Prices are incredible considering the expensive central tourist location. 15.90 euro for 2 course or 18.90 for 3 course meal! Ordered the soup, duck confit and caramel crepe, all delicious. Wine also affordable and delicious. No long wait times, even on a Friday night. Mix of authentic French and European food. Male owner speaks English and was kind, warm and helpful. Don’t believe any negative reviews. In a city full of extortionate prices and ripoff merchants, this place is a money-savvy tourist’s dream.

Loved our lunch here. It is great value for money. Good, simple, homemade-style french food in a traditional style decor with red and white checkered tablecloths in an old building on Isle Saint Louie. They have a menu for €11.90 and for that I had a starter, risotto and dessert. The service was excellent. You can’t go wrong.

Lovely Paris diner on quiet street close to Notre Dame Cathedral. Was totally full for lunch but waited to get table for 4 and was worth the wait! Very cozy inside. Crepes were amazing. Server was patient with our limited french!

One of our favorite places to eat in Paris. Quiet dining room elegance.Paired with great food g make for wonderful evening. I had salmon tartare, asparagus soup , and poached egg, asparagus and ham. Very nice.

This is a genuine find...a restaurant on Isle de la Cite serving traditional french fare at very reasonable prices. Very tiny, so table are closely packed but don't let that put you off...the food was delicious and very graciously served.

Cristian was our waiter tonight and he gave us an excellent service! Smilling all night long and was engaging the conversation without being too invasive. Really would recommend this place and food is delicious!

A fantastic meal. Absolutely delicious. A lovely atmosphere and fabulous service. Our host was by himself tonight due to staff illness and did a great job of both cooking and serving! We had confit duck and I had caramel crepe and my husband the chocolate dessert. Both were fabulous. We are returning tomorrow night for the same. Looking forward to it.

This is a place i keep going back to! Very well located and I love the cozy French atmosphere. I am a fan of all their dishes especially the galette complete. Very friendly and welcoming staff, they make you feel right at home.

Hemos ido entre semana y hemos podido disfrutar del menú de mediodía que tienen. Tienen una buena variedad, ya que tienen 3 menús diferentes que se ajustan a lo que necesitas. Las Gallettes están muy buenas y te llenan bastante. El servicio en general es muy rápido y todo está muy bueno. La señora que te atiende es muy simpática y mueve ella sola las mesas. Muy recomendable!

A small but cosy old furniture french restaurant in a nice area, mostly filled with the tourists as their hotels are close to Ils Saint Louis I guess. we liked it. Crepes Bonne Femme 👌😍 it was perfect.

Been coming to this place for years. The place hasn’t changed the menu for a good while now but it’s part of the charm. Food is good and simple and the prices are reasonable. Crowd is a mix of locals and tourists. The service is very friendly. Definitely recommended for a quick lunch or dinner.

We ate here about three years ago as we had a hotel in the area. Charming little local restaurant, great crêpes, but they have other wonderful dishes too. Also very nice cider.

We ordered two steaks, one I showed Google picture to the waiter was single meal, the other my wife ordered a set from the menu have soup and dessert, it turned out to be same meal, but the set price is cheaper. I was so tired of seeing the Louvre, so I couldn’t wait my wife finish her dessert and asked for check, the waitress, I believe she is owner, blamed me for not taking good care of lady.

Adorable little cafe down the block from Notre Dame on quiet, ancient Île Saint-Louis. A place where you can savor the quiet and quaint, a beautiful little diamond in the City. Gallettes and Crepes are the common fare, nothing fancy, but the interior is sublime. Come to relax and unwind-you're not in a bustling city anymore, perhaps a small country bistro? Enjoy!

The manager was a bit standoffish but obliged by giving us a late lunch ! Also I thought she added 2.50 gratuity but it was for the espresso so we didn't leave a tip ! Sorry ma'am !

Not our best meal in Paris, but the wine was fine. Both our plates were over cooked and tasted reheated. I guess we should have stuck with the crepes.

English: Appearance-wise & food a great place! Stopped in for a quick, solo lunch. Propriétaire was nice but while we spoke in French her attentiveness with me was certainly less than with native French. I asked to pay using my local French bankcard and she told me no, the machine not working, though I could see it on & ready. Never to me or anyone else sitting down to eat was this mentioned. When I was a little panicked as I don't always carry cash, she stated not her problem and became very rude. Thankfully I had .10 to spare! **Best galette I've had since moving here a couple years ago but thus experience ended negatively. I won't be suggesting this my local friends or any visitors as a result. Make sure you plan on cash only if you choose this place. Giving it an overall 2 ...would be a 5 had I not been treated so poorly. Great food/prices/value would rate it a "10" if I could & had it not been for being treated like my business doesn't matter!!

Wish we'd just gone hungry. Trying to save money, but wound up leaving the food on the plate. Also, I ordered a pichet of vin blanc, got red instead (very mediocre), decided not to complain until I found out I'd been up charged for "merlot". I complAined and the woman went into a very practiced rant ("nous me sommes pas de voleurs ici") so I gave up and paid the extra 5 euros. Serves me right for walking into a tourist trap.

I made reservations with the forkapp for diner at 19:30. We passed the restaurant at 19u and it was closed and dark inside. On the door it said it should be open from 18:45, but it wasn’t. We waited for 25 minutes outside but nothing happend inside the restaurant. It stayed dark and not a single staffmember was visible. So we went to another restaurant because we were not confident it would open at all that day. At 19:50u the restaurant called for our reservation but then it was to late.

Honestly, worst crepes ever!! Service ok but could really be improved, especially when the place is empty. But most importantly the food, do not stop! Decent prices though and good cider

Unlike most restaurants in Paris, at least outside touristy areas, if you ask for water and you are a foreigner you'll find a 3,90€ mineral water suprise instead of free tap water. Be sure to ask for a jar of water instead. Friendly staff and ok food but nobody likes to be tricked.

Very rude customer service from the old woman. Every customer must order something as well as a drink. I would expect this if it was a restaurant but this is more like a cafe. Even their name says cafe.

Had honestly the worst restaurant experience of my life here. The server was incredibly rude, shouting at us, angry at our menu choices, and rushing us out. I would thoroughly warn against going here unless you want to risk your day being ruined.

Do not even bother to go unless you can speak French very fluently. When we were ordering we asked for the pasta and crepes. the landlady understood that we wanted the crep in the pasta and it took a while to actually explain we wanted one after the other !When the crepes arrived the dough was wet and soggy and the Nutella had something very salty in it. It was so unpleasant I did not manage to eat it all, and I LOVE crepes but it is quite weird that it was so bad because we were in France. The land lady is very patronising. It was not just us she was also telling the people at the table next to us how to order and refusing to bring what they asked. It is surprising that she should dislike dealing with foreigners so much considering that her restaurant sits in one of the most touristy parts of the lovely French capital. But worst is f all the food just was not good.

What can I say? I've never been so badly received in a restaurant. To a point that I didn't stay... In brief: go somewhere else!

not what it used to be since the owner changed. food anaemic portion, they barely know how to set the table. And as a first, they had the audacity to ask for tips at the cashier during payment in a country where it's generally not done (the asking, not the tipping).

Avoid it at all costs especially if you don’t speak French ! The boss, an old woman , get very impatient when I tried to express what I want in English. Then when I tried to get some drinking water , she just give me a bottle of 4euro bottle water without checking with me what I want.maybe there is misunderstanding, but she can be more patient to someone who just came to the country! When I look at the reviews, I found I’m not the only person who had this experience with expensive drinking water ,Considering this is a popular restaurant in a popular site, it is really rude to the foreign guest !
