My date and I tried "BRAVO" and both of us have become huge fans! We tried Greek dishes and found them amazing, authentic and delicious and we'll go back to sample the Italian dishes next! We were at a memorial service in the middle of no where east of Ithaca NY. We were all hungry and someone found Bravo in Freeville NY. The place was empty, the owner was in the back working by himself when the 14 of us dropped in on him. He called in his wife, his son, and a few others. He said he would cook us a fabulous meal, and it was! The food was fantastic; we had pizza, pasta, salads, balaclava, (the owner and his wife are Greek)They were so charming, my only regret is that I live a thousand miles from the place. Were it not for that I would be a regular!

Outstanding restaurant in little old Freeville, NY. Very unassuming from the road--- small, obscure looking. But what a menu! A truly surprising variety of Greek and Italian dishes. Our party of five for lunch each had separate entrees and each was special and delicious. None of us could finish the ample servings; we all took away our leftovers to enjoy again. The owner/manager/server who is originally from Athens was extremely pleasant and forthcoming. The restaurant also does a lot of take-out and catering as it becomes more known in the area. Recommend stopping there with a big appetite for good food...

I visited today and found a very quaint casual atmosphere as the restaurant was once a small family home. The owner actually takes your order and it is prepared very promptly. I ordered the souvlaki and for the record my mother and father are from Greece and this is the food I grew up with. This is the best souvlaki I have had here in the Ithaca area hands down. If you are looking for authentic food this is your stop.

Go here for great subs, house special Pizza, or any of the entrees. Don't expect fast service it is small business and the owner is often doing the cooking. It is little more expense than say a Applebee's but four times better.

I am so happy we found this gem. Was recommended to us by one of my doctor's as we were looking for something different. Everything was homemade and amazing. The portions are very large and delicious. I can't wait to go again. We even took dessert to go for later, they were so irisistable 💖

The food is very good. Last time I was there I had the small country salad with marinated chicken, it was delicious and more than enough. We also shared a piece of cheesecake which was creamy and wonderful.

Warm bread - mmmmm Gyro - much loved Philly Cheesesteaks sandwich- amazed the crew member who gobbled it up GIANT Choc. Chip Cookies - these were enormous and delicious. I hope to return to the area and will definitely eat at Bravo!

Food was so fresh from the bread and oil dip, salads, and both entrees: chicken vincente and buffalo chicken wing pizza. So so so good. Our server was excellent too, anticipated all our needs before we had to ask and was super friendly! Definitely going back. We even talked to Gus for a short time and he asked how everything was.

I ordered the Lasagna Combo for party of 6 which included lasagna, fettuccini alfredo, bread, broccoli salad, soda & baklava ...all for $75 and I also ordered a picasso salad. Everything was exactly as ordered. If you are feeding a group of people (in our case we had a small birthday dinner), it makes sense to do the catering order rather than individual meals. We all thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna and the bread was 2 long baggets that were really good. I was very happy with the broccoli salad, I could eat that all day long! The baklava is the best I have ever had!! This was the first time I ordered picasso salad and was very happy with it. I would order everything all over again and hope I have the opportunity to. I heard they are moving to Ithaca, which bums me out since I'm in Cortland. I'm not a big cook, so I appreciate local restaurants like Bravo where the food is truly homemade...everything tasted fresh and authentic. I was reading some other reviews where they thought prices were high, I think if you only compare the cost of ingredients, you may think that, but people have to keep in mind all of their overhead costs, like, rent, gas, electric, insurance, employee wages, supplies....which btw, when I ordered a different order a month or so ago, and again with this order, I was pleasantly surprised with their durable cardboard boxes which hold the aluminum trays...no worries about the trays buckling . You get excellent food at a reasonable cost. Thank you Bravo!

Absolutely my favorite restaurant ever and I live three and a half hours away! I've been to many restaurants all over this country as have many others and by far this is my favorite! Everytime I have been here the food has been fantastic! The service is quick and great! The food comes out quick and the prices are just right! The amount of food you get is unbelievable and if you ever leave hungry you have a problem! A tip of the cap to you Gus!!

I have no idea what made me wait so long to try this place. It's exterior is unassuming but the food inside is made with such obvious love. The specials are delicious, and the owner is attentive and gracious. It's the kind of place you should go to when you want home cooked food for a reasonable price. They offers two sizes (Junior and Regular) and by no means does Junior mean small. And the baklava is to die for. Everything is hand made, nothing comes out of a bag and the place feels relaxed and homey. They have such variety and knowledge that it's just a wonderful place to eat.

Went for a relaxing lunch at a new place and were pleasantly surprised with delectable three course meal. Started with warm bread and a lovely herb olive oil dipping sauce. Continued with stuffed grape leave on a salad. Followed by a roasted feta cheese. We ordered entrees also but the portions were so large we made three meals of it. The food was spectacular. Do not be deceived by the location or external appearance, Bravo's is our new favorite place to eat! A must stop!

It's a small place with awesome Pizza that's why I gave it five stairs I know people probably don't even know the places there but I would have to say they have awesome Pizza and I will buy pizza again from them in the future probably within the next week because they have great pizza I recommend it to everyone the sauce taste awesome and I love that it's cooked on the floor of the oven which Cooks the crust beautifully. I hope people read this post and I hope they try it for themselves because you won't regret it.

Always great food! Everyone I know who has been there loves it. I'm slowly trying different things on the menu (I'm a very picky eater.) and I end up loving another thing on his menu everytime. His desserts are always great too, the cookies are the size of your hand and just as tall as they are wide. And they are baked perfectly not burnt but somehow all that cookiedough bakes into a delicious cookie. Highly recommend!

Baked feta was amazing. Service was great. The building is a bit rundown but I think they are working on improvements. Main courses did not come out as hot as we like it, but they were good.

A hidden gem in the small town of Freeville. So glad we stopped here on impulse today. Fish fry was listed outside, 2 for $25. Very generous portions. Well cooked, very tasty and I am picky about my fish. And it not only tasted good but wasn't greasy either! And the tartar sauce was even amazing and clearly homemade. The menu is extensive and we plan to return soon to try more offerings.

When dining in the food has always been good and the service, too. But, I ordered takeout wings and pizza slices one night and was dismayed by the high price for lousy food. Jumbo wings that were tiny, upset stomach all night. I will dine-in again there, but no more late night take-out.

Service, both on the phone and in house was on point, but I almost feel bad saying this. One of the two or three worst pizzas I've ever eaten.

Ginny and I stopped at bravo. We saw Gus. Its been a long time since I have seen him..it was nice..i ordered the seafood alfreado. Thats what I would always get at a1 in dryden..i was so dissapointed. It was not good at all..ginny got the chicken parm sub. Again a miss. Gus even cooked for us. I dont know what to say. I was so looking for that old gus food..thats not happening...

Its now known as Bravos but for a restaurant to serve greek and Italian i was very suprised and tried it out. Pizza was ok. Gyros veggies were fresh but meat was very dried and tasted old. Icing on the cake were the fries. How do you claim to be the best in the county but you serve re heated french fries to a customer is beyond me. Only reason i gave them 2 was due to pizza or i wouldve gave them 1.

Horrible!!!!!! They will over charge you and they think you will not notice. I've had to dispute with this company twice 02/05/2022 and the time before in mid 2021. Beware beware beware

Regularly cancel orders on delivery if they don’t feel they are worth it. Expect to wait 20-30 mins before knowing whether they will fulfill the order or not.

Their “house” dressing is just ranch. Unless you enjoy drinking your sandwiches, I would suggest ordering without the dressing.

I’m sitting in their parking lot at 11:15 on a Tuesday and they are not open. They don’t answer the phone. There are no signs in the window. Was kind of excited to try.

First of all, the food here is delicious and very expensive (overpriced for our small little town). Ordering minimally, I often spend over $50. Tonight my husband and I order a small cheese pizza, a dinner portion of chicken riggies and a small dolmades salad. Our bill was ~$50. That's fine, like I said we're used to these high prices here. While paying, I notice a sign saying that they're charging an extra 15% (!!!!!) because their prices from suppliers have gone up. That means I will now be paying an ADDITIONAL $7.50 on top of the already over priced food (~$50). There is no way prices have increased that drastically. Seems very greedy to me. I think we're all set on Bravo. Next time, I'll go down the road to Pizza and Bones and get an excellent pizzeria meal for half the price.

Ordered a calzone with mushrooms, sausage. Was not fully cooked, lots of raw dough. sausage was chewy and tasted nasty. Sauce was like tomato water, mushrooms tasted like dirt! Literally. Never again!! Delivery driver was very nice though.

I swung by here for a Salad (with chicken) while I was helping my friends get setup for a wedding the next day, which I was supposed to be a part of. I got SEVERE food poisoning from this salad, which literally stopped me from attending the wedding. I would normally give the restaurant The benefit of the doubt and say it could have been anything from my day, but I literally only ate the salad, and my body let me know many times over that's what it was.

Two pizzas with two toppings (one was half and half) and an order (5) of mozzarella sticks were $60! The pizza was soggy and both the pizza and the mozzarella sticks were tepid when we got them. About the only thing I can say about this place is they actually delivered to my friend's place and the food arrived when it was scheduled to. I'll probably bring frozen pizza next time honestly.

This is a tough one. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The issue was on my last two trips there the owner was berating someone in the kitchen and swearing loud enough for everyone in the building to hear it. Each session went on for several minutes. The first time I thought it was odd and was able to convince my two kids (9 and 11) that it was nothing to worry about. This last time we visited he was louder and longer (10 minutes?) The whole dining room went quite and it was awkward as we all were just looking at each other. It ruined the experience and I would not go again which is a shame because I like the staff and food. Maybe I can order to go?

I recently ordered Chicken Ala Greco. The portion size was fine, but not for the price. With tax I paid over $18. No sides are included for that price, just the chicken, spinach, sauce, and cheese. While I did know the price and what it included, I expected the quality to make up for it. However, the chicken was dry- drowning in sauce, but unmistakably dry. The sauce was ok falvor wise (a little too bright for my taste) BUT it separated in my dish. There was a 1/2 puddle of tomato liquid at the bottom. Sauce should not do that. This totally missed the mark.

I've ordered it several times already and it's never been made this poorly. I drove there and returned the food for a refund and could tell that the person I spoke with was very annoyed with my presence.
