast is great with huge portions. Their lunch/dinner menu is also good with many of the main courses made from scratch. They also have a great burger and their chicken and dumplings is amazing. The one critique I have is that some of their side dishes seem to have come from a can. In the picture I have an omelette with biscuits and gravy and a fruit bowl. My one critique aside, I like Alfredos and eat there fairly often.

Juiciest grilled chicken I've ever had. Finally found a place with a salad bar. Wish the breading on the chicken fried steak didn't fall off so easy.

I had the grilled chicken salad and a glass of coke close to closing time. The salad veggies were fresh and crisp. The chicken was ok. Had no croutons, crackers or any other textured pushers. No drink refill offered. Cost of meal was $12.00 without tip. Overall, just OK is the best I can give.

busy family style restaurant, I like the salad bar feature, Ribeye steak poor quality, did not look like rib eye and it came with a bone it was under seasoned and the most expressive on the menu. Would try next time, I am not sure, specially with a lot of competing steak restaurants in the area

Miss Debbie was great!! The food was okay. We went in with 14 people and was served within a reasonable amount of time. We were missing a few items and was given items that we didn't order. It's best to keep a menu so you can make sure you get what you ordered.

The breakfast burrito was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth $12 and they left off ingredients that I paid extra for.

I think the name is a bit misleading, don't come here thinking it's a steakhouse like Saltgrass because it is not. It kind of reminded us of a diner/cafe/cafeteria. The food was just okay. Service was great and it was pleasing to see them cleaning the walls.

Order breakfast through DoorDash, was fast and hot...presentation was bleh but hey it's doordash. This skin of the porkchop had a little flavor the meat itself not so much. Cheese eggs were great and the pancakes were the perfect texture, they just had a distinct odd flavor. Overall breakfast gets a 3/5 it's okay.

Waitress was very attentive but food was bland and my steak came out medium rare instead of Medium well. Mash potatoes didn't have any seasoning tasted as they came out of a box. A friend and I went for a late lunch. This is the second time we have gone to this restaurant. And it will be our last time. The mashed Potatoes had a funny taste. Blackeye peas had no taste. Liver, yes I like liver, was burned in places. We eat out a lot and this was the worst experience we have had. Total waste of money.

I think the term steakhouse is being a bit generous here, which is truly what we were looking for when we searched for a new restaurant to try. I think diner may be a more appropriate word. They have all day breakfast which is cool and my son enjoyed his wholeheartedly. The club sandwich was good but beware anything fried... anything at all. We got the sampler because it advertised something we all wanted in an appetizer... but either their oil is very old or something else just wasn't right because it wasn't good at all. The food didn't settle in our stomachs right and we were all in the bathroom quickly after getting home. The waitress was super sweet though.

Ordered through Doordash and got the fried catfish with baked potato and chocolate cake for dessert. The fish was good but the cake was very dry and in pieces. Can't believe they actually put the cake in the bag with how it looked! Needless to say I don't recommend the chocolate cake.

First and last time at this restaurant. Started with no soft drinks available. Service was very slow and they weren't busy. Topped off with mashed potatoes that apparently were pulled out if the refrigerator and put on our plate with some warm gravy poured on top. Chicken Fried Steak was ok but have had better. We have been going to Alfredo’s often since we moved here 8 years ago. The service has always been great and food decent. Loved the salad bar option, however…today the service was pitiful. When asked what a specific dish was, our waitress said “I don’t know, I just started here 3 weeks ago.” We had to ask for silverware and napkins and sauce and syrup. The soup and salad was $12.99, but the salad plate is a desert plate! We spent about $100 with our 3 kids meals, soup and salad, and the meatloaf dish. This is about what we would spend at Cheesecake Factory! Overall very disappointed.

I don't know why this place gets rated so well. it's got to be the breakfast because the steak was not great at all. I'm not even sure if I could go back for breakfast to give them a second chance as much as I see a lot of rave reviews about their breakfast. Yes next time I'll just go to a steakhouse for a steak.

First of all I hate having to give this review because overall the workers there were awesome. Their service was excellent. It's been approximately 16 years since we last visited this establishment. During this prior visit we left disappointed. Upon return to this establishment the food needs serious help. The medium rare steak was extra tough. The Salmon patties were overly cooked, the inner portion was mushy and tasteless. Broccoli lacked seasoning and seemed it sat around for hours before it was being served. One of desserts ordered was ice cream in It's small container upon opening discovered total melt down. (Refunded) The salad bar, dinner rolls, and French fries were quite good. Tea and soda is watered down excessively due to the amount of ice. Refills are served from a pitcher full of ice. WHY??? Entrance door left wide opened on arrival, which left invitation to fly infestation. More to point out but exiting.

There is nothing great about this place. I know some people swear by it. I have been here probably a handful of times and every time. Service is slow, however I think it's poor ownership. Food I would call it a little better than fast food. The outside is nice. The inside is a dump.

This place is so very overpriced for the portion sizes you get. The best thing about this place is the salad bar and its pretty generic. The meatloaf was bland and tiny. The sirloin was no better. They skimp on the sides. They do have a lot of sides though. I was very disappointed when i chomped down pretty hard on a piece of something that had fallen into my meatloaf mix somehow. I almost chipped a tooth. The 2 waiters and the kitchen staff agreed it was possibly a piece of plate. Then our waitress tried to charge us full price. The manger was very nice and took the meatloaf off the bill. Overall i wouldn't recommend this place even if i didn't eat plate.

The food was NOT what I exspected, it tasted like hospital food very bland little to no seasoning. I ordered lemond pepper chicken wings, fríes & lemonade for my Appetizer. The wings were not breaded they were dry & naked sitting in what appeared to look like lemon juice with lemon pepper or something. I had to drown the wings in ranch to eat them, I only ate 2 out of 8 the menu did not state wings came naked. Dinner: I ordered plate of fried catfish, mashed potatoes w/brown gravy, carrots with a side bowl of taco soup & another plate of catfish, cabbage, macaroni & cornbread. I had to add salt and pepper to the mashed potatoes the gravy was bland with little or no seasoning. The carrots taste like they came out of the can with sugar added. The soup tasted like canned vegetable soup with hamburger meat added. The cabbage was watery with no seasoning, the macaroni did not have any seasoning had to add salt and pepper. Waitress placed hot food in front of our toddler that was sitting in a high chair twice. We grabed the plates both times and ask the waitress to not place anymore food in front of the toddler as it was hot and toddlers grab everything in front of them. They only had Tabasco sauce and cholula hot sauce. Lemonade was Minute Maid. They do not sale any alcohol beverage. If you're allergic to sea food do not order anything fried as we were told everything is fried in the same greece. I was so disappointed at this point I did not even try my fish. The restaurant is dated, the bathroom look like a gas station bathroom. Prices were average. I spent $63 for two plates & additional tip for the waitress, the waitress was polite. I felt it was a waste of my money as I was not happy with the food. I would not visit again.

We are new to Forney and decided to give this place a try. Tables were small for a family of 5. Space was tight. We had to ask to put 2 tables together. Staff was great! Food is expensive and not all that great. It’s not worth the price. Family of 5 and our bill was $71!! I don’t spend that much at ihop or any where else for that matter. The cokes didn’t taste right. They tasted flat and old. I think we will stick with ihop where kids eat free! The place could use a little fixing up too. Nice people but we won’t be back.

Was seated for breakfast at 11 on a busy Saturday. Ordered a water and then was told they made a mistake seating me and the table was being pushed together with another table. Meanwhile, there was another whole room of empty tables they were not using for some reason. Never again.

I use to like this place but recently I had under cooked meat, unseasoned fish and unsanitary food handling. I watched the un-gloved worker lick her finger while slicing/packing pie. The next day I watched another un-gloved worker prepare plates. Touching bacon, fried mushrooms, cheese and countless other items on people's plate. The worse part after I reported this the chef in back who I am to assume is Alfredo told me there are plenty of other places to eat in the area if I am unhappy. The only plus is the staff is always extremely friendly.

I ordered pancakes with fruit which were good but the size that someone might serve their toddler not worth $8.99!! My husband ordered home fries with his order and they served him very crunchy (raw) red potatoes. Our waitress was not attentive AT ALL we had to keep flagging her down (while she sat at a table with other waiters) or ask for her by description bc she didn't tell is her name. When she asked us how everything was she walked away during the question like it was just a formality. We have come here lots of times and it has never been like this but it was enough to not come back!

They were out of the small ribeye that was on special. Waitress said we could have the sirloin for the same price. After our meal the receipt was for the regular price sirloin. When brought to her attention she fixed it. Then she came back saying that the owner said we had to pay the regular price so she handed us a new receipt. When I tried to talk to the owner she walked off ignoring me. Very rude! Been coming here since they first opened. I won't be back. Very unpleasant and costly experience. All over $4. I know that is nothing to most but it's not the way to treat a customer, especially a long time customer.

First and LAST time coming here! Wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE! The food took forever and wasn’t even HOT! There was a roach on the basket of bread, Hair in the lettuce at the salad bar. To top it off when asking for a refill, I took my lid and straw off before giving the waitress the cup. When the waitress came back with my drink she had put a USED straw WITH lip stick in my cup! However the young lady did apologize and brought out a new drink stating this is only her 3 day and never gotten proper training! When speaking to the manager she never once took accountability or even apologized but wanted to have a debate about how they don’t have roaches! However I don’t fully blame the waitress but the upper management can be BETTER!

I have eaten here for over 10 years and the breakfast I got this morning was nasty. Nothing was edible. Bacon was deep fried and hard as a rock. Scrambled eggs were tolerable. the biscuits were 3 days old at best. hard as a hockey puck. The gravy wouldn't even soften it up. Crispy hashbrowns were raw. I called to speak to the manager and the apparent manager told the girl answering, for complaints, take a message. I told the girl this was the worst food I have ever gotten and she said sorry and hung up on me. Won't be eating here ever again

OH NO DISCRIMINATION STILL HAPPENING IN 2021!!! It was late and we stopped in to have supper for the first time. It was to say a very unpleasant experience and it seemed that they don’t have many blacks in to eat there. When we walked in no one greeted us and the waitress which I think was the owner picked up the menu’s and walked to the back of the room apart from the white customers and beck for us to come. It’s in the 40”s and the ceiling fan was on high we asked if she could turn it off and she said the batteries was out of the remote and didn’t ask if we wanted to be reseated to a warmer place since we had our 3 yr old granddaughter. When I asked for suggestions she seemed irritated and didn’t want to be bothered. We noticed that the whites was enjoying the salad bar which seemed to be free, however we was not advised so we didn’t bother. The food was ok and prices was reasonably BUT WE DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE PATRONIZING THERE AGAIN AND HOPE ALL BLACKS READING THIS MESSAGE SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU ARE APPRECIATED!

The food was over cooked and the staff was rude. Me and my husband ordered both oz. Of steak both was well over cooked the dinner rolls was hard as a rock. The eggs was way to runny. The staff had a attitude and told me that I didn't know what I was talking about the fried pickles was a whole pickle spear. The food was all around horrible. I just wish I couldve been able to eat here?? So my boyfriend and I leave church, to go eat here like we have wanted to for a long time. As the name implies this is a steakhouse, we both ordered the 8 oz new york steak and eggs. I ordered mine medium rare, received a well done steak but thats fine. I am okay with that and no one wants to be the "Karen" complaining at a restaurant. My boyfriend eats his steak rare, but will eat it medium rare. He doesnt like it done too much, which should not be an overwhelming request for a steakhouse. Again, no one wants to be the one to complain and be a karen. But his rare steak came out cold. I will say the environment and hospitality was good until my boyfriend asked them to throw the steak back on. Rare doesnt mean raw.... They brought it back a second time still cold in the middle. Its embarrassing to continue to ask for what you want. They remade a different steak, my boyfriend received another cold piece of meat. I asked them to touch it because this was seriously so crazy to me. I mean the eggs, grits, and gravy were delicious. But the manager took both of our plates, said "This isnt the place for you" voided our check and asked us to leave.... I mean really. Before the 3rd try to make a rare steak my boyfriend told them like some instructions on how they could achieve a rare piece of meat on that cut, and they said "we followed your instructions" but a cold steak was brought to us like fridge cold. I told my boyfriend moral of the story is to i guess jot order a rare steak in a setting that probably doesnt get those types of orders. But the way we were treated and told to leave was appalling. Im sad because this seems like a nice place. My food was edible, and honestly yummy. But it was pulled from in front of me and i was told that my boyfriend and I were "not in a place for us" i mean really you cannot make this up. Sorry to be a karen, but you dont have to treat people that way. We were not being rude or wanting anything free. We wouldve happily paid for a steak that was cooked more since they couldnt cook a rare one.

This place is disgusting, horrible, nasty, trash, untasteful the worst food i ever tasted. I sent both of my meals back. The first meal was liver and onions. No seasoning and it was gummy. The second meal is pork chops it was too tough and hard to chew. The only thing was good was the salad bar and sweet tea. I will NEVER come back here. Not even worth giving your pets the leftovers. But the manager was really nice.

Watched as all 4 waitresses on duty looked directly at me and continued to as I patiently waited to be greeted by one of them. Took a table nearby .Sat there for 5 minutes and watched as other patrons walked in and were immediately attended to. Finally, gave up and left. The prior 2 visits were good but noticed on those occasions that once my meal was delivered , there was never a return visit from my waitress. No refill , no nothing ! The food I will say is good but a bit overpriced

Decided to have breakfast for dinner. Hubby got omillet with biscuits ,gravy & hashbrowns around 6-6:30 p Friday. The meal overall was great, however the biscuit was so hard you couldn’t even break it in half or even cut it with a knife. No joke was like a hockey puck!! Ruined the meal ,all the waitstaff had to do was say they were from breakfast (what day I don’t know) & we could choose toast or roll. For that reason they got 1 star!

We must have come on an off day. There's no way this restaurant deserves a 4.3 star rating. 1. Ordered a ribeye medium rare. I got a well done New York Strip. When I asked for my correct steak, I received a Blue Rare one. 2. My family member ordered a breakfast skillet and there was at least 2 oz of grease at the bottom. 3. We were never checked on again, no refills, nothing. 4. No music at all, dull walls and outdated seating. I don't give out 1 stars often. This place absolutely earned it

Home fries were not cooked fully, biscuits were burned, and the gravy was cold. Eggs Benedict…. Eggs were undercooked and bernaise sauce was cold and completely broken. Will not return after being loyal customers for years. This review is over our last 2 visits.

We’ve had Alfredo’s for breakfast before but tonight we were in the mood for a steak but wanted to try something with less of a hustle and bustle than the chain restaurants. We both ordered the ribeye steaks and there were quite a few options for sides. The salad bar was fresh and I highly enjoyed 2 plates of it. When our steaks arrived, we can tell the excessive pepper would be a bit much. The steaks were salty and peppery. When you have such a delicious cut of meat like a ribeye, you don’t need to add so much unless they were trying to mask something. The Mac was runny, the potatoes had no flavor, and the brown gravy was quite strange. We also tried the green beans which we both enjoyed. They didn’t give us rolls at the start of our meal until I asked, I overheard them say it came with every meal so I figured I’d try those. Definitely didn’t miss out on anything. We spent about $80 with tip and got some desserts to go. The coconut pie was very artificial and the cheesecake wasn’t to my liking. I really hoped to enjoy this place but it’s just not for us and that’s okay….
